Marina, the owner, always does a great job! I was a US Marine and it just doesnt feel right unless my hair is short, clean and squared away. My job keeps me needing short hair and Ive never felt good with shabby hair anyway.Its hard finding someone outside of a military town who knows how to give someone a clean fade. Marina knows how to do an excellent Medium Fade that looks outstanding! These days since covid ruined everything, I always call ahead to make sure shes not too booked up.Ive tried those trendy barber shops that have a guys name and a 2 digit number in the name. Nope. Not for me. Worst haircut I can remember. Ill always go back to Mission Plaza Barber.

Brought my 2 year old son in for his first hair cut and Marina was wonderful with him as he squirmed all over and was not thrilled with the experience until it was finished. Then he was all smiles and very happy.

Was very pleased with my sons haircut done at this place. After a couple years of looking for a nice experienced barber it’s finally safe to say I found one! Marina is the most skilled and understandable person I’ve ever met. Most definitely call ahead of time to get in at your preferable time as this barbershop is pretty popular.

Was running late with the appointment which is whatever, but does the same cut on everyone. Definitely not what I wanted. I asked for a fade with the top trimmed about an inch, walked out with a wonky buzz cut and the top completely buzzed off. Its not even a good buzz cut and patchy. Avoid this place of you want anything other than a buzz cut

Ive searched for a place that can cut my hair, going to the franchises and have been disappointed time and time again. My hair is thick and curly/wavy. Im glad my dad found this place and recommended them to me. Theyre meticulous and friendly. This is a traditional barber shop, so for the price, its very worthy! Every time I go get a haircut I am very satisfied, no uneven areas! They even clean up around the edges with a warmed lather abs straight blade.

Owner is very nice and always does a great job, also doesnt charge you like its some high end beauty salon which is the new trend with barbers. Highly recommend for men

What a sight for sore eyes, an actual barber shop that is independently owned. This little four chair shop best the chains hands down. $15 haircut which include flat razor finish. Plus the clipper have vacuums attached so most of the hair does end up down your shirt. Coffee and donuts daily. Just a great place!!!

Mission Plaza Barbers is an excellent barber shop for both adults and boys. Ive been getting my hair cut there for nearly ten years and have always been happy with the results. Ive also been taking my boys with me to get their hair cut there since they were toddlers.When my oldest son was an infant, we took him to cool cuts for kids a couple of times, but mission plaza is a better haircut, a better value, and the boys love visiting Marina to get their haircut. So for my youngest we took him straight there and hes never had a haircut anywhere else, and I dont plan on ever taking him anywhere else.

Have been once and absolutely loved it. Service was great and the conversation was even better. Finally found a permanent barber.

Cleaned me up and made sure I didnt leave without the haircut that I wanted. As a woman finding a barber can be intimidating, but I was immediately welcomed and didnt feel uncomfortable. This was just an awesome experience.

Maria is fantastic! I enjoyed the haircut and she was both careful and meticulous in shaving me with a straight razor. Three hot towls were involved in the shave!

The woman who cut my hair did a really food job. The only complaint i have is that she used an electric razor like the kind one would use on thier face to do my razor skin fade even though she had a straight razor that she used to do my neck not but 10 mins later. Just kind of confused as to why this happened. Ill more than likely be back but maybe reconsider charging the same price as other barbers for what isnt quite up to par.

Took me in as the door was closing at end of day - treated me like I was an old friend and brought me right in. Did an excellent job! Then didnt charge me an arm & leg. Whats not to llke?

Only problem is that they dont take credit cards. Otherwise its a great experience and I love bring shaved with a straight razor!

Its unfortunate the reviews failed me. The only clients were older gentlemen which doesnt help when you ask for a fade. Would not recommend
