Ken is an amazing barber and the only barber allowed to cut my sons hair! He really is the best at what he does, and he’ll make you laugh while he’s doing it. We drive 30 minutes just to see him, and it’s worth it. My son always enjoys the conversation and Ken is great at making him feel right at home. Truly the best barber around!

Let me start off by saying I havent been to a professional hair place in YEARS:Today my 4 year old and I wanted to get matching hairstyles. Mohawks, to be exact. He calls it Rockstar Hair. We first initially went to a place that makes your Cut very Super, but they were booked up. My wife found this place on Google maps, and I cant thank her enough that she did. Ken was absolutely professional, knew how to talk with my son and handle him moving around. He also made you feel like youve been friends for many years. Very personal. And dang, do my son and I look good!!!!I would highly recommend going here. You will not regret it, and you will have some fun while getting your hair done!

Have been coming here for haircuts and beard trims once a month for a few years now. Have never gotten a less than great cut from either of the two barbers here. Pricing is fair considering the attention and detail you get. They finish off every cut by shaving the back of your neck with a straight razor in true old-school barbershop fashion.Pictures of clients hotrods and 4x4 rigs adorn the walls, conversation is light hearted and plentiful. Glad to have found a barber who cuts hair to fit your head, versus the canned cuts you get from the chains.

I never write bad reviews but this experience was so awful that I have to say something. I got my hair cut by an older man and asked for a 4 on the sides and a half inch off on top.. a very simple haircut. He showed me what a half inch off would look like with the comb and then turned the chair away from the mirror and proceeded to lop off 3 inches of hair, saying that he thought I wanted a half inch left. Not only did he butcher the top but when he shaved the sides he went way too far up to where it was basically a wide Mohawk. By the time I was able to look in a mirror it was too late. He then tried to even it out making it even worse and thinned it out to the point where you could see my scalp in a few spots. Now I have to wear a beanie for the next 3 months to hide this atrocity. I quite honestly would look better bald.

I went there yesterday just because we were around the area. I saw the barber interacting with Soldiers. Then when it was our turn, I was so shocked and taken back in a good way how he related and made conversation. I would definitely go back next time (even if its 20 minutes further than the closest one) and I definitely recommend. When it came to a kid, he had conversations with him about his clothes, school, movies, etc. I loved how he did not just talk to the parents the whole time while the kid is just sitting there quiet and shy. Dont let me forget to mention that he did an excellent job on the haircut too.

It was a little sketchy pulling up in a alley and shop. But I figured what the heck because of how many reviews the man had and Im glad I did. He did good!

My fiance has his hair cut here once a month. The guys working there are so friendly and chatty! The shop is well kept, organized, and clean. They have some great old school decor. Even though they are a small shop, they accept credit cards, with a small additional fee. When my fiance and I stopped in last week, they had a new guy working. He said he had been a barber for 20 years, but he is new to the shop. I was nervous at first, but that barber gave my fiance the best hair cut Ive seen! I am so impressed and highly recommend this barber shop!!!!

Ivans is honestly one of the best barbershops that I have been to. As I am pushing 30 with thinning hair, I dont have the time or energy to have a high maintenance hairstyle. I want something that looks professional, is easy to maintain and makes me feel confident.Whereas every shop I have gone to in the past 5 years takes business cut with extra on top to mean a fresh fade with a hard part, Ivans gave me my first adult-looking haircut in years. Ken really listened, and gave great recommendations. I highly recommend this place: reasonably priced, great service and high quality cuts.Side note: This was also the first shop who, upon hearing that I was not into football, did not try monologue about the F***ing Broncos for 25 minutes. We talked about trucks from the 80s. It was awesome.

Had high hopes, as my brother had a great experience here. Unfortunately I was sat at a chair with a very old woman, whom did not understand mens hair, or beard. I had to have several adjustments all of which took length off my beard and head. I am balding so this is not preferable. Very bad cut. Very bad beard trim. Will not return. Do not go if you value your hair style or length.

I come here every 3 to 4 weeks for a cut and a shave. I have been coming here since I was 21 years old. One of the very few places that does straight razor shaves on my face ( warm lather, hot towel, the works) I very rarely wait, I always enjoy my time there, the environment and staff are superb, and my cut always turns out great. If Im ever asked about my hair I always make a point to say where I get my hair cut and why I love it so much.

Horrible service! I went in twice. once wile my brother was getting cut then about a week later. Was unsure if I wanted to go back but they did a good job on my brothers hair. so I did. But upon my return just as the last time there was haired on the floor from 4 or 5 previous cuts. The boss was talking openly to a shop of 9 or 10 guest about his other employee was having emergency lady problems. As the other employee who was having said lady problems was coming in and out of the back on the phone with the doctor every time she left the room he started back at airing their dirty laundry. Both barbers showed no decorum or professionalism. And to top it off caused repeatedly even in front of children. Will NEVER GO BACK!!!

I just moved to Colorado and lucked up on this place. It is awesome. Ken is a great barber and just getting out of the Marine Corps I like my hair a certain way. I told him the regs and he cut it perfect the first time. I went in for my second visit and nothing below excellence. I recommend this great family owned business and he will win you over with the straight razor at the end. Its a dying art but it is far from dead here. Also the atmosphere is great usually a line on Saturdays however the customers are like family and we all talk so the wait doesnt seem long for an outstanding haircut.

Good old school barber shop, bottom line. Prices are reasonable, décor is barber shop, people are chatty and the barbers are talented. They do not take reservations so depending on the wait, you could be there awhile. What they means to me though is that they take their time with you versus the chain shops that get you out of the chair as fast as possible. Good cut topped off with a straight razored neckline and a warm towel for under $20 and I am a happy camper.

Many seasoned barbers in this salon, but do NOT find yourself in Allisons chair. She snipped my sons ear! (who suffers from learning/verbal communication disabilites and autism) When he started crying, she asked me to make him be quiet, or the service was going to be over me and my family have been coming to this shop for years and have loved it, but I cannot recommend it as long as someone so hostile and unprofessional is working there. Her attitude was disgusting and I cant handle seeing my son treated that way. And on top of all that, the cut was horrible! We got it fixed at Fantastic Sams. Im sorry to say this usually great place has lost a customer.

Walked in with my boyfriend to get his beard trimmed. There was a guy in the chair and 2 waiting. The gal working was young and blond.She didnt acknowledge us until she finished with the guy in the chair and rang him up, which had she been in a conversation with the guy, no big deal, but it was silent in that place.While ringing him up, she was busy texting on her phone and pretty much ignored him too.She called the next guy over, still ignoring us. She left all the hair from the previous guy on the floor and put the same cape on him, then went to the back.We left.I used to work in a salon and was disgusted that she didnt clean up and used the same cape.She was super unprofessional and if she were my employee, shed be fired.We really wanted to support a small, local business, but with employees like that, well take our business elsewhere.

With 3 sisters, my son needs a good solid male experience when he gets his hair cut. This is his Dude zone, and even at 10, hes treated like the rest of the men. Could not ask for a better barber...and if my husband didnt shave his head, hed be a regular just for the car talk!!

I asked the old man who sets shop at the very end of the store to do a design line on my side and it looked like a kindergartener tried to write his name on the side of my head when I asked for a simple line. Smh. I have been touring all of the barber shops in the metro area and I have never had a cut so sloppy in my life.
