These guys are the absolutely best, and theyre honest! My AC stopped working, I called them (it was evening), they came out the next DAY and quickly fixed it. They told me about a special they were doing to replace entire units and I was willing to do that and asked them to take a look at it first to see if theyd recommend it, and they didnt. They told me the truth, that my unit would last a while longer and not to replace it yet. They cleaned the coils (no charge), and really helped me understand how to maintain it better. Im so grateful!

We called Budget out to fix our A/C and they promptly arrived that afternoon. Our air conditioner is an older unit and they replaced the capacitor and got the A/C working in no time. They let us know the fan motor would probably fail soon but we took the risk to save money.Sure enough, a couple days later the fan motor failed and we called Budget out again. The company replaced the fan motor at a reasonable price, giving us a break on service fee since we just had them out there. I felt they really cared that we make it through this summer with our old unit.Because of their great service, we do plan on replacing our A/C unit and furnace through them.

Budget HVAC was amazing! Our AC went out and we have a 4 month old child that was not happy, John came over that day on short notice. Once seeing what was wrong he told us he would come back first thing in the morning. That same day around 5 pm John and his crew came back and fixed our AC and told us they wanted our child to be comfortable! I would recommend Budget HVAC to everyone!

I got Chriss contact info from a friend who had hired Chris and had nothing but great things to say. Chris gave me a competitive quote and said he could install everything later that week.He and his team showed up on time and began the work. They were in and out within 3 hours, and thats with tearing out the old units, installing the new units, running new lines, installing a smart thermostat, and cleaning up. They even modified the duct a bit so that the air would travel more efficiently out of the furnace. Boom.Cant say enough good things about Chris and the team.

Just back in my home 1 day, after 4 yrs living in Oregon and AC unit acting up. Called Budget Heating and Cooling at random - I couldnt be happier and service was top-notch. John and Chris were knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. John came out on Friday... discovered AC unit iced up.. AC fan needed to thaw out unit.. John was back next day (Saturday) and discovered Blower Motor was the culprit...left to go pick up motor and was back after 2 hours... on a Saturday..highly recommend.

I am so happy and impressed with the work we received from Chris and his team at Budget HVAC. I called him on a Saturday afternoon because we smelled a burning smell coming from our furnace/AC. He was able to get out by Monday morning to take a look, and it only took him about 2 minutes to figure out the problem. He was able to actually show me what was wrong and fully explained what the options were. We ended up having the replace the unit and Chris had his team out here that same week to get the work done. The price was fair up front so we didn’t bother talking to any other companies; our old furnace was only 4 years old so we had been through the process not too long ago. He even helped install a new thermostat as well. His team was on time, professional, and quickly got the job done. I’d highly recommend Chris and Budget HVAC, and will definitely be using them in the future if we have any other HVAC needs.

First off we were shocked and surprised when we called that we weren’t sent to an answering service, that sealed the deal. Chris was very professional and answered our questions while he was working. Since our AC unit was an older model he informed us of possible issues that could come up over time which was very helpful. Should any of those issues arise we will definitely call Budget Heating and AC.

Unfortunately my experience with this business was not the best and could have been better.They did a poor job of sealing up the ductwork above the new hvac unit they installed and it was leaking air in many places (I had to install aluminum tape to seal it)They charged me more than originally quoted because I was told an electrician needed to come move some wiring.... I was definitely charged more but an electrician never came. They didnt clean up after themselves as well but that can be overlooked.The biggest issue I have is they installed the furnace crooked on the new base. I asked them to fix it and the installer even mentioned they didnt get it squared up but they would not correct the issue and blew me off (probably because I paid in full before work was completed). Its unfortunate they arent willing to correct the crooked installation so I cant say I will be recommending anyone use them for their HVAC needs.Edit: I have plenty of text messages and phone calls from Chris to prove this review is for your company. Chris is the one that didnt want to fix the issue and Wayne(I believe) is who did the install. Text messages would also prove everything else I mentioned. Review stays and is deserved.

His repair was well within my budget *ba-dum tiss!*The whole story: my furnace was blowing cold air.Friday: Company 1 said parts A, B, & C need to be replaced and the furnace had surpassed its life expectancy of 10-15 yrs. Gives quote to repair as well as replacement options.Earlier today: Company 2 said part D needs to be replaced, replaces filter, also says furnace has surpassed its life expectancy of 10-15 yrs. Repair quote not provided.Also today: Company 3/Chris from Budget said the filter was put in incorrectly, showed me how to put it in right and that the slot that holds the filter tips 15 °for replacement but needs to be straight up and down/ 0° for use.He diagnosed and replaced the part, spoke about my furnace brand, the condition, and, while it is X years old, it has not yet surpassed its expectancy for this particular brand.Chris has worked with this brand in the past, a credit that the previous inspectors hadnt mention.While I should mention that it appears he tracked some filth on my carpets, since he saved me hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, Im willing to over look a minor mess.Especially since its no competition compared to the messed my cats keep coughing up.

Chris is great. He fixed our furnace issue in the same day we called. We chatted a bit about our furnace and A/C because it’s getting old and he gave us a ballpark estimate to replace both that was less than half of what another company quoted us over the Summer. All-around nice guy, wore a mask (pandemic-conscious), super friendly, put up with our crazy dog, and was super fast. We will definitely be calling Chris again. A+ experience.

Called at 8:32 am. Chris was here in less then 20 minutes fixed my heat and was finished by 9:15am. All I can say is wow, I couldnt thank him enough. My furnace went out overnight. Within 2 hours of calling Chris was at my home inspecting the furnace. He tracked down the necessary parts and gave me a quote to repair, as well as a quote for a new furnace. The quote for the new furnace was below what I was expecting to pay, so I went that route. Chris planned to have his team come out the next day to install the furnace, but they called me an hour later to let me know they could do it today. His team came over and installed the furnace same day. Great service!

I called around with a broken AC and got multiple quotes and the soonest anyone could come by was 3 days later. Called budget and their trip charge was half the price and they came to check it out the same day...a Saturday! They ordered all of the parts needed and by Wednesday we had a new AC and furnace installed. Super friendly and very attentive. Thank you for keeping us cool:)

I had an issue with a motor on my furnace. I contacted Chris and he was responsive and came quickly. He repaired the motors. While here, he said i needed a new coil because the current was dirty and rusted. He stated it couldnt be cleaned. He informed me it had to be warmer before replacing it. After a couple of weeks i attempted to contact him to return to replace the coil. We made multiple attempts and he never responded. I had to contact someone else. They came to evaluate it and said he did such a poor job removing it that they could not repair it. Chris basically cut it out with a saw and did not cap any of the lines, not to mention he removed the fencing around my AC unit and threw it on the ground breaking the connectors. I had to contact someone else. This person is able to repair it, but states that Chris did a horrible job there is much more work involved (this guy is a friend of the family and trustworthy). Both people say that the coil should have never been removed and it just should have been cleaned. I am attaching pictures of it after I had cleaned it even though Chris said it couldnt be cleaned. After it being removed incorrectly, it cant be used again and he left the coil saying he would get it when he came back and now that he wont respond, I have to pay for the coil to be disposed of. This all means I still have to pay for a new coil. Also, there are other pieces that appear to have been broken possibly intentionally or because of his poor work that require replacement. He did replace the motors, but it is now costing so much more because of his poor work that it was not worth having him do the work. Avoid this company! The work provided is not worth the problems that come with it.UPDATE/RESPONSEThis didnt happen months ago, it happened April 16th. We never requested the coil back, because Chris didnt take it. He left it and said he would pick it up when he returned. The coil is still sitting in my yard because I have to take it somewhere and pay for it to be disposed of. We both attempted to contact Chris and he would not respond via text or call after telling us he would return and fix it. I still have the last text I sent to him on April 28th showing it was received and read. We were fine with him returning to fix it but we could not reach him or get a response so we had to find someone to fix our unit. Now this has cost us a lot more that anticipated because of all of the problems caused by him. Based on their response, im not sure if they are confused about the customer or if they are just trying to place blame on the customer in an attempt to make themselves look better.5/21We filed a dispute because we both tried to contact you in April and we didnt get a response. We contacted via text because thats what we had done in the past. Chris reached out for the first time today and called us an idiot and told us good luck getting a refund. We didnt even request half of the money back and the only reason we requested anything was because of the poor work and the amount it cost us because of the mistakes. I am posting picture of the conversation. Says a lot about your integrity. Why would we ever reach out to you after the poor communication and the way Chris spoke to my husband via text? You apparently have our numbers and have not attempted to reach us until a review was posted.5/22 RESPONSEI have posted pictures of the coil, it is clearly not disintegrating. I will be the first to admit, it was dirty and there was lots of dog hair. Now you say he replaced motors, flame sensor and repaired pressure switch. I was never told any of that, just that the motors were replaced, and I NEVER received a receipt of anything he did.Any time there is a negative review, you instantly attack the customer and blame them. Both my husband and I attempted to contact you MULTIPLE times over MULTIPLE days, the message was not missed, it was received and read. You keep going on about us not contacting you. You clearly have our numbers as well, since Chris E. called my husband an idiot via text.

Came out and diagnosed the problem quickly and returned to install our new A/C and furnace a few days later. The crew set expectations that they would be here at 8:00am and were waiting outside a few minutes early.Easy to work with and thorough in explaining how the system worked as well as tips to make the new unit last longer.By far the cheaper option vs applewood and some other providers in the area would 100% use this company in the future.

I called and spoke to Chris about a furnace inspection which he was happy to do and was able to get me scheduled the next day even after I had to call back and change our original meet time. I needed to cancel our meeting and did not communicate that to him effectively so he sent a technician to my house at the agreed upon time but I didnt need the work done. They were very understanding and willing to work with me on the service charge for sending a technician out for no work done. I appreciate their understanding in this matter.

Chris was AMAZING! I get up around 3-4 am for work, and he was able to take my phone call around 5:45 am, so surprising. He was also able to complete the work without me actually being home since I have been so busy at work. In addition to that, he took care of my puppy too. Highly Recommend :)

Chris was the person who came out to my house very promptly. Said I needed a motor. we set up a time. Another guy showed up, no booties, no mask, no gloves. Put in the blower in about an hour. When he turned it on it was much louder then the last one. Chris called me on the phone I told him it was louder he argued that it was the same exact motor and If I wanted to pay for it or for his guy to take it out. Like an ultimatum! I said fine Ill pay for it. Then a few hours later the house was cool but not cool enough and not turning off. So I called him back and told him. He was rude and said he didnt want to deal with me he was coming to take it out.Very poor customer service. Never had any service like this before.Just a part 2 to my post. The next person I had to come look at,quote, and service my AC said it was not the blower motor, it was only a capacitor. $93.00 later it was fixed and more quite. Nobody trying to take advantage this time.

I can’t speak highly enough about Chris. I woke up this morning to a freezing house because my furnace motor died. I was super worried I wouldn’t be able to get anyone out to our house because of COVID-19 and it being last minute; however, Chris answered the phone right away. He told me he would come over after his first service call since it was in the same neighborhood. It literally took him 1 minute to diagnose the problem lol. Then he left to get a new motor and promptly came right back to install it. The installation only took 10 minutes and now our heat is back on! I couldn’t believe it only took 2.5 hours from the time I called him to the time my furnace was fixed. I seriously couldn’t stop thanking him for being so quick and helpful!! We needed a new AC and I was pretty sure a new heater. I sort of knew what was wrong and what I wanted but acted dumb.They were the only place that came over explained the issues and how to fix them. They recommended a variable speed. I complained AC wasnt getting pushed upstairs and they guaranteed that theyd make the upstairs 6-8 degrees cooler then it currently was.So I got everything they recommended.On a 85+ degree day our old AC would keep the downstairs around 75-76 and run all day long. What they installed can get the downstairs from 76->70 in a few hours and the upstairs is actually comfortable.The best part was they were in and out in 4 hours.

I bought a house within the past two weeks and have had issues with the Central Air. The first time was on a hot July afternoon on a Sunday. Chris and Dave were able to come out and fill the Freon in my system within 2 hours of calling!! They came out again to check on the system and put a stop leak in. Id called BH&C last night and spoked to Chris and he told me hell be arriving Sunday between mid-morning to noon. And he did. I was having problems my air conditioner. A/C wasnt cooling so I called several HVAC companies, the soonest of which was 5 days out. Chris was equally busy but squeezed me in at 8am the next morning. This is a straight up endorsement from a retired residential and commercial builder for Chris Enaire and his company Budget HVAC . Before you approach any other HVAC company to perform work in your home, I highly suggest that you absolutely call BUDGET HVAC ...FIRST! Chris should answer his cell within the hour...it was 5 minutes for me and he came to my home in 2 hours. Why call them first?...so that you can meet Chris, have him analyze your situation, gain confidence in his knowledge and expertise of the HVAC world and most likely send you a email quote for the work the same day. Then go out and chase bids with other contractors. The big dogs in the city that advertise on tv will most likely be almost twice the price (built in to the cost of meeting you in person first) and most of the middle to little dogs that are still 20-30% higher (some working out of the back of their trucks) should just hang it up and go sell shoes at SEARS.Chis sent me his bid the same day, scheduled me for 3 days out, communicated with me in those 3 days to make sure we were going to be ready...all was a GO.... and they were at my home on the dot at 8:30am on the scheduled start date. When our furnace was pulled out Chris showed me that our original coil on top of the furnace was undersized for the amount of air that the furnace has been trying to supply our home with for the past 27 years. He quoted me a price for the correct size coil for our new furnace and after I approved...he had it here in an hour. The price was exactly as quoted and he gave me the invoice for what he paid for it. They serviced our A/C unit as well and now the house feels like an icebox if we wish it to be. Im confident the furnace will heat just as efficiently. All of the work took 4 hours as was quoted, the whole project area was as clean as it was when they first arrived. All of his employees were as cordial and professional as you hoped they would be and every last piece of the equipment removed was hauled away in their trucks.To put it succinctly..... call BUDGET HVAC first and Chis will promptly meet with you at your home. Perform your due diligence in getting other bids in order to hold Chris accountable and then make your decision. My assessment is that you will experience the same 5 star results that I and many others on the list of reviewers have if you contract with Chris at BUDGET. Most likely you will also save significant dollars of your HVAC repair budget .....that you might have otherwise handed over to a substandard HVAC company. Been a commercial and residential builder for 45 years and all I can say is....THESE GUYS ARE GOOD !!!
