Driver was early and called to let me know he had arrived and where to find him in front of the hotel.Car was in good condition and clean overall.Driver drove safely and responsibly and got me to the airport in good time.Had a pleasant conversation with him for the duration of the drive.Accepted credit card without issue.Would definitely recommend.(Taxi #1443)
Left me stranded for over an hour after I called the taxi. Called back and was placed on hold for twenty minutes until I hung up. The guy wasn’t very professional. This could’ve been handled better. I guess customer service and my 100 dollar trip isn’t worth it.
I called Yellow Cab to make a reservation for a cab I needed for the next day. The cab never arrived. I called after 10 minutes and the employee said there were no cabs available. What did I make a reservation for? The yellow cab employee asked me to wait. I called 2 more times and when I said it was ridiculous and I had an important meeting to attend to which I would be late because of them her answer was short and rude. I told her not to worry about the cab anymore. I will never call them again and if you have something important to do I STRONGLY suggest you not to call them. Their service is the worst.
He called 15 minutes ahead and got there 8 minutes early. Only knocked off a star because he seemed irritated that I wanted to use a credit card, and the lowest tip option was 25%. I wanted to tip 15%. (It was possible to do a custom tip, but not easy.) But overall happy.

I made a reservation online 2 hours before the scheduled pick-up. Got a very pleasant and formal confirmation with the pick-up location, destination AIRPORT and time clearly stated.At least my cabbie called (two minutes after the appointed pick-up time) to let me know he was on his way. He said hed be there in 15-20 minutes, and I said I had a plane to catch and that I couldnt wait. He said AND I QUOTE, Its no problem. Well make it, I promise.40 minutes later we were on our way, and though he drove like a bat out of hell, which I appreciated the hustle, I missed checking into my flight by 5 minutes and had to spend $50 and three hours waiting for the next flight.. making me three hours late to work in PA and costing me hundreds of dollars and a tense relationship with my employer.The companys response?Hi,Thank you for your message.I’m very sorry that your cab failed to arrive at the requested time. We understand and apologize for the stress and inconvenience this may have caused.Placing a ride request in advance provides an advantage in that it bumps your request to the front of the queue when your pickup time rolls around. However, the request is still subject to driver availability at that time. Stay away from this company! I ordered a cab from Marietta to ATL on Thursday, August 8 at 3;30 PM for pickup at 5:30 PM and the dispatcher confirmed it. I left my meeting at 5:30 and there was no cab waiting. I called the dispatcher and she told me she would see what she could do in getting me a cab and would call me back in 10 minutes. When I told her that it had been confirmed she simply ignored that fact!! Good thing for Marietta Cab Company!!
Pretty punctual and nice. However, the cab driver was listening to some foreign language commentary the whole time. Annoying as hell.
This company scheduled a pick up but failed to mention that their systems were down and that they could not actually follow through on the reservation. As the pick up time came and went I called for a status and was met with poor customer service and attitude. I was told there was no way to communicate with cabs to find if they were en route and that one was never actually on its way. It would be sent out at this time. My rider had to be at the airport and this was simply unacceptable. It took three people in my office to cancel the new reservation and we ended up having to drive to the airport ourselves. I would never use again nor recommend yellow cab service.

I called and requested a cab to work and they already had my information based on my phone number so I assumed that they would be there rather quickly. They told me that a cab would call when he was in route. I waited 10...15...20...30 minutes and got no call. Then I called back and they told me a cab driver was on the way. Waited again 10...15...30 minutes. by this time i was late for work and they still had not showed up nor bothered to call. Worst experience ever. DO not waste your time because they have bad customer service, and charge rediculous prices. $15 for a 4 mile drive. GTFOH.

My driver was EXTREMELY rude... If cab #1414 every comes to your door order another one. I dont know if he woke up on the wrong side of the bed or if he just hated his job either way he shouldve had a better attitude towards PAYING customers. I asked questions about my fare he answered VERY rudely... I needed a round trip he got upset like it wasnt his JOB to drive.... I always spend 60$ or more and for the cab driver to b so rude I feel very insulted... I gotta start putting money on a card to use lyft if I could zero stars I would...
The customer service is beyond poor. It is could give a 0 I would. I called and asked for a taxi gave my location and the lady said ok bye. I ask her was that it and she responded let me make it complicated for you. I responded well it would be nice to ask my name and a time frame, what if I had an emergency she said well call 911. Its obvious they have no white overseers and yes sometime thats what it takes to get great customer service. Ill call a uber or ride the bus before I deal with such disgrace of customer service. Called ahead for a pickup. Driver over 45 minuets late. Had to call dispatch over and over with lies every time I called. Stay away from this company. Lots of choices out there. This should not be one.
First off, the cab I order never showed up. I just happened to see a cab riding by and I had to flag it down. Once inside the cab, the driver was very rude and grumpy. I told him the destination, a quick stop at the train station then home. He didnt want to run the meter and insisted that I paid $20 for the ride to the station AND $20 for the ride from the station to my home. I said Darn, I see why people like Uber. This fool had the nerve to say Well get out of my cab and call an Uber. If I had that as an option right now, I would be in an Uber, not this taxi. But back to what I was saying, The drive from the station to my house is literally 6 minutes long, including hitting a red light. The only positive thing about this experience was that it ended. Never ever riding in a taxi cab again.
I called them at 640 am the dispatch lady said that she would called the driver to call me to give me a ETA which would be 20 min or less. I called them again at 715 stating that the driver still isnt here and still has not called me with a arrival time, then the same dispatch lady says again Ill tell the driver to call u. When 740 comes still no call or driver so I call them back again twice but this time she didnt pick up my calls. Bad business and all the taxi companies wonder why uber and lyft are taking over.
This company LIES and says you can use the curb app, yet when you get in the car with a driver they act stupid. This company A. Doesnt want you using the free codes curb gives you. B. The greedy disgusting drivers want CASH! First thing these thugs ask you for is CASH. If you ask if you can use card they say you no have cash?. He also tried to BULLY me into personally paying him CASH or through HIS swiper, when I explained I used an app that said I could pay through them, he THREATENED to call the police on me. Worst cab service ever. I called cab for airport. The driver was so dumb that he didnt know whether he should take 285 south or north. He didnt even turn his GPS on. I got half an hour late. I had to turn my phone GPS on to show him the directions!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAB!!!!
I guess I was blessed with a great driver and despite the great Uber and Lyft I didnt have ANY problems to pay or getting to or from so thank God for that
THIS IS THE WORST CAB COMPANY EVER!!!! THERE IS A FLAT RATE FOR SHORT TRIPS, TRIED TO CHARGE A LADY WITH 3 KIDS $36 DOLLARS TO TAKE HER LESS THAN A MILE. ON TOP OF THAT THE LADY WAS STRANDED FROM OUT OF TOWN. BARELY HAD ENOUGH TO GET A HOTEL FOR HER AND HER FAMILY. WILL NEVER CALL THEM AGAIN.
I wanted to post this review because all other ratings are terrible and I want to be fair. Overall, my experience was quite good.I used Yellow Cab, even though I saw the negative reviews, because they were the only ones that could pick me up at my location within a half hour. I didnt have any issues with the phone people, they seemed rushed but were courteous and didnt ask any stupid questions. The driver called me within three minutes to let me know hell be there in under five minutes, which he was, so total wait for the cab was under ten minutes from call to pickup.Cab was clean, they accepted plastic, the driver knew where he was going, and was generally pretty professional and friendly.In fact, at one point we were cut off by a seemingly drunk driver, who almost crashed into another car ahead of us. Both cars ahead of us and swerved sporadically - I think an accident could have happened if my driver didnt slow down and change lanes as soon as we were cut off, anticipating that something bad could happen.
This is one of the worst companys I have experienced in recent years! I let my driver hold my I pad for collateral while I ran inside Walmart to cash my check, he was paranoid over a 20 dollar cab ride and not even 10 minutes later I walk outside and he was gone!!!! No where to be found and straight left my ass stranded there and stole my iPad!!!!! I have been talking to the corporate office trying to retrieve my iPad and they are worse to deal with than the driver. They said that the drivers are not there responsibility and not liable for there actions and I should call the police on them if need be!!!! I am still in the process of getting it back but I do not recommend anyone at all to use them for anything at all!!! Use uber from now on!!!
CAB DRIVER KEPT MY CREDIT CARD! FRAUDULENT CHARGES APPEARED THE NEXT DAY! CAR NO. 495. NEVER AGAIN will I use Yellow Cab or any other Atlanta cab company...Yesterday I took a Yellow cab from the airport to home. Once arrived I gave the driver my credit card to run the charge. He could not get the credit card charge app to work on his iPhone, so I offered to run into the house and grab addl cash than I had in wallet to pay the $70 fare + tip ($10).The next evening I noticed fraudulent charges placed on my card and immediately notified the credit card company. Once I put it all together and discovered my card missing from wallet, I realized I had left my card with the cab driver, having not used it since.Did the driver make these charges? I certainly dont know. I am in process of communicating w Yellow Cab first, then Police to file report. My clear recollection is leaving the card with the driver. It was my oversight and mistake forgetting to ask for card back once I gave him cash. What happened to the card from there, one can only speculate.All I know is from here forward its UBER or CAREY LIMO only. Prearranged, prepaid. No exchange of cards or cash transaction. Atlantas cab service will never again get my business.PS: UBER fare to the airport has never run higher than $31. I only took the cab since reportedly Atlanta Hartsfield does not allow UBER pickups and I had not prearranged w Carey. Ive been informed of workarounds for Uber airport pickups which I will try. From where I live, a taxi fare to & from the airport costs within a few dollars the same as using Carey Limo at $84 each way. Theres a head scratcher.4-17-16 - Follow-up to above post: Spoke w manager at Yellow Cab. He said hed investigate and call me back by next day. He never called back. I called back and left message to give him police report number. Still never heard back. After filing police report w Dekalb County, they said a detective would be in touch. Never heard back. Understand, as Im sure this is way low priority, even though I had a trail of charges at locations that couldve been followed up on immediately.Of course, I now have a new card w AmEx and the charges were stopped before they could be processed. Big headache always when changing cards.Now that there is Uber, never again will I take an Atlanta cab. Prepaid transactions is the future for all car hire and is now w Uber.Speak out to City of Atlanta! ...to allow Uber pickups at Hartsfield Atlanta Airport! The airport police currently will ticket and fine the drivers $1200 if they catch them. Ridiculous!
I booked a cab almost 3 hours in advance with the new RideCharge service online. I received a confirmation email from the service saying that Yellow Cab will be there at the time I requested. When the cab didnt show up, I called Yellow Cab and the dispatcher told me that their website doesnt even work and that they dont even service my area (just 20 min OTP, going ITP..)Im going to stick with Uber until these cabs (rightly) go out of business or step up their game A LOT.
I noticed some very reckless driving from a cab belonging to this company that nearly caused a 3 car accident as they were driving under the minimum speed limit of 40 on the highway. He then proceeded to change lanes without a blinker and we noticed he was very engaged in his cell phone.. when I contacted the company to give them a heads up they cut me off midsentence asking me to hold after already asking if they could help me. Once I got back on the phone with the women I told her I wanted to report a reckless driver and I was still speaking when she hung up on me
Cab driver of vehicle 0012 was ignorant and rude. He tried to over charge me for a ride that he stated was only $15. He never ran the meter from the pick up to the drop off. He wouldnt give me a receipt for the ride. He argued with me about the price, ran a red light, and made sure he ran over every bump in the road. Im no longer using yellow cab for any other car service. Im disappointed with the company.
