Very strong lack of love in that building from the staff all the way down to the women who live in the shelter. Negative energy around every corner in that building.Ive seen animals treat each other better than how I was treated by the people who live in and run that day room.

Staff is very rude except to the long timers/the ones that they’ve built a relationship with . Very little services are available. Sure you can wash clothes but only if slots are available and slots are filled very quickly . Food is often expired and undercooked . Just got over the 12 hour stomach flu. Staff and clients that work in the clothing closets pick through the clothes and take the nice things and leave the rest for everyone else .

All i wanted was something to eat. I went to the front desk and respectful asked the staff member what to do. Next the lady driver for the bus came to the front put her hand in my face and with a disrespectful attitude gave me the information. I guess she still feel some type of way from her past experience with me because in the past I had a very nasty attitude and with their help my attitude has improve. I hope she realized like I did you must learn to forgive people and keep moving forward. She is their to help the woman and be a excellent role model of Gods Love. Maybe she been disrespect so many times she cant get pass playing the victim.

I have a lack of understanding for all of these positive reviews. The women who work here look down on the women who reside here. They gossip about the women who stay here. They have a negative attitude about majority of everything. The food has been expired multiple times and undercooked. Leftovers are stretched out beyond health standards. The rules are ridiculous, they pick with certain people about bull****. They have no regard for the residents time but are always rushing the residents to match their time. They are rude, shady and heartless people that work here. The residents are separated between mothers and children and then single women. The single women are so rude, some of them are really nice. And they allow the single women to serve breakfast lunch and dinner when we dont have sponsors and they are so rude to the mothers and children and stingy with the food to only offer seconds to the other singles. Women store food in the fridges in the kitchen for their children and themselves and the singles use their food to serve everyone else. This is a jacked up place and it needs a lot of reviewing by the head staff and also an inspection by the health department. The kids are always sick because its as cold indoor as it is outdoors. They have no sympathy, period. I really wish they would train the employees better as far as dealing with the residents because while some people choose to be here, others have been displaced and we actually wanna get out of here. Ive cried at times because despite them feeding us, my son has been hungry still. We eat breakfast at 630 am and then lunch at 12 pm and then dinner at 515pm, small portions. With nothing in between dinner and breakfast. Women are pregnant and starving and kids are starving and you cant access the cafeteria during snack time (8:30pm) if your name isnt on a list not even to use the vending machine in the cafeteria. I know its not supposed to be luxury but it also shouldnt feel like survival island. And one woman told me to fees my son outside while it was raining. Another woman told another one of the ladies who was inquiring about dinner because it was running late that she could go to the store to use her food stamps to eat in 19° weather.

This is a very necessary place for the city of Atlanta to have....we definitely need more placed for the homeless in Georgia or the more populated areas. Thanks to all of the local sponsors and donations from the public and companys. May God bless this place. Ciao

This is one of the that I support. Its for those women who have been challenged in life and are now looking at a new start. Anything you can do clothing, make up. Business dresses. These women are looking to interview for jobs to support their children and themselves. It’s the simple things of life they need to restart.

This dislike is for all the women and children actually staying here sleeping outside, barely eating, being disrespected by the staff, and being subjected to disgusting living arrangements. These people are rude and this place is a complete joke.NO ONE WANTS TO HELP THE PEOPLE WHO NEED HELP GETTING ON THEIR FEET BUT LOVE PUTTING UP A FRONT LIKE THEY ARE HELPING SOMEONE.... smdh please dont go here if you need help and if you do (and have no choice) may the most high be with you.
