I love his work and how he does my hands and feet, he does an outstanding job every time I go there. I love the shop and the ambience, the salon is clean, bright, and looks like a boutique salon out of Paris. I feel like I’m downtown NY when I go there and I always get compliments on my hands and feet. I am constantly referring people to Sophia’s and they all love it as well.

I just arrived to Atlanta from Florida. After a long drive I got to my Airbnb and googled nail salons near me and this one was the closest. I got there and the place was absolutely bright and beautiful! Very clean and artistic! Kevin fit me right in and was super accommodating to the photo I showed him of the nail design I wanted, they came out absolutely perfect and I will absolutely be returning to this nail salon for my next visit in ATL! I made a few new friends during my experience as well! It was an all around beautiful experience at Sophia’s and I highly recommend this place!!!

Looked up a local nail shop, that was still open on a Sunday at 6pm for pedicures. Their hours on Google showed they close at 10pm. We get to the shop and open the door, the only male nail technician had the stankest face and didn’t greet us. He just stared once we walked in. I finally broke the silence and asked “Are you closed?”. He said yes, and rolled his eyes back down to the nails he was working on. Very nasty attitude and I’ll be telling everyone I know to not visit this shop. Very unprofessional.

So after reading the reviews and out of curiosity for the shop itself. I cheated on my Nail Tech once more. I dont know what kind of day it was for him but I felt most uncomfortable. The shop is Fabulous. Love the decor secondly I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. Kevin sat there with the utmost look of something stank face ever. Of course I didnt expect him to smile the whole time but small talk would have been okay. What I ask for was short coffin nail.... He said they would be small...okay...I agreed but I didnt think they would look like little shark bites...I have small hands but I wouldnt even.....so I ask before acrylic powder could I change it he said He couldnt....I was ready to pay for the shark tooths and leave.....Wait after he glued the tips in place he cut and filed the coffin shape. He filed my natural so low it gave my nail top a burning sensation when he did the the acrylic. So in all he filed my nails to prep for the tips and so forth, he filed after the tips I think he tried to shape my natural nail into a coffin too because my left hand thumb nail hurts to the touch. His Instagram is well organized and I loved his photos I witness some of the photos I am and still so disappointed I just got clear. I wont be able to get these nails off because my natural feels Raw....Maybe it was just a off day..

Soooo happy with the service Kevin gave me, if you want someone who is thorough, pay attention to details and really get in them cuticles, painlessly, this is the guy. PERIOD. He takes his time and he really affordable for the quality service he gives. Dont sleep on my boy!

This was my first time going to get my nails done there. It was on a Tuesday evening before my birthday . I stayed in the shop for 3 hours, I received a pink and white acrylic full set for $65. The process was rough and not the most pleasant but I was in love with my shape of my nails which is hard to accomplish perfectly.Exactly one week later, I had 2 nails that popped off as I was working and another 2 that were lifting. I was very upset but I said let me just inform him and we can correct this and move forward. We made plans to meet up in the afternoon. I went on my lunch break and waited 20m and he was a no show.I had no choice but to leave. Shortly after, i found a new nail salon and I’m sooo satisfied. Everything worked out how it was supposed to and I can say I supported another black business .

Experience was fair. Great conversation. Location was a little weird. The actual nail space is in a salon and only the salon name is posted outside. The space wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. The manicure nail portion was good, but it didn’t include a massage.

Strange place. But seems genuinely nice. We all watched a movie while waiting to get our nails done. I never got mine done, as he was the only nail tech there and I just couldnt wait any longer. However, he was nice and the ladies that I seen nails looked fab.

Very nice people!! Seems like a Fun place. But my nails are rugged and uneven. Could be bc she didnt start by soaking my nails. She never trimmed my cuticles so i can see the white cuticles still on my fingers. I tipped her, but honestly i totally could of did this at home. I was looking for a more detailed, professional manicure.

I literally called to see what time the shop closed. A gentleman answered and said what time they closed. I said ok thank you then he literally started yelling at me saying he doesn’t take walk ins. I said ok you don’t have to yell. He said I’m just telling you I said that’s fine it’s your business but you don’t have to yell at me. Based on his customer service on the phone I will never visit this place and I will never refer any of my clients. I work in the entertainment business. You never know who you are talking to. There was a better way to handle that. That wasn’t it.

Cheap quality & my nails broke the same day !! Weird guy he didn’t have paper towels for applying the acrylic, he ate candy then rub his fingers on his pants & then proceded to do ny nails. The whole set up is very lazy & unprofessional.

I never leave reviews, but I just felt the need to forewarn any and everyone I can so they dont have the same experience as I did. Like it was that horrific. I came to this salon on 6/6/2017 with two of my friends because it was the only one in the city open until 10pm. The nail tech did not know how to properly glue down the nail extension so there was a huge air bubble in 6-7 of my nails. I even tried to help her thru the process by saying theyre not glued on all the way so if you need to snatch it off and try again go ahead. She responded by saying Im gonna put acrylic on it so itll be okay youll see. It kinda pissed me off because I had already told her that I work around a lot of water so I need my nails to be secure. She still couldnt take the hint. She didnt use a clean paper towel to clean the acrylic brush which resulted in a brown piece of bathroom towel stuck in between the gap in my nails and the false nail. ---this young lady put acrylic on top of that brown bathroom towel spec and fixed it onto my nail lmao! D-I-R-T-Y. One of my friends was instructed by another nail tech to take her nails off by herself, and after she decided to not get hair nails done (because she saw how bad ours were) the nail tech tried to charge her $10 for taking her own nails off! Lmao! Not to mention, we walked out two hours later without so much as a top coat of polish because we stopped them from finishing because we were so upset with the foundation and building of our nails. To simply put it, they were raggedy as hell and couldve been better secured down by myself at home. We still paid (because were not ratchet enough to flip tables and whatnot), but we went next door to the tattoo shop (apparently the nail salon is managed by the tattoo guy in the tattoo shop next door to the salon?) …we told him our issues, he even went so far as to take pictures to send to his boss and took down our contact info. They told us to come back the next day so they could figure it out we havent heard from them since. If you see this nail salon RUN! FAST! We paid both nail techs $25 and we have to turn around and get them soaked off today. Couldve saved my money and bought a pizza instead. (I cant put pictures on here otherwise I would)

Man idk who the hell out trained the workers when it comes down to doing nails but it was ass backwards... When the lady was putting my nails on with SUPPOSEDLY nail glue my nails kept coming off, she act act like she didnt know what she was doing with the aralyic (I think Im spelling that right), when she trimmed it down with the machine thingy it was to much pressure on my nails, then when it was time to put the Polish on she put the CLEAR POLISH on first then the color and called it a day hell I thought it was supposed to be the color on first and then the CLEAR POLISH smfg .. My nails are horrible and uneven and all I want was a full set which was $25 when I couldve got it for $15 downtown .. I do not recommend this place at all they need to be replaced, retrained, and torn down ... #SorryButNotSorry #YeaDetWay..

First The African American employee is disrespectful me and my daughter went there for her birthday, just horrible that lady has a nasty as attitude and thinks to get a tip my other daughter that got her nails done went to wash her hands little girl sit down and stop playing in the water ur hands aint dirty was what she says like tf the daughter that had he birthday that day was also disrespected my daughter was tired and she said mom can we go home the lady interrupts me and says no dont take away my money cuz you got your 20 dollar nails done and not only is she disrespectful she does a horrible job both my daughters and mine were cricked then she has people steal nail polish for her from other nail stores and she happily buys it this place is so bad I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN!
