I never write reviews, but this is well deserved.I am always nervous about getting my haircut and going to new barbers, but the first time I came here Dwayne cut my hair and it was the best haircut Ive ever had. So, I came back for a second time. This time Khalil cut and it looked great as well. I honestly cant recommend this place enough. Not only was the haircut amazing, but the great conversations helped pass the time by. Ill be coming back for as long as theyre in business.

I was recently at a conference that was held in Cobb Galeria. I had a couple small windows where I thought that I might be able to squeeze in a haircut and a beard trim. I searched google to find the closest barber and discovered this one. I arrived a few minutes before they were open and the barber already had clientele coming in, which i perceived as a good indicator as to the skill of the barber. I was very warmly and quickly greeted. We discussed what I wanted and I made an appointment to return later in the day. After a change in my schedule as no longer able to get trimmed up. I was able to observe the barber stying other clients and could easily tell that he puts He was very understanding and communicated one of the most sincere desires to help. Based off of this experience I am literally trying to force my schedule to put me back here. Thank you for everything. I will return.

I love great service & attention to details and Upscale delivered both with style and finesse! I have been getting a cut every week for the past 14 years ( just turned 34) so I’m very particular and a huge critic in this field. I must say that Dwayne is surely one of the best hairstylists (if not the best) I have had work on my hair and beard and trust me I had many great ones both in NYC and Miami. He took his time and went over every detail on my beard, mustache and hair. I was surprised to find out that he was also top of the line with the scissors at the end when he cut my hair slightly short. It took 90 minutes total and Dwayne was friendly and conversational the entire time. We talked about many things including sports and different cities and culture. Overall, you will miss out on a unique 5 star experience if you do not make the trip to this gem while in Atlanta! I’m definitely glad i did and I will surely return when I’m in here next time.

Whenever I travel to Atlanta I make sure to schedule a grooming session with the owner/grooming specialist. I never had a barber take an invested interest in not just giving me a clean shave but a total grooming experience. Nose hair removal, ear hair removal, hot towel treatments and a facial to boot. I left feeling like a new man and I had an extra swagger the remainder of the day. I suggest this place to anyone not totally satisfied with their current barber. Good service, just didnt get the cut I wanted for the price. The gentleman must of been must have been new and not the owner. Im disappointed based off the ratings that Google gave the shop. Its Black-owned so I wont bash it, but I cant say that Ill go back based off the type of cut I received. I wish I could upload pictures so as not to be viewed as hating vs speaking the truth. It is what is, I still wouldnt suggest others avoid the place as it has a cool atmosphere and staff. Maybe it just wasnt my night.

KJ is very personable and professional. Their service is above the rest( he offered me a variety of refreshments and Carissa had my eight year old son talking more than I can get him to converse). I haven’t even got to the haircut itself which was done with precision and patience. Do yourself a favor and try out this remarkable business and you will not be disappointed.

Called ahead of time asked if we could walk in and get seen he said yes, get there 10 minutes later. There was only ONE Barber there in the middle of a hair cut. Gets done with this person starts on another person after telling my boyfriend it would only be 20 minutes. So he keeps waiting and someone else walks in and goes is KJ here employee says no. Then a guy comes out of the back and takes the person that JUST walked in instead of my boyfriend. That had been waiting for an hour and 23 minutes now. So needless to say we will not ever be returning. Would have been different if they where honest and said it will be an 1 1/2 minutes wait. So they do not value people’s time at all. So disappointed. The reviews are the only reason why we choose this place.

The best barbershop Ive ever been to. All the barbers know what theyre doing and take pride in their work. Theyll make sure your line up is as clean as humanly possible. Even though I cut my own hair, I still spend the money to go get lined up and shaved here.

Let me just start off by saying that the person who put 1 star is either competition or unstable. This place is 1st class all the way. Myself and two fellow coworkers that were in town for work all got hot shaves and haircuts here. I searched online for a creditable place for a nice shave and good experience, I found Upscale Barbershop and it had great reviews. The website said that Upscale barbershop opened at 10 am, I arrived at 10:25am and there was no one in the Barbershop. I called the number listed online and someone answered, I asked” Are you open for service today ?” The answer was” yes but we will be opening at 11am today. I was kind of puzzled because the website said 10 and I was told 11am by the person whom I talked to on the phone. That’s a hour difference and incorrect information on the website.I wait around to 11 and go back into the building around 11:05 and the Barbershop was still close. I wait around to 11:22 am and there is still no one there to open the Barbershop. I call the same number back off the website and there was no answer. It seemed to me like the calls were being screened, due to the fact that I called the number an hour prior to see in they were open.This is very unprofessional and left a bad impression for someone trying something new and willing to pay money for a service that is supposed to be top notch.

Sometimes we can read one thing and what you receive is different, not here. I was expecting to get just a cut, what i actually received was a awesome experience and a great cut.
