I was impressed with the shop and the environment. I asked for a drop fade and put that in my notes when I booked online. The barber cut the top of my head perfectly, beard on point! Showed me the mirror but had my chair turned sideways so I just looked at the front and the beard and was impressed as we carried a conversation. Got home and looked again and he cut the back completely off and gave me a regular fade but the top looks like the beginning of the drop fade. I tipped $25 bucks because I care about people who provide service to the community. He could have spoken up so that I could have gotten something else since he mistakenly cut off my hair. It’s my fault for trusting who I thought was a professional but wow I expected more. I had planned on coming back but can’t trust it.

Swag shop was absolutely a disaster, stay away from this place. I made appointment weeks in advance with Rob the barber. Once I flew in for my appointment I arrived 45 minutes early because it would have been my first time only to find out at time of my appointment he wasnt going fo come in at all. Another barber had to call and see where he was, thats how I found out. Dam shame, definitely dont follow this business model if you truly want repeat customers.

Its a nice place. Not at all the barber shop vibe I was expecting/hoping for. Both my boys have their hair cut by barbers back home. Lines and fades on this trip were weak. Its clear that only one hair type is cut here, which is perfectly fine. Totally worth the trip if youre a RTJ fan. Glad we made the trip, but we wont be back for any haircuts.

Killer Mike is true icon genius and best rapper in Atlanta. Usually I go to many barbershop places I can think of rather its in West End mall or Camp Creek marketplace. Never thought of getting my haircut in Edgewood downtown after seeing Trigger Warning on Netflix I decided gave this a place a try. I cant say how much I really do appreciate all the barbers who worked there are very good people. Got this one barber her name is KWeen she is such sweetheart and always happy to see me. Big s/o Killer Mike you the reason why I have my very own barber and to show my appreciation to your business. 🙌🏾💪🏾

Not happy with the cut. I told him what I wanted and he did something different. Really simple I asked him for a fade that’s Not what I got .then he pushed my hairline back not happy. He was the 4th chair down from the door. Next to the girl He said he’s been cutting for 20 years no way !!! I told him just stop I’m I went to another barber.

Never got such a clean cut in my life. Ernest and the rest of the crew take care of you like youre their own. The wait can take a bit, but thats only because they pay so much attention to detail. This is where Ill be getting cut from now on.

Don’t usually right google reviews, had to after experience. Came later in the day and there was one barber there. I have a personal barber I’ve been going to for a while, but I’m a college student and his cuts are expensive to be getting cut every week, but he gets me right every time. I am very weary of going to new barbers because my hair has to be cut a certain way for my lining to look good and also I’m not trying to get my haircut messed up because I’ve experienced where some barbers give you the haircut they want and not what you tell them to do. Long story short after getting a cut the next day it looked like I never got one. Lol this is what I get for trying a new barber, I won’t be back.

I supported this shop because its owned by Killer Mike and his wife Shay. I made an appointment or thought I made an appointment online with one of the barbers (forgot his name). I arrived 30 minutes early but when it came time for my appointment he had other clients stacking up and waiting so I had to sit and wait. I waited for 3 and half hours only for him to push me off on another barber TeeHyphen. I eventually left the shop with a decent haircut 4 hours later.I will definitely support again when Im in town but will schedule will Mario.

I went through all the trouble of going on their website setting up an appointment entering my card info and all my contact information just for the barber Terry to tell me I had to wait for people ahead of him when I walked in on time for MY appointment! Extremely unprofessional and exactly why black business fail. You need to honor appointments regardless of who walked in first if I set a specific time to get cut it’s my turn

Go see Natalie Nicole if you need a fresh style. Im not a pretty dude by any means. Natalie gave me the SWAG once and I got more numbers in one week than I had in over a year. Month later, I knew I had to go back. Shes got me hooked. Shes got the fix I need. Shes got an opening and even waits when I get stuck in traffic. So I go, get SWAGGED up again. Next day, at work. Co-worker been beefing with me for 2 years. Comes outta her office to talk about how nice I look and how great my new haircut looks. She really liked it. Bottom line TL;DR; is that if you dont quite feel like you have enough mojo Natalie Nicole is your girl and if you keep doing the same thing with the same results. Thats a mistake.

I was not impressed with this place. I set an appointment and the barber (Terry Stanley) who never confirmed it with me and when I arrived I was told that he was leaving. Ernest Hood did however step up and take me and my son. I want to purchase some SWAG branded shirts and they dont carry them at the shop (I like hand to hand purchases, NOT INTERNET). I came from Texas to see this spot and it was just ok, nothing special that I couldnt get back home. I was possibly expecting to much from my trip to this establishment.

The only reason I gave em four stars is because they charge an extra $10 to the original shape-up/lining price ($15) if you want temples tapered because its considered a cut, which I think is crazy; I have locs, so I never get a full cut, just a lining. Otherwise, Terry (T) is awesome, nice, and pays attention to detail. Every time I walk out, I look so good, I should be on Love & Hip Hop. Overall, the shop is welcoming, *and they accept debit cards if you dont have cash. They get crowded, so be sure to make an appointment online (sometimes youll still be waiting awhile if you arrive on time because they get busy). Also, be sure to park in the lot diagonal to the shop across because its free, *not the one directly across from the shop because it costs. The parking-pay machine doesnt give change, so always pay with a card if you *have to pay. (I learned the hard way by giving a $20 bill to pay for 3-hour parking ($5), and I didnt realize it didnt give change until after I put the bill in).A plus is its next door to K. Michelles restaurant, Puff & Petals, so, if youre feelin yourself, you can walk next door and have good food and drinks.

It’s either a hit or miss. Either you’ll get the haircut of your life or get something so trashy you’ll think you didn’t even get a haircut. Which is very awful because they have good hospitality and are very nice, but like I said it’s either hit or miss and pricy when you might look like you didn’t get a haircut at the end!

Came in for a quick clean up, and left with a choppy mess the first time. The sides of my noggin were multiple lengths, ears and neck were sloppy, and have a big ol scrape on the back of my neck.I notified management of this bad cut and they offered to fix it for me the next day at my convenience. Maybe I should’ve waited another day, cuz when I went back to the shop, the same fella cut my hair and it’s still not right. Had to take care of ears at home.Service otherwise was great - the guys are friendly and welcoming - and the prices are reasonable.Can’t say I’ll be going back.

Maybe it was an off day or the barber was new.. somehow lost my hairline in the shop. Cant find it. lmao told the barber to take a little of the top and I damn near have a buzz cut now (no wonder dude didnt spin me toward the mirror). Still trying to find this fade too. I dont know how nearly an hour and a half in a chair led to this. spent 60 minutes working on the fade so I thought it was gonna be butter.. where the fade at though?? no joke.. spent 20 minutes working the spot over my left ear..how the guide line still there? looks Im wearing a helmet 😂 felt like dude was gonna dig a hole in my scalp. damn... This is the 2nd worst haircut I have ever gotten. if you forgot what I asked for then tell me or at least give me a crisp line up..

I wont lie, the only reason I picked this spot is because of the owner but man did they drop the ball.I was stress and need to freshen up. Listening to Trigger warning, I decided to give this place a try. I booked my appointment online Thursday night. I picked the wash, cut, shave and added a neck massage. Basically every service they offer with the first person available. I get a text saying my request is submitted. Okay, I can support local business and treat myself to something nice. Win-win.The next day no word from them on my appointment. I give the store a call in the afternoon, wondering if my appointment didnt go through. The woman that answers the phone asks how she can help. I tell her Im checking on an appointment I booked. She then asks the time, of the appointment and then the person I booked with. I dont know, I check my email and tell her KFresh. Never asks my name, I could be someone else than who I am. She informs she cant confirm or deny I have an appointment. Hes in charge of his own schedule... Okay, I dont care who Im with just want that time. She tells me shell check with him and call me back. Okay, strange but its Friday.Fast forward to Sunday about an hour before my appointment. Im getting ready to go when I get a text that my appointment is confirmed. Now, they charge half the service if you cancel less than three hours of the appointment. I wonder to myself if I had to cancel what would happen. I was planning on it but they lock me in with no time to change my mind. I check google maps to get there, Google says its closed today. I call thinking this was a mistake, the young lady informs me they are open just by appointment only today.I get there on time, it just me, one guy in the chair, the guy cutting his hair and woman. Enter the place, I get a very cold greeting. The woman asks how she can help. I say I have an appointment, doesnt ask my name. So, If you want a free cut, just show up and say you have an appointment. She tells me KFresh is finishing up and will be with me. I sit down. The young lady leaves. So its me, KFresh and his client.Now forty minutes go by before he finishes up this client. I get going a couple or even ten minutes over but forty. While Im sitting there a bunch of kids comes in, like 10-15-year-olds looking for a hair cut. KFresh says hell get to them and have a seat. Im thinking thats odd since my services are supposed to be an hour long. KFresh finishes the guy cut and looks at the kids. Telling them He would get to them but his appointment showed up. Starting to feel like I crashed some event Im not welcome at all.He tells me to sit in the chair(without cleaning up) and ask what we are doing. At this point, Im more stress and try to make a joke about my look. Hes not being sociable and I can tell he clearly wants me gone. He then takes a phone call, it only lasts a couple of minutes but with the forty minute and the cold reception, Im looking at the door. It then dawns on me, he doesnt know what I was getting. I use to work in a massage joint at the front desk. I know how people are supposed to be check-in and how you hand of the client. He comes back and asks if I want a wash. I tell him Yeah, thats what I paid for. KFresh You havent paid for a thing yet. I tell him I got the wash, cut, shave and massage. He informs me there is no massage. Thats what I click on. He then says that services is coming later and its a hand massage and something he doesnt do. I dont really care if I get the massage but Im done. I told him Im calling it.With relief, he says Cool. Gets the apron off and before I can get my coat tells the next kid to hop in. Doesnt apologies or any customer services at all. I dont care if youre appointment only or not but have more staff there to handle everyones needs.Killer Mike, I dont know if you will see this but I took your challenge and your staff failed. I never write reviews but this was too much to let go. Avoid this place!

I set an appointment for 2:15, and the barber Terry took a another personal appointment over mine. Saying he didnt confirm mine when I received a confirmation and reminder text.Everything about the shop was unprofessional.

First off I mess with killer mike Im from Memphis so I wanted SUPPORT homey since I live in the city he from but whoever the barber is far left last chair he cant cut periodtttt !! He took a hour and a half on my brother hair messed up his line and kept talking on the phone for 30$$$ wow I was expecting more seriously mike please talk to these folks they are a representation of you bro
