Had not been to a hair cutter in a year. Went to The Commodore specifically for Chris Williams on a recommendation. Mr. Williams designed a hair cut for me, a classic bob, and it was fantastic. Ive been going to The Commodore for a while now, to get shape-ups for my undercut. As a woman it can feel uncomfortable to walk in to a barber shop but Aaron and the rest of the staff really make you feel welcomed. Always a great experience!

The Commodore is hands down the best place in Atlanta to get a haircut, beard trim, or whatever you may need. I’ve been going to this shop for close to 3 years, and have never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly, very talented, and they all really care about quality haircuts & experiences. You will no doubt walk out feeling like a new person. Really started caring about my hair 5 years ago and was searching for a few years before stumbling on this place. Zach Neptune is my barber and is the absolute man hands down. Doesn’t matter how long I’ve been in I can always count on him to check in on me not just as a barber, but as a friend. The professionalism done by this shop far exceeds any shop I’ve been to in Atlanta and I’ve been to a lot of them. Not only do they cut your hair, they give you an experience like no other shop in Atlanta and possibly even the southeast dare I say. They really work to understand your growth patterns and explain the science behind the hair and how it works and what they’re doing while still giving you everything you ask for in your cut. Been in Zach’s chair for 2 years now and I haven’t been to another barber since he started cutting my hair. The price is well worth the quality you get and the friendships your barbers build with you. They don’t just cut hair, they take genuine interest in your life and help you actually understand your own hair. 100/10. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Have gone here 3 times. Great service and end result. Rob (owner) cut my hair the third time and seems like a great guy. Has a young family of 5 he is providing for. I moved to Atlanta from Kentucky a few months back and hopped around between barbershops before hearing about Commodore ATL. Huge fan of this place. They have a super clean, chill vibe and best haircuts in Atlanta. They take their time to perfect each haircut, which is genuinely all you want when sitting in a chair- that the haircut looks good and it’s done right. You can’t go wrong with any of the barbers here!

Nowadays after my move, I will rarely be visiting the Chamblee location--but if you plan to visit Chamblee, I highly recommend booking with Anna Marie.My go-to every time at Westside, however, is Aaron. PS, hes also quite the coffee aficionado. The Commodore does mens hair the way mens hair should be done. The barbers at Commodore are highly skilled, detail oriented, and genuine, which makes for a unique grooming experience that is both sophisticated and honest. Commodore goes out of their way to ensure that each time I get my hair cut, Im treated well and my ideas are heard (but kindly adjusted to fit my head and hair better if needed).Zach is my usual barber, and hes a phenomenal guy. He actually takes time to listen to my ideas, but being a true craftsman, makes professional and skilled recommendations on how I can achieve my desired look in a way thats best for my hairs longevity and health.I cannot recommend this shop enough. Commodore gives the modern man an articulate, specific, and stylish way to express themself through their own head of hair.

Great place to get your haircut. Aaron cares about your hair, and hell make it look great.If it says anything, I trust him to just do my hair however he feels looks good. And it works.

It isnt worth including an appointment scheduler on your site if you are unable to hold to the appointment times. I fully understand things happen that cause delays, but a :30 min delay on a Saturday is unacceptable. That isnt a delay. It is poor management and scheduling. Pretty good place with a fair number of barbers and good product, just not the level of service for this price point.

Cory and Aaron are amazing, cool, hip, barber shop. Have never had a bad experience. The owner has done a great job with the aesthetics and barbers.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by this dude for over 10 years now from Tampa to now in Atlanta. I’ve seen him work for another barbershop 💈 owner and I’ve seen him build out his own ideas 💡 of stellar creation with the The Commodore Tonsorial Parlor . I’ve seen him sand barber 💈 poles for hours, bring antique barber chairs back to new life, etc and all the behind the scene attention to details with his concept THE COMMODORE. It’s more than just some classic barbershop. He’s traveled 🧳 and taken his pro barber stylist team all over the world 🌎 from LA, NYC, Boston, Amsterdam, London, etc for ongoing training to remain the best barbers and barbershop in Atlanta. Never in my life have I seen anyone as good as him in this arena because he’s so passionate about what he does. If he hadn’t moved to Atlanta from Tampa I was on the verge of flying 🛩round trip to Tampa just to get my mean foil fade. So, just a brag on my best friend Rob Hopper the creator and owner of now 2 locations in Atlanta in Chamblee and in the Westside Provisions District. The Westside is the best-side is what they say and it’s my favorite honestly. Regardless, they are both the best barbershops in the Atlanta area and in the USA 🇺🇸 in my opinion and in thousands of others opinions. This is the spot! First visited the Chamblee location, and now luckily have a closer location on the Westside. Both shops have a great, clean feel, and all the guys add to the overall awesome atmosphere. You’re immediately greeted at the door, and offered something to drink. I’ve seen Brandon M. each time, and the guy is an artist. I’ve never had such a meticulous cut—I mean trim your lawn with kitchen scissors, meticulous. Eyeballing the details on every pass, and confirming the client’s specifics, makes you feel 100% in the right hands. Cannot say enough good things about The Commodore—very highly recommend. I discovered The Commodore after doing a google search for top rated barbershops in Atlanta, and I decided to book an appointment with HERRERA after viewing the shops Instagram page. Upon arrival, I was greeted, given a tour and offered a refreshment.
