Ordered a galaxy S21 June 15, 2021 at 8am and paid over $550 towards the phone via Verizon’s website with help of online Verizon rep and confirmed by Verizon rep that the phone was in stock at the Victra store in Athens Al.. After not receiving notification within the allotted time from Victra that the phone was ready for pickup I went to the store June 15 at 12:30 to inquire. The Rep at the store informed me that they did not have my phone in stock. But that the phone that was in stock was reserved for someone else. I spent the better part of the next 24 hours trying to find out from Verizon when I could get a phone and checking on the order status from Victra. I finally called the call center of Victra June 16 around 330 pm and spoke to Jonathan who informed me that the Athens location had a phone in stock but that my order was cancelled since they didn’t have the phone in stock at the time my order was placed (strange). I decided it was best to drive to the store to get my phone, however upon speaking to the same rep that I spoke to on June 15 I was informed that even though they had a phone that I could not get it because the manager at the store cancelled the order on June 15 since they didn’t have a phone in stock to fulfill my paid order. I explained that I had done everything right and had paperwork with me but was informed that since they are a third party and they cancelled the order the only way to get the phone was pay for it again at the store. And seek a refund with Verizon. I declined that offer since I already paid for it online. I left store quit confused and discouraged with the lack of ability to complete this transaction. I called the Verizon order department to find out what they could do. I was informed that when an order is completed for pickup at a retail store it indicates that the store HAS the phone. Since Victra cancelled the order so they could fulfill another order at the store the only option for me was to cancel the order with Verizon and now have to wait weeks until more phones hit the local stores.Terrible experience.
Wesley W is the best person working there. We went in and had to wait while other employees just stood around and as soon as Wesley clocked in he waited on us. He has the best service and will work with you to get anything fixed. He goes beyond his duties to make sure his customers leave happy.
I have been to this store and the service is outstanding. The young man that helped my friend and I was so helpful. We had an issue getting the phone to sync with the vehicle map system. We had been to Ford who could not figure out the issue. Corry at this store took the time and connected them. It is so nice to find a store with employees that care and go the extra mile.

The prices are absurd! They want to charge about $50 per accessory (screen protector, case, etc..) and you can get the same things on amazon for $10. They try to add on everything possible when you just want to get in and out. It wont be a quick trip so be prepared to spend half an hour in there if you upgrade a phone. Over all, didnt like how the whole process just dragged in and tried to squeeze every dollar. I went with a family member. I use Spectrum and so glad I do..
So, I cracked the tempered glass screen protector on my phone that is 2 years old. First, so glad I bought the screen protector from Verizon because it has a lifetime warranty. Second, glad the screen protector did its job.I dreaded going into the store to find out what painful process I would have to go through to prove I bought the phone and screen protector from them, find out where I had to send the broken protector, etc.To my surprise, walked right in, they pulled the broken protector and replaced with a new one. Didn’t even ask my name. In and out in 4 minutes. That’s how you do it folks, top notch customer service! Much appreciated!

I had to go in to get a new sim card, and get my new phone activated. The associate was able to get it done quickly and effortlessly. She also had to attend an irritational customer that another associate was assisting. She handled it with ease and got me set up at the same time.

I had a great experience with Verizon Athens. My phone had died....totally wiped out. I thought I had lost everything. Chase immediately started checking out my phone...very kind. He traced a lot of things and after a discussion I decided to replace my phone rather than take a chance that this would happen again. I got a Great phone and a beautiful case. Chase was able to restore most of my contacts and emails. My Facebook came back and I was so happy to fund that most of my photos were saved there. Thank you, Chase, for a great ending to what I thought was a disaster.

So Wesley was awesome. Answered all questions and was great however after spending a $1000 on a new IPhone 12 pro then having to spend another $115 on chargers and a case that stinks. And I don’t even get the block with my IPhone 12 which is another $50.

So they are now charging you 29$ to transfer your phone to a new phone. Just bogus! After talking to a Verizon associate I found out that this store is privately owned and will charge you for extra things that the other stores won’t or can’t charge you. I will not be going to this store any longer.
Haldriuanna helped me figure out the best phone and plan for my needs. I couldnt make up my mind, so she ran the costs for different phones and plans. She was very attentive and didnt make me feel rushed. She made suggestions for different phones as well as additional products but wasnt pushy about any of it, which I really appreciate.
Wesley has dealt with me and fiancé amazingly, he has been informative and patient and he deserves every bit of 6 stars. Last time he went out of his way to drive to another store and get an item I was purchasing(liquid glass). This time around he went above and beyond getting us the best deal in a rough situation. He was exceptional to deal with. The only reason this store gets a 4 star is slight lack of inventory. Color wise. The past 2 times they didn’t have the color I wanted on 2 different brands on phones. One Samsung one apple. Other than that this is my preferred store to come to. As I have been coming here for 3 years
I stopped by the Athens location frustrated and upset at myself after I dropped and shattered my iPhone 6s. Amber and Darren were so helpful and so easy to work with. I left the store feeling much better than when I walked in the store. Purchased the iPhone 11 and I couldn’t be any happier! Amber and Darren are awesome!

I needed some kind of internet source since I solely rely on it for my work and getting internet installed is pretty difficult right now considering the pandemic issues happening now. We went to this store to see what we could find and the representative who greeted us was more than helpful! She listened carefully and was very informative of the product (jetpack) that we ended up buying. She was also very concerned about getting us the best possible price and deal, which I feel is rare to find these days. I was very pleased with the service and will be happy to return if I ever need anything again!

We have been CUSTOMERS of Verizon for YEARS! THE ONLY reason why we stay with them is that they have great connection Service everywhere. No or very little dropped calls. Otherwise, WE would NOT remain as a Customer of this company. They have SO MANY AREAS that need IMPROVEMENT!! TOO MANY to list on here. For what we pay each month? We should receive MUCH better Customer Service(s). WAY TOO expensive to buy or replace a phone or parts. Maybe ONE DAY another company will take over and bring Cellular Services to a more affordable and comfortable experience. Until then we feel STUCK with them!!
Horrible experience. Will not use again. Get everything in writing. Verify anything they tell you IN WRITING (signed by them). Do you homework on prices (they ELEVATE them above MSRP. They are not a Verizon Corporate store so they dont have to follow the same rules it seems.

Worst customer service ever!! I walked in and not one person acknowledged me. I sat down and waited for about 10 minutes and still no one acknowledged me. There was one girl standing up front not doing anything, so I walked up to her and told her all I needed was a phone case and screen protector. She said we don’t have the case but I do have a screen protector. I said I will take it. She laid it on the counter and then proceeded to talk to the other employees and left me standing there for another 5 minutes. I left without what I needed! Went to Bestbuy and got excellent customer service and a 25% discount!!

Thanks to Toney and the gang at Verizon in Athens. Monday, my phone went to hell. No physical damage, no reason, but the screen just sort of ate its self except for a small section at the top. It was working fine but if you cant see it, you cant use it right? So, Monday after my morning at the court house for a client, I headed to the phone store. These guys could not have helped me more, went far beyond exceptions... backed up my phone to the cloud, loaded my stuff into a temp phone, with a smile, then told me to come back when my new phone arrived, and the very next day I got the phone, went back to the store and they restored it for me. It was not a perfect job, I had to reload some apps but having 6,000 contacts in my phone back and useful was a blessing. Just wonderful service.

My husband and I have walked in here and absolutely hardly any displays of phones and equipment and no prices of phones on the very few they have in the store. So there is a lot of wasted space. Also my husband and I have been here for five minutes now and there are workers helping 2 customers but yet we are standing here.I also forgot but you need to start making your employees stay home when they are sick! The girl who was helping couldnt breath at all and she was coughing so much and almost unable to Talk. She needed to be home taking medication and getting better and not at work. Now my husband is sick with the same thing.

If you need a new phone, new sim card, screen protector or to ask a general question, this place is fine. If you need to solve an issue with your phone or account, avoid this place. They will pressure you into spending more money. Not fixing the problem or resolving the issue, but spending more money. They tried to tell me I had a virus in the kernel on my phone (Android). To most, this would sound legitimate, scary and would warrant replacing the phone (as I was told would need to happen). Luckily for me I work with hardware and embedded Linux on a daily basis. My phone had a purely a hardware issue (still needed replacing but had it just been software they were trying to pull one over on me).
They are on top of all of it.
Purchased iPhone 7+ in 2017 and was convinced that I should buy the protector screen from them because it had a lifetime warranty on the screen only. Today, I tried to get it replaced only to find out they no longer carried the screens because of inventory issues and I have to contact a web site with the receipt and damaged protector to get another. So the lifetime deal is if Verizon maintains inventory. Try to sell me another accessory Verizon. Overpriced for nothing in return. Also, asked to find out why I could not sent or receive pics to Android phones from my iPhone. He was unable to fix the problem and said I must call phone support. He also reset my iPhone and lost the special wallpaper, ringtones, fingerprint info, notification settings and much more. Total incompetence. Totally upset.

Couldnt answer any of my questions about repairing my phone. Just kept trying to sell me over priced items I didnt need. Just went straight to the highest priced item without even giving me other options until I asked. Go to a corporate store dont waste youre time here.
I recently bought a tablet at the Verizon retailer Athens, Al. The employee was attempting to show of his multitasking, handling 5 other customers while failing at taking care of my deal. I was offered a tablet to buy for 30.00, I purchased and told him I would only use wifi and did not want cell service. He said fine and never told me because he was so distracted of a monthly charge. I returned to the store and asked and got what I thought was a full credit. Not the case, they billed a early disconnect fee of 175.00 and refused to do anything about it. These people have lost my business and hope anyone that has considered using them, will find a different location to do business. They are a rip off!
People working there, they dont have any comments sense..I bought 3 phone from there and I needed some help so I did call them and connie she answered phone and behave rudely and transfer my phone.i had to wait n wait..Disappointed...I will not do the business with them again..
