My 15 month oldβs first dentist appt went really great today! π He loved the train in the waiting room, staff was friendly and professional, answered all our questions, and the little toothbrush bag they send home with him is so cute. Thanks guys! We look forward to coming back soon! π¦· πͺ₯ π¨π»ββοΈ
My daughter isnβt a little toddler. Sheβs 9 but has lots of fear around dentistry. This office made a huge difference for her! The therapy dog & the warm welcome made her feel much more comfortable. Also the hygienist explained each thing she was doing in a very kind way, which my daughter liked also.
I was very happy with the whole experience! Everyone was so nice and so kid friendly. My son left there saying he cant wait to come back, so thank you very much.
Highly recommend. Everyone is always supper nice and just great all around. They are clean and quick but thorough. We never have to wait long and Dan the dentist, is always pleasant and give all the kids a coin dollar
All three of my kids have been going here and they are so amazing !!! They are so sweet and help in anyway possible. Amazing dentist for children 100% recommended.
Our insurance plan changes with our income and our kiddo wasnt able to be seen by them for a time. When we tried to return, they wouldnt see us as a returning or a new patient because thats their policy. I cannot imagine what reasoning is behind a policy like that. If youre not 100% loyal to them, youre banned? Was told they sent a letter stating that - which we never received and they had a wrong address in their system so Im not sure how we could have received it anyway. Im not into the weird, dismissive, and rude service I got on the phone - Im just trying to get my kid in for a cleaning not be shamed for being unloyal to your practice.
We love this practice! They are so kind and relaxed. Going to the dentist is a breeze. We love the staff, the atmosphere, the electric train that circles the office and the new therapy dog, Maggie! Thank you Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry!!
This is the most amazing dental experience you will ever have. The atmosphere, staff, and level of medical service are superior. Dr. Knechtel and his team have thought of everything from a working train track on the ceiling to TVs and a gold dollar coin after every visit. My kids love going to the dentist and itβs because they have had such a great experience here. I love that we get a picture every time we come to Mark the occasion and remind us of our next visit as well.
We had both of our kids going there. The dentist seemed nice. Then they put my son in a blue restraint, which has traumatized him and he hates the dentist now. We spent thousands of dollars at this dentist, I called to make an appointment for my daughter and I was told we were kicked out of the practice for missed appointments... which is strange because we didnt make them. They made them. How are we responsible for appointments they made and didnt tell us about?? We found a much better dentists office. I dont recommend this dentist office to anyone!!
We had such a wonderful experience today with Dr. Dan and staff! Everyone was amazing and made my 4 year old very much at ease. Thanks to the entire staff! Will definitely recommend and return !
Horrible experience at this dentist which traumatized my daughter. Please read the many REAL 1-star reviews about this dentist, as he does offer incentives so that people will leave glowing reviews to balance out the bad. The dentist here yelled at us and forced our 4-year old daughter to stay still though she was crying and terrified. Beware.
We always have a GREAT experience. My girls are always excited to go to the dentist, and cheer when I tell them itβs time for a check up. That speaks volumes to me. ALL of the staff are amazing and Dr. Dan is great! Thanks for helping my girls have great experiences at the dentist that will last a lifetime!
I love the staff and Dr. Dan. My 3 children love going to the Dentist and that says ALOT.
So far, so good! I will revise if needed as we progress.
I had my sons there about a month ago. The staff seemed nice and all till they tried to get x-rays of one of my sons and traumatized him and that wasnt the end they even tried to hold him down and give him gas so they could get them needless to say they didnt get them... Now he is terrified of dentist now and even regular doctors when they try to touch his mouth. I will not be taking any of my sons there anymore
I took my son for his checkup and first time dentist experience the staff was wonderful friendly and was excellent with my child the answered all my question and the dentist is wonderful
The dentist is not friendly and comes off extremely narcissistic. My son (2) has cavities and he made me feel like a horrible mom because of it. Another time there I was trying to help by telling me son it was okay, and that it was almost over and the dentist straight up chewed my head off for trying to help! He would only suggest one route of treatment, went to another dentist and they suggested another treatment. Best decision to move dentist. Worst dentist ever.
Very nice office! We drive an hour and a half to get there and it is absolutely worth it!
We love Dr. Dan!! His office is always fun and welcoming and the staff are always patient and and happy to interact with kids!
Ive taken my son to this practice for years. Although he is 12 now, he doesnt want to go anywhere else! The hygienists and assistants have always been very kind and Dr Dan always has a little cool reward for the child after his tooth exam.
My 5 year old daughter had a dental infection and it was causing her quite a bit of pain. DR. Dan called me back on a sunday and told me to bring her at 7:45 the next morning. She didnt even have an appt. He made sure she was cared for immediately. No wait. The staff were so supportive and nurturing for my daughter. Great team.
Wonderful staff. Very gentle with my girls. They took their time and explained everything in a way they would understand. I couldnt be any happier with them.
Both my girls go here amazing place.. Love Dr.dan will not go anywhere elseβ€
Really pleased with our first visit with my one year old daughter. The staff and dentist were very accommodating and welcoming to us. Presented options, very knowledgeable, and provided great care. Thank you.
We love Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry!!! This was our first visit after seeing different dentists previously. Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry will definitely be our forever dentist! Everyone there is amazing, caring, and patient!!! It really shows that they genuinely care about each and every patient. I am very satisfied with this office and would recommend them to anyone! Thank you Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry!
I have a 3 year old and we just had our second visit. My child has had great experiences both times. My child actually looked forward to going this past visit. Dr. Dan and the staff is so friendly, make us and our child feel comfortable and give good advice on how to keep our childs mouth healthy. The train is a big hit with my child and all the extra effort they put into making it fun for kids. I highly recommend them.
We love Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry! The staff are all so friendly and really take the time to make the dental visit fun. I have a six year old who LOVES going to the dentist and an almost two years old who isnt quite sure about it yet (but loves the train that travels along the ceiling throughout the office!) With each of my children Dr. Dan and the staff take the time to talk with us explaining what they will be doing and even what it will feel like. I am so glad we chose Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Dan and staff are always so friendly and welcoming to me and my daughter. They are thorough, accomadating and efficient. So happy to have such a great dentist and staff for my daughter (3 years old).
I loved this dentist at first, friendly staff and they give the kids cute little gifts and a silver dollar each visit. My son started there when he was 3 years old and went every six months. We were told at each visit that his teeth were βperfectβ and he never had a cavity... well, we went for his routine visit at age 5 1/2 and were told he had EIGHT cavities and he needed TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS worth of dental work. Ironically it was just after we dropped Medicaid and had dental insurance. I was told that they cannot fill baby teeth and that they need to put him to sleep and put caps on all his back teeth. I felt this was very extreme, as I had fillings when I was a child and my teeth are fine. I got a second opinion and was told that his teeth CAN be filled and that was not necessary to have him put to sleep. They also said if his teeth were that bad, they should have seen it way sooner. I requested records and they βforgotβ to send them. I do not recommend this dentist if you want to avoid spending a ridiculous amount of money for unnecessary dental work.
Wonderful atmosphere and kind staff. I was able to take both my children back at the same time which really helps when making appointments. My oldest son has sensory issues and they were very accommodating to him. We will be going back for both my sons regularly appointments. Highly recommend this office.
My son has been going to Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry for over a year and he/we love them!! You are NOT just a patient account number here. They know your name when you come and have recognized us after just a few visits. Christy spent time talking to my LO about things he likes while also telling him exactly what she is doing while cleaning his teeth! She is awesome! Thankful for how on top of things this clinic is!
Dr. Knechtel and his team are fabulous! I was anxious as a parent, but they eased my anxiety from the time we walked in. They were very patient, polite, and professional. I highly recommend this office!
Although we absolutely adore Dr. Dan, we have waited an hour past our appointment time every single time, and we are always sure to arrive early. I have started asking how behind they are, and am often told 10 minutes. Not true. Made an appt elsewhere. We will miss Dr. Dan! :(
Horrible. Had an appointment there for my kid, we paid. Than they scheduled an appointment without our knowledge, after this I called maybe a year later for my son and they said he had never been and missed his scheduled appointments. After this we scheduled one we had a death in the family and had to miss it. Being the first and only appointment we missed. Now they wont see my son. Absolutely awful experience!!!!
Thanks to Dr. Dan and his great staff. Very caring dentist and staff.
Weβve taken our children to Dr Dan for the past 5-6 years or so. My wife and I think he and his staff have provided excellent service. Weβve never waited in his office longer than maybe 10 minutes. When one of our daughters was no more than 6 years old he recommended sedating her to put in sealant (this is because it requires keeping the mouth open and still for a long time). We asked if we could try without and he was game to tryβturns out she could manage without. Dr Dan is a pragmatic and matter-of-fact kind of guy and we believe has a good bedside manner. Our girls like him. We had been to one other local pediatric dentistry office and was much more impressed with Dr Dan even though the other place had stellar reviews. We highly recommend Dr Dan.
This Is the greatest pediatric dentistry ever!!! They take the time to get to know the child.. Really nice office and the staff is oh so people friendly and nice. My daughter was so scared of dentist until we started coming here. Its great and the BEST!!!
We have had wonderful experiences here. They do have the bells and whistles which is nice when youre dealing with kids! My three children love the train! It is also nice that there is a TV above the chairs for distraction during cleanings. Their hygentists are all amazing. Very friendly and down to earth. I like the option of having the open room for multiple siblings. They are super accommodating--one of my kids was feeling nervous so they took us to a private room to do the cleanings. My favorite thing about Blue Ridge is that I have never had to wait for more than 5 minutes to be seen. Most often, they call us back to the chair before I can even finish the paperwork! Their text/email system is a huge benefit to me, I never forget appointments because of it. I also REALLY like that they schedule the next appointment for you--no juggling kids and bags and purses and a phone trying to pick a date six months into the future. Each kid gets a little swag bag too--which is a bonus! All in all I highly recommend Blue Ridge!
Blue Ridge Pediatrics is a great dentist. My two kids have been going there since they were six months old, they are now five and three. Every time I have had a concern about their teeth they was able to get me in the office in a reasonable time. The staff there is amazing and makes everyone feel welcome. My kids have no problem going back by them selves. I would recommend BRPD to anyone I know.
My little guy was always afraid to go to the dentist until he started going to this office. Now he absolutely loves going! The staff is friendly and they understand how to explain things to kids on their level and make them feel comfortable!!!
We are forever grateful for the kind staff at Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry. Our daughter had to have 4 teeth extracted. She was so nervous. The staff and Dr. Dan were amazing. Kind words, gentle approach, along with great bedside manners made our child feel at ease. They worked with my crazy schedule and were sweet to follow up with a phone call later that day checking on Lydia and her progress. I highly recommend BRPD for any child! Lydia loves them and we look forward to having our youngest child become a patient. Thank you BRPD!
Had another great visit with Dr. Knechtal and his team today! They were kind, efficient, and quick. :-)
My 2 year old daughter had a good 1st dental visit here. The staff were all friendly and my little girl loved all the goodies she left with. She was made to feel comfortable and was not scared at all. Dr Knechtel was very nice. On a side note, she absolutely loved the train in the waiting area. We will be back.
Dr. Dan and staff at Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry are wonderful!!! They are very patient and kind and address all of my childrens dental needs. They love coming to the dentist now where as before they hated it with other offices. Their favorite part is they get paid to have healthy teeth. The gold dollar coins are a huge hit with our family. Thanks for being so awesome!!! Oh yeah, the office is Always clean and thats a big deal also!!!
Me and my 7 year old son are very pleased with the care from doctor DR. Dan and his staff he is very meticulous in his work while also working the quickest he can to get the job done with out stressing his patience out! Job well done to the staff and DR.Dan
Dont be fooled by the cheerful decor and goodies they give out. It tricked me for awhile until I realized the actual care being given wasnt great. My kids love the train that goes around the ceiling and they give you all kinds of goodies to take home and take cute pics of the kids. But thats all for show, the quality of the actual dental care isnt great. The dentist isnt as friendly and he is clearly too busy and needs some partners which the assistants agree with but he refuses. He failed to tell me my son had cavities LAST YEAR because he said he was waiting for them to get bigger?! So now he tells me my son does have some cavities but we arent going to do anything until they get bigger. I dont like that.Another big problem is how they tell you they accept all insurances. What they mean is they will file it but theyre only in network with Delta so we had to pay $500 out of pocket to learn that lesson. Anyway, Ive been 2-3 times and decided Im not going back. The decor is cute and the assistants are nice but thats about it.
This was my sons first ever dentist appointment..... The service was excellent!!! I was very very impressed.....While we were waiting in the waiting room a little girl about 7 was in there and she was very excited to at the dentist office (at that age I would have been terrified)..... All of the staff was great, helpful, and very kind!! We cant wait for our next appointment.... I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone who is searching for one for their little ones.
This was our first experience with a pediatric dentist. Our 10 yr old came away from the first visit saying Ill go back there! A week later he had to have a tooth pulled. Dr. Dan and his assistant Christy were very compassionate and thorough. Thank you for reassuring the parent as well!
I felt pressured to get dental surgery for my son. I tried calling around to get a second opinion from other dentists but I had a hard time finding any that took Medicaid. Now after the surgery on my only 3 years old son I regret it so much. I wish I could take off the metal on his teeth but they filed down his natural teeth and now it is too late. I look back and think I could have just waited and seen another dentist,..On top of it, the dentist told me that his front teeth would be white after the caps were placed but they are metal with a white painted surface. When I asked him about this, he said that I signed the papers already. However, its more than just the appearance. my son now has trouble eating - something he never had to deal with before. I am hoping this improves over time. Im not sure what to do at this point. In the beginning right after the surgery, he was so sad not understanding what happened. i feel horrible for my babys natural smile that I wont ever see again. Please be careful going here. I think the surgery was pushed because of monetary reasons and because we are seen as not having any money or options due to Medicaid. I hope someone reading this spares the agony and trauma of this life changing decision and thinks everything through before doing this. Metal caps on babies just arent mandatory. Dont be pressured, listen to your motherly instinct instead.
We had a great experience with my sons first visit to the dentist!Everyone was friendly and professional, the wait was nothing, the waiting room was fun for my son for the minute we were in there. The doctor explained everything to me and answered all my questions. The most important thing to me was that my son felt safe, and because he was so young they let him sit on my lap and lay back into the doctors lap while he brushed his teeth and gave him a fluoride treatment. There was a TV on the ceiling above the chair for the older kids that played cartoons.I would recommend them to anyone with kids!
Took my granddaughters. They loved the nurses and dentist. We didnt have to wait long, they took great care of my granddaughters. The staff was amazing. I would recommend them to everyone.
I, like some of the other parents, appreciate the fact that I can come back with my son during his checkup. So far, All of my sons dentist experiences have been So very positive! My son, is not nervous or anxious about going to the dentist and I Love that, for him! He also Loves the little pouch of stickers, toothbrush, and toothpaste he gets at every visit! Thanks!
I was referred to Dr. Dan and his staff and though we live 2 hours away Iβd drive 5 if I had to!! Dr. Dan and his staff have made going to the dentist a wonderful experience for my little girl and she loves being their helper!! Thank you all for all your hard work and being the best pediatric dentist for my little girl Keira!!
I took my grandson to Dr. K., after being referred there by another dentist. Our experience was fantastic! The office was clean and the dΓ©cor... excellent!! Bright colors and the train make for a wonderland for the children! The staff were all kind and eager to make my grandson feel relaxed. It is important to me that he have no bad feelings or fear towards gong to the dentist like I have. Dr. K was friendly and welcoming with my questions. I would refer this office/staff to all my friends and look forward to our next visit, as I get a kick out of watching the children play in the waiting room!
We choose Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry based on other moms recommendations, and our sons first appointment, 15 months old, was great! The staff was very nice and Dr. Knechtel was very personable. He cared for my son with kindness and gentleness. Lovely and clean facility. Convenient location. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is that I wish it had more activities for active toddlers in the waiting room. The table of books is nice, but not very engaging. When I have to fill out paperwork, it is nice to have a distraction for him to play with so I can get it done!
We left another peds dentist that we used to go to and went to Dr. Dan on some other friends recommendations. My 5 yr old had a great experience here. The staff is super kind and professional. She got her X-rays done without any drama. Dr. Dan chatted with her and made her feel special. As a parent, I appreciate all of this but was also impressed with how quickly they got us in, did her exam, and had us on our way back to work and school in no time. My girl was excited to talk about her trip to the dentist at show & share at school!
I have been to several pediatric dentist in North Georgia and Western North Carolina, and this is by far the best place we have ever been! Super friendly and understanding and a wonderful environment! Thank you for a great experience for my son!
Dr. Knechtel was wonderful in putting everyone at ease (parents included!) Our son loves going there because of the video screens on ceiling and getting a little care package at the end of every visit. He and his staff are super considerate and caring as well as great with kids. We really appreciate all that they do. Highly recommend as a pediatric dentist.
Highly recommend Blue Ridge Peds for every child! The entire staff are amazing and very sweet to children and parents. Also, Dr. Dan was available after hours oncall for my sons tooth injury at baseball practice. He is God sent! Thank you so much!
We had our first visit on Monday. Great office decor; brightly colored walls, flat screen TVs and open rooms. It was really neat and cool for kids. The staff was very friendly and child oriented. We found a keeper for our new dentistry. Thank you for the great experience.
The staff was exceptional with my autistic child. They were very understanding, caring, and fast. It was one of the best visits we have ever had. Thank you!
Horrible experience!!!!!! Dr Dan was not willing to communicate with us about what he planned to do. They took son for X-rays without my permission, when they stated they would only be taking pictures ( my son had cleft lip so this is common). I would not recommend him to any parent who has questions. He wants to do what he feels best and it doesnt matter what the parents say.
We were told due to us having a cleaning done closer to home and not them we were no longer able to be seen by them. Not because we missed apts but because we didnβt schedule a cleaning with them. The staff did not even have a remorseful tone while telling me this. It was we will not see your child due to this sorry bye. Even if I could be seen there I would choose somewhere else.
I recently took my grand daughter to visit Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry and I was extremely pleased with the overall visit. She is a special needs child and so any type of environment that is unfamiliar to her is quite a challenge. The entire team there made the visit very simple and bearable for her. We were taken in almost immediately and were treated with the utmost kindness! My thanks to the entire staff!
I just took my 6 year old son to see Dr. Knechtel and he had an awesome experience. The staff was wonderful and made this a very fun visit. I would recommend this office to everyone!!
Very little wait time. Good info. I didnt know that gummy vitamins werent good for little teeth. Would have liked to see more pediatric ideas in place. Maybe a smile or cartoon character on the Docs mask. Just something to take the edge off. Very friendly staff.Thank you
I am so happy we found Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry. The first thing you notice when you walk in is how bright, cheery, and clean it is! We were greated right away by a very friendly woman at the front desk. Check in only took a few minutes and they were able to get my daughter started with taking X-rays while I did paper work. Our hygienist was so sweet and gave us lots of information and advise while we waited for the doctor. Dr. Knechtel was so nice and gave us a treatment plan and answered all my questions. My daughter was so comfortable the entire time. They really do everything they can to make it a special experience for your child. We came here for a second opinion and Im so glad we did!
My son had his first dentist appointment with Doctor Dan last week! Between the Dental Hygienist Valerie and Doctor Dan they both made my now 1 year old very comfortable. They took their time and didnt rush him to check his teeth/gums. They did it at his pace which I LOVED because it made my baby more comfortable. They both had him smiling and laughing. I loved how they gave him his own little goody bag with tooth paste, a tooth brush, lots of stickers and Doctor Dan gave him a coin to put in his piggy bank. I thought they were all SOO helpful and Im very excited that I choose Blue Ridge Pediatric for my 1 year olds Dentist! Cant wait for his next visit!
I have been taking my two sons to see Dr. Knechtel and his wonderful staff for over a year. They are very professional while maintaining a relaxed, fun, and comfortable environment that keeps my children at ease. One of the things I appreciate the most is a how well organized the visit is for us. We are always in and out in a timely fashion which helps keep my two wild boys from getting fussy and wild. We really love Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry!
We choose Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry based on other moms recommendations, and our daughters first appointment, 12 months old, was great! The staff was very nice. Dr. Knechtel was very gentle and kind. Lovely and clean facility. Convenient location.
My son was suffering from a severe toothache. I called and they were able to get me in within 30 minutes and take care of his abscess tooth in under an hour! Great technicians and wonderful dentist! Made my nine-year-old son feel very comfortable
Awesome experience! Dan Knechtel & staff were wonderful with my 4 year old! We did not have to wait long before being seen. The waiting room was clean, kid and parent friendly! Will definitely recommend and will be returning for sure.
We came in for a cleaning. Dr. was so rude!!!! And very unfriendly to my child. Did not smile or even say how are you? Terrible experience. We are not coming back. I dont know where all of the good reviews come from, but the Dr. was very unprofessional. Worst Child Dentist Ever
Staff have been very professional for our visits. Wait time has been explained with a difficult procedure for another child and then todays visit with a sick employee. The children have enjoyed the waiting room and we read inspirational child appropriate books. Thanks you for all you do - our visits have been rewarding.
Great overall dentist, my 4 yr old and 10 yr old go here. They make my children comfortable, and I am always welcome to go back with them! We love all the staff and my kids are always willing to go back without hesitation!
Dr. Knechtel and his staff are AMAZING! Our daughter was terrified of going to the dentist until we found Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry. Now she cant wait to go! Its about an hour drive for us to their office, but is the trip is well worth while! We couldnt ask for a better pediatric dentistry team, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing dental experience for their child.
I cannot say enough about Dr. Knechtel and his staff. They are all so very nice and friendly! We are always in and out very quickly and most importantly they are WONDERFUL with kids. My daughter just turned 6 and has been a patient there for a little over 6 months now and she loves the dentist. Shes been for 2 cleanings and a sealant procedure. She periodically asks if she can can go back to the dentist.... If thats not a sign they are doing something right, Im not sure what is!!!We were refer by my adult dentist who will see children, but when it was thought she may need a filling, he sent us to the best. I myself am irrationally terrified of dentistry so I am so glad to have found a great dentist that my daughter likes and who makes dentistry fun, easy, and not the least bit scary!!!
Today was my 6 year old sons first visit at Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry. My son has special needs, so it is very hard to find a dentist suited to his needs. From the first phone call to Blue Ridge Pediatric, there staff members were kind and willing to help. When we arrived at the office they were all kind and very in tune to his needs. They have I pads and tablets for the kids to use, and tvs to watch . The dentist fully explained what needed to be done for my son and was compassionateof his needs and very knowledgeable about what was best. I highly recommend Blue Ridge Pediatric to all families and especially to special needs families. Thanks for your kindness .
I was very excited to hear about Blue Ridge!!! It is very close to home. They have the inside very inviting to children. My son loved the colors!! The dentist and helper were very kind. He adored the tv that he was able to watch while laying down in the chair!! Very cool idea. I look forward to future visits with this dentist!!
We took our son here for his very first dentist appointment and it was a wonderful experience. I cant believe I just said the dentist was wonderful, but it was! The staff were all very friendly and answered all my questions. My son actually had fun and asked if he could go back. I highly reccomend Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry.
My daughter and I love the team and Dr. Dan! They make it so easy and not scary at all! I refer everyone I know to go here!
Dr. Dan is very serious to be a kids dentist but the team he has is great! Very good with kids and very patient.Made our visit so much better than what I thought ! Thank you all for your service !-Melissa Grisales
Today was my first time at BRPD for both my daughters .. they are 3 and a half and 10 months old .. my oldest loved it .. she thought its very awesome adventure. and she cant wait to go again... for a kid to be that excited about a dental check up is very rare .. shows how nice everybody was..thank you everybody for having us today .. see you in 6 months :)
Awful. We missed an appt in 2016 that they auto made for a yearly cleaning. I had no idea they had an appt and we moved OUT OF STATE. Moved back to the area and we were seeing a family dentist my daughter needs oral surgery and so they referred us here because of that βno showβ appt they refuse to see my children. Way to do business. My children have Tricare primary and Medicaid secondary, guarantee they donβt treat private insurance patients like that.
I understand that Dentist and Doctors office have to have a policy in place if you miss an appointment without notifying them. But to refuse to take out a retainer that is causing my child pain that you put in because I missed an appointment is unprofessional and unacceptable. Also the front desk woman should not be miserable. Itβs sets the tone for kids that are nervous already to see the dentist.
We were at BRPD today for six month visit. What a great experience. All the staff were professional and very comforting for my 5 year old. I would highly recommend this practice to any one with children. Especially if they or you are apprehensive about taking your child to the dentist.
In and out! My daughter is four and weve tried three separate times taking her to another place. We were referred here, and it was very nice. She doesnt care for the dentist too much, so the fast service was greatly appreciated!
I had a great experience on our first visit here. Everyone including Dr. Knechtel was very kind. It made for a great first visit to the dentist for my kids.
My six year old and I are extremely pleased with our dentist. They not only remember our names, but they seem to remember our upcoming vacations, etc, that we spoke about at appointments six months prior. I feel like we are being serviced by a family friend.
My son had his first dental visit here this month and I couldnβt have asked for a better experience for him! The staff was super friendly and very helpful! They helped him feel so comfortable! I had no issues or stress during the visit and neither did my son! I am one super proud Mama! Thank you to all of the staff at Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry!!!! We will see yβall in December π -Amanda Hoilman and Family
He did great with my kids, 2 and 4. When they didnt want to sit in the seat, he let me hold them and leaned them back on his knees for exam. It was a great experience, very gentle and understanding.
Bright, cheery, welcoming atmosphere. We were able to be seen the very next day and it wasnt even an emergency. Im glad my daughter will see the same staff, at every visit.
We took our 18 month old for his first appt today and we loved it!! Everyone is so nice and friendly! We have a 4 month old also and she will be going to this dentist office when itβs time. I thought his first dentist appt was going to be a nightmare but it was such a wonderful experience! Thank you Valerie & Dr. Dan!
We had a great experience at Blue Ridge Pediatric. The office staff is so friendly. After having a bad experience at our previous dentist, it was so refreshing to be treated so well. The kids had a good experience and talked about the dentist for the rest of the day. The dentist himself came out to the waiting room to introduce himself to me and was very friendly and explained things well concerning my kids.
Thanks to Dr. Dan and his staff for making my kids first visit go so well. They always have a great time there and the staff is every efficient with the appointment.
We just brought our son in for his first dental appointment. Since his visit, he has sworn off sugar, and reports to the bathroom directly after dinner to brush his teeth. He also has all his prize toothbrushes lined up on the bathroom sink. Needless to say, his visit was effective! Thanks for everything!
Cheerful atmosphere and very kind and gentle staff. Dr. Dan does a great job with both brave kids and nervous parents π
Our daughters have both been under Dr. Knechtel care for over a year and I have been very pleased with the staff and doctor. He has taken time to explain special instructions upon examining x-rays, as well as the staff making a new patient referral to orthodontist. I will be suggesting this pediatric dentist to friends and family.
My daughter is terrified of the dentist, and when we recently found ourselves without a dentist when hers closed, I was afraid of starting all over. However, this experience was by FAR the best one we have ever had. Dan Knechtel is very patient and understanding of kids. I believe he fully understands that kids are going to be naturally nervous of the dentist. My daughter had the best visit. In fact I was more nervous that she was.For the first time I do not dread the next dental visit .
