I came in as a new patient back in March. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth rushed through it as I thought it was a fast cleaning. When I got finished, I had to make another appointment due to some cavities being filled.When I got into my car, looked in mirror and couldn’t tell they were even cleaned. Stains still there. When I went back to get cavities filled, I was nervous (5) The hygienist said they didn’t do that there so asked me if she wanted the dentist to come in and talk to me. The dentist who came in was rude as ever. She said I should have told them prior to coming so she could have called something in. I didn’t realize that was my job to make myself comfortable before a small procedure. Isn’t their job to ask these questions? Then she ended the conversation basically telling me I was wasting her time. With that being said, I thought yeah and I’m wasting my time too. The cleaning I had done a month before was horrible!!I leave it at this, I went and had my teeth cleaned in another dentist office. All of those stains are completely gone!! Yes, they just cleaned my teeth and were very friendly and took their time with me. I would not recommend Biltmore Dentistry to absolutely no one!!

The facility was immaculate. The staff upbeat, attentive, professional, more thorough then any other practice I have experienced ! The hygienist cleaned my teeth better, deeper, cleaner then ever! I didn’t know my mouth was supposed to feel this fantastic! My teeth were very yellow with dark stains!

Angie was my dental hygienist & she was amazing! Very thorough & great attention to detail. Not a speck on any tooth after she was done! Very pleased with my cleaning! Plus she has the greatest personality & sense of humor too. She stopped my cleaning once to hug a patient that was leaving. I thought that was so cute! She’s a gem & I’ll be trusting her with my dental needs as long as I live in Asheville!

Ive had bad experiences with a dentist in the past so I always feel some anxiety when going in to a new appointment, but this place is fantastic and made the process as painless and easy as possible. Taylor, the dental hygienist that worked on my teeth today, was so kind and explained everything she was doing in depth, which is something Ive never had a dentist do before. As she was doing my cleaning, she made sure to give me warning when she was about to switch tools and to check in on my comfort levels periodically. I really appreciated how professional and gracious all of the staff were; it made a huge difference in the experience overall and Im looking forward to continuing with this dental office in the future.Other notes:- Their facilities are very nice and clean.- Checking in/out and scheduling was easy and quick.- Other out-of-network dentists Ive been to have tried really hard to push unnecessary products/treatments on me. There was none of that at BAFD. It was really reassuring to be given a clear, straightforward treatment proposal instead of a lot of extra stuff.

Absolutely amazing team, at both buildings! From my 3 year old to my 7 year old to saving my butt today by fitting me in and getting rid of some serious toothache pain! Not a single complaint!

They treated my 6 year old so well from the moment we stepped into the building. They explained everything they were doing in a way that really engaged her, and made her feel secure. They were super polite and kind the entire time, and my normally nervous child is actually excited to go back to the dentist. I really appreciate the time and care they put into her treatment. Only downside is how long it is between appointments, though Im not surprised theyre booked out so far! The staff is great with kids.

Not a review, just a very important question. I need two wisdom teeth removed and nobody is free to do anything about it and if they dont get removed, Ill die from sepsis. Please is there anything you can do to help?

Biltmore dentistry makes going to the dentist a good trip for my little girl. We had a fun hygienist named Chase that my daughter really enjoyed! Makes a big difference when the hygienist is good with kids. All the dentists are wonderful too!

I brought my toddler here for her first appointment, she was very nervous for her first dentist visit, and I was nervous for her, but the whole staff was super sweet and made her feel comfortable! We both left happy and feeling welcomed. We are eager to come back for her 6 month check up :)

I would like to start by saying that I am super satisfied with the care they provide to their patients, the moment you enter you see the professionalism and cleanliness of the place. They all went beyond good customer service. all questions are heard and answered in a very good professionalism and most important they make you feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend this establishment very good job.

I have not seen doctor Leslie but my husband like her I thought the provider I saw not even sure her name was pretty good and informative. I am only giving 4 stars because I havent really had anything major done and dont know but as far as the medical assistant I absolutely thought Candice was the best one I have ever had I am 38 years old. I will definitely request her every time

Wow! My daughter and I had a fantastic experience all around. Everyone- the receptionists, the hygienists, and the doctor were all very warm and professional. Everyone went above and beyond just good customer service. They answers are questions and listened to our needs and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Also, the whole place was spotlessly clean! We had to wait a couple of months for a new patient appointment, but after being there, I see why...It was totally worth the wait.

I was very nervous about bringing my son (age 3) back to a dentist in general because the last place I took him to was terrible with him. I was so pleased with how well they did with him to make him comfortable. So comfortable he didnt even feel the need to sit with me and sat in the chair all by himself! I am now taking him here regularly for his appointments and cleaning! I highly recommend taking your littles to Biltmore avenue family dentistry!

Im signed into my boyfriends account he didnt go today I did. I had 5 fillings I was really nervous but not long after seating down in the chair the assistant made me feel so comfortable. She told me everything that they was doing and even when the dentist switched tools she let me know it was going to sound different giving me a heads up. It really was a pleasant visit. I also liked how they spoke and it wasnt dead silent it helped taking my mind off getting my teeth worked on. Very nice and the dentist did a great job on my fillings.

I can not say enough good things about Biltmore Avenue Family Dentistry . We moved to Asheville last year and and hadn’t established a dentist yet. I had a dental emergency and was seen the next day. I was very afraid as I have a real fear of dentist. They were so patient and caring. I could tell they truly cared . The dentist and dental assistant were very knowledgeable. I am having to have surgery and they had my referral in and surgery consult scheduled before I even left the office . There was pretty much no wait time from the time I went back into the room before the dental assistant started working with me . Working in healthcare I will just say I was super impressed and they are truly caring and compassionate. I will refer everyone who is looking for a dentist to this office .

I would like to thank the employees that so kindly took care of me during the worst vertigo attack Ive ever had . they watched over me for hours until my daughter could get there. I live in burnsville so I was stranded but it couldnt have happened in a better place. I would definitely recommend such a carrying place . I hope my next trip will be much better for us all 😳

The only reason I didnt rate this dentist at 5 stars is because its hard to get in. My kids have been going to this office for years (we were previously at smile starters). Literally the only complaint I have about this facility is that its hard to get in and you may have to wait a little while to get things done depending on what you need. That by no means is not meant to discourage anyone from trying them I recommend it highly!

Dr.Leslie is by far the best Dentist I have ever been to. Ive been a patient for almost five years now and she has truly helped me in not only my oral health but my self confidence as well. I have always struggled with my teeth and it has always been my biggest insecurity(Anyone who has dealt with this knows what I mean). Dr.Leslie is a perfectionist and knows what she is doing, she is quick and gentle and I never have any anxiety at all going to the dentist. The hygienists and assistants are all so kind and sweet and the biggest reason I love this office so much is the way they treat you. Very kind down to earth people here!

I Love my dentist. Dr. Leslie has always been so nice and respectful about my teeth. Although I have really good teeth. Pretty much all I drink is water. Her office staff is always friendly. They also always check and are persistent in making sure I remember my appointment. They personally message me to check if Im coming. I always love the small talk between me and the hygienist because it makes my cleaning go by really quick. Theyre always really friendly and I feel like they care about the well being of my teeth.

On my first visit to this dentist I felt comfortable and was very satisfied with their services. So, based on this one visit I recommend them. Friendly and competent.

I would not recommend this practice! Twice this practice has inconvenienced our families time. When scheduling appointments they do not listen to anything you say. I had three children with an upcoming appointment scheduled, due to the office closure inside I called ahead of time to schedule the next (2) 6 month cleaning, as I usually schedule both cleaning in one year while there. The lady canceled my children’s upcoming appointments and scheduled them out 6 months. Did not tell me she was canceling the appointment, I was bringing them to that day or I would have corrected her at the time. I even told her at the end of the call while see y’all this afternoon! We showed up for their appointments and NOT to our surprise no appointments were scheduled, they had already filled them after canceling them that morning, without my knowledge. This was not the first time we showed up for an appointment and our children didn’t have one scheduled. One of our children’s were coming in for a scheduled appointment, that we confirmed by phone/ text confirmation that they send out. We showed up and they had canceled it, because they claim we did not confirm, we had proof of text confirmation and of course we were not seen that time either. If you do decide to use this practice make sure you are actually scheduled before to take the time to drive out there. We have removed 1 adult and 5 children from this practice, we would not return even if the practice manager did reach out, which did not reach out, the lady upfront showed no concern for their offices screw up, it was completely shocking the treatment we received from them. This is not a family friendly practice.

I just left their office today from a routine checkup. It was my very first visit. From start to finish, everyone that worked there was super friendly. I recieved great advice, a very thorough cleaning, and a treatment plan that was not confusing and complicated. I highly recommend!

Very friendly and efficient office. Ive been taking my 3 yr old daughter here since her first visit, and she actually loves the dentist they are gentle and make her feel comfortable. She leaves smiling and makes friends with the office. I decided to come here myself after seeing another dentist previously. I like them much better. Made me feel very comfortable from the front desk person to the dentist. The hygienist are very gentle and understanding, they do a great job & they listen to me about my concerns. I asked the dentist for a second opinion on something another dentist wanted me to do that was expensive and I didn’t feel was necessary he completely agreed with me. I feel they are a very honest office. I would highly recommend this office.

My only suggestion is that when the dental assistant & the dental hygienist enter the dental room or any others that enter that they introduce themselves. I had quite a few come in and I had no idea who they were. I also requested a specific dentist and got another dentist -which was actually fine because we ended up really liking her. I do want to say that the service was very thorough.

Their team is always so friendly and informative. Gentle dentistry makes me comfortable in the chair. I always leave feeling like I have and can maintain my dental health.Also,, Kuddos to them for excepting medicaid and giving the people of Asheville a respectable place to call their dentist home. I truly believe that each and every individual in their practice cares about the health of my teeth. Thank you!

The Dental Hygienest (Angie) and Dr. Williams were thorough, competent, and made me feel comfortable with my teeth cleaning and taking x-rays.

Made an appointment to get a tooth filled bc the filling fell out. I showed up and they had me down for a cleaning. I explained what I was there for but they insisted that it was only a cleaning even though I was in pain and needed to get what I scheduled. They said I would need to get the cleaning and an exam to determine whats wrong even though I explained my situation over the phone and they agreed. Needless to say I left totally disappointed and frustrated. Dont waste your time with this place. Place looked like they rented it by the month anyway. Next!

I moved to the area about a year ago and needed to find a new, good dentist and hygienist thats in network with my insurance. I found it all here with Dr Williams, Megan the hygienist, and they are Aetna in network.The entire staff at this office has been extremely nice and helpful. Ive been able to schedule my appointments and get in right away.Dr Williams is very gentle in her practice and makes you feel at ease.Megan does an amazing job cleaning your teeth and was super cool to talk to.I highly recommend this office

I was super impressed with my Dental hygienist, LaToya. Not only was she gentle and kind, she also was verbal as she explained everything she was doing as she worked in my mouth. She took extra precautions for cleanliness and used specific tools to enable her to do a better job then Ive had done before. Huge Thankyou!

Love this place!😁 I needed some emergency work done and the staff was very accommodating. They scheduled me for the very next day. The staff was really friendly and genuinely concerned about me. I liked them so much that I chose them as my new dentist. Megan (hope I spelled that right) gave me the best cleaning I have ever had by far. She really took her time and went above and beyond with my teeth. She made sure that they were as close to perfect as possible and treated me like family. I actually enjoyed my time at the dentist. My teeth look like they have been professionally whitened. I love it!! 5 STARS!!

I had to switch from my previous dentist that Ive been with for years (and loved) due to a change in insurance. I was VERY apprehensive and concerned that I wouldnt find another amazing dentist, especially after having seen some not-so-good dental experiences as a child and teenager.I did my research and decided to go with Biltmore Avenue Family Dentistry and Im SO glad I did.Clean office, COVID precautions in place, attentive, and VERY friendly - from the front desk staff, to the hygienists/assistants and dentists. I went in for a cleaning with Dr. Williams, I was in an out in 45 minutes. They were able to get me in the next day to get my cavities filled with Dr. Serene. She filled two cavities and I was also out in 45 minutes.While I dont have any particular anxiety during dental procedures -- I will say they are great for anyone that may experience any anxiety while getting dental work done. The hygienist was sweet (wish I had gotten her name) and talked to me through my whole cleaning and the next day while I was getting my cavities filled, Dr. Serene asked several times if I was doing OK and to let her know if I needed a break or anything at all. It was much appreciated.Highly recommend BAFD!

Dentist appointment is always a dreadful thing to me. I have tooth of which filling needs to be repaired as it is broken and become uncomfortable. All of the dentists I have called (that takes Humana insurance) are all fully booked, waiting time is more than a month while my tooth really need immediate attention. Biltmore Avenue Family Dentistry made it possible for me to wait just one week only. Dr Meade is great, treated my teeth fast without pain and now my teeth is good again. What a blessing. I recommend her.I only paid a little bit for the treatment which is a thing to celebrate on its own. I will continue to be their loyal customers.

I broke a tooth and need a crown. I saw Dr Serene who did the procedure with the assistance of an excellent dental assistant. The procedure was performed efficiently and totally without pain or any discomfort. Highly recommend this dental practice

I hadnt been to the dentist in years. We are new to the area and just got new dental insurance and honestly, it was daunting trying to figure out how to find a new dentist because most of them didnt have reviews. I went with Dr. Leslie because she was the only one that had a review. I would recommend this practice to everyone. They didnt push a lot of unnecessary treatments on me and they were very gentle and understanding. Great office staff, the x-ray tech and the hygienist were wonderful along with the dentist, of course. Highly recommend.

Angie helped me this morning! She scaled my teeth, polished them and took some X-rays for me. I have very sensitive gums and Angie was patient and gentle with my cleaning the entire time! I used to be terrified of going in for a cleaning because of how sensitive my gums are but because of Angie, I have confidence in the assistants, technicians and this Dentists Office in general to take care of me!

After a long time searching for a dentist and a bad experience at their last dentist, my two sons were terrified to have dental work done. One of my sons deals with anxiety issues and panic attacks, so to say he was nervous about a trip to the dentist is an understatement. I did not discuss this with the dentist or staff, at the request of my son, and chose to assure him everything would be OK. I was thrilled to hear them both come out saying how they felt no pain getting fillings and how nice the dentist and staff were to them! Thank you Dr. Wessinger and staff for the kind and caring treatment of my children! I would highly recommend this office to anyone needing dental work, they are awesome!

Ive struggled to find a decent dentist that takes medicaid in Asheville Im so happy I was referred here the first day they were so kind and helpful within an hour they had a game plan on getting my teeth fixed and Im on the road to finally having my teeth fixed after 9 years

I took 3 children in for a check up & cleaning and we had a great experience. There was little to no wait time, everything about their care was communicated clearly to me & options for insurance filing etc was all explained. One of my children had a traumatic past dental experience but the hygienist took her time to explain everything to her & ease her fears. She has now had a positive dental experience & will be less fearful the next time around. Highly recommend this practice!!

I saw Dr. Amanda Meade - she is a warm, caring, and knowledgeable dentist. The hygienist was quick, thorough and (relatively) painless, inasmuch as a dental cleaning can be painless, if you have recession and sensitive teeth. Both thumbs up!

All 4 of my children had their first visit here today. It was a completely comfortable experience- they were kind, professional and took our insurance, NC Health Choice. The reviews are right- we highly recommend this dental practice!!

I have a huge fear of the dentist. Massive, like I cried the first couple times that I went. I was super insecure about my teeth but Dr. Meade and Tonia have taken such great care of me. I promise you its like you can feel the patience radiating from Dr. Meade every time shes in the room. And Tonia is incredible when it comes to making sure that I am comfortable and know what is going on with my treatment. I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a dentist. Very clean and organized. I was in and out in under an hour having to fill a chipped tooth. They were also extremely well prepared for post COVID-19 appointments. I cant recommend them more highly.

Thankful to God that we were blessed to find this dentist! We were at Smile Starters because we thought it was the only dentist to take medicaid. I was happy to find Biltmore Avenue Family Dentistry accepts adult medicaid as well. Every employee that I have encountered are beyond courtious and caring. I and my children have always had serious anxiety with dentists, but B.A.F.D. are very receptive to whatever you may need to make your experience a positive one. My little family of 3 gives this dentist 6 thumbs up!!!

I love going to Dr. Meade and the treatment I get at Biltmore Avenue Family Dentistry. They all do much more than just the bare minimum of healthcare. That kind of care is a sign you will come out with better long-term dental results.I had to get a root canal and the other dentist I’ve seen there, Dr. Williams, helped me identify that early on and the tooth was saved!November 11, 2020Dr. Williams helped me identify a second root canal need in the same year recently. I failed to take my penicillin properly and needed a more powerful antibiotic. Had Dr. Williams not seen me right away as needed I might have ended up with a very serious health situation.I also REALLY LOVE seeing Dr. Williams and her compassion and gentleness is something I really need. I cannot wait to give her and everyone else at BAFD a Christmas card.
