I absolutely love this 24 Hour fitness. It is super clean, lots of great equipment and most of all a friendly staff. The manager, Clayton is an absolute doll and all the other people working at the front desk are always ready to help and super friendly. I recommend this gym to anyone in Arvada looking for a great place to work out.
What a fantastic gym! The people at the front desk always greet me when I walk and are very friendly and helpful. The equipment is working at all times and I am able to always get in a workout on what I need to get done. The gym is appropriate for all types of styles of workout needs.
The people at the front desk are always so friendly and happy to see me! Makes my day every time I come in. The club is super clean and I never have to wait for any equipment! Keep up the good work!
DO NOT GO HERE! I was walking out to the parking lot because I forgot my water bottle while I was passing the staff members(two young men).. they started to laugh at me!! Why, probably because I wasn’t beautiful and fit for their taste! I haven’t been back and I even cancelled my membership! Trying to burn steam and you get laughed at for how you look! Not a good place to work out unless you want to be judged. Don’t waste your hard working money for people that judge you!! Take your business somewhere else. Please!P.s I would not have given them a star but I had no choice!!
Great power flex class at 9! Masks are optional.
Awesome place first time going today and they have so many awesome things to do
Great place to workout with squat/deadlift platform and other diverse old school equipment
Hear me out on the 3 stars:The equipment and gym itself is FANTASTIC. The equipment, the openness, the facilities, locker rooms, amenities, etc. I love doing leg days here because of the squat racks and abundance its awesome equipment. Although its more corporate policy than local policy, thanks for sanitizing and ensuring everything is cleaned. The gym looks GREAT!The bad: Its sad to see some of the staff members not take covid seriously. Ive seen a girl that works here take off her mask to talk to guests, no one is really regulating and people are walking around willy-nilly without masks and not wiping down equipment or racking their weights. I know nobody wants to be that guy regulating the Karens and the anti-masker doe-doe-birds, but in order for us to get past this and stay open, unfortunately I do think they should be a little more attentive. If the staff can do a little better job of setting an example, maybe people will follow. Staff, take it seriously, stop taking off your masks and gossiping politics and how dumb it is to wear a mask with the guests. We can hear ya!
Awesome parking and space in the gym
I was a member at 24 hour fitness for 3 years and use the gym 3-5 days a week. Almost two years ago, my sister came to visit me while she was on military orders and stayed for a month. During that time she needed a place to work out, so we added her on to my account at 24 hour fitness as part of a promotional deal. Before she left, she informed a front desk employee she would be leaving soon and needed to cancel her membership. Apparently the paperwork didnt go through, and I ended up paying $40 a month for two years on an INACTIVE account. Not one employee bothered to inform me, over the course of that time, that I was paying for an inactive account, however, when I brought my little brother in to work out one day they were able to call and harass him to join for weeks. Very greedy and unprofessional.High membership price for a place with poorly maintained equipment, water fountains that are broken for two weeks at a time, and lazy employees.
..my go-to here.. not bad overall...
I like this gym and the staff, but this is for the people who think they are too good for mask and cleaning equipment after use, I don’t care how you feel about everything going on but have some respect for the employees and other gym members trust me they don’t like having to keep asking people to keep putting up their mask, just be decent person.
Of the 24 hour fitness still open north of Denver this one is the best. Clean facility friendly front desk and does not inundated you will odd rules while staying safe on the pandemic.
Great staff great time, the two guys up at the front desk are great wish I knew their names to give them credit! Heres is an update Cameron and Trevor are the two guys that helped me out, super good job always polite and on top of their game!
Brand new beautiful and clean Super Sport, pretty much just like any other 24 fitness with a few exceptions. Was happy to see the Eleiko bumpers and DBs up to 120 lbs. Dont care for the hoist benches as the adjustable incline benches are a bit too tall at incline (Im 59) and the hoist machines are a lil awkward. The big negative is the locker room, being a brand new facility youd think they would have done more to make the locker room more spacious but its even more congested and crowded than other 24 hour fitness in the Denver area.
Great workout facility. They have the most locations and manage them pretty well. They have a good system with COVID and I appreciate the efforts to get mask use consistently done.
Clean for Covid. Scheduling issues on opening timely. Wish they’d go back to being open 24 Hours.
The club appeared to be clean, staff was great especially Gunner! I was disappointed they were not taking temperatures before signing in.
Solid health club, wide variety of equipment and exercise options.
Why on Gods earth do people take such meaningless pictures to post in regard to the gym they are posting it for. Take pictures of the equipment.....hello....the free weights...the machines... the Workout area...Not pictures of the sign outside...your own personal bike station.. etc....please use some common sense people.
I thoroughly enjoy this facility. They have tons of different things to do, great staff, and they offer classes quite frequently.
A great fitness club, one of the best in the area.Clean, well maintained, with all the latest club fitness equipment. The club atmosphere is inspiring and motivational. I like it because of its adult orientation and seriousness. Folks! This is not a teen-hangout spot. The only negative is members not showering before entering the wet area facilities. Like the pool, saunas, and whirlpool.
Very clean and spacious facility! Friendly staff! Social distancing in practice! My FAVORITE 24 Hour Fitness Club! Im glad its open again!!
I feel they are doing a great job in cleaning and keeping everyone safe during these crazy times.
This is an excellent gym and great staff 👏
Spacious & clean. Lots of equpiment5
Awesome place and fun staff! Keep it up guys, the best gym in town!
The gym is new and well-equipped, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Plus the gym has a full basketball court, which was critical for me joining because I use it for functional training. I would have given the gym 5 stars except for the fact that this club is screwing over its members with the basketball court.24 Hour Fitness rents out the basketball court every Tuesday and Thursday night to an outside volleyball club. During this time, members cannot use the basketball court at all. This is completely unacceptable.I can understood if 24 Hour Fitness reserves the gym during certain times for 24 Hour Fitness classes that members can join. But in this case 24 Hour Fitness closes the gym to its paying members during PRIME TIME at 6:00pm so they can make money renting it out to a volleyball club at the expense of 24 Hour Fitness members. If they want to rent out the basketball court then they should do it at off-hours when the clubs members are least likely to use it. But 24 Hour Fitness obviously values making a little extra money more than it values its paying customers, which is ridiculous. As a result, I would think twice about joining this gym because it obviously doesnt really care about its members if it will screw them over like this within a month of being open. Whats next?!
The gym location itself is great! Nice and new, and a decent amount of modern equipment. However, trying to call member services was not a pleasant experience. I called and was quoted “20 minutes” before someone would answer my call. Waited for over an hour, and then the system just hung up on me. Gym is nice, but once they have your $50 a month they don’t care about you or anything else you need.
Decent equipment, but it does get super busy at peak times and some of the cardio machines have issues. Main reason for the low score is the move to suspend the towel service, which was a huge convenience for me and a big part of why I chose this gym. If they were honest about it and said it was to save money, fine...but they put on this facade about reducing water usage and then tell us to bring our own towels.
The facility is new and the senior programs are great. The real negative is members not showering before entering the pool, saunas, and whirlpool.Just put a large sign up Members must shower before entering pool area!!!!
Brand new facility. Very well designed with spacious weight area with all types machines and free weights.Plenty of cardio equipment. Locker room is very clean and spacious. The Basketball gym is small but is very nice. Lap Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna, and Steam room are great for all needs. Overall great facility!
Great place the membership is a bit expensive but good overall.
This is the golden egg of fitness centers! All the amenities, brand new state of the art equipment, sparkling clean pool and spa, who could ask for more! Not to mention the monthly rate is way cheaper then the Y or Apex punch cards as long as you use it!! First class staff and gym all the way!
Decided to try this new location out when it opened, fast forward a year we’re ready to go elsewhere. This location is considered a “super sport” and priced accordingly. Aside from new equipment I don’t see this location being a super sport considering they got rid of the complimentary towels. Not worth the super sport price.-24hr member since 2007
Fantastic equipment, very clean, everything is brand new. However, there’s a bit of an unwelcoming vibe. Front desk can sometimes be friendly but more often than not they don’t acknowledge you. Not a great sense of community at this gym. Would be perfect if staff was friendlier.
Okay for the most part gyms are a fine a dozen. In fact I was already a basic member at another 24. But this place is close to my office and I can work out at lunch. Even though its a little pricy ($40 monthly) they have new equipment, a great squat rack set Up, and an okay cross fit area. Worth a visit.
Transferring to this gym after being a consistent weightlifter at the Susan M. Duncan YMCA. I am not slandering the YMCA at all--as the Y was fantastic as well--, but this 24 hour has EVERYTHING and is less expensive overall. A plethora of high-quality equipment, brand new facility, friendly and abundant trainers and staff, a sauna, large lap pool, a turf strip... this gym has it all! I am very pleased with this facility and plan to use it from now and on!
Great staff, great vibes
Best 24 I’ve been to hands down just don’t go in the sauna with your shoes on . They have a trainer that with yell at you . Hahaha other than that kid it’s good
This low score is mainly due to towel service being terminated. Conveniently, when I try to provide feedback on their website my entry is rejected due to content. The only thing that set this location apart from a different club was the towels. We have been members for nearly two years. We will be looking for a new gym.I enjoyed the space, equipment, and that it never seems to get overly busy.
Good place to workout.
Stopped by for a quick swim. Pool is super nice. Did not use the weight room but it looked great.
This is a normal 24 hour fitness. Nothing super special. They wanted to charge me me 10 $ more a month for going to this gym. And would not even give me a 3 day pass to think about it. I have gone to 24 hour fittness since I was 15. I will be looking for another gym as 24 hour fitness is not what it was in the past. They advertise you can work out at any gym you want. But now that is no longer true. Customer loyalty is no longer something 24 cares about.
Best 24hr Ive been. The bad comments I see on here, in my opinion I have never dealed with. the front desk greats you with a smile and always says have a good day, the machine and overall facility are extremely clean compared to any other 24hr Ive been to. The last three 24 hours Ive been too, I would not have given such a good review. This location in my experience, has been amazing. Very friendly and out going, and VERY CLEAN.
Our family is split on our feelings about this location. We both agree that that pool and locker rooms were great and clean. There were plenty of working equipment to go around. It was our first time going after midnight. I wanted to go after work, hoping it would help me sleep better. I was the only female in the locker room after my shower. No quicker than I put my shoes on a man walks in unannounced. He looked right at me and with a loud voice I said, Im still here! He pushed his cleaning cart toward the bathroom stalls then walked out didnt say a word to me. I preceded to the sink to brush my eat. Right when I started to rinse my mouth out, I hear another man shout out something. So I walked towards the lockers to find out whats going on. I yell out, yes, Im still in here. Now Im really mad. I didnt take a long shower. I didnt take a long time getting dressed. Why am I being rushed to get out of the bathroom area at 1: 45am? I did complain to the lady at the front desk that two men barged in on me while in the locker room and the first guy didnt announce his presence. Which is totally unprofessional and unacceptable. What if I had been completely naked or wrapped in a towel? OMG I dont know how I would have reacted.I didnt mention that was Monday the 24th in the early a.m..
As a silver sneakers member I have access to many gyms in the area. I have been a 24 hr member for years. The gym at 64th and Ward in Arvada serves my needs perfectly. The front staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Many choices of equipment. The entire facility is always in top notch condition. I dont understand people dropping a membership because of lack of towel service. Bring your own! I will say it is very difficult to get a hold of the facility itself. You have to go through a national 24 Hr call center and jump through numerous hoops to get a number that will connect you with the front desk. This is not acceptable and I hope someone will read this and pass it on to corporate. That is the reason I didnt give it 5 stars. There are many gym choices in the Northwest metro area and silver sneaker members can attend most of them, so take note 24 Hr. All in all, I have been happy with the gym. Would appreciate a zumba class during the day hours.
Visited this nice facility during my trip. Single floor plan with a well thought-out layout. Looked well kept with all weights in their respective place. All functioning new equipment. Went in midmorning and was not busy at all 👍. Showers were great with good water pressure, clean, frosted glass doors, and lots of stalls. Ample parking (midmorning to noon). Friendly front desk.
Other than the constant bombardment of terrible pop music, annoying soundbites, and advertisements (I see the same deodorant commercial about 5 times an hour) youd expect from a corporate gym, this establishment is relatively clean, has lots of space, and is for the most part affordable. Showers are nice/private, theres a solid free weight and machine selection, and the staff (for the most part) leaves you alone with their sales pitches. Two things I am disappointed with:Few clocks and theyre hard to read from far away (especially the second hand)Locker room is pretty crampedOverall decent place.
These types of fitness clubs are not for everybody. They offer way more than I use myself. I dont use classes, or fitness trainers, or the basketball court. What I use are the free weights, the cable machines, and the swimming pool. And they do all of these things well. A lot of people complain about the price but how do you put a price on your own Fitness? The staff is always friendly no matter what time of day I go in, and they dont try to pressure me into buying anything extra. This location also offers clean towels to use.
This 24 hour fitness is fantastic. The equipment is clean and new. The ability to put on a video when a class is not taking place and the choices are amazing. I often break up my workout with a 15 minute ab video. I wish all the 24 had these videos. The basketball court is never dominated by the same people, so anyone can have an opportunity to play, such as my teens. I love my trainer!
As a 3 year 24 Hour Fitness member I found myself in Arvada and hoped to try out a Super Sport location for my workout. Instead of paying the $20 one time fee, I decided to use that $20 to get two months to Planet Fitness.
If I could make it a minus -10 I would!! Went in 24 hour on Saturday and was met by a black haired kid about 5’8”. Was not very helpful and rude and very cocky. I just moved here from California and my nephew wanted to take me to his gym. Well we did and he hasn’t been to gym since November and membership was canceled so he decided to renew it.. That’s ok, but this little punk says it’s a 20 fee to bring a guest for the day. I said really I belong to a gym in California and it’s name is Planet Fitness and they don’t charge to bring a guest. And that little punk gets an attitude and even more cocky and I tell him we will just find a Planet Fitness to go to today.. And he said good you can leave now!!
Now open! Beautiful facility. Locker rooms are really nice. Lap pool, sauna, tons of cardio and weights. Cycling and group classes too. Towel service is available.
Well they have solved their chronic shortage of towels by doing away with the service. Appears to be a national move looking at Reddit. I feel this is a big mistake and hopefully will bite them. My monthly rate was calculated with this service included. There is no corresponding rate reduction so this is an instant return to the bottom line. Don’t insult us with the premise you are saving the planet. I placed a lot of value on this service so will be considering leaving. I have not been happy for some time with the conditions in the men’s locker room between the over crowding during peak times and globs of human hair left in the showers for weeks on end.
Compared to other options in the area such as Prestige Fitness this club is a welcome addition to the West Arvada area. I dont think the dues are outrageous. They have a large free weight area, squat racks, and quality equipment.
Recently tried this gym, couldnt recommend it. Heres why:- More ads than music. Do you like working out to febreeze commercials?- They spaced the lights too far apart, and had to make them brighter to compensate. Imagine bench pressing while staring into a spotlight - not fun- Directly backlight huge fan that creates a weird stroping effect over a corner of the gym. Hello nausa- Creepy ads all over of demented figures encouraging to ignore your limits
Employee lied. Same equipment and everything at other 24 hour fitness clubs for $10 less a month. Customer service not helpful. And way cheaper for other gyms. NOT WORTH THE COST HERE.
Might wanna talk to your tall female trainers about their professionalism when it comes to talking trash about patrons working out. Just a suggestion.
I see them spraying the equipment off when ever I am there.
They have a towel service but unfortunately the towel bins are always overflowing and the front dedk is always out of towels. This is a reflection of a poor management. Makes me wonder if they got a new GM recently because the service really seemed to take a dive in the last month or two. Makes it not really worth the extra money they charge for being a supersport.
Beautiful facility! Only problem: the trainers that work there camp-out on the power / Olympic racks; they monopolize them - irritating. Come on people - get your sets in and move on - let people work in.
Ive been looking for a new gym and tried the 3 day pass so I could get a feel for 24 hour fitness, since theyre only 4 min from the house. I only ended up using 1 day of the pass. Came in and spent an hour doing their tour, the last 20 min of which was spent in a meeting, surviving the hard sales tactics of 2 employees, who kept pushing for me to sign today. I mustve said no to personal training 3 times before they let up...only to ask me to sign up and pay for mini group sessions. I stopped giving reasons and just said no. I ran off to the class I had wanted to take (a digital class), but the equipment wasnt working. There were also only 2 other people who were taking the class...the gym was practically empty. Anyway, at this point my time was up and I had just spent $6 (their childcare), to spend an hour feeling like I was at a timeshare meeting, and not work out. As I walked out, I saw the people who had tried to sell me a membership in a meeting. I had wanted to at least be polite and say goodbye. Another associate told me they were in a sales training meeting..apparently because Id turned down their many requests. They called me later and asked when I would be coming back. I said I wasnt.Im pretty disappointed because I really wanted to join this gym, but wont go back if its such high pressure on the employees to make a sale. Ruins the experience.
This gym is great I haa a amazing trainer for 8 sessions and now just paying monthly. Lots of equipment and the place is huge!
Great facility, new equipment, clean, newly open, the staff are welcoming and it hasnt been super busy. Plenty of room to move around, and I can get in and out for weight training.
Ive been a member for 28 yrs and originally bought the all inclusive membership, meaning I could go to any gym in the US. Over the years they have have renigged on their contract by telling me I cant go to this gym or that gym because its a Sport or whatever. I dont care about their supposed fancy, new equipment, I care about my health. All they care about is their bottom line and NOT good customer service. Ive spent over $4,000 in my time at their gyms. They cant even give me the courtesy of transferring to a gym that is blocks from my house, instead I have to drive 40 minutes to continue paying my dues and stay healthy. 28 yrs. Ive never committed to any relationship that long and their loyalty to their long time customers is NON-EXISTENT.I give you zero stars for some of the worst customer service and will only continue to go so that I dont become unhealthy. I dont recommend 24 hr Fitness AT ALL.Apparently, I cant post this unless I give you one star, but trust me, its zero.
Clean and usually not crazy busy
New 1/2 year old so equipment works and in good repair. Wi-Fi also works.
This comany is horrible, my niece told them like monthly membership and 2 months later find out she got charged year membership, no cancellation also.,ripped off, they are dishonest company, doing bussiness by cheating, worst experice ever. When the card was issued, it did not tell me that it was a one-year plan. In less than a year, the annual fee was deducted. Cancellation on the way could not be cancelled! Cancel must be paid for one year! They are stealing money
Very nice Gym!
I really enjoy this gym as long as I can avoid the rush hours.
Great maintained equipment and friendly staff and members!
This club replaced the one at 88th & Wads, a previous Ballys club that 24Hr took over. That club had a running track, and 2 racquetball courts. This new 24Hr, failed to install any racquetball (2 24Hrs clubs down south have racquetball !!), and no track. Yes, all the equip is new, which is nice, but being a Super sport demands more features than what over clubs offer (heck, chuze has a movie room and hydro massage !!!). For a new club, the locker rooms, again, were designed too small. This aggravates me to no end, being cramped in a locker room. Go look at Tru Fit on 120th & Federal locker room - no comparison. The basketball court only has two hoops - really!!!??? The 24Hr at 80th &Sheridan and 120th have 6 hoops. How cheap can they get!! Towel service is fine, but that is really the only amenity I see over the other non 24Hr Sports clubs (non Super Sport). Good thing I won a 1 yr membership at Grand opening, but I only go there 1 day/wk, and go to Tru Fit on 88th the rest of the time. When Vasa opens at 100th&Wads in April, Ill be joining there for the same price as 64th&Ward, but it will have many more features + racquetball!!! Well Done Vasa!! Also, if you are bent on going to the 24Hr at 64th&Ward, dont buy a membership at the club, go to Costco instead and get it for $25/month which also gives all club access. Note, I have been a 24Hr member since 2009 on a very good deal and am also in the Class Action Suit against them for sales reps lying to customers when selling memberships. Another reason to get your membership at Costco and not the club.
Where do I even begin.. if I could give this place negative stars I would, I used to work for 24 hour fitness so I know the in’s and out’s of this company, the sales staff over there is fine, friendly, caring, genuine, however the management is abhorrent.. corporate greed is insatiable over there, as a member you are seen as a paycheck and nothing more, once you walk through the door and swipe that card they could care less about you, I started working there thinking I would be able to help people and get them started on their fitness journey and even change a couple lives, but as time went on the process kept draining me and the company wanted me to become a “robo-salesman” doing things by the book and not actually getting to know the people I was helping, “supersport” that’s the “Nike, Under Armor etc.. pay more because it’s “bigger and better in every way,” if you ever consider working here, DON’T! As a sales advisor over there the management hounds you to hit quotas so they can deepen their pockets, it’s a pyramid scheme in the long run.. look, a gym is a gym, weights are heavy and water is wet, however don’t fall into the 24 trap, this company used to be amazing and actually cared about its members and employees but now it’s all greed, find another gym people
Not at all what we expected. We waited several months for a mediocre gym to open. Pickins are slim in the Arvada West area as far as gyms go. We lived over by Chuze Fitness but had to cancel due to our move. Chuze is way better for half the price! 24 HR is NOT worth the fee they charge for what they offer.
This is the cleanest 24 Hour Fitness in the state of Colorado. Also, the newest.
Very nice place equipment brand new everything looks good
New gym and new equipment. Love the atmosphere that they provide. Really upset with 40,000 + square feet they didn’t do a whole lot. I was hoping for another Parker and arapahoe style super sport gym but it’s all good. Really worth the super sport upgrade. It just sucks that people are complaining about the price and that their sport level membership can’t get in. Not to be mean but the nearby gym 80th and Sheridan gym was my home gym and it sucks that they close down the 88th location and now the 80th is too pack with lots of a**holes members. I prefer this gym with a little extra on top of my membership fees just to get away from how pack that gym is along with I don’t have to deal with obnoxious and greedy members that 80th absorb. Please don’t downgrade this gym to sport level
Charge more but no added value. Plus the annual fee is a way to charge more without giving more. No classes offered between 6 and 8 am. Class floor is slippery. I pulled my groin as i went down into a wide squat because my shoe slipped. Me and another girl had to do lunges on a yoga mat to prevent further injury. Instructor was sharing it is known problem but doesnt seem to be of high priority. But yes new equipment is always beautiful so thats why it got a 2 instead of a 1. Class only had 5 people so you dont have to do a waitlist
This place has a lot of clean and great equipment . I reccomend this place a lot of you are serious about it
Corporate greed back at again. I bought a lifetime membership for a large amount 10 years ago and theyve constantly tried to screw me over. This location is their most recent money grab. My membership was sold as an all club pass but it doesnt work here so Ill be moving on.I will be joining the class action lawsuit.
Give me exactly what I need every time i need it!! Clean, terrific and outstanding service!
I signed on for a year, and when I went in to end my contract (I moved) they blew me off. They said they would call me, but no one ever got in touch with me, so I went in and tried to cancel in person. They cancelled my membership right away, but I still got billed $40 for the month. All of the trainers are pushy about getting you to sign up for one of their expensive programs, and if you turn them down theyll give you the stink-eye the whole time you work out.
The famous super sport scam. It’s the exact same club as Bowles and Kipling, except they offer towels.
Not as packed as other 24 gyms. Nice location
There is NO LONGER any real reason to be a member of a super sport. Towel service was it.Hiding laziness and increasing profit margins to “save water”? NOONE is buying it.
This is a brand new 24 Hour Fitness with various kinds of equipment weights, treadmills and an area to four spend biking and yoga Etc. There is a full size pool sauna, end steam room. They also have lots of trainers.
They dont care if you are a Senior going three times a month or a 20-something going every day; its still $50/month. No discount for Seniors.
This is a great gym! Clean and friendly.
Very aggravated with 24 Hour Fitness chain they closed down my closest gym and said they were building a brand new facility at 64th and Ward little did they say that you had to pay an additional fee to use this new gym that they were building to replace my gym they closed down. They have lost my business will be taking it somewhere else
Love this gym and all it offers. Not sure of the pricing as I got in on a grand opening special, but it is very worth it!
I miss my old Safeway but the replacement has been a joy to the area. Clean and friendly environment makes this a super addition to the area.
Good location and lots of equipment.
This gyms not even open yet. Just wasted 15 mins driving, sweet.
Very nice gym, clean, great staff.
Great place. Clean
Great facility and plenty of equipment
Brand new equipment, great atmosphere
The best gym ever!
