I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy and I’m here to tell you that RCCF and their coaches are going to keep people OUT of my clinic. They are all knowledgeable about how your body moves and what modifications you might need if something isn’t moving right. The detailed instructions help to meet you where you are in your fitness journey. I came to the gym with some hesitancy about squatting and deadlifting because of a pesky low back issue. I’m now moving better, feeling better, getting stronger and doing it all safely. I can’t tell you how much this gym has changed me in just a few months. I’m so thankful for the team they have in place.
RCCF I awesome! All the coaches are incredible; professional, knowledgeable and always willing to work with any questions, issues or change you may need. The space is huge and well equipped and Jeremy (owner) is doing some great things to make it even better - more weights, more usable space, outdoor workout, upgraded equipment etc.There are tons of sessions each day so its never an issue to find something that works for you. And the crew there is great!! Everyone is crazy welcoming and always pushing each other to be better and get fitter.100% recommend!!
This place is amazing! The owner and coaches are professional, knowledgeable, encouraging, supportive - and fun! They emphasize correct form and are great about assisting with modifications to the workouts as necessary to make sure each person can accomplish their goals. Ive had numerous shoulder injuries and have been pleasantly surprised at just how much my mobility and strength have increased in just a few months. As a 58 year old woman, I wasnt sure what the vibe would be like, but the members run the gamut in age and experience and all are super friendly, encouraging and supportive - just like the coaches - making it a great place to be. I don’t think a short paragraph review does justice for this gym! Literally one of the BEST communities I have ever been apart of. Everyone tries to make sure you feel welcome, included in the group, and confident about being there. I have been doing CrossFit for 6 years and recently joined RCCF last year, and let me tell you the coaching is spot on. Each time I go in, the coaches do such a great job breaking down each movement and really emphasizing the importance of good form. The owners, Jeremy and Heather are angels; they are the nicest people who truly care about each individual that walks into the gym. From the moment I walked in I knew that this gym was the place for me! This gym is very community based and does lots of events together. The coaches are very professional, led by the 6 times games athlete Patrick Burke. Safety is key here and the coaches ensure that everyone within the class is performing the movements correctly and safely. Wonderful space and lots of parking. Great equipment and very clean! Whether you are just dropping in or looking for a new home MBS II is a great choice!
Wow talking about a great community. Ralston Creek Crossfit is a great place to be. Dont let the word Crossfit scare you away. The coaches are very knowledgeable and will teach you to build up your strength and form to make sure you learn it the correct and fun way. The gym also has a Yoga studio called Flow, where you can relax and find your inner self after a great workout. Everybody is very supportive and it will make you feel good being part of this family. Definitely worth to check out.
After being out of crossfit for a while due to a bad accident, I was reluctant to return. To say I was self conscious for a gazillion reasons is an understatement. This warm community of all the diverse levels & ages of members and coaches, and their friendly & supportive natures immediately make you feel welcome and proud of your individual accomplishments. They offer many programs to enhance your overall health and lifestyle choices. This in turn encourages you to strive and thrive in your wellness goals.

The coaches are so knowledgeable and friendly, the community is so amazing - so much fun and super supportive, the facility is beautiful with tons of equipment and immaculately clean and the programming is fantastic! Had a great experience here. Ive driven past this place on way home for years and wish I stopped in sooner....Did 1 month on-ramp and then signed up for membership. The coaches and members are simply great. People are motivated to get a great work out and supportive with an understanding everyone has different levels of fitness; were all there to improve and challenge ourselves. Nice camaraderie . Cant say enough about the coaches, they really make the experience. Ive mostly worked with Heather, Rich, Jeremy and Amanda. All knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. All like to have fun. I first came to MBS as a way to spend time with my son. But before long, I realized I was getting stronger and more confident. For those leery of CrossFit, I encourage you to try MBS. You wont be disappointed. It is the most efficient and effective way to become functionally fit. I joined MBS almost 2 months ago and it has been GREAT. I came in at a VERY beginner level meaning I was out of shape and new nothing about CrossFit. Their on-boarding program with Coach Heather is amazing...she gets you all the basics and makes sure you are comfortable before transitioning you into the classes. The people have been so welcoming and supportive and it is truly making a difference in my life. I would highly recommend MBS to anyone at ANY fitness level.

If youre looking for a safe and fun place to Crossfit then MBS is where you want to be! The coaches are great, very friendly and eager to share the knowledge to keep you safe while working out. They are great motivators! The programming will push you but is safe and effective, it just makes sense. All the workouts are offered at three different levels so even a beginner can participate. People here are nice to each other and encourage you to do and be your best. Ive been a member for a little over a month and have never been disappointed!
I have been member at MBS CrossFit in Arvada for a year now and I’m amazed at how far I’ve come. The coaching staff is amazing! They are incredibly knowledgeable and help you work toward your goals. I love how they really work on form and the progressions working up to skills. The MBS community is wonderful! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. This box is the best!
Ive been a cross fitter for a few years and have tried a few boxs. Plus I travel and hit gyms on the road. MBS is at the top! The coaching is great, the programming is tough and the community is the best. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a new gym or dropping in while traveling.
Overall I cant be more pleased with MBS CrossFit. I previously tried another CrossFit gym which I thought was good ... but now that experience doesnt even compare. The biggest difference to me is the orientation / on-ramping of new gym members. The first gym I went to was a bit all-in, learn as you go, with just a week of on-ramp classes. MBS on the other hand, provides a full month (3 days a week) of on-ramp classes for newbies. Thats a pretty helpful confidence booster if youre new to the sport or not in a gym environment much. And you can transition over to the standard class early if youre ready. Outside of that, all the coaches are incredibly helpful, friendly, and encouraging. Highly recommended.
Drop in and visit and you will see how great they are. When I joined here everyone was so welcoming I never felt like a stranger and better yet they have the best coaches! Very passionate and caring group of people.

RCCF is the best! My husband and I have been members for almost 2 years and absolutely love it. The atmosphere is welcoming whether youre a beginner or advanced athlete. Just, wow! Joining the CrossFit Arvada community was the best choice I could have made. I feel so welcomed and supported by every member. Its so empowering to be surrounded by a group of people who all want the same thing, and that is to be the best version of themselves possible! The coaches are phenomenal and dont allow you to give up on yourself, they push you through each workout with such motivation. Each coach and member are all so encouraging, and the atmosphere is totally uplifting. They truly represent what CrossFit is all about. After moving to the area and trying out other crossfit gyms, RCCF was the community we knew we wanted to be a part of. The coaching is AMAZING, even helping me modify movements at 9 months pregnant as well as helping me safely return to working out post baby. ‘The Creek’ is super inviting and welcoming, and we’ve made so many lifelong friends. Joining was one of the best decisions we made. DO IT!
The facility is great but it is the excellent coaches that really make this box rock! Knowledgeable and fun but most of all, they watch technique and assist to scale if needed. You truly are pushed to compete with yourself and nobody else.
I am on the best team in Team Heather. The best coach I have at the gym is Coach Breck who taught me a lot on the power snatch at Friday Night lights. The gym is a step up from the other place a block away!

My wife and I have been to other CrossFit gyms and have never felt like we belonged. At MBS CrossFit II, everyone greets you, encourages you during workouts and pushes you to do your very best. The coaching is absolutely amazing. Whether you have been doing CrossFit for a long time or just beginning you are always treated like a true athlete.
This place is AMAZE-BALLS! Ive been going for the last 13 weeks, and I cant believe the progress Ive made. The coaches here are top notch and scale everything to meet your individual goals/needs. I love this community! They feel like family and the coaches are very knowledgeable, they know what they are doing. Being injured, the coaches always find a way to adjust the exercises and make you succeed. They motivate you so you do not give up. I have been going constantly since September 2018. I have lost a lot of fat, 3 sizes down, and I can tell my muscles are building up. I never feel weak or unable to lift heavy objects (or kids :-) ). RCCF is very enjoyable because it is a lifestyle... its not some exercises you do one hour a day, they teach you to live a better life for you and those who surround you. RCCF ROCKS IT!
I have been a member of MBS CrossFit II in Arvada for the last 6 months and have nothing but good things to say. Whether you are completely new to CrossFit, or a seasoned veteran, the coaching staff will tailor each workout and movement to your needs with safety as the number one concern. The facility is top notch with a wide variety of excellent equipment and also room outside allowing for some fresh air.
I’d have to say the first thing I’d like to comment on are the Coaches at Ralston Creek CrossFit. I’ve learned and improved from each of their coaching tips in the last 10 months since I joined. This box has always got something extra going on. We just finished a 6 week challenge as a gym included food nutrition, the importance of sleep, giving back to our community, supplements, meditation and self-care. Four Physicians were brought in to talk with us about the importance of self care and nutrition. I’m changed from what I’ve learned the last 6 weeks. And my lifts are better with the help of the coaches. And I’ve got a solid group of people who I want to hang out with outside the gym. I’d say this place helps me win at life. Go Team! I Love this place!
MBS Crossfit is the best! I am new to Crossfit and was scared to death, but found the coaches and staff to be so nice and welcoming. The coaches are great at scaling the workouts to your ability and they make sure that you are safe, have fun, and of course get a great workout. I have been to both locations and have found that to be true for both of them. I have been there a few months and have already noticed a big difference in my strength and endurance. Highly recommended!!

Ralston Creek Cross Fit (RCCF) has an incredible coaching staff. I watch younger, fit people continually improving and reaching new goals with the coach’s help. I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I signed up for a 6 week challenge. I was a bit nervous at working out with others that are physically fit, but everyone that attends are welcoming and encouraging. I joined because my doctor recommended strengthening the muscles around my bad knees and hip to help push off surgery. The coaches adjust my workouts/movements to help me meet this goal while still challenging me. While I still have pain in my hip, my knees rarely bother me anymore. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been. No matter what shape you are in now, RCCF can help you become a better “you”.
Ralston Creek CrossFit has welcomed my entire family with open arms. We’ve taken advantage of traditional classes, personal training, teen classes, kids classes and nutrition counseling. You name it we’ve done it at RCCF. The coaches have all been amazing at meeting us where we are at and helping us to reach our goals. What we love most about the RCCF community is being able to fitness as a family while showing our kids that fitness is fun and lifelong. It’s really something special to watch your kids hit new goals and build confidence. We know we owe a lot of that growth to RCCF and the supportive community our kids are surrounded by. We have super hectic schedules but somehow always find time to meet as a family at RCCF - we don’t have to leave our kids at home which is a huge bonus! You will often find our entire family at the gym cheering on each other and encouraging all the other members. You might even spot my husband and son having a little friendly competition. We love the RCCF community and encourage you to take a chance with us!
Ive been doing CrossFit for over 3 years and have been to different CF boxes during that time. By far, MBS stands out above all the others. The coaching staff is top notch; you can tell how passionate they are and they truly want EVERYONE to succeed- not just the elite athletes. Every wod focuses on proper technique and no matter what the workout is, it is scalable for anyone. MBS has several highly qualified coaches that rotate in the weekly schedule. RCCF was such an amazing experience, the trainers are extremely knowledgeable and helpful with all styles of workouts. Wanted to pass along some good news and special thanks to the coaching staff of MBS Crossfit, I receive my blood work results today after 6 months of no prescription or OTC treatments for Reflux or cholesterol levels and Im in an ideal range according to my PCP. This was all a result of just some diet management and good old hard work every week at MBS CrossFit. First time in 13 years Ive been completely off of any pill form of health treatment. Thanks to all the MBS family for encouragement and outstanding instruction along the way!

When my wife and I moved to Colorado, finding a great CrossFit gym was high on our priority list. MBS is owned by Pat Burke, a multi-time CrossFit Games athlete. MBS II is run by the amazing Heather Young and you will not find a more friendly and caring coach. Weve been CrossFitters for over a decade and knew we were looking for a great community of good people and caring coaches. This place is everything you could want in a fitness community. Their beginner programs are inclusive and paced perfectly, the daily classes are challenging and constantly varied, and if you are a fire-breather you will find a great group of competitive athletes. We bought our house to be close to MBS and have never looked back. Try a class here - you will be very glad you did.

I had an appointment to interview for the new you six week challenge for April 21st at 12:45pm. When I showed up no one was there. Never receive a call back from Heather or anybody. I usually dont do reviews but was very angry I drove a very long distance to make it there.
MBS Crossfit II has a great community of like minded people who just want to be better at life. You can finish first or you can finish last but youll have people cheering you on til the end! Its an excellent group setting that still feels like you have your own personal trainer. Sure, you can go and join a globo-gym and end up sitting on your ass after a few visits of walking on a treadmill whilst reading a Good Housekeeping magazine -OR- you can join up at MBS and actually SEE results while having fun working out. Its not just exercise - its bettering yourself whether its through nutrition to working past your mental humps to just plain watching your clothes fit better. Just give it a shot for a week - you wont be disappointed!!
Ralston Creek CrossFit was my first introduction to CrossFit. The entire group is fun, encouraging, and enthusiastic. Support is a top priority. I am hooked!

I love my local box, not only is it 2 minutes from my house, but I love the coaches, people, kids, and WODs. You can be assured an amazing workout, no matter what - and the coaches are super helpful in offering modifications for anyone who needs them.

I am not a fan of gyms, I have never been. I’ve tried a few over the years, working out by myself, getting a personal trainer; it just isn’t my thing. My wife had told me to join RCCF, but you know when you wife tells you something, you do the opposite thing :-) so I did not join. My mantra was: I rather do exercise outside, bike, play tennis, ski.However a good friend of mine “gifted” me a 1month subscription to RCCF, not sure if she was trying to be subtle about something….anyway, so I tried it. And…let me tell you, it is not what I expected. I actually enjoy it! Workouts are different, if you are tired, busy or feel like not want to do the exercise one day, you skip it, no biggie. The next day there would be something different to try.I’ve lost 20lbs in 3 months, being honest not just from going to RCCF, but also eating better (cutting on delicious carbs a lot). But RCCF has helped not just be a slob loosing weight, I feel much better. I am usually pretty energetic person, but since going to RCCF I have even more energy. I sleep better too.I can see results on the bike as well, I feel a lot stronger, being able to do longer rides, more climbs and being faster. Skiing has improved a lot too, stronger legs, stronger core, let’s me not get sloppy on my form and enjoy a full day without getting tired. I havent played tennis this season, but I hope the fitness allows me to play better too.The crew at RCCF is great, they are all great athletes and in awesome shape, but they are not intimidating at all, everyone is very approachable, Jeremy, Val, Amy, Matt; they want you to do your best regardless of what other people do. There is a certain level of competition to encourage you to always improve yourself, but never too much where you feel bad. My fellow Cross-fitters are all nice, they motivate you, make you want to do one more rep, and come back the next day.RCCF is a great place to get healthier/stronger while having fun. I highly recommend it.

Several years ago, following a skiing injury in which I likely started a meniscus tear in my knee, I made the mistake of trying to do CrossFit classes at another gym and ended up fully tearing the meniscus at the end of a very tough workout. The injury put any serious physical activity on hold. Prior to the injury, I had been thoroughly enjoying CrossFit and starting to see quite dramatic physical benefits. I opted for repair surgery in late 2014. Despite the injury, I had seen the benefits of CrossFit and hoped to be able to resume CrossFit classes after the surgery.Frustratingly, it took until a week or two before the recent MBS CrossFit On-Ramp program, nearly 1.5 years after the surgery, to start feeling as if it had done anything at all to improve my knee or the constant nagging pain. While recuperating and while getting more and more frustrated and more and more out of shape, a neighbor I had been taking classes with at my previous CrossFit gym repeatedly told me she had stopped going to the previous gym and had started at MBS. She repeatedly encouraged me to do the same, citing:* Much more detailed technique instruction,* Much more instructor vigilance regarding individual technique and performance,* More attention to scaling/progression options for people struggling with difficult exercises,* Less pressure to complete workouts as prescribed,* More focus on individual progression via scaled/modified exercises within the general framework of the prescribed WODs, and* More social aspects and overall fun.Having just completed the 4 week, 12 class CrossFit On-Ramp program at MBS CrossFit II (Arvada), I am happy to report I fully agree on all points, and I have already started to enjoy visible body improvements and fitness/energy-level improvements.The instruction of all five coaches I was exposed to over the course of the program reflected close attention to each of these points, while still allowing for a bit of personal responsibility in regards to making decisions about what I should and should not be doing to avoid re-injuring my knee. There have been several occasions on which I have been instructed to do an alternate exercise or chose a lower weight than I might have otherwise selected. As one member that went through a similar injury and recovery advised, You just have to check your ego at the door!. Ive not once felt any pressure discouraging me from adhering to his sage advice.In the 4 weeks Ive been attending classes, Ive also noted the members seem very friendly and approachable, there seems to be regular nutrition challenges, and members have organized several social events (hikes, paintball, and a party) outside of the gym.I am excited about continuing CrossFit classes at MBS!
There is no better healthy community in Arvada than Ralston Creek CrossFit. The coaches are experienced, knowledgeable, and most of all friendly. It is a family friendly supportive gym. Unlike other CrossFit gyms I have attended, RCCF focuses on safety. All athletes warm up and cool down together led by a coach! The coaches break down EVERY movement before EVERY WOD. They dont simply put a warm up/cool down/WOD on the board and tell you to start. I cant emphasize enough the quality of this gym!!! Its AMAZING!!!

Great place to work out and the coaches are always making sure we are really warmed up and ready before the WOD. I highly recommend them! I am a beginner and was so nervous when I started but I wish I had gone sooner!
This is THE BEST box in Arvada and possibly all of the Denver Metro area. Members are treated like family not a number or a monthly payment.

MBS Crossfit did a great job with introducing me to Crossfit. I had never been to a session before and the opportunity came up where I could do the on-ramp course. I enjoy every minute of it, and it was an awesome experience!
The saying goes, ..not all boxes are the same. How true it is and I am glad I am part of the MBS II CrossFit community. The focus is on you as an athlete and how to become a more healthier and happier person. Every WOD includes individual attention, coaching and instruction on how to improve your workout and your health - including flexibility, mobility, proper warm-up, nutritional guidance and warm-down/stretching. It is never about beating a clock or fellow CrossFitter, its about getting better so you can live a long healthy lifestyle. Never have I experienced entire classes enjoy working out together including staying after and warming down/stretching together. At 55 years old, I have never felt better and free of pain - thank you MBS CrossFit II coaches, and I mean all of you!!!!!Scott
I cant say enough good things about MBS - I was extremely skeptical of crossfit after a previous experience, but I am so glad that I decided to give MBS a chance. The coaches, community, and atmosphere are awesome. Coaches spend time instructing and encouraging athletes of EVERY ability. If you have been intimidated to try crossfit or have had a not so great experience somewhere else give MBS a chance to change your mind. Extensive knee injuries/surgeries left me feeling pretty down and out physically, but after only 6 months of my MBS membership I feel like a totally different person. If you want to look and feel stronger, happier, and healthier give it a chance!

We tried a lot of crossfit gyms in the area before committing to RCCF, and were so happy that we did! The staff are what really make this place great. Not only are they super supportive for someone brand new to crossfit, but they make every workout challenging and fun!

I started at RCC when it was MBS and I have loved it since day one. I started out in the New You Program and transitioned to the more advanced classes after a couple of months.It has been nearly a year and a half and I havent even come close to getting bored or disinterested, in all actuality, I look forward to coming here and getting the bang for the buck that this Crossfit box offers.I have learned a lot from all of the coaches, staff, and the community of athletes. Everyone has been incredible throughout this journey and I only intend to learn more and become stronger.I would like to thank the RCC staff for making this a safe and FUN place to expel some stress, workout with a great team and make me feel a part of a great community. Couldnt ask for more.
Ive been doing Crossfit for just over a year and started with RCCF (formerly MBS Crossfit II) last summer. The whole environment is amazing - I love how supportive they are as a gym community, and the fact that they are so family friendly! The coaches are incredibly experienced and have helped me continue doing Crossfit throughout my pregnancy with all the proper modifications. This gym makes me want to keep coming back every single day.
I’ve been going to RCCF (formerly MBS) for a year now and it’s changed my life. I’m so glad my husband finally pushed me to walk through the door last summer. I still have so far to go with goals I want to achieve for myself, but I make slow and steady progress each week thanks to the amazing coaches and community that RCCF has created. I’ve tried other Crossfit gyms while traveling and they just aren’t the same and it makes me appreciate RCCF so much more when I return. Jeremy and Sam are great coaches and will help out no matter what level you’re at and no matter how hard you THINK the WOD is. The coaches and RCCF members have always made me feel included and welcome from the day I started. The WODs at RCCF are super fun and challenging at the same time. It’s also true what the coaches say - your nutrition is extremely important too! Once I started focusing on what I ate + Crossfit at RCCF, then I started to get stronger! Thanks RCCF!
Ralston Creek Crossfits coaching, programming and community really separates itself from the other crossfit gyms Ive visited. Im now coming up on completing my 3rd year and couldnt be more thankful for the personal growth, functional fitness and friendships Ive built since starting.I was bored spinning my tires with gym workouts. RCCF has been a fun, competitive and challenging way to break free of mundane training and see greater results. Excited to keep at it!
My experience at MBS ll has been nothing short of exceptional; coaches, members, equiptment, and programming included. I have been a member of the MBS family for two years now, and find myself always surprised by the diverse programming. It never gets easier! I appreciate being consistently challenged both with physical attributes and diet, but also by the (family) members of the gym. I have had opportunities over the years to visit crossfit boxes across the country, but truly none compare to my home gym, MBS. What they are offering is not a one sided look in health, but a multi dimensional learning opportunity to overall wellness. In addition to incomparable crossfit programming, I am also able to attend Flow yoga at the conjoined studio, seek out further mobility with a licensed chiropractor, and participate in diet challenges that teach different facets of training. If you are looking for a gym that lends you no friendships and anything short of amazing results, this is not the gym for you. I encourage you to stop by and see what all the fuss is about, Ill be there !
My first experience of MBS was on Memorial Day of 2017. I was invited to participate in one of CrossFit’s most anticipated workouts, Murph. At first step into the gym, I was welcomed into the family and then quickly joined the MBS community as a member after that day.I have had experience with two CrossFit gyms other than MBS. Both of these gyms’ focus was on packing weight and being “stronger” individuals. As a result, I injured my shoulder during a power clean. I was very discouraged and disappointed that I was pressured into packing an unreasonable amount of weight onto the bar without proper technique.My time at MBS was filled with excellent coaching and community support. MBS is not about hitting the “RX” or “getting jacked”. MBS CrossFit is about quality coaching and instruction on how to move efficiently and safely. With these factors into play, I was able to touch up my technique and grow in strength. Within three months, my backsquat PR grew by 40lbs and my clean PR grew by 60lbs.What I learned from the MBS community is that our bodies are able to push, pull, jump, run, lift, throw, and squat in any possible combination. I learned that quality is superior to quantity. I learned that muscle-ups aren’t hard with the assistance of False Grip technology. I learned that fitness is easy to achieve with the right approach. I am grateful to the coaching staff for pushing me to be a highly functional individual. I feel much stronger and a more holistic athlete after a short time.If you’re looking for a place to help you get to the CrossFit Games, a place to help you be a better athlete, a place to help you recover from an injury, a place to help you be healthier, a place to help you push your twins in the stroller, or a place to enhance your community experience, MBS is the place for you. This is what Crossfit IS! Felt welcomed and like I was a part of their community from the second I walked in the door! The coaching and programming is topnotch! You can tell right away that each coach truly cares about helping everyone become a better crossfit athlete, not just giving them a workout to complete. I feel challenged and pushed in every WOD, but never intimidated. Such a fun community of great athletes! I have personally been to most of the crossfit gyms in Arvada, and MBS is just a level above all the others!
I have always struggled with my weight. Add that to bad knees and asthma and you have a recipe for feeling constant failure when it comes to fitness and working out. That has changed at MBS Crossfit II. I began the New You (6-week) Challenge 10 weeks ago. After two weeks I was hooked. Day one I could not do a single squat below parallel, I couldnt do a lunge without gripping a bar for support and I couldnt do a single full sit up. 10 weeks later and I just completed the Crossfit Open accomplishing more than I ever though I could. I have accomplished 150 ft of walking lunges carrying 40 lbs in a single workout. I can do 50 sit ups in a workout. and just this morning I hit a personal record of 195 lbs on a back squat. And yes, I was below parallel. :-) Though my weight loss will still continue to be a journey, my body is getting stronger every day and I am losing inches. Most importantly, I have an emotional support system that constantly encourages me to be the best I can be including diet and life in general while always celebrating wins and encouraging me when I am challenged. In fact, Heather (co-owner) even checked in with me recently remembering that I had set a goal at the beginning to put myself first when it comes to health and wellness. Something I have long struggled with. I thought it was amazing that not only did she remember what that personal goal was, but she also took the time to reach out to me and see how I was doing towards it. I have to say, with everyones help at MBS Crossfit, I am well on my way towards that goal. I havent pulled off a pull up yet. But I know I will and I know Ill have many there to cheer me on when I do.
I cannot say enough positive things about MBS. I whole heartedly believe they deserve 10 stars!!Honestly, I was pretty intimidated to try Crossfit mostly worrying that I wouldnt fit in and I wouldnt be able to do the workouts. Well, I was wrong and now I regret not starting sooner!MBS made me feel at home from day 1. There was no awkward newbie transition. I joined a class my first day and never looked back!Reasons to try Crossfit at MBS-II1. Coaches - Knowledgable, friendly, supportive, motivating. I have worked mostly with Rich, Jeremy, and Amanda. All top notch! They take the extra time and go the extra mile. I have learned a lot from each of them. And, if you have little ones, the kids coaches and class is awesome too!2. FUN!!! - Should workout out be fun?? YES!!! This is the main reason I love this place. Is it challenging? Do I get an awesome, sweat dripping work out? YES and YES, but its fun! Camaraderie, supportiveness, cheering, high fives!! Its great to be surrounded by others with a common goal.3. Progress - Ive noticed an improvement in my mobility and endurance. And, best of all my strength. Having a coach that provides the correct instruction, helps to correct my form, and pushes me to keep going is why I NEEDED Crossfit in my life. I was going nowhere on my own.4. Scalability - Cant do a pull up? No problem. Push up? No Problem. Dont feel you are strong enough? Doesnt matter. Everything can be scaled to your level. All fitness levels can find a home here.Stop driving by and try it out!!
I am so impressed with our community at MBS II. From the experienced and well trained coaches who inspire, instruct, and encourage, to the mix of people and ages, MBS II has made my first Crossfit experience most positive. I am also impressed me with the inclusive atmosphere. Being one the older members, the encouragement, the high-fives, and overall positive culture of our MBS Crossfit coaches and members make the class challenging and just plain fun. Well done Crossfit MBS Arvada!!
I listened to all of the negative hype about Crossfit before stepping foot in MBS, such as the coaches scream at you and push you too far to the point of injury and its so competitive people puke all of the time and you have to pull cars -- you will definitely get hurt and finally, the crazies that do Crossfit are obsessed with Crossfit. Maybe these things are true at other boxes, but not at MBS! (Well all except or the obsession with Crossfit, which only comes because you feel SO amazing as your body and health are completely transformed!) The coaches at MBS do not scream at you -- they coach, and are incredible at it. They modify and adapt workouts for every individual and are always positive and encouraging. They are all experts and are well aware that fitness is not a one-size fits all. They respect and value every individual where they are and guide them as they navigate their fitness journey. Its not just about fitness, MBS provides a holistic approach to overall health and educate members on nutrition and mobility, as well. MBS is a welcoming community where great friendships are born! I have a whole new crew of folks who I look forward to seeing every day and who are encouraging and supportive. I am stronger, healthier, and happier than I have ever been and I owe it all to MBS Crossfit. I am so glad I didnt listen to the negative hype and stepped through that door!
Since first hearing about crossfit, and all the stereotypes that went with it, I was skeptical (to say the least) that it would ever be for me. After getting bored with the same old workout splits, and getting frustrated because I felt my motivation to hit the gym lagging, I came in to MBS to talk to a coach. Stacey immediately had me intrigued and put me through a modified workout on the spot. I was instantly hooked. Its cardio + strength training + a support team of athletes all busting their butts to be in the best shape they can. It was amazing. The coaches at MBS are incredible and shatter any crossfit myth about breeding a culture of quantity of reps over quality. The coaches are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and make you want to work harder. Its structured so that every athlete, from any background can do the workouts and MBS coaches make sure you are doing it correctly to avoid any injury. As I said, I never thought in a million years I would write a positive review about crossfit, but MBS has been an amazing experience and it comes highly recommended from this former crossfit skeptic.
I had an appointment at this location for the new you 6 week challenge on Friday the 21st at 12:45 once I arrived at the location no one was there. I drove a very far distance to make it to this appointment was very upset that no one was there never received a call to reschedule or anything.
I go to RCCF since Fall 2018 and I love the group of coaches they have as well as the diversity of athletes (mothers, fathers, older youth). They make you feel welcome from the start.My opinion about Crosfit is that it is a super complete exercise for all audiences and RCCF is the perfect place to do it safely and fun!
