Much better than I had expected! Truly above and beyond! Many people commented about how smoothly the funeral went. Could not have been any better. From Anton, the funeral director, to Kara the cemetery person, who went out of her way to find the perfect burial site. To the DVD of pictures with the pictures and prayers on the front and back covers, to the DVD itself with pictures of the church mixed in and Ave Maria playing in the background. To Anton running out after the reception to hand me the death certificates. All were very special.

I rarely share poor reviews but I have been so disappointed with the service received from Moore. My father passed May 2021 and we placed a custom marker on his grave. That was taken up because of the policy requirements, which I understand and respect.A few weeks later, we visited and saw a Moore temporary marker of SOMEONE ELSE’S name on my father’s grave. We felt sickened to our stomach. It took a few days after consistent calling to get our complaint recorded to the associate, and she said this would be fixed ASAP.5 days after that interaction, we had family fly into town from out of state to view my father’s grave. We walk over and see that the wrong name plate is STILL on my father’s grave, even after the phone conversation with Moore. We felt ashamed to our guests and that pain is instilled within my mother and me. The reason why we placed a temporary marker of our own is so THIS issue wouldn’t happen. I am disheartened by the carelessness of Moore for allowing this confusion of their name markers to happen. If you want your loved one to be remembered and honored, I’m not sure if this is the right place. Especially after being assured this issue would be fixed but then seeing no actions to justify words.

Planning a funeral for a loved one is never easy, and personally I had never been through the process before. However, the staff at Moore was extremely helpful, compassionate, and professional. They worked with us every step of the way to plan and execute a beautiful and meaningful service for my beloved grandmother. They helped in the process of picking out our casket, flowers, and the program. They set up the service beautifully the day of. I want to specifically thank Joseph, Anton, and Nicole. They scanned all of our pictures, edited the program, and overall provided excellent service at a grim time like this.

I was wandering aimlessly in the general vicinity but couldn’t find them. I looked up and saw a beautiful Angel who asked me if she could help in any way. Amal Womack was this angels name. She was able to locate Stuart and Betty for me. In finding Stuart’s marker, we noticed there was remnants of a visiting bird and Amal quickly sprang into action in calling for help in cleaning the mess up. Alan, Louis and Guierllmo were there in a flash!! With courtesy and grace, these gentleman were able to place the vase upright and repair the connecting chain. The guidance Cindy provided in our selection of the casket, vault and choices of specific flowers and their colors was detailed and even anticipated what our family wanted for Mother’s arrangements. My sister passed away close to 10 months now and her grave is still unmarked. It’s so sad to come and visit her without any markers on her grave. Expected Moore to at least mark her grave with a cross or a temporary sign until her headstone is available. She’s resting there without any markers, and it’s just heartbreaking. We tried marking her grave with a metal engraved plaque and that was also plucked out and taken away. Please mark the graves with Moore approved sign until their headstones arrived.

I honestly feel that the majority of the staff cares about what they do. I did not use Moore for anything except the burial and services. Everything else, preparation/visitation was handled by another group. My mother passed in May-2020 and her service was held in early June. As I mentioned in my opening line... I feel the majority of the staff do care and strive to make the experience as comforting as possible. The family representative that was assigned to our family however, left me with uneasiness, frustration and confusion. She was more concerned with making sure that I knew I would be getting a survey and to be sure and make good comments ! SHE LITERALLY said this to me as we were walking from the selected gravesite back to the building. Well, I never received the survey. But then I had to call today because there was supposed to be a vase at the marker and several of my family members have commented there is no vase. Apparently, the vase is turned upside down --- BUT no one ever told us this. This is a tiny detail but really -- communicate these things to the family. I dont want to say that the entirety of Moore Funeral Home operates this way.... but I plan on requesting that a different family representative help us with any future business.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. When my grandmother died, they dragged my family through hell. When going to show my grandfather the plot that he had already picked out and paid for years ago, they did it at dusk and spent a while searching for it. The man was in a walker and was so exasperated and upset by the end of it. We had so many issues with them from scheduling, plot placement, to the headstone. It took months to get the headstone in place, which while I understand it can take a while to be made, theres no reason for such a long wait. When I went to the office to ask about it, I was told that itll take time and theyll let us know when its done, handed q business card, and escorted out. They offered no condolences or apologies for the unexplained wait, and the man was cold the entire time while speaking to me. Two years later, my granddad passed. They were still a nightmare to deal with. And a year after his burial, they still had yet to put his date of death plate and flower holder on the headstone. A whole year. When asked about that, they gave no explanation for it. And those plates arent custom made, theres no reason they should take that long to just place it. The man served in the Navy, and they cant respect him, his wife, or his living family enough to do what theyve been paid to do, and in a timely manner. Theyre disrespected them in death, and disrespected the remaining family. They made what were already two devastating losses a loving nightmare. There is nothing they can do to repair how they handled this, and I sincerely hope they do not treat every other family this way. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor, and stay as far away as possible.

Unfortunately lately we been having nothing but Horrible experiences with Moore Funeral home, recently my little bother passed and there is not a day that my mother doesnt go to his gravesite, and I cant even tell you the number the of times that my mother has called me crying because the employees at the cemetery have picked up his stuff and literally just thrown them away!! (This is NOT around specific cleaning dates) they have thrown away rosaries, crosses, lights, small key chains that some of his friends bring him as souvenirs from a trip, they are not big items!!. a few weeks ago they threw away a small cross and rosary, went she went to the office to ask for it they sent her to the back dumpster to look for it!! Why is my mother having to go to the dumpster to pick out a cross and a rosary!??. They will also go out of their way to accommodate other families and called them to have them pick up their love ones stuff, but cant bother to call or tell her to pick it them if she is there. Just Today they threw away a 4x6 small plaque I had made for him with a picture and poem! went we my mother went to the office to ask for it back they were not able to return it back to her, instead she was told to go back tomorrow! I have a list of names of employees that just seem not even care! overall is very upsetting when you get something for a love one and not knowing if it will even be there the next day! we have paid a lot for my bothers lot and we are currently paying on two more lots next to him, They just want your money and after that they will ignore you and just not seem to care for a grieving mother.

My family came to Moore during the most difficult time of our lives. We expected them to care for our loved one, and provide us with services synonymous with funeral homes. They delivered on those expectations. If this review was only about what we expected and what they delivered, it would be short and really not worth writing, and even less worthy of reading. This review is about our funeral director, Bill Reeves. While we worked with several people at Moore, all of whom were professional, courteous, and beyond reproach; it was Bill who made our experience worth writing. Bill went beyond the call of duty. When we were lost in a fog of decisions and indecisions, Bill lead us back to light with his experience, knowledge, patience, and compassion. Where he could have easily taken advantage of us, he chose to be our champion. He took our vision, and he made it the celebration that our baby deserved. “Funeral Director” is not an appropriate noun for what Bill was to us during those few days where he was part of our lives. He provided counsel, he provided strength, he provided faith, but most importantly, he provided peace. While I hope that you may never need a funeral home, and a funeral director; when the time comes, please come to Moore for what you want, and ask for Bill for what you need.

So sorry if misspelled it) approached me and helped direct me to my friends gravesite. Im sure I looked lost and flustered. Even though I wasnt there as a customer or somebody who was in need of funeral services, she took the time to help me connect with a recently departed friend. The world needs more compassion like that. If Sulma is a reflection of this staff then I cannot help but to recommend this venue. We have had two recent burials at Moore Memorial Gardens. The service and communication were excellent. Jena and Valenti were helpful and thoughtful. They were easy to work with and were dedicated to helping us in a difficult time. Thanks to the entire staff but especially to Jena and Valenti.

Moore Funeral Home supports the Arlington Police Department by donating wreaths for each fallen officer. I have been the benovelant officer for the Arlington Police Association for over three years, and every End of Watch wreath I order is beautiful and of the highest quality. Casey has been my go to person for over a year and his customer service is exceptional. Casey understands the importance of these wreaths to the police families and goes above and beyond each and every time. The Arlington Police Association is forever grateful for their generosity.

My family and I could not have asked for a better team to help us go through all the details and arrangements of my fathers unexpected passing last month. The folks at Moore demonstrate a balance of professionalism with care and compassion. From the first time we walked into the facilities to the moment we walked out onto the grounds, we were met with people who were willing to help and provide a supportive experience through such a difficult time. Many thanks to Casey, Shane, Nicole, Malcolm, and Alan!

My experience with Moore Funeral home has been outstanding. I felt immediately cared for by Susie Sorrelle and Leah Jordan. Their compassion and attention to detail are amazing. The Air Force chaplain recommended by Susie was da bomb... My Father had a wonderful military funeral! I am still being cared for by Susie... Appreciate you more than words can express.

This review is 5 stars solely because of Jena Dooley, she has brought amazing customer service to this location. My mom has been buried at this location since 2001. Customer service has always been lacking, mainly with getting the pole to place flowers near the top of the mausoleums. I met Jena earlier in 2018. She makes life so much easier and her customer service is top shelf. If you have any problems with this locations, just ask to work with Jena.

Very impressed with Moore Funeral Home...We had to plan my moms funeral on a Tues. morning for a Wed. afternoon viewing and funeral. The funeral director really accommodated our request for a one-day turnaround when they had availability. They were very flexible allowing us to customize our package. On the day of the viewing and funeral service, they had the programs, thank you cards, and other printed materials ready on such short notice. They set up the flowers that were delivered. We were running late cleaning up over 30 mins. after the funeral and the 2 attendants assigned to our funeral were very patient with us as they helped with loading our vehicles. We were very pleased with the staff and the South Chapel. It was very spacious with a large reception area and its own restrooms. It was a great way to honor mom and celebrate her life.

Highly recommend the staff at this location. The attentiveness I received from Jena Dooley recently was exceptional. Want to also mention the groundskeepers, who were so kind in maintaining the 6 gravesites I visited before Thanksgiving, some even while I was at the location. Such kindness at a time when it counts most is much appreciated.

My family and I where very impressed with the professional service we received from Valenti and Raven upon the passing of our mother. Valenti and Raven met with us and walked us through the arrangements with love and care. Valenti followed up with us after the service to make sure every final detail was taken care of. I highly recommend Moore Funeral Home and Valenti Thomas to everyone.
