My husband took our 6 year old to get a haircut to be ready in time for school. We didt pay close attention leaving the shop and examine the hair but I looks like they were in a hurry to do whatever to hes hair and didnt know what they were doing. If the barber didnt feel comfortable with my sons hair texture he should have passed it on to someone else. Our son is mixed Mexican&black and is looking like some nibbled on hes head with the clippers and left him with an extra buzz on the side. We tried this place out for the first time and I was expecting awesome results since I seen good reviews but sadly disappointed. Customer service was good super friendly and all but the cut was just not it.

In Dallas yesterday and needed an impromptu haircut. Found this barbershop and really liked it. The barbers were very friendly and excellent at cutting hair. I highly recommend. Although, I wish I were a boy again so I could get a haircut with sick edges and lines like the other kids in the shop!

I’m embarrassed by the haircut I just received. I’m from out of town and I’m here for training for my new job. I was put up in a hotel near this barbershop. I checked their reviews and thought this place would be perfect because of the location and great reviews from previous people. I decided to bring a co worker with me because he was in the hotel and needed a haircut too.When I got in, we were promptly sat for our haircuts. I appreciated the timely assistance.However, the end result was horrible for both of us. I was very specific about what I wanted and the barber decided to do his own thing. He faded my entire head up to my crown when I asked for a low fade, all even around, with my hair curl sponged at the top and sides.He ended up cutting my sides off and creating this horrible Mohawk look which is definitely not the look I was trying to achieve. What I actually wanted is a simple cut that I’ve had for months now.Literally, he would’ve did a better job at just lining me up and keeping the length of my hair the way it was versus this military buzz cut hair style he just gave me.Btw, my day job has a lot to do with my image and how I look. I have a very important meeting tomorrow and the quality of this work killed my confidence.To make matters worse, my friend had another barber in this shop and he hated his “line up” cut. Yes, a simple line up turned into a disaster for him too. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I’m usually open to second chances, but this experience was enough to dictate that this shop isn’t keeping up with barber techniques and advancing skill sets.

I was running late for an event one Friday evening and needed a last minute haircut. The owner made sure I was well taken care of. Not only did check to see if I had been assisted already, he cut my hair very professionally and in a timely manner once I explained to him I was in a hurry. It is always nerve wrecking stepping into a new barber shop, you never know the quality of service you might receive having a different barber cut your hair. I will definitely be back.

My daughter and I were looking for a barber for my two grandsons. Was told about this place and decided to check it out. Great move and advice! Nice atmosphere and the barber was courteous and great with the boys. He did a great job and the cuts were exactly as my daughter instructed. We found our barbershop for my grandsons!

This barbershop has a really good environment. Everyone is nice, respectful, and friendly with kids. Been going here for over 2 years and the staff has pretty much stayed the same. myself and my 2 boys get our hair cut here. We always get what we ask for and if you see something you dont like theyre willing to fix it. The only downside side is that there is no appointments. Its first come first serve. So wait times can get long especially on weekends. Theres a few Barbers who can accommodate walk-ins but sometimes they get backed up. I suggest finding your Barbers busy and slow times. I go early in the morning right when they open. That guarantees Im first or either second.

Great experience here. Got a cut and beard trip. If you are looking for a fancy place etc. this is not the spot. but if you want a good cut with no frills by professionals then this is the place.Travelling on business and found this spot via google maps. Popped in to give them a try as my beard (growing it out) and everything including my eyebrows were getting bushy.The owner Kevin took me right away. Took his time with everything especially cleaning up the birds nest on my face! He definitely went the extra mile I didnt have to ask for anything he took care of it all including eyebrows etc.Have not had a good barber experience like that in some time. Really refreshing to have professionals take care of you. Very happy with everything and would recommend. I will certainly try to hit them up next time I am in town.On a side note the place was packed by the time I left so seems like is a good neighborhood spot. I always view that as good sign.

I come from Australia and wanted to get cleaned up for a night out in Arlington, these guys deffinately did an awesome job with helping me out.

My son just got his first haircut here by the barber, Kyran. He did an excellent job! He was very patient and understanding with my 4 year old son. He even allowed him to take breaks and bought him donuts. The environment is nice and calm. Multiple TVs. They even put it on cartoons to make it more comfortable for us. Highly recommend!!

Best barbershop in town. Friendly service all the barbers are professional and respectful. They accommodate to your needs far as whatever haircut you want and is pretty clean for the most part. Only down side is sometimes the waits can get hectic but that’s like any other barbershop or business period but I recommend it to anybody lookin to get a fresh cut and shout out my barber kt get me right every time

The shop is a hoping place. Enjoy watching football and listening to banter between everyone. Definitely a hometown barbershop feel. Haircuts average $15 for simple cuts. I didnt need a Mohawk so not sure what that price is. Will be back.

Went in the a shop to get a haircut that I was referred to go from the desk agent at the hotel. I sat there over 2 hours and none of the barbers ever asked if I was waiting on one of them or wanted to take my money. Not only I sat there but the owner allowed a young teen that He decided to counsel skip in front of me after the fact he came in after I had been seating in the waiting room..I’m highly disappointed And will never step A foot in that barbershop The mentoring part is why I gave a 1 star. If you out of town and not a Regular than keep googling or save your TIME! This place should be called Tight Edge Trash Cuts..

Visiting from Odessa Tx and decided to stop by for my husband and sons haircuts. Professional staff and hands down the best taper fade my boys have ever received. I will return when Im back in the Arlington area. The haircuts are worth every penny. Ive never seen my husband with such a big smile after a haircut.

I gave this place a two not because the quality of the barbers is bad. In fact, Ive loved every single haircut Ive gotten from this place. The reason for the two is simply because the barbers here dont know how to say hello to anyone that walks in who is new (or even returning), they dont take your name down or put it on a list for the next available barber, and finally I literally today sat down and talked to a barber to get my hair done only to have him pick someone else who got there after me. BIG SHOUTOUT to Brian, the barber in the back left corner. Out of the three times I have gone to Tight Edge, he has always seen me and told me how many people were in front of me and took me on time. The man is an artist and awesome. If you go here, go for Brian.

I sat there and waited two and a half hours while they called every walk-in around me. The head barber was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. The shop was incredibly dirty and not taken care of. Wish I couldve had my haircut. That might have made all the difference. But they were too busy talking to eachother about drinking and pu**y. After almost waiting three hours patiently, I left. What a waste of time.

Never would i come back here again i sat there for more than 2 in a half hours waiting for a cut and i came in before, the 7 other people walked in and they skipped me over and over again i got there at 130 cause it said they closed at 3 i sat there until about 5 and they still skipped me and people that came after me went, i waisted time there and i had somewhere to go. It was a big waste of time!
