Justin was working on a Monday which is good because most barbers are closed on Monday. I’m working here from out of town and needed to get my haircut. Awesome shop and very clean. Justin is what you want out of a barber; good conversation, professional and takes time to get it right. Do yourself a solid and let him give you a straight razor shave with a hot towel.

Great place to get your hair cut. Walked right in and sat down. Justin did an amazing job and was great to talk to. The price is also excellent. Ill definitely be coming back here again.

I’ve been going to this barber shop for every week since July and haven’t wanted to go anywhere else since then. If you want an amazing fade, Dino’s got your back. He’s been cutting my hair for about 1-2 months and I always look the best. If you like the look and feeling of an old barbershop, this is your place. These are amazing and professional people that love their job.

Old Tyme always delivers with quality haircut and a reasonable price! I’ve been going there since they opened, and have never been disappointed. Kent gave me a flattop just yesterday. They’re very sanitary, and are following all the recommended Covid protocols.

Great place. Small shop and probably gets crazy busy during peak times but I managed to visit mid morning on a Friday and got in immediately. Barber I saw did an amazing job and took a good amount of time making sure it was all done right too. Well worth the $15 of the haircut. Will definitely be back.

Kent is awesome

The overall environment has an old school feel with a modern touch. Every hair cut I received here has been a low to mid bald fade and all have been done very well. It is kept fairly clean. The experience can change due to what barbers are present when you decide to come but most are friendly and will work with you to find what you like. The regular customers I have seen are friendly.

There are only 2 chairs so I called and Kent told me that they were no busy. I arrived about 15 minutes later and was seated right away. Kent did a great job and it was a cool atmosphere. Best haircut Ive ever had and it was $15. Ill be back.

After moving back into the Arlington area I decided to check out this barbershop and Im glad that I did. Since my first walk-in, David has taken care of me and I always leave his barbershop looking sharp. He operates a clean and tidy shop and has a really welcoming and professional staff. Stopped by on a Sunday 3-11-2018 @ 4:05, I realize that they close at 5:00, but the young barber, rudely refused to cut my hair. If he would have at least been respectful about it and explained he just didn’t have time. I guess Old Tyme Barber Shop isn’t old time service.

Above average barbershop! Best haircut since I got out of the Corps! I travel a lot, so letting a stranger cut my hair always makes me nervous. David (I think) delivered big time, trimmed my beard a all. If your from out of town a need a cut this is the place. The atmosphere is great too, everyone shooting the breeze like we were old friend. If there is a wait, its worth it!

Best barber shop in town. I have been coming here ever since David took over the shop. I told all my friends at UTA to try it out and now all of them come here as well. Recently, I got married and David and his crew cut all my groomsmen’s hair and had us looking clean for the wedding. If you try it out, you will not be disappointed. David and his crew truly care about their customers.

I feel I was over-charged. They dont stay open until 7 and turned away 3 people while I was getting mine cut. The cut isnt bad but I do feel they should specify their pricing and hours more accurately.

This place is amazing. I came by in the morning on a Sunday, not realising the day. They obviously werent open. As I sat on my phone trying to find another place that was open when the owner showed up, told me to come back after work and hed give me a haircut. I came back after I got off, and he opened the store up just for me and gave me an amazing haircut. Ive been going to this shop for the past two months or so, but this place and the service it provides takes the cake. Highly recommended.

Best Barber shop in town, best faders and tapers period. Davids the owner, really nice and friendly guy. Dont expect to walk in and not wait, just call ahead atleast a day and you should be just fine. Also cash only no card

Owner realized he was incompetent in the style I requested half way through. Demanded full 20$ cash price when I have paid 15$ card every time in the past 10 months. Allowed me to leave to leave to get cash and recommended a nearby ATM about ten minutes round-trip. Owner immediately called, left VM and text me threatening to call cops unless I returned in the next five minutes.
