Consistently great cuts! Ive tried other places that have been good, but Marys Barber Shop is the only one Ive never gotten a bad haircut, no matter who cuts my hair. Highly recommend.

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted and taken care of A to Z. Their prices are reasonable. You get a neck massage to go along with the cut. Im new to the area and tried several places to no avail. This place is my go to now.

Very nice employees. However, she used to finish up with hot towel which I loved, but she does not do that anymore. Every time I get a fresh haircut, I have to go to my car and wash my face and ears with water.

I’ve gone to this barbershop three separate times. The second time going there was to fix the first haircut. I made the mistake of going there for a third time today and my hair was completely butchered. I showed the barber pictures from a previous haircut of exactly what I wanted. Somehow, they still managed to completely ruin my hair. Doing the exact opposite of what I asked. In addition to ruining my hairstyle, she brushed over my forehead so aggressively that I started bleeding.

I hardly write reviews but it was absolutely amazing! I’ve taken my 2 year old to several kids places and his hair always looked rushed an generic. I was beyond impressed. We walked in and everyone greeted him warmly. She took her time and even used a warm towel with him. He was like a little man! The price was even better! I will definitely be taking him there from now on. I’m so glad I found them!

I have been going here monthly for several years. Mary and Linda are the best. Great attention to detail and very responsive. The hot shave around the ears and neck is hard-to-find and greatly appreciated. It’s as good or better than any haircuts I got during 25 years in the military. If you crave the personalized service of an old-school shave and a haircut, Mary’s Barber Shop is the place for you!

Im very particular about my haircuts, been to several places in the area and this one is amazing. You really get high quality here, and youre practically robbing them for the price they charge. They just get my haircut exactly right the first time, in one session.

For the price, not bad. First time there. Less than half the cost of my prior place. The shop is clean and there’s decent parking nearby. As far as the haircut, it was ok. Took two passes to get close to the length I asked for and usually get elsewhere and it’s still not quite right after showing a picture on my phone. At that point, there’s no ambiguity.Straight razor on the back of the neck was perfunctory and didn’t actually shave the area that grows hair. The post-cut “scalp massage” was kind of weird. Barber used Nivea moisturizer and massaged hard for about two minutes in two circles on my forehead. Not sure why? Same on back of neck. They didn’t ask me if I wanted moisturizer - if they did I would have said no way. That stuff clogs pores on my face very quickly. The scalp massage was kind of like running fingers through the hair on top of my head and that’s it. Reminded me of what towel drying my hair felt like. Really wasn’t a massage.Very little conversation and a little difficult to communicate - an obvious language barrier. Not a huge deal - I’m paying for a haircut and not a therapy session. Still, a little conversation would make the experience feel less transactional. Even so, the staff was pleasant.At the end of the day, my hair is cut, it doesn’t look terrible (I’ve had much worse) and the price was very reasonable, especially with the cash discount. Not sure I will personally be back, but I’m very picky. It’s definitely going to be a fine experience for nearly everyone else.

I’ve been to a dozen barber shops since moving to NoVA, all good but not great. Today, I found great! At Mary’s Barber Shop. Terrific service, ultra clean, highly skilled, and affordable rates. Highly recommended and will be making this my regular shop. Five-star.

Super easy and little hassle to make reservations. I’ve been more than happy every time I’ve gone to get my hair cut. I can’t speak for other barbers but Mary has been amazing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good cut in a good amount of time.

I am very particular about how I like my haircut. Marys barbershop is the only one that does it the way I like. The prices are awesome, and the ladies that work here are the best!I wont get my hair cut anywhere else!

Every male haircut includes a head massage (which is amazing), hot lather straight-razor cut of your sideburns & neck and a free bottle of water on your way out. Weekends can get crowded, so I suggest going on a weekday. If you have to go on a weekend, you can call ahead and make an appointment with the barber of your choice.

Just go there, you will not be disappointed.
