My two sons got their hair cut by Darrin. It was long overdue. They had a good experience! We are new to this area. We picked this place by the reviews and convenience of scheduling an appointment. I have use this barber shop twice because we are new here. And I need a barber for my son. First time I paid 20 for a Reg cut. Sec time I paid 30 for special cut. No where on website does it say extra for design but it’s understandable. My thing is To me design is include in a special cut. I feel like that was not right and would now look for somewhere else for my son. Some just didn’t sit well with me about that. But oh well. But I will not go back. I was told by Darrin that it was extra on Sunday. Special cut on Sunday say 30. So what is so special if you not getting a design I’m confused.Reply: Never did I curse you. That a lie but I most definitely have located someone and you right all business not good.

One Saturday afternoon I was looking for a barber to cut my sons hair and I looked on google and GameChangers popped up and I decided to go with them because they was the only shop that be available on Sundays Darrin has been such a blessing to my boys! I have a 4 year old and It was hard to find him a barber because he WONT sit still for NOBODY lol But lucky Darrin have patience and he listens to him so Darrin was able to cut his hair and have full control when my son comes in and able to without it being any fuss or hassle about getting his haircut! I drive an hour just to bring my 4 boys to get a haircut with Eric who is a great barber. He takes pride in his work and won’t allow u to leave unsatisfied. I have mix kids so they each have different hair textures. I definitely recommend him to anyone.

The sign on the door says walk ins welcome. I have tried twice to get a cut here.The first time it was 2 hours before the time the close and was told they are about to close.The second time, there was no one in the shop at all, and was told he was “too busy”. Giving a 3 because my last visit wasnt good. My husband and both of my sons came here a few times. My 2 year had his first haircut. Eric was asking for us to put a mask on my 2 year old, they dont even make him do that when I take him to the doctor because they know a kid that small is not going to keep a mask on. I believe the barber was frustrated because his client before us was late causing him to be behind. I feel like the barber was taking his frustration out on the kids. He didnt finish lining my baby up, I know it was his first time and he was screaming and crying but he didnt even try. My husband has razor bumps which he never gets, and I really dont like the way he cut my sons mohawk. The people are really nice but that will be our last time coming

The experience was good. Very nice people there. My fiancé got a touch up which was decent but once I got on the car I realized that my cut was messed up. The hair was uneven on top, I had long parts of my hair still there and my part that he made was crooked. For a touch up and a regular cut, we paid 77$ Which is a lot of money. Btw Y’all really shouldn’t charge people to sponge their hair. I did go to another barbershop to get it fixed which was good.

GameChangers Barbershop, LLC is clean and professional environment, they greeted me when I walked in and checked in with me as I waited to be seen. Eric did an excellent job and I will be returning to the shop.

The experience was okay, nothing special they’re very COVID safe but overall my opinion is they charge a lot.

First thing, first. Darrin got me in and out on a Sunday!!!! SUNDAY!!! One of the only barbershops opened on a Sunday. First time meeting Darrin, and he made great conversation, very professional and he is a true barber. The man gave me a bald fade, that made everyone do a double take.He gave me the best haircut, ever. I was very pleased and referred multiple people to get a cut from him. You won’t be disappointed!!

I took my 6 year old son here. The shop is nice and clean, even the restroom was decent enough for a lady to use. I like the atmosphere. The problem that I have was that no one was able to cut kids hair. My son had to get in two different chairs to have his cut completed. After that, I still had to have my husband take my son back there (within 2 hours) to have his cut corrected. They tried to charge him all over again. The owner did step in and waive the charge. Im not certain as to why a barber would charge twice to fix a mistake that was clearly made by the previous two barbers. No apology was issued. I will not bring my son back here. I also do not recommend this barbershop for children hair cuts especially if your son likes designs as no one here had the capability to do designs. Hopefully they hire someone who can real soon.

I moved to the Irving area about a year ago for my temporary work assignment, and I found Clint by chance on a google search in the area close to where I found my apartment. Man I can’t say enough good things about my barber Darrin. Great barber and even better person. I was going to Darrin when he was in Irving and he had the blessing of opening his own shop in Arlington. I hated that he was moving but the quality of my hair cuts and the person he is I had to follow him. I live in Addison and it takes me about 40 minutes to get to the new shop but I’ll be making that trip every time I need a cut. You can go around looking for the right barber for you but I’ll save you the time and suggest you go check it out I promise you won’t be disappointed.
