Steve did such a great job renting one of our apartment in our 2 family, we had him rent the second apartment. He made sure the tenants were well screened before showing. We have had no problems with the tenants he found and they have paid their rents on time. Screening is the most important step when renting out a property and Steve did a great job with that step. It took a little longer to get our apartments rented but having good tenants was worth the wait. I high,y recommend the rental group for landlords.

BEWARE! SCAMMERS!These guys are the absolute worst, that being said if you like your apartments to be infested with mice then talk to these guys ! I had the displeasure of working with Blaise who is only looking to steal your money by putting you in a apartment infested with mice ! Nothing about him or the company is genuine don’t fall for there scams this company is a joke and a scam. STAY FAR AWAY

My partner and I worked with Frank from The Rental Group and had such a lovely experience! The service was professional, friendly, and punctual. Frank was just a phone call away and never hesitated to remind us that we could call him with any questions. I originally inquired about an apartment that had just been rented, so Frank mentioned another place coming down the pike that hadnt been posted yet. He got us the first appointment and now we have our beautiful dream apartment! And its the best deal Ive seen after 4 years of living in the Greater Boston Area. We are so grateful for the kindness and respect we were shown and would definitely recommend working with Frank.

Great group, was very helpful in finding a place and turning around my application. Moving in was a bit delayed, but that is more of an issue with the landlord than the company. The company was very transparent about this and kept me in the loop. Highly recommend, especially Louise.

Called an agent today by the name of Steve and he was very unprofessional and has absolutely no interest in helping me at all. Turned me off from the entire place completely and I will be taking my business elsewhere. I definitely dont recommend this place. Wish I read the reviews before I even bothered calling.

Victor was very kind to me. He moved the process along swiftly and I have no complaints. I cant wait to move into my new place!!!

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.I will never use The Rental Group again. I rented a horrendous apartment through them 4 years ago and figured they had to have improved since then...This time I worked with Frank. From moment one, he was unprofessional. I felt played right away, but figured thats part of the real estate game in Boston. Frank did not communicate consistently and it took forever to get a copy of my lease.We set an appointment to meet the landlord and get keys. Frank kept me waiting more than an hour, without a phone call (I had to call him more than once), and no landlord in sight. He also promised that the landlord would take care of x, y and z BEFORE I moved in. Ive been here almost a week, and only one thing had been taken care of.Lastly, a lady just showed up to see another apartment in the building (with Frank) and he seems to have stood them up, too! Seriously? The Rental Group is trash.Im just hoping that this absolutely appalling transaction is not a reflection on the landlord.

Victor Lattanzi is very rude and unprofessional. When I told him that I am not interested in places other than the one I requested, he hanged up the phone. I called him again and simply told me that he busy renting other apartments. He could simply end the call that he made nicely and politely, however he decided to rude. If you keep an agent such as Victor, you reputation will be slammed with reviewers.

This place has a bad reputation, and Ive had the displeasure of dealing with them before. Though my agent was polite, I was misled repeatedly about the place I was renting. The ad I answered mentioned parking was potentially available. Then it turned out there was no spot in the lot, but there would be when the landlord repaved it a few months into my new lease term. Since Arlington has no street parking overnight, this posed a serious problem. They told me I could instead park in a church lot across the street, that they had an agreement with the church. This turned out to not be true (which I learned after visiting the church and inquiring there). I finally got them to urge the landlord to repave the lot early, but then had to agree to a $50/mo increase in my rent for something initially advertised. It wasnt the end of my dealings, as they handled my landlords lease renewals too. I was snapped at when I pushed back on exorbitant rent increase, told I should be grateful, told to move if I didnt like it. A few years later, my boyfriend moved here to be closer to me and also dealt with Rental Group (which cant be helped because they have a monopoly in this Town) and much of the same thing occurred. They misled him about a bunch of stuff in the apt he was looking at--said parking came with it (when in fact its not guaranteed), mentioned he needed to put a down payment on a parking lot gate that they knew had been broken for years, said that he could control the heat in his apt with the thermostat when in fact he has no control over it (and it gets into the 90s in the winter because they blast it, despite that that is a blatant code violation). Again, Rental Group has a monopoly in Arlington. They know the places they are selling and yet arent forthright about it, in order to get their fee. Its a problem. I coordinate a Tenants Advocacy group in Arlington, and many of the members have dealt with RG, none with positive things to say. Be warned and double check everything they say about the units they are trying to get you to rent, because the truth is slippery for them.
