I hate to give this place a 5 stars because its getting harder to book appointment! Sarge is one of the nicest and most talented barber Ive been to. Every time I show up he gets it right, even when I wanted to try something new, he always make sure you leave happy. I was paying $50-$70 for haircuts before this and none of them came close to this place.

Highly recommended. Mary cleaned up my long overdue fade perfectly. She was quick, yet entirely meticulous, and its noticeable that she cares about the high quality of her work. She suggested I go a little shorter due to my thinning hair and it turned out fantastic. Super satisfied overall and Ive received nothing but compliments all day long. I was able to get a full fade, a straight razor neck shave, as well as a nose hair waxing all within my lunch break without issue. Will definitely be coming by again! Thanks Mary:)

Received an excellent short taper haircut from Mary. She is very detailed and spends the time in creating an excellent haircut based upon what you asked for. She does offer suggestions to consider both before and during the haircut. She is very pleasant while giving the haircut. She also does modern fade haircuts and witness the guy before me getting a good quality fade. Highly recommend 👍🏼

I have been coming to EJ’s for over a year and I have to say, the quality of work that Sarge gives is the reason why I keep coming back. After reading some of the reviews below, I don’t understand how a person could give a two Star rating with no comments. That is just rude and in called for. If you want a good haircut for literally half the price ($15) of any other barber shop in this area, look no further than Sarge. Sarge really likes his job and he always enjoys giving you a haircut. He takes his time and always talks to you. If youre a new client, Sarge will tell you what hes doing at every step. So you can feel comfortable with how hes cutting your hair. If you dont like your cut or if you see anything wrong with it, tell him. He will fix whatever issues you have with the cut until youre happy with it. Sarge gives good fades and I always go with a low fade. I would definitely recommend coming here if you want a fade or just a good cut in general.

I took my husband to Sarge yesterday for a beard and haircut trim. We both feel Sarge is a fantastic barber. He uses traditional tools of a straight razor and scissors for hair. He does have and offer electric hair trimmer as well but my husband likes the old fashioned way. Sarge was super friendly and took his time and gave suggestions on shape and cut level of the beard. He made sure that my husband was satisfied with the length and cut. If you are looking for a nice surprise of a precision cut, beard trim or anything else, Sarge is the barber to go to! Because it is an owner run shop the overhead is low resulting in paying considerably less for services. The shop is clean and they are very professional. Easy parking as well.

I had been waiting since March 17th right around when the pandemic began to get my haircut again with Sarge! I had been counting the days, and so when the green light was given, for the end of the stay-at-home order on May 29th, I made my appointment! Once again, Sarge did not disappoint, and gave me a fantastic fade haircut and beard service! Sarge is the only barber I go to, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new professional barber.

Great cut, fast and friendly. No SuperBroSportCuts, this is a real barber shop for fades and straight razor. Gmaps gives bad directions so be aware its not the apartment parking lot but on the other end of it. Just call for directions, Sarge is awesome.
