Great selection of choices. They definitely have a little bit of everything. Can be extremely crowded at times but thats because their food is actually very decent. Great customer service and have always had an excellent experience here.

I didnt give five stars because there was only one checkout open at 5 pm. Also, there were a lot of empty dishes on the hot bar. However, the staff was extremely friendly, the food was great, and I would definitely go here again. The man that bussed the tables was amazing. If everyone had his attitude the world would be a better place. He deserves kudos.

Came with family for my sons birthday. What 19 year old doesnt love a buffet? Was clean and food was tasty and stocked well. Im not sure if he was a manager or just a regular employee, but one gentleman there was a hoot! Joking with customers and singing Christmas tunes as he cleared tables and refilled drinks. Definitely added to the atmosphere!

Restaurant was filthy. (The tables in the picture were left like that for a very long time, still in that condition when I left). We couldnt get silverware or refills unless we searched for a server. Completely out of cheese and chocolate milk, food quality was not great. Conditions were unacceptable for a $70 meal.

The food is always good the coffee is delicious and the price for the seniors is excellent thankyou very much Golden Corral.

Mostly clean. Friendly staff! Decent food. Pretty good selection. Warm enough for the most part. Pricing seems maybe a little bit high for the quality, but overall an acceptable place for lunch or dinner (especially for younger children since the dining area is always pretty loud). We typically only stop in once or twice a year & receive consistent service.

The quality of the food here is exceptional. I think everyone agrees that Golden Corral has really upped its game. You can see and pick whatever you want. You can take as much or as little as you want. No waiting. They do have healthy choices. Okay... Its not fine dining atmosphere. But the staff are cheerful and helpful. if you think about all of the advantages, the price its pretty reasonable. There really isnt any risk that youre going to go away feeling dissatisfied because you went to some restaurant, took a chance and ordered a dish and then didnt like it.

Mashed potatoes cold like they came from the cooler. Manager yelling at customers telling them where to sit. Ice cream area had no hot fudge or sprinkles. Floors absolutely atrocious. Condiments missing. Fried fish was like rubber. Over seasoned stuffing. We have been here before and have had decent experiences, this time was complete garbage.

I really enjoyed my family time with my sister because I had so many options when I empowered myself to add additional ingredients so effortlessly easy it was almost criminal culinary its almost unjustsed to how jealous I made my sister. And the part of great the restaurant delivers and its answering eat as much as you can handle on replay. Thank you Golden Corral as I wish you much success and prosperity ...

I used to be so hyped to eat at Golden Coral. The food used to be edible! The last 2x I ate here I had food poisoning. Now, its no different than the poorly run Chinese buffets in the area. The food is rarely brought out fresh, and if it runs out, you are SOL. This place needs to reduce the price for the quality of food and service they provide. Environment feels like a funeral home and the staff isnt helpful.

Currently sitting in the Golden corral in Appleton and not impressed at all, to start off we were here 2 hours before 4:00 and yet we were still charged the weekend dinner price so instead of our meal being roughly $10 like it should have been we were charged 18.50 per person instead of the normal lunch rate, which even their sign in the building says that dinner starts after 4:00 P.M. on top of that the food choices are slim to none, nothing looks appetizing and most of the food that is out looks old or is empty and not replaced, not many options and charged the wrong price for the wrong times. This is not worth almost $40 for me and my girlfriend to sit and eat lunch together, I wanted to give it 0 stars but Google wouldnt let me. Im sad to see how this place has declined and I will not be coming back again especially because of the exorbitant pricing for the quality of food they have.

The whole place smelt kind of weird, wasnt all that clean. food was just fine. Not sure what else to expect from a Golden Corral. You go there for lots of food and variety and that is what they provide, but not much else. Despite the variety, not a ton of healthy or vegetarian options, but was still able to find enough options to make for a good meal.

Sorry I think you have low quality meat, I do however like and enjoy your meatloaf.. the food is cold, like the green bean casserole and other things. Nice staff I think your sever Laura is very kind and helpful.. weve seen her many times before..

Food is good most of the time but the chance over takes to long sometimes. If they would put their dinner rolls in a wicker basket on the warming tray in stead of just on the tray the bottom of the rolls wouldnt be hard as a rock. And I just love the rolls.

Had not been to Golden Corral in many years and decided to stop for a quick lunch. A lot of items were empty and what was there looked sad and unappealing, and it tasted like it. Dessert area was impressive though and waitstaff was attentive.

Its cheap plentiful buffet. I frequently must avoid this place due to a medical condition after 3 visits and those dining adventures leading to medical treatment due to my personal health background I avoid. Doesnt help half my family gets sick dining here we added it to our list of places to avoid

They have so much food there that is so good. Sometimes service is a little off but most of the time it is a good experience for me and my family. You can schedule a room to yourself for your party. They have a salad section, a soup section, a grill section, a pizza section, a pasta section, and a dessert section ( with 6 different flavors of ice cream and some soft serve!)

The Corral is always a good place to eat. Lots of good food, many choices and can never get enough dessert. LOL. Sorry no pics today, but had a great day in Appleton.

The crew was awesome.. we were celebrating a birthday & arrived literally 20 minutes b4 close.. they were completely attentive, making certain we had access to anything that we desired even though they had begun breaking the stations down.. the grill cook made us fresh steaks and the dessert bar made sure that we had the chocolate fountain and all of the fruit that we possibly could have wanted.. It was unbelievable customer service, from the gals who checked us in all the way to the very end with the server who was attending our table, I have never been so impressed

What you see is what you get. You can go to their website and get ingredients&calories. They are buffet style and dont pretend to be more. Much better than fast food. Worth the price.

Servers leave something to be desired. Those who have been there for a while are good. New ones should have more training and a little more ambition. If they would wear better fitting uniforms they may be able to work better. Cleaning the floor with your to long pants is not what should be done. If you can finish your meal and not even have plates picked up or coffee served when there are only 8 tables in your section and 4 of them are empty there is something wrong.

They most have had some pretty big changes in this location, because the place looked a lot cleaner up to date the food all look and tasted very fresh! All the staff people also looked clean well mannered, happy and friendly. I really liked the change. Great job Golden corral. Will be back with family and friends.

It is a typical Golden Corral. it has an efficient layout to get people through the buffet into their tables. The buffet has lots and lots fresh made American food as well as a little variety from other countries. You will not be able to taste one of everything. There is a wide variety to choose from. Some people will sit near the desert area and Sample a desert each time the Bell Rings there. Ive not been able to fill my plate with one of every dessert. The stakes they serve a good meat cooked well.

Went for dinner around 6p on a Tuesday n there was no Mac n cheese chocolate milk mellow yellow or fried chicken. The mashed potatoes looked like they were there since lunch time.the salad bar was 1/2 empty along with spilled food from other customers. Not the 1st time it has looked like this or they were out of food

It was ok. Not as good as previous visits. I like the variety of foods. Was fairly busy so maybe thats why allot of dishes were empty. Also the dessert bar is more of a chocolate fountain dipping thing than it is a variety of good old American dessert..the selection of pies and cakes has dwindled.

The food was good. It was just messy, but also super busy when we went. The staff were very very nice and energetic.

I sat in GC for almost an hour. NO ONE bothered to greet me at our table. They didnt come grab our plates until our table was overflowing with them. They finally came and explained they didnt know whos session we were but regardless we spent the whole time without a server ....

Over the years Ive been here a few times a year. Its okay for variety but the quality of the food is hit-or-miss. There have been maybe two times where Ive thought the food was outstanding, but its mostly just sustenance with choices at a fair price. Lately, they seem under-staffed. Plates pile up, tables are left dirty, glasses remain empty. The staff are friendly and upbeat, but they seem overtaxed.

Food is always fresh, if its not they quickly replace it. Wide range of food. Place is keep clean and food is great. Lot of different kinds and fresh. Parking is good. I think customers should tip better. The one that is clearing your table is how they make their biggest part of their pay.

I very much appreciated that Golden Corral gave military veterans a free meal on 12 Nov in recognition of Veterans Day. I enjoyed the company of the people in line that invited me to join them at their table because I was there by my self. I enjoyed the wait staff and especially the volunteer kids that were there to also help out the wait staff on this very busy occasion. Overall, it was a great experience!

Im putting in a retraction. I liked Golden Corral, so we all went back. Huge mistake. They were serving Prime Rib. The piece they served to my 10 year old grandson almost made me sick, to look at it. Due to a misunderstanding at our table I didnt get to go up and say anything to the man that put that pig slop on my grandsons plate. But he seriously should have lost his job over it. Why would anyone serve an 8oz piece of fat to a paying customer? ESPECIALLY WHEN THE CUSTOMER IS 10 YEARS OLD!! I cannot imagine ever going back to be disrespected like that again. It makes me ill when I think about what this individual is doing behind the scenes, in the kitchen. If thats how he behaves out in front serving, what is supposed to be a high end meat. He should be ashamed of himself. And Golden Corral should be more selective in their hiring process.

Today, the breakfast wasnt so great. A lot of items were overcooked and hard. The bacon had a weird taste, hard to describe but almost swiney. The ham and blueberry pancakes were good, cant say much for the rest of the food.

Good food at a fair price. Lots of variety. Everyone in our group found something they liked.

The steak had good flavor but it was very tough very hard to chew.it took a while for them to refill all the empty dishes. The dessert bar was picked over. The fried shrimp was very greasy. The only thing I liked was the mashed potatoes and the Bourbon Street chicken. The weight staff was very nice very friendly but the food selection and availability needs to improve.

Fruit and salad was fresh and crisp. I liked the made to order omelets. Large variety of breakfast options. Bacon, sausage patties and links, pancakes, omelets all at a reasonable price.

Poor quality of entrees, much less in options than in the psst.There seems to be an emphasis on breakfast items, which sit under the heat lights.Ice cream was delicious.There are better dining options in the area.

Top notch buffet food at Golden Corral. Maybe not as good as a casino buffet but the best Ive found at a commercial buffet. The smoked pulled pork was excellent and so were the ingredients at the Mexican food section. The pork made great tacos!

I always love coming here. I took my dad here last week. Its a good place to get a wide variety of really good food and to be able to sit and talk for as long as you want.The food was great. They had a shrimp theme when I went. My favorite was the shrimp tacos. The server was friendly and watched our drinks too see if we were out. The price isnt too bad. Its about $10-12/person depending on your age. Overall Id definitely come back.

We had a fantastic waitress. She had the biggest mess to deal with from one family alone and she was still very pleasant to us. She was absolutely running her buns off just from that one family of slobs. Im as cheap as they get but I saw well she handled everything I purposely left an extra generous tip. I completed her and I also found a supervisor and told him how great she was. I wish I would have gotten her name so the owners would see what a great job she was doing. This was the evening of February 9 hopefully that will help you point her out and show your appreciation of her hard working. I would go as far as say give her a raise more than just a pat on the back.

I love this place! The manager came up as we where getting a gum ball and said whats your favorite color? My little sister than said Blue he than said If you get a blue gumball you can have a free meal ticket she got a blue gumball and he was so happy for her. They have amazing breakfast and cant wait to go again😊

Some of my relatives and I meet once a month to keep in touch and catch up. Golden Corral has a room they allow us to use for our get together. Then theres the food! Delicious! Some times we gab through breakfast right into lunch! Lol! Golden Corral has such a variety of delicious items to choose from. Soups, salads, meats, fish...and dont forget all the desserts!

Our first time and it was truley great. I only say this when I mean it, that they, provided us with a fun EXPERIENCE. So this place had great food and we were pleasantly surprised at the selection. My husband especially enjoyed the all you can eat fresh off the grill steak. My children enjoyed the entire buffet. No fake flavors or additive tastes, it really was delicious. But the staff!!! They were even better!! One gentlemen was walking around working constantly, singing, you could tell he enjoyed his job. My youngest (12) told him, I like your singing, and that is when the true experience began with NBA conversation. Our oldest chose this place as it was his 14th Birthday and the staff all came around and Whooped it up with a fun Birthday shout out. Thank you so much to the entire Appleton, WI, staff for engaging us in this entertaining time.

Food is alright. Good for a buffet. Plenty of options for most including near l meat. Personally not a fan of the options. Plenty of food to stuff yourself with. Service was poor. Waiter introduced himself, then wed have to ask if we wanted anything else, including most refills. Birthday song that they do is pretty awesome though! Especially to a 7 year old

My husband and I were there at 4:00 for supper on Friday the 9th of August 2019.No open tables and No signs up for seating. My husband counted 16 empty supper entree’s.Basically Nothing to eat but cold food, dried up food.I asked where was the food, some guy from the back ignored me and acted like he didn’t know what I was saying.. told him we paid $29. For supper, where was the food!! Everyone was walking around and waiting for food.Awful what little old food was left from lunch.

Food quality was not up to par. I would rather have paid more for better food. I do remember there food being much better years ago. Probably wont go back.

Seemed to have many less items than usual. We were there Sunday morning at 10, and they werent cooking their usual steak. They also werent replenishing items like normal. Our waitress was absolutely great, tho!

Great steak. Salad bar fresh and delicious with a lot of variety. The hot bar was full stock with various items and flavors.The dessert bar was not impressive. The ladies were very rude to my nephews when they asked for cotton candy. Even more frustrating is they did not speak or understand English. My nephews were very disappointed.

This place has went downhill bad. No one even introduced themselves as our waitress, the food selection was horrible! They usually have more ice cream then the soft serve but they didnt and the soft serve was broke. No toppings food smeared everywhere looked like no one washed the counters all day. OMG so disappointed and will never step foot in this place ever again. Not to mention the service and their attitudes were just horrible!!!!!!!

The food is great as always. But theres a new big fat greasy ugly nasty manager in there that barks orders at the employees and talks to them like theyre trash. He keeps a angry, mean, look on his face and i cant imagine why anyone would hire that beast to wash dishes let alone manage humans??!!! Turns my stomach to walk in and see him there. I hope they get rid of him soon. I think hes gonna run off all the good wait staff and loyal customers. What a joke.

The Golden Corral in Appleton was very disappointing. The chefs were sweating around the food. There was a gigantic dirty water puddle on the ground in the kitchen that all the workers just walked through, that is also a safety issue. There wasn’t much food that looked edible due to presentation. The plates were dirty and my food wasn’t anything to talk about. I would never go back. The manager had his blue shirt half hanging out of his pants, he looked like he was half ready for work. This place is not worth the money we paid at $15 a person.

Traveled here from Madison with a 67-person delegation of international students. A wonderful experience - in addition to the buffet, they provided dozens of bags of cotton candy for our delegation, and were extremely kind, patient, and upbeat as we checked out. Definitely a 5/5 experience!

Food was good. Section of trays werent clean but that can happen. Really crowded but again not their fault. Seating in theory works but in practice does not. they have the tables and chairs so close to each other that you are hitting each other when you try to get food.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Greeter at front door was extremely rude. Food was cold and not good. Sat for 1/2 hour with no refills and no one ever came to do them. Would never return. Would never recommend. I love a great steak dinner! The steak at Golden Corral wasnt even a Good steak much less a Great steak! Our Party of Three were remembering when Country Kitchen and Bonanza was in the Appleton area. Now those places had Great steaks!! I wont be back to Golden Corral again.

Food was good but most fast food places are cleaner. As the price is higher I expect better and cleaner places to sit and eat. Perhaps a place to return empty dishes and get your new one so you dont always look at the mountains of dishes with half eaten food all over the place. Food was good just kinda put off the rest the process. I do know it is ayce but does have kinda high price for it.

Golden Corral used to be nice. Flavours were Off. This time, food was very bland, overly salty, or battered heavily. For 14$ it couldve been better.

Brought my boyfriend there on 7/16/19 for his birthday because thats where he wanted to go . When we got home that night I got the chills and the runs so bad I had a fever of 102.8 and such stomach pains. The only thing different I ate different then he ate was I ate raw shrimp, seafood salad,and fried shrimp so the one of the seafood was bad because my boyfriend didnt get sick. I was fine before we got there.

How can you beat all you can eat steak made to order? Oh yeah top that with all the sides and alternatives. Sure not as great as a top notch steak place but good for the cost.

From the kitchen to the bathroom I witnessed someone carrying a plunger. Then from the bathroom Beck to the kitchen area ( through the dining room ) dripping. My medium rare stake was cold and purple. Also my fathers medum well stake was also purple. Outside looked good inside was rare to raw. Not a good experience!

Recently visited this location in Appleton, Wisconsin. The most I can say for this particular restaurant is it needs some improvements. I understand that their employees probably dont make much more then minimum wage. Which is why they appear to not care about the customers or the food they serve. Also need improvements in food presentation. And cleaning.

Its pretty good food. Great variety, so you can find what you want, usually.Theyre wheelchair accessible, however the doors do NOT have openers; I call that an oversight of obvious needs.

No one at the registers...waited until someone showed up. She ran card through reader and nothing happened, this was mid afternoon and it was slow. Waited and waited and waited while she ran card through reader again. Left and as I was going through the exit doors she shouts that it read my card. Too late. I dont know what happened here, but I got the impression cashier didnt know what she was doing.

Usually have no issues but found hair in my pot roast then my friend who got some after me also found it in hers. When I told them basically they said it couldnt have come from them but possibly people getting their food. I was given part of my money back but I only had a drink. Couldnt eat after that.
