D2 Sports Pub is not just an ordinary pub in Appleton Wisconsin. They are one of a kind and unique in their own way. The staff treats each customer that walks through their doors like family. The current operating manager, Brent, goes out above and beyond to make sure that you have an experience that makes you want to come back every time you are in town. D2 has an atmosphere for everyone. From house music to country music, you will find something you like. I 10/10 recommend stopping in here to have a good mixer after work or a fun night out with your pals. Dont forget they also have a great food menu with many options as well. Their kitchen staff cooks to impress and they always do. Overall, you cant go wrong stopping at D2!

Katie was amazing is an amazing server!! I She has made our time here extremely fun! She’s w phenomenal employee!I highly recommend everyone who wants to have a good time to come and visit D 2 sports club. People are fun, and the live music is outstanding. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. Great atmosphere and tremendous staff!

My husband liked his burger and fries but the Chicken Salad was less than desirable - not Mixed greens - old lettuce.

Visited D2s on August 20th, Very nice outdoor patio bar. Bartender was very friendly for visiting Chicago Bears fans.

Great service, decent deals. Always a lot of fun, would like to see the floors less slippery, but that is just as much as adults being responsible and respectful of the establishment. Love the bar tenders always a smile and a safe evening

Katie was so wonderful and easy to work with my special request. I can tell she has a loving and kind heart. We will request her next time. She is worth more than she is getting paid Im sure. Kept us here longer.

Open at 11:00 for lunch on weekdays. We strolled College Ave for 3 blocks before we found & open restaurant. The food was delicious & service was attentive & friendly!

Outside area is nice, staff is friendly. Music is a bit out dated but nice kool place.

I usually avoid bars on college avenue but I gave it a try. The environment, atmosphere and ambiance were top notch. Cant say anything bad about the bartenders and whatnot. Just one of those times I felt supremely out of place. 46 years old surrounded by an ocean of about 50 or so 21year olds feels a tad bit weird. So being honest, my one star is only because I felt soooooo out of place. Strictly clientele only. Anyone over 40 would probably feel the same. Pretty nice bar though with a sweet outdoor area. Its just a college avenue thing. BUT, I am going to up this from one to three stars.

Very Nice Bar to watch sporting events! Tons of TVs, Great Food, I totally would recommend their Pizza, Its Very VERY good! Although their French Fries are amazing too!

Best place to drink with friends and watch the game.

We recently hosted a leukemia benefit for our niece at D2. The owner, Brent, went above and beyond helping us every step of the way in planning, set up, and during the event. His staff is super helpful and fun! Bar staff was great! Kitchen set up a taco bar for us and it was so so delicious! Definitely would host any event here!!

Kind of boring bar…bartenders seem to be too busy with their “regulars” and/or friends to tend to the party of women I came with.Business and money taken elsewhere.Disappointing amount of bugs all over the place was super unappetizing 🤢

A bit on the slow side. Food was OK but they had dinky cups leading to us needing more cups overall and with each cup, we needed straws so a big waste. Consider pitchers of water for big groups.

The DJ outside was amazing!! Took my son out for his 21st and a half bday celebration and we danced for hours!

The staff at D2 are phenomenal. D2 is open and inviting on both floors and has an awesome patio. The food and drinks are spot on! I can’t recommend it enough.

My office gets food from here every once in a while, and its pretty good. A bit better than regular bar food.

This is probably the go to spot to get sloshed to the point of no return from. Being hammered at D2 is like being trashed in a European night club. Perfect outdoor seating, fantastic lit downstairs that is always turnt, and the upstairs is a raging night club.And thats not even mentioning the dope ability to watch your drunk homies try to walk the street from the outside patio with those perfect glass windows. Its an all around hella good time.

In my opinion I think their grade is in their name. I would give it a D so that equates to two stars. The service was so so. The food wasnt that great. Im not sure if the Pepsi I had was real Pepsi, it tasted like an off-brand . The bathrooms in the outdoor area are not great my friend that was with me said the womens bathroom was missing a door on one of the stalls and there is no toilet paper in the other stall. It just seemed kind of dingy out on the patio. I hate to give a place this lower-ranking but I think they need to make some improvements.

Its a nice bar but the music is incredibly holding it back. If they focused less on DJ-ing and more just playing what most people enjoy, then it would be as busy as other bars on College...

I was there for the first time on Tuesday. We were very impressed with our service and food. It was taco night, and they were awesome. Katie was such an awesome bartender and server. She made us feel very welcome. We had gone to another establishment down the road and left because they were not welcoming at all, and I’m so glad we came to D2 instead.!!We sat outside. I am from Madison and was visiting my sisters. Will definitely be back sometime down the road. Again, Katie was wonderful. Thank you!! 😇

Nice outside area, clean, dim lit relaxing inside, bartender(she) was polite. Definitely revisit this place next time in town.

I will not be back. Overpacked, dirty bathrooms. Slow service. Nothing good to show here in my opinion.

The drinks there were better downstairs than upstairs..larger and better quality. I noticed after a very short time they started overcharging for drinks thinking people were too drunk to notice....not cool.... i also had wings there that were really good and ok price. But again with the taking of cash they saw on the counter and making mistakes with the amounts. . Clean overall girls were nice but all the guys were kinda jerks. Wont go there again.

Good party bar with tons of TVs if you come in for a game. Big outdoor patio with a bar also.

The guys that go to D2S do not appreciate weak drinks, happy hour or not! We left one bar because of weak drinks, we can leave D2s also. Come on, we are your customers. Treat us like you appreciate the business.

Nice clean place with easy to see sports on large tvs. We each ordered sandwiches that were generous sized. No daily special but great menu choices. Sandwiches came with a choice side or soup. Soup was delicious. Waitress offered several popular sandwich choices when asked. Fun personnel. Metered parking on the street out front. Would definitely come back if in town again.

D2 has always been my bar of choice! Very fun in the spring and summer time when they have the patio open. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for fun place to hangout.

Fun place to dance upstairs, but a little pricey. Of course I usually go to cheap bars, so my frame of reference is little skewed.

This bar is 2 levels, dance floor and bar on both upstairs and downstairs. Seating and tables downstairs, pool table, good staff. What more can I say, its a bar on the Ave. One of the better ones.

Not the cheapest bar in downtown Appleton, but it makes up for it with live djs on the weekends and ample space for socializing and dancing (upstairs and downstairs). Not the cleanest establishment, with some of the furniture being in rickety condition, but still a nice spot to stop on a bar crawl!

I had a quick lunch here while attending a local convention. It was my first time visiting and I was literally the only customer for a while but everything was clean and comfortable and the bartender who served me was very nice. The BLT I ordered arrived within minutes and tasted great so my overall experience was very pleasing. Thanks D2!

I wish I could leave no stars. The bartender was not friendly and he insisted on watching a cubs documentary even though we asked to have music played. He told us that he would put music on after he was done watching the documentary. I wosh i caught his name but I didnt. (He did have a lisp) Im not trying to be mean but that is the only distinguishing thing about him.EDIT: His name is Matt.

We got the appetizer combo it was delicious and well priced. Then we ordered drinks which were terrible and over priced. I watched her pour a splash of alcohol in mine amd my boyfriends. His captain and coke was just coke and its was $9. No thanks there are better places to be.

It was a good time there they had good music there... but there bartenders need to work on a few things like check there end bars to see if anyone needed drinks or if one bartender is working on the there customer and another walk up to the same one person and holds a conversation with them then they will not serve me cuz all they want to do is talk... Im sorry I rate this bar a three.......

We sprung a last minute party on them (D2) and it was a blast. Everything was kind of up in the air. Working with Brent and his staff was great. Very accommodating and our guests had a blast. The guest of honor said she hadn’t had that much fun in a long time. Thank you Brent and the D2 staff for a memorable evening

I went with my friend for a work party and the food was delicious and the patio area was nice and spacious. However I have been there at night and its definitely not my jam. But if you like to dance and listen to current music its a great place to go.

This Sports Bar knocks it out of the park! We had excellent food, my husband had the Chicken Alfredo and it was a large serving and very tasty. I had the Philly and it was awesome, loved that they didnt overcook the peppers and that they still had a slight crunch in them. Drinks were good and the bartenders were very friendly and fun to chat with. What more could you ask for. Be sure to say hi to Brent, he will be sure that you are satisfied so give it a try. We will be back for sure.

Great upstairs system and sound

Great place for a late night out. The outdoor venue is one of the best in town, and drinks arent too expensive. Inside is a little meh, but it can be over looked because the rest of the experience.

My favorite bar of all! I may be biased.. but just the best place to spend your Saturday night! amazing, friendly staff.. great place to dance upstairs or just hangout with friends downstairs.. probably the best patio in Appleton! Love this place!!

We ate supper here, as it is directly across from the Theater, where we would be seeing a play. We had a great burger here, as well as good beer. The Staff is really friendly.

All the employees were very nice! They have good nachos there and it is a nice place to hangout with family and friends! They have two dart boards, a giant jenga, and two bag game sets. Lots of fun and a great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend coming here.

I can’t believe how rude the bartenders/bouncers are here... I always have given this bar the benefit of the doubt but after multiple times of bartenders or workers with attitudes I’m done going to this bar... can not believe how rude they are here....Sorry excuse for a downtown bar compared to other ones on the ave.. I will not be returning here.

They play a great mixture of music

Fun place. Upper and lower bars as well as outdoor bar and set up shot areas. Girls came around with shot trays also. Bouncers were quick to help with a situation we had. Fun place to dance

We stopped in tonight (a Friday in early May) they had the Hobbit playing with no one sitting at the bar.. they had the option of NHL playoffs, NBA playoffs, the BREWERS game (which we asked to turn on) but were left with the Hobbit.. after ordering a beer and asking the bartender to turn on the game the bartender served our beer and went back to her phone ignoring our request.. slammed that beer so fast and got out of there.. how does one call themselves a sports bar and have the Hobbit playing during playoff season and baseball season.. plenty of staff too so cant put it all on the bartender.

Boyfriend bought himself a Budweiser and myself a cranberry vodka. Went to close the tab and it was $18.50 and the bartender claimed this was for a domestic beer and THREE rail drinks? I had only one drink the whole time we were there, and when asking the them, they just offered us a shot.... our bill should have been no more than $8.50. Not going here anymore because this type of stuff seems to happen a lot here...

We stopped in yesterday and enjoyed our conversation with the staff and it was a friendly atmosphere. Good prices and prompt service.

My wife and her friends love to go to this place and dance. The lower-level dancing draws a wide age range of people. The music accommodates the all-ages crowd. Upstairs is very crowded and is more popular with the younger crowd.

The food is alright and the drinks arent too bad. Prices are average. Nothing to get excited about and nothing to complain about, just your average sports bar.

If you love dancing, grabbing a drink, meeting up with friends and waiting an hour to do each. Youll love it there.

Outdoor court yard is a nice pace to grab a bite to eat and a cold beer.

They lost my friend and Is debit cards. We were both there for 2-3 hours and had a tab open. We went to leave D2 for the night and they said we didnt have a tab open and that we never gave them our cards! If we never gave them our cards, who was paying for our drinks that night?! The bartender was extremely rude to us during this whole encounter. They still couldnt find our cards after closing and we were told they didnt have authorization to view the security cameras. We both canceled our debits cards the following day and low and behold we both had charges from D2. So it proves that they did have our cards that night because they charged us! Either one of the bartenders stole our cards, or they closed our tab and gave our cards to the wrong people. Just to top it all off someone used my card at a bar a few doors down and charges almost $150 on it. By far this was the worst experience at a bar I have ever had. I would give 0 stars if I could.

This place is AMAZING! Where else can you watch a game, get amazing food (they have a full menu ... its WAY MORE than just bar food .. its a full out restaurant), enjoy the patio with a nice looking mini fireplace & socialize in downtown Appleton. My favorite Appleton Downtown nightlife destination hands down.

Last night we had a fish fry. 2 little piece of perch lot of breading. Not very good. Here now for badger game and lunch. Do not order the gyros. They are terrible. Cant eat the pickles either. Drinks are ok.

The outdoor space is nice in good weather. Music is good if you like that overplayed commercial party stuff. Lots of young drunk fake people if youre into that sort of thing.

They says my id dont look like me( I have no makeup on my id, but I had makeup on last night). They took it away from me. I have to call a cop to come and get it for me. Yet they wouldnt let me stay inside . It was cold. Thank God its 30 not below 0. I understand they are doing their job, but not letting me stay in side the door until cop get there is a different story. Not going there ever again.

I love going to D2 to dance with my friends and have fun. They are pretty busy when we go so it would be nice if they had even more staff during the weekend, but overall I always have a fun time when I go here.

Best bar/club in the valley, multiple dance floors the lower level and outdoor patio with fire tables is more suitable for the relaxed crowd and upstairs is more upbeat. The owner is a cool guy also.

The only good thing about this place is that the outdoor area is cozy if 1. The weather permits. & 2. If it isnt crowded.
