I went to the Lakeville location and they told me they couldnt fix my headlights. I went to this location and they got it done no problem. This location is always the best for oil change and service. NEVER GO HERE. I wish I could leave 0 stars. They have ABSOLUTELY no idea what they are doing. Been dealing with an extremely poor experience for over a month now, and still having issues. I will NEVER go here again. Absolutely disgusted by this Valvoline. And they say there’s nothing more they can do to help… which is probably better because they don’t know what they’re doing anyway.

Very fast service efficient and really great customer service the young men that work there acts probing questions and they knew their job. The price was nice and fair drive in and drive out.

First time I did not go to the Honda dealership for an oil change and tire rotation. Had the WORST customer service as well as outcome of services. The oil filter was not placed on correctly and ALL of my oil leaked out. You’re supposed to have 3.5 quarts and I had LESS THAN HALF A QUART. I went to valvoline in Duluth MN and they were beyond surprised my car was still running. DO NOT go to this location. Head to the Bloomington location on Lyndale.

I pulled in @9. Stated I needed my tire pressure checked. Attendee said be with you shortly. Second car pulls up after Ive been there for maybe 5 mins. They Get fluids checked and replenished, all 4 tire plus spare tire aired. I did not receive service until 15 min later after my arrival. I was not happy with service today at all.

I love this valvoline! Everyone is always super friendly and attentive to my cars needs. They walk you through each step of what they’re doing to your car, i appreciate that since a lot of other car places will leave you in the unknowing. I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else for my oil changes or tire rotation.

Had a top-off of fluids done today as well as, my car was a little bit low in oil. Service was fast and free.

I went in for an oil change. All was well until it came to turning my car back on and noticing two dash lights on. The one was a battery light and then an engine light. My battery had no problems prior to going in, they just hooked it up wrong. So they fixed it. The engine light would not turn off. The manager tried to fix it Googling what could be wrong laughing it off but told me they don’t specialize in that and I need to go to a mechanic. So my already expensive oil change turned into my dash light coming on and him not having the slightest clue how to fix it.

I love this place! I always get in and out fast! The price is clearly stated before any work is done and personally, I love that.. The staff is thorough, informative and best of all friendly! Highly recommend this location to everyone!

Had my front and rear differential fluid drained and supposedly replaced. 4.5 miles down the road, at 70mph, the rear wheels locked up on my rear wheel drive Dodge RAM 1500. Had to have my insurance tow my truck back to their shop. Low and behold, there was no fluid in my rear differential. Now they have my truck, no detail on what mechanic they are taking it to, no detail on when I will get my truck back, and I’ve been told I will get a reimbursement for my full visit ($210), and a free oil change, after their mechanic fixes the truck. Why would I trust this place with my vehicle ever again? I spent 3 hours on the side of a major highway, and the tech says he’ll give me a free oil change. So how many days will I be without my vehicle? This is one extremely upset customer. They had better come up with something better than a free oil change for my 5 wasted hours, and however many days of being without my vehicle. For that matter, I better be getting some serious apologies from someone other than their 18yr old technician.

Not trustworthy maintance checks. I knew that my serpentine belt is in bad condition and need to be replaced, but I got info that it’s Checked - OK (photo), they didn’t offer to replace it. Maybe it’s nothing big, but what if I didn’t know about it and would still be driving with bad serpentine belt... Also, sticker that they gave me have wrong date and mileage on it (photo). I don’t know, maybe you just predict the future because it says the date 10/23/2019 and mileage 118334, but when I came it was 07/23/2019 and 115334 (I know 5 looks like 8, but I told the guy the correct mileage).Service was very kind and fast.

Employees are very friendly and always let you know what they see needs to be done but will not pressure you into anything. My oil changes are always done in 20 minutes or less and my baby and I dont even have to get out of the car. Ive been coming here for oil changes for over 2 years and love it! I prefer coming here than going to the dealership.

In and out pretty quick

They took extra steps to make sure my oil change went well. I brought my own oil and filter for my 11 Volvo. The guys were super friendly and got the work done quickly even though Volvos are a pain to change the oil in. Often they have special deals online to save you a few bucks so check that out first before you go in.

Ive been to this location a few times if Im in AV. The guys are knowledgeable and professional. They dont try to upsell. They wear masks for everyones safety and they used a coupon to give me $10 and 20% off. Ill be back!

I went to get my oil topped off but they told me that my oil levels were good. I went to another mechanic thinking i might have 2000$ issue in my car, but the car was empty on engine oil. Its a big disappointment as i have been a very long term customer but this is just ridiculous.

I had my oil changed at a different location(Savage....never going back there EVER!!!) and they made a huge mess out of my H2 and Zach came to my house and made sure my vehicle was safe to drive to the Apple Valley location and they cleaned everything up and made sure everything was done correctly this time.

Went for an oil change. Pulled up, 1 car in each bay. Waited good 10 min, no employees approached me and I observed 2 of them working on personal vehicle in lot. Left without service, will not visit this location again

These guys are game changers...just pull in to the garage, sit in your car and the pros take care of all the essential maintenance and care you need! They have cameras so you can watch them work!

I was impressed by how dedicated the team was to being a team. The technician who was helped me (Jordan) was very engaging, educated and professional. Even though there was a small line, I was in and out in under 30 minutes. No complaints!

I got there 10 minutes after they opened and there were people in both stalls already. They came out and said 10 minutes I then sat there for 35 minutes northern car was done yet still. I just left do not go to this location they don’t know what they are doing it should not take 45 minutes to do an oil change!

Fast and Friendly service from the techs. I have used Rapid Oil on and off for 20 years at this location. However, today may have been the last time. $75.00 for a synthetic blend oil change and declined any AAA, AARP, or Employee Discount programs discounts. I have always received one here. Back to the Honda Dealerhsip and their $50.00 oil change. At least I get a recall check, review of what they did and a reminder sticker to make an appointment at 15% oil life.

They tightened the oil filter so hard that no tool could take it off. What started as a 15 minute learning experience for my son turned into complete frustration. Im never taking any car here, no matter how desperate I may be. I also dont like how they waste my time asking to get extras that I dont want.

Scary place with even scarier employees, leave people to sit in there cars for 10 minutes without acknowledging them at all and when confronted by this guest they become hostile and angry and down right threatening. I am a female and my experience involved a man named James between 4-5 pm. I called the next day and talked to a so called manager and was again greeted with hostility and out right lies, all in an attempt to cover there own a**. I cant imagine dealing with these people had something gone wrong with my car and I can see them being hateful enough to do damage or simply being careless because you bothered them, interrupted their break or requested better service. Please go somewhere else, especially the women out there reading this. SCARY!!!

Not what they used to be. Somehow they managed to lose my oil filler cap (at least they replaced it). I used to like them for their fast service and friendly technicians, but those days are gone.

I wont let them do anything to my car besidesOil changes. They did my cabin filter and when they pulled my filters all the debris fell on my blower motor/ fan and i couldnt turn my ac or heat on without my car shaking uncontrollably. I brought back twice and each time they didnt spend any more than a minute and they basically told me to go deal with it on my own. I had to take my whole blower/Motor fan off to get the debris out of there. So i basically paid them only to make things worse and almost cost me over $200 if my fan broke. I guess all that fast hurying comes at a cost. I will probably never take my car to another valvoline for oil change. I rather take somewhere were they take more than 10 minutes and do things right. Am just glad it was an air blower this time and not my engine.

Usually never a wait, and the only place that has the oil filter for my 28 year old car. The manager here went beyond my expectations a couple of times. I will only get my oil changed here from now on.

Good experience. I was afraid to take my car anywhere in the Apple Valley area after reading all the terrible horror stories. The jiffy lube looked run down and abandoned. Tires plus seemed like a guaranteed problem so I took a chance on valvoline. They had 2 cars in the stalls already but they came out and greeted me. I had a light out in my license plate but they didnt pressure me to fix that or buy anything else I didnt need. As they were working on my car another pulled up and he was greeted also. I was in and out in about 20 minutes maybe less.If I had to find one thing to be negative about, as I was leaving I was waived out of the garage instead of being ground guided. I doubt its even possible but they are leaving themselves open for someone to drive into the hole on the way out.

Went here to get an oil change for a car that I had just bought. The oil in the car was old which is why I needed an oil change and the oil was over filled. I told them this and they had me wait 10 mins before getting in and they said they would look at it. After I got in they refused me because they had said that my engine was knocking and for liability reasons they couldnt take me. Im sorry but I have heard an engine knock before and my car was not knocking. Also if my car was running for ten minutes before I came in they could have heard the knocking before I waited for them to refuse service. If you are working on cars for a living maybe you should actually know cars. I will never use Valvoline again because other ones I have been to also do not seem to have the knowledge of vehicles to have the right to refuse service to people.
