When I drove up, Daniel greeted me very pleasantly, I asked to talk to Joanne, who Ive known a long whileI told them I needed a minor item. I needed a tire changed on a Water craft trailer I have. I just recently moved up here from down the hill and hated to leave my mechanic that my family had used for 15+ years. After reading reviews, decided to give these guys a shot. And what can I say, WOW!! The guys were so awesome and took the time to explain my diagnostics report to me after clearing through smog and gave me recommendations on what was a dyer fix and what could be done over the course of the next couple of months. Never felt like I was being taken advantage of! Ive also never been in a shop that is so clean and well maintained. Will definitely continue to use these guys for future services. I am New to Apple Valley and needed new tires for my work commute... This place wax one of four spots I called for estimates and lets just say I left there a happy customer. Looks like I found my one stop shop for my needs. Joanne was absolutely amazing with helping me get the proper tire fit, checking my sensors (because had a blow out and was reading all wrong), I mean the whole shebang 🤘🏼... My car is driving like a dream thanks you all for your help and will be coming back when need to.

They said they would help me and fix my car and then kicked me down the road because they were not capable of doing an easy job on an older car because of their aaa rating what good is that rating if you cant fix the car or your scared to work on it I thought this was a repair facility,thanks for the help.

Not good.. the owners wife wouldnt let me explain what I wanted and why.. she had her own agenda ..not what I wanted done.. she suggested a creat motor.. are you kidding me !! No ! I dont need another motor !! I c now why so many people give this Big Apple Automotive shop a bad rating.. they tell you that you need stuff done that doesnt fit your budget.. you would think they would learn what the customers want not what they think we need ..2 different apples to apples..not going back..

Charged us $160 for two diagnostic test when all we asked them to do was check out the Cadillac converter and than wanted to charge us $5000 to repair it. Worst customer service will not be going back and would NOT recommend if you have a fixed amount of money to work with definitely go else where they just want to get there pay check not to help you out.

Im mostly a DIY guy so I just needed them to find my problem so I could make a decision on if I could do it or just have the pros do it. It turned out to be a failed component that I was comfortable fixing myself. I couldnt have done this without the pros at Big Apple. Thank you guys for your service. Very reasonable price. Very disappointed try to over charge me for service spark plug and ignition coil replacement by $700 will never go back.

Its good for smog work, however their service could improved in communicating that they are busy, instead of just sending customers away to another branch 5 miles away.

Great service and provides a lot of detail on other repairs that are required. I usually go to Walmart as I thought the price was more inline with an oil change but have found a new facility for my regular services. The price is almost the same but you get more for your money and you get a better feeling with the quality of the mechanics performing your service here.

I was driving my brothers car and it began to overheat. The Gage did not go into the red when I stopped and had AAA tow to big apple. They wanted $2800 to fix.said it was head gasket radiator water pump hoses thermostat etc. Then they wanted to make an offer on his 1999 pickup with 65000 miles on it based on $2800 fix. I towed it out of there and had it fixed for $80.00 Running great. Bog Apple is the biggest rip off!!!!

Clean shop. A service writer comes out to greet you, which is a total change up from most shops in the high desert. The staff is super friendly, and they strive to provide their customers with best possible service you can get. They definitely know how to get the job done!

The side door of my Van was stick with my oxygen tank in the back. Joanne the service manager got a mechanic to fix the door and he actually fixed it both doors and then when I asked how much how much I owe them they said thats OK. The mechanic was helpful and kind to me. I dont know his name, thank you !!!

This place is a RIP-OFF operation. I brought my car there to have a fluid leak checked. I was advised I needed a new radiator and the total cost including installation would be $2,150.00 .... I told them not to do the work while in the meantime I checked around for a better price. I was referred to A-Action Auto in Hesperia who quoted me $592.00 for a new radiator installed. I then had my car towed from Big Apple Auto to A-Action Auto who completed the work for the price they quoted. Big Apple Auto failed to install the underlying engine protector prior to loading my car on the tow truck therefore they had the tow truck driver deliver this huge part in the cab of his truck to A-Action Auto. Terrible Experience !!!

Went for a smog check, had to have a fuel line repaired. Runs like a watch. Wish the diagnostic and labor werent so expensive, but they do it right.

Appke automotive offered us excellent customer service and they also got us in and back on the road quickly we will be going there for great auto repair service i hope to build a relationship with this business to maintain our vehicles plus they are a triple A auto club approved repair shop so we didnt have to be wary of being scammed in any way I recommend this shop if you need auto repairs I believe they can even help with your RV s as a plus :)

Super frustrating trying to deal with them. I have called about getting quotes on basic maintenance work and they never give even a ball park of what it might cost. I understand that you dont want to be held to a quote over the phone when you havent seen the condition of the vehicle but to not even give an idea for something as basic as changing brake pads and rotars is sad. When your car needs repair it makes it really difficult to just swing it by for an inspection. They seem to do good business, so they probably dont care but the inability to talk a little shop over the phone doesnt instill confidence in the quality of work.

These guys are ok, theyll ask to do the complimentary AAA check and tell you everything needs a tune up but in reality they are trying to get future service. Literally every shop does this, so its to be expected. These guys are good for smogs though, in and out quickly for cheap.

Took both my cars to get a smog was able to get in same day. Friendly staff and pleasant experience just make sure you get there early.

Good prices. Was here for 3 hours without a wait time for a serpentine belt and to fix a door handle. If u come for something big be prepared to wait.

Horrible service overpriced car left in worst condition them when i brought it in the mechanic broke the latch on my hood and wanted to charge me 700 for what HE broke then he didnt even have the decency to tell me he broke it i had to find out later that day when i went to go open it ...they tried to blame it on the year of my car Ive opened and closed the hood probably a hundred times never once gave me problems

I shouldve read the reviews first. This crap was a total waste of my intelligence, and time; racism toward African Americans exist, and $44 bucks down to $35 to be lied to about failing. Bottom line...When someone acts like their doing surgery on your vehicle, when you know all that not relevant leave before its to late.

My car was flashing Service Engine Soon. It was running OK but I figured I should get it checked. Big Apple gave an estimate of $99.98. I should have questioned that more, but figured that would let them do any work up to that amount.They hooked it up to the computer and figured out that it was a lose gas cap. $116 total. The diagnostic was $99.98. I told them to keep their gas cap. Got one for 5 bucks at the part store.

Today took my car to this shop. To get my ac service done. My car just needed Freon. I was told it was going to be $69.95 for the service. They explained to be there were going to be extra charges due cause this particular car was more time consuming that they were going to charge me an additional $40. They told me that. That they ac may not work well cause the cooling fans stop working. They started hitting them with a metal bar. To make them work. They seem that they busted my fans. They did not come on before they were working perfectly fine. They wanted extra $1000 fled to replace them. These people they just want to take your money. They are not professional. They took of my glove compartment and left it outside after giving me the car. Had to wait 15min to get someone to put it back in. DON’T TRUST THIS GUYS WITH YOUR VEHILE OR YOU MOGHT REGRET IT!! I definitely regret not looking at this guys reviews on google before taking my car in. DONT MSKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID TRUST PEOPLE’S REVIEWS. And do the same thing I did if you are unhappy.I’m going to sue this guys for messing up my fans. I Can’t beleive they are still in business..
