My son got a haircut and it came out great. His barber Jose, was very attentive and took his time. Very professional and I highly recommend this barber shop.

We love Jose here. He’s done my husbands hair for years and recently started to do my toddlers hair as well. He was so patient with him during his first haircut, he didn’t even cry. He also was patient with me, saving me his little baby hair clippings to keep. Wonderful experience and will continue to go to see him!

Very friendly staff and a great cut, too!We walked in on a Monday and they were closed. The door was mistakenly unlocked for a private appointment was getting a cut with color. Even though they were technically closed, they still cut our hair.We recently moved to the area and this may be our normal barber/salon to replace our old ones. We like how we can come together and get our hair cuts instead of 1 going to barber and the other to a salon.

Jose, the owner & operator, is outstanding. He takes pride in his service. Been patronizing him for over the last 6 years. He operates by appointment only, but there are 2 other barbers there who take walk ins.

Chris does a great job and listens to what youre looking for in a cut. I went from sloppy to Papi Chulo. Great prices and great conversation too. Id recommend them any day.

Cathy and Chris, the owners are awesome! I got a cut and color from Cathy which ended up being considerably cheaper than the previous chain salon I went to and when I left there my hair didnt feel as dry and overprocessed as I was accustomed to. Hubby got a haircut, although next time hes going in for the hot towel shave as well. Chris had great attention to detail and definitely didnt rush through the process like so many other barber shops hes been to before. The salon itself is super quaint and it feels like everyone has been going there for years. There is no pressure to buy product afterwards as they dont sell anything there, though theyll gladly recommend what to use if you ask.So glad we spotted this hidden gem only minutes from our new home. We will definitely be return customers!

Went here with my son and waited for around 20 minutes and was never greeted or acknowledged. Meanwhile, what appeared to be regulars were greeted and taken care of. Took my son some place else.

REVIEW: My dad came down from ny last tuesday and is spending some time down here in florida. He was looking for a barber shop here in apopka and i went on the internet and was looking at reviews of places. Well, i brought him down to, The Cutting Lounge Barber Shop and Salon and let me tell you they took good care of him. He asked for a trim and just to trim his mustache and they went above and beyond. The cut his hair, trimmed his mustache, shaved him, after shave and some kind of lotion and charged him $15.00. The gentlemans name was Kelcon and he took his time to make sure it was done right. If anyone is looking for a barber shop i would recommend The Cutting Lounge Barber Shop and Salon and ask for Kelcon. I highly recommend this place and give it 5 stars.
