Way back in April 19 weeks ago we had a salesman come out and give us an estimate to have a storm door installed. The salesman was great and the appointment went fine. We put a deposit down and he told us it would take about 6-8 weeks to get someone out to do the installation due to being behind. Around week 14 still no door and no communication at all from this company. So we started calling trying to get any information we could. No one could give us any information and it was always someone will call you back and guess what, no one ever did. Finally around week 17 we were told that the technician would be in touch. He called a few days later and set up the installation. He shows up today on time and ready to work, unloads everything from his truck to find out that the frame adapter, that was clearly written on the invoice, was not ordered or sent. So now here we are at week 19 and still cannot get our door installed. If and when I ever get this door installed I will never do business with this company again!

I just visited Window World here in Apex, NC wanting to buy something I needed to finish a project in my home. Josh was really awesome. I didnt buy anything, but I am very happy satisfied customer! I know where Im getting my next set of Windows or whatever else he is selling for my home. Buy your windows here. What a great guy.

Third positive experience with Window World. Installers did a great job going above and beyond.While they were working in the back of our house, a Copperhead bit our puppy in the front yard. I went out back to tell them what happened and that we were leaving for the emergency vet. They came out front to help including helping to ensure the snake was no longer a threat. The lead installer called the next day to check on the puppy. Puppys okay and healing.Enjoying our new windows!

Love the windows, installers did a great job! They were professional, quick and neat and I love the windows! My only complaint is we are waiting on doors and we probably would not have used this company if we had known how long it would be!

Salesman was generally rude and arrogant. Treated me like I couldn’t afford their services. I spent $15,000.00 dollars out of my pocket on 28 windows. I notified the management team I was missing a couple of screens. They promised to get them for me approximately 3 months ago, still haven’t received them and no follow up. I hired Kelly Windows and Doors two weeks later for another property I own and the experience was MUCH better!!! I will say that the installation team was really nice and did an overall good job, they were sub contractors.

No stars no customer service. No call backs. Wrong product. Product had missing screws. Order took way too long to be installed. I will never recommend this company. Main office was no help stated the local company is franchise owned and I had to work with them. Sad 😥

I cannot recommend Window World enough! Our neighbor used them and referred us, we love the look of his windows. The sales process was easy and straightforward, and the windows are made to order. The hardest part of the entire process was waiting for manufacturing to be completed so we could receive our installation. The three man crew that installed our windows did an amazing job! They were so fast, while also being careful, thorough, and extremely professional. They were easy to work with, communicative, and helpful the entire time they were here. It was certainly the easiest construction / renovation project weve had done on our house, and besides the gorgeous new windows, youd never know someone was working here after they finished. Thank you so much for the great work! Looking forward to many better years with our energy efficient windows.

We want to replace a set of 29-year-old exterior metal-faced French doors that are gradually rusting away. I made an appointment with Window World, the salesman came out on the designated day, spoke with us, took measurements, and then submitted a price quote with no specific details. I phoned him the next day (a Friday) to request a Statement Of Work to be done along with a list of the products to be utilized on this project (I never sign contracts without the specifics clearly spelled out). This information could all be documented on just one extra page of his quote. The salesman replied that he would send this information to me the next week. When nothing had arrived by the middle of the next week, I phoned the salesman again. He did not answer so I left a voicemail reminding him that I was expecting the additional information I requested and asked that he phone me to let me know when I would be receiving it. He never returned my phone call and he never submitted the additional information I requested. Apparently the one extra page of work was not worth his time.As a result, I eliminated Window World from consideration for our door replacement project and you can bet that I will not be considering them for any future projects for our home.

A few years ago, I contacted Window World for window replacement. The salesman came out, did his sales pitch and I placed an order. I never heard back after that - I placed numerous calls. After approximately 1 year from my signed contract, we wrote a bad google review. After the review, I was contacted. The new owner met with me, explained the company was under new ownership, and apologized for my issues. He voided the original contract and said if I ever wanted to try again, please contact Window World. I decided to try again. I contacted WW thru the website on August 26th and requested a consultation. I got a phone call immediately confirming all my information and was told the local office would be in touch to schedule a consultation. Guess what? Here is it 2 weeks later and I still have not received a call. Surprise, surprise!

Working in the construction business, it is rare to see a team so dedicated and personable. From the gentleman with whom I placed my order all the way to the (excellent!) installation team, I cannot say enough about this organization. In our current environment, you cannot underestimate the value of good service. I will recommend Window World again and again!

Low e glass gas’s Leaks,Condensation leakage around window seals.very cold around base of the windows and ice forms wear windows comes together and the costs is outrageous and low quality.They burst Several pieces of vinyl and the seal tape around of windows being installed and leaks from not being proper sealed. And it’s been 3 years and haven’t been able to get Window World to replace windows. Saying that they would replaced but as of yet.

Overall very satisfied with the entire process. The salesman Mike was on time very knowledgeable about the product and helpful with guiding us to our ultimate purchase. The installers were excellent. Arrived on time took no time setting up and installing our 5 new windows. Very nice clean installation cleaned up all around the house and removed the old windows. Very happy with the quality and pricing of the entire job. I would not hesitate to recommend your company to our friends and neighbors.

Door arrived painted wrong. The door was painted Hunter green (this was right) but the outside trim was also painted Hunter green!, the trim should have been white. The salesman that sold us the door had left the business and we were never told this information we only found this out when we started calling to find out status of door. The installation of the door was done by Vincent. The installer Vincent was great. He explained how and what he was doing during installation.

I’m a reasonable person who realizes that life doesn’t go as planned. I don’t live for negative reviews and generally only speak up if the experience is really good or really not so good. That said - if I told you about my experiences with Window World, you might not believe me. I really wish they weren’t true.Including (3) measurement visits (which should have made us stop right there), we are on visit # 7 and they still aren’t done due to a faulty install and an unwillingness for some of their team to wear a mask while inside of a customers home - I don’t know if you’ve heard there’s a pandemic?They have products that people seem to like but what good are they if they can’t be installed correctly. What’s more, the staff seems 100% focused on excuses rather than solutions and apologies - provided they even respond to your calls and emails at all.Poor communication, poor workmanship, customer indifference after the sale all adds up to very poor leadership. I’m ashamed to be a customer. I hope this review helps someone else before their time, money, and peace of mind are completely wasted.I would love a response to my review because it will be the FIRST time that anyone from WW has reached out to me to discuss my experience and ask if there’s anything that can be done to resolve the situation.

I had all of my home windows replaced. They did a great job, and were done in a single day. They cleaned everything up when the job was completed. The house looks great! Feels a lot better inside my house, and is quieter. I would recommend Window World for any window replacement.

Unfortunately, I feel the need to share my experience with others after I just recently had all of the windows and a front door installed in an investment property that I recently acquired. I originally had three companies provide me with quotes while I was closing on the property and Window World appeared to be the best value. The salesman was very quick to get me under contract (a bit pushy trying to meet monthly quotas) soon after I closed on the house. He reassured me that I would have the windows and door installed within their 6-8 week lead time, if not sooner. I was planning to have tenants look at the property after all of the work was done, so I was not pleased to learn it really took ~14 weeks. I ended up losing potential earnings since I had to extend my renovation timeline. To add to the disappointment, I am still waiting for the company to come fix the front door. They left a 1-2 inch gap between the door jam and the brick exterior wall and they did not reinstall the storm door. My understanding of the scope of the work was turn-key. Communication between the different representatives from the company (salesman, install manager, etc.) was less than ideal. I called every two weeks to inquire about when I could expect the windows and doors to arrive, and they never could give me a straight answer. They would tell me that the manufacturer was behind. I had questions about matching the paint and it took me several times to follow-up to get the right information. For the most part, the install team was professional and punctual (hence why I am giving 2-stars), but the door install was not complete. Overall, after looking at the value I received, I would have been better off going elsewhere.

We ordered a planter window from Window World. They were on time, did quality work, and made sure to clean up after the work. The workers were very professional and made sure everything look correct before they left. We will be purchasing some more windows from Window World.

If youre in Window World Raleighs territory and just need to order need a replacement part, save yourself the hassle and call Window World in Rocky Mount instead. They are aware of the ongoing customer services issues at the Raleigh shop. I understand the factory is the choke point for orders, but the Raleigh shops continued poor customer service issues (asking customers to leave their number and then not calling back, failure to be proactive and call customers when their orders arrive, not updating customers info in the CRM system) are not excusable.

We had window world install 13 windows in our house. Overall the windows are nice and better than what we had. The installation crew were very nice and easy to get along with, however, they did not clean up very well. Trash and construction debris were left throughout our house and yard which we had to pick up in the following days. Also, numerous items such as nails, tools, and metal scraps were left in our driveway. Were lucky noone got a flat tire.When I voiced my disappointment to the construction manager, who I was speaking with about sloppy caulk work, there was no apology or acknowledgement of the mess they left behind. Guess thats the way it is these days, but I expect more service when I spend that kind of money.

Great service. We had all 16 original windows in our home replaced. They were quick, friendly, and professional. The windows look great and we already notice a difference in reduced sound from outside. The price was the best from four other local competitors. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered 8 double hung windows, two sliding glass doors and a specialty garden window for a renovation project on a 100 yr old house my husband and I purchased. David, our salesman, was great! He explained all of our options, throughly went over their products, demonstrated how the windows worked with a sample, took thorough measurements as we needed some custom windows including my very expensive but very desired garden window we wanted for our kitchen. He was just wonderful, no pressure, very knowledgeable about the products and generally pleasant and friendly. We were there told they should be in mid January but a clerical error was made and our garden window was not placed with our original order and no one notified us of this until the end February when we called to ask about the progress of our order. A little peeved as it set back some of our other projects. Although they put a rush on the order and windows were in in the following week and a half. Install date for this Thursday 5/8 and they finished install today 5/9. Tony and his crew did a very professional and efficient job. Properly installed windows that needed custom work and excellent clean up. Affordable prices for what we purchased and would recommend Window World to anyone needing windos, doors or siding services.

Ive used Window World in the past for window replacements. This time was by far the worst. The first set of windows came not only the wrong type, but the wrong size as well. I checked the order form and the salesman had the type correct but I guess his measurements were off. They ordered replacements and it took several months for them to come in. No one called me. If I hadnt called checking on their status, I might still not have my windows replaced. Ive never had this much trouble from Window World. Theyve really dropped off their customer service. On the plus side, both sets of installers that came to my house were great. The ones that actually replaced the windows cleaned up everything before they left. You wouldnt know they were working here. Windows are nice as well.

Very very satisfied with our window that was installed. It looks so much better then i imagined. They are pretty busy so the installation was scheduled a little longer than i liked but it was definitely worth the wait. The staff was very nice and professional. Will recommend them to others!

We did not like service we received from the sale woman through installation. We called and did not get a call back. When they came to install the windows they came with a window missing. The installer did call the warehouse and have someone bring the window. Then they did not have to of the handles. We had to make numerous calls to resolve the situation. They came here two more times with the wrong handles. Also when the original installer installed the windows they did not put the insulation. When I called they said they did not know it was new construction. Why not when we bought the windows and a few days later when someone came to get the measurements they clearly knew it was new construction. They had someone come and put the insulation in. They did a horrible job. My husband had to fix it or we would not pass the inspection. The installation day was December 5, 2020. We finally today got the handle that was missing, today is February 11, 2021. I do not recommend anyone buy windows from Window World.

The whole process of replacing a large broken kitchen window was very professional from beginning to end. Installation crew did a great job and were very efficient. Unfortunately, scheduling the actual installation took too long in my opinion (over three months).

Had two three quotes by three different window companies in Window World by far was the least expensive and the same if not better quality.

The gutter installation crew was courteous and professional. We walked around the house and I pointed out downspout locations and other gotchas. They followed through and did exactly what I asked. They were diligent in cleaning up and returning things to normal.My only gripe was with the scheduling, which left us in the dark leading up to the day of installation.

It was a average experience. The sales person was professional but installation took many months then it was a partial install and had to wait for weeks before it got completed. The dealing with pending installation was not very professional. Would not recommend. Thanks

Wonderful experience with window world. Jason, sales person, was very nice. Cliff who installed the windows was absolutely phenomenal. Very hard working and a perfectionist. I would use them again. However, customer service department can use a little help. But Jason stepped in a resolved.

Im glad that I decided to go with Window World. Their quality of Windows is 5 star rated compared to Champions. My neighbor used Champions and you can see the difference in the workmanship and craftsmanship. They even wished they used Window World now. I reached out to 3 different companys. The other 2 was $3000 more and was telling me that I needed permits for electric work. They was trying to rip me off for more money. My father in law is a licensed contractor and schooled me on the fact that I didnt need it since I already have a electric socket and ceiling fan in place. I just stare at it everyday with a 😃. Thanks guys for the GOOD HONEST WORK.

The install team was exceptional. I had 32 windows replaced and they did it in a day and half and it was freezing out. Yet they did it with smiles. They were very professional and made sure the job was perfect. The windows are great and the price were the best around. I shopped four different suppliers with wild ranging prices. They came in lower with better quality and a lifetime guarantee. I highly recommend them!

After collecting 4 different quotes to replace my condo’s 4 windows, I had the best experience, start to finish, with the folks at Window World of Raleigh. From the person I spoke to on my very first call to schedule an estimate visit, to my sales guy/account manager, David, to my very friendly install man, Brandon, who installed all 4 by himself in less than 6 hours, my entire exploration, purchasing, and installation experience was stellar. I was on a somewhat tight deadline and needed my new windows replaced within 5 weeks of purchase before some new tenants moved in, and David made sure it happened within 4. The best part? Not only was Window World the friendliest, they were also the least expensive out of all the quotes I collected. Really pleased with my new vinyl windows that are SO much more functional than the wooden ones they replaced. Highly recommend. These guys know their sh*t. A+

Overall a good experience. The only issue I had was that the installation crew showed up with one wrong window and they didnt know it until I pointed it out. Should have been obvious since it didnt have the grid. They went back to get the right window.

We are really happy with our new window. We had looked at many other options and found this to be the best quality and price.

I would have given window World a five star rating across the board but the clean up after the window installation wasn’t the best I’ve seen. I’m still finding debris, nails, window prices and little things left in our yard and areas where windows were installed. Cigarette 🚬 butts left all over the ground and we are not smokers... the installation crew was awesome in installation and service provided and the windows look amazing!!!! but the clean up afterwards needs to be improved.

The technician was very knowledgeable in repairing my door, he was courteous, and it didn’t take long for the repair.

I am disappointed in the windows that were installed. The salesman advised me that it would keep outside noise out or to a very minimum. That is not the case, we still hear the neighborhood kids out playing. The installers were very professional and did a good job cleaning up when they were finished. Now that winter is approaching I surely hope that heat will not be escaping out the windows. Hopefully we can see a difference in our utility bill.

While we LOVE the product, we did have some issues with installation that werent noticed until AFTER the installers had left. On May 9, I submitted photos of the issues we saw, to our sales person. She said she would provide them to the construction manager that next Monday (May 11). As of June 1, we still had not heard anything from them, so I reached out again and provide the photos again. As of today (June 23) we have STILL not heard anything about them coming to correct the issues. During the entire sales pitch, we were told that Window World would be there to resolve any issues at any time. I would not recommend Window World - we feel weve given them ample time to at least contact us to discuss our concerns.

Whoever is driving your company vehicle today around 5-6pm on Spring forest and Millbrook road in Raleigh needs to slow down, they were riding my tail and I was going over 12 miles over the speed limit, this driver had to be going 75 miles per hour on a 35 MPH road...could of caused an accident.

If I could give negative stars I would. They have the absolute worst customer service in the world! The receptionists at corporate and local offices are as nice as they can be. I have been trying for 7 weeks to get a screen door replaced. Every time I call theyre in a meeting I dont see how they ever get any work done. It took 6 week to get someone to call me back and actually confirm that my screen was ordered and was at the shop. Scheduled to have it installed, adjusted my schedule to accommodate then they were a no show. Not even a courtesy call. Called to find out what happened. Again everyone was in a meeting. I asked for a phone number to contact the owner and was told the owner is at the home store in Tennessee but they didnt have the phone number. Buyer beware!

The measuring, ordering and quote went well. However, the largest praise I have is for the installment. Wayne was absolutely awesome! He worked diligently...through the poring rain and cold weather to get my windows installed in a very timely manner. He was very professional and did an excellent job! The installation team was incredible! I would recommend to anyone and give the installation 5 gold stars!

Took about 3 1/2 months to get windows. Lost my order, absolutely no communications with my salesman. Never, never returned phone calls. Once I got the windows the installation guys were great. Probably will go else where for my remaining windows.

I was very pleased with my Window World experience. I ordered 9 windows. The windows arrived in the amount of time they were promised. I was extremely pleased with how the installation went. I was expecting the installation to be an inconvenience that Id just have put up with in order to get this done, but to my surprise the installation went so well that they were done in just a few hours. Love my new windows. The house looks so much better inside and out. Lastly, I had gotten a quote from another company and Window Worlds prices were much better.

Courteous, pleasant service in my home for estimate. Good prices. Great value! Definitely go with low-e windows. They make a huge difference by letting in the sunlight without the heat of the sun. Saves you money by using less A/C.

Installers were great! Top notch! Only sort of area that prevents me from giving 5 star to Window world is that the replacement window they installed had a smaller glass area than the original. This was due to the extra framing or trim. Wasn’t aware that was going to be the case. Window looks great and happy with the service and install. Just know that a replacement window glass area may not match exactly the same as the original.

The crew who installed my windows were EXTREMELY efficient and did a fantastic job. They came super early, so I did not miss work and were very accommodating to my schedule. The windows are very good quality and I am enjoing finally having screens to let fresh air in. I would highly recommend this company for your window needs.

Window World was the best value from the three quotes I sought. Home Depot and Lowe’s were very expensive. My windows were ready approximately 6 weeks after placing my order. I ordered 8 windows. On installation day, the workers took no more than 3 hours to install them. They were fast and efficient. It would have been a nice bonus if they had vacuumed up after the windows were installed, but for the price, I was fine with doing the vacuuming. While installing one window, the installer dislodged a previous wood-epoxy repair to my window sill. He showed it to me shortly after it happened. When I received a call from Window World a few days later asking me about their service, I stated I was happy with my windows but made the caller aware of the window sill damage. She reduced the price of my window service by the price of the repair. Overall I am very happy with my windows, happy with the service, and happy with the way Window World remedied my window sill concern. I will recommend them to my neighbors.

Fast, efficient, clean and friendly. 7 window, in &out, 1 day. Left inside and outside fully intact. Noticeable temperature change in the house. Able to leave curtains open for natural light. Best investment we made on the house since we moved in.

The whole experience with Window World was outstanding. The sales person did a great job of demonstrating the windows and our options. He was very thorough and detailed. He was very personable and low keyed. I liked that one of the owners double checked the measurements. Again he very very friendly and down to earth. The installer, Mr. Workman was excellent. He worked very diligently and was very efficient. He worked late every evening and he worked nonstop through rainstorms. Mr. Workman was very personable and great to work with. The price was also reasonable. I would highly recommend Window World.

Would NOT recommend this company! The windows are good quality, but the customer service is atrocious. We have been trying to get our windows installed correctly since October (ordered in August). There have been significant and numerous scheduling errors, broken windows, missing parts, and windows installed differently than we have said. We are STILL waiting on 7 screens and a broken window to be replaced and it will be another 6-8 weeks. The scheduler has never called me to let me know the window installers would be late and they have been 3-4 hours late every time, amongst other issues. I asked to speak to a manager and was told “he was in a meeting” and would call me back. He never did. The only reason we chose this company over another was a significant price difference. However, I am deeply regretting choosing Window World. Don’t be fooled by the pleasant salesperson and save yourself a ton of hassle; choose another company!

Wonderful product and great installers, they do grade A work and I never have to worry about a leaking window again. The salesmen identified a shoddy install from the previous owner and what was causing the leak, walked me through what needed to be done and what was going to be in the contract, warranty, etc. Fast forward to the install: they walked me through what was going on behind the siding, why it was incorrect, and how they were going to fix it. 2 hurricanes later, and not a drop of water has been seen. Highly recommend

I will never use this company again. In July I had windows and a slide door installed. I had issues with the blinds inside the slide door being slightly bent, that issue wasn’t resolve. The only thing I receive was what could possibly be done to fix it but no results. In December I had to use them again due to an break in and I needed one of the windows previously purchased replaced. I was charged $300 more than Home Depot quote, installer brought along a kid, noisy installation, and the wall around the frame was damaged. I only used them because I couldn’t take off work for other companies to come to measure and they had all my window measurements. When I filed a complaint the construction mgr. Marty claimed the installers were fired and they will fix the problem but he sent the same guys back and they made the damage worse. I sent pics to Marty and didn’t get a response.

Once the windows were ordered and arrived installation was incredibly quick. It took less than 2 days to replace 14 windows and 2 doors. The installers were very friendly and professional. Would recommend to anyone looking for replacing older windows and doors.

Contractors were very knowledgeable and worked efficiently to install our windows. We love our new windows, so easy to open and close and clean!! New owners of this window works were responsive and helpful in answering all our questions. Our house seems less drafty and warmer. All in all it was a good experience!!!

The service was great. The gentlemen did a great job of explanations of what they needed to do and the windows look great. We are very pleased we the final product.

It may have taken awhile to get the Warranty replacement correct, but they stayed with it until it was right. The repairman was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. Thanks for a job well done.

A very good experience with Window World Raleigh.Everything went smooth from initial consultation to installation. Sales rep was very professional and helpful. Installers were awesome and did a great job. Everyone was on time and and were at our home when they said they would be. I would recommend Window World Raleigh and use them again.

Technician was very professional and friendly.Completed the installation quickly, left no debris and explained the door would loosen up given a few weeks, and it did. We are very happy with our new front door, makes the house look so much better.

We ordered windows from Window World. They took over 2 months to come in, and when they finally did they were WRONG (didnt fit) because they had measured wrong, and so now we had to reorder and it will take another 2 months to get them in. Whats even worse, is that Window World didnt apologize for the mistake and didnt offer us anything to compensate for their mistake. I asked to speak to a manager when the issue came up, and the manager never even returned my call. Just feel like they didnt care at all that they have inconvenienced us so much and now we will be waiting 4 months total to get windows in. Unacceptable.
