The grounds always look amazing and I love the location. The 3 stars are for a couple of reasons. 1. It is Labor Day and the pool is still not open. It has been frustrating to be told soon to July 1st, mid-July, August 1st, etcetera. My guess is it will not open at all for 2021. 2. There were just a few e-mails about the status of pool. 3. Management changed and it seems like it went from a community to its a business. 4. The trash area was horrible for many months and it still has mattresses and furniture just dumped.

Poor managementI have only lived here for a bit over 6 months and so far way too many problems. First, half my apartment was out of light for a month. Regardless of telling management they still took a full month to get someone to finally fix it. Affecting my regular lifestyle, couldn’t cook at nights, my kids were online schooling and also were affected by it. Regardless management did nothing to give back for that problem. Now the pool has been getting remodeled and we were told it would take a month. Then two more weeks. Now they are adding another 2 week causing it to push the project for 2 months. Paying an apartment here and not even getting the pool amenities is not worth it. Management only say they will get back to you but only to say they are working on it. Show progress instead !!

Terrible management. Front office does not care about its tenants and left the water heater in my apartment broken for weeks.

Location has been key. Close to shopping and easily accessable to interstate. Room size is wonderful and having washer and dryer included in unit is also nice. Also ammenities. Gym and Pool. I dont use either but I can see how that would be nice for others. Also lots of sidewalks makes walking also exercise friendly. So far just have enjoyed everything here..

The location is perfect for our needs. The office staff has been very helpful and friendly. The response time for requested maintenance is exemplary, and the maintenance crew is efficient and helpful, The community here is warm, and inviting. We could not be happier, unless it was rent-free. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

Wanted to leave an unbiased review for anyone currently searching for an apartment. I am a single female in my mid twenties, living alone, so finding a mold free, roach free, affordable apartment in a safe neighborhood was my biggest concern. During my search I read reviews for apartments all over the raleigh-durham, cary apex area and most of them were atrocious (roaches and mold). However, the same night i came across VAB on apartments.com i drove around the neighborhood and was astonished at how quiet and peaceful it is. After months of searching, (and giving up), i scheduled a tour the next day and signed my lease a few days after. Ive been here a month and i love it so far. Safe, clean, quiet (on the outside). Lovely office staff - Jen, Harris and Richard have all been wonderful any time ive interacted with them. As with any place, there are cons, which I knew to expect from the reviews, and none of these were deal breakers for me. I live near the trash compactors - sometimes they do get very full (like around christmas) but i honestly dont care about that because I spend my time in my apartment, not at the trash dump. After Christmas, the excess trash was removed very quickly. You can occasionally smell a faint gassy scent from the power plant, but its nothing too offensive, and I often dont notice it. Biggest con is the walls are VERY THIN as mentioned here before. Im currently listening to my neighbors music as I type this and if it wasnt in spanish id be able to sing along with it. Can occasionally hear baby crying, dog barking, muffled conversations. Im on the second floor and the people above me either have a dog or children because i do hear stomps and occasional loud THUDS. But thats not something management has control over. Knowing this, i try to walk lightly for whoever is below me. In summation, i love where I stay and feel safe and unbothered here, especially when I come home at night. Also, youre close to EVERYTHING. 10 - 30 minutes away from all the best shopping centers, restaurants and malls in the 919. I havent had my first utility bill so I cant speak on that but overall, 4/5 for me. Hoping they dont raise rent too high next year so I can stay here again.

Don’t live here. Find another complex not operated by Pegasus. When you move out they will Jack up your utility usage. Final water bill was $291 after previous high of $40. Worst apartment I’ve ever lived at.

When I first moved in here a year ago it was owned by a different management company and I wouldve given it five stars. Now the people in the front office have been replaced and they seem very unorganized even somewhat condescending. The property itself is usually great, except for constant trash compactor issues. If youre looking to move in I wouldnt select an apartment near the compactor unless you like looking at occasional piles of trash put there by tenants who dont open the door of the compactor to put the trash inside it. The units themselves are spacious and nice. My boyfriend recently moved in and has had a lot more issues than I have with his unit. For the location and price it is a decent apartment, compared to other apartments in the area.

We had an excellent experience living in this place. It is quiet and clean neighborhood. Office staffs are very friendly and solve any issues immediately. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Absolutely hilarious level of incompetence from maintenance and the front office. No one cares. The fake sincerity is off the charts. No idea how any of these people have jobs. There must be some loophole that allows them to call themselves luxury apartments.Update: And yes, they will leave the trash compactor broken for months, never ever clean the breezeways, and they will raise your rent during a pandemic without a second thought.

Not a bad place. People are quiet. The walls are super thin so hope you dont have people who constantly have loud sex or party too much. I was usually the one banging so I never had any issues. The receptionist girl is probably the most unenthusiastic person Ive ever met and my family and I constantly felt like we were looked down upon by her. Everyone else was awesome and very helpful. The apartments were spacious and well kept with the except of some sloppy paint work and some patchy carpet work in some areas. Overall, Id live here again only if the walls were thicker but otherwise very pleasant. 8/10 would make that bed rock again.. :)

I have a difficult time writing this review because my experience living at Broadstone Station was wonderful except for 1 individual. I loved our apartment, I thought everything was reasonably priced, fixed on time if I had issues, etc. my problem is a particular office employee who never followed through. He originally told us a verbal notification of move out was fine. The office manager phoned us the next day and told us a verbal was not ok. I am incredibly thankful she got wind of this and let us know or we would have been in a bind. I approached him about it and he denied he ever said it (even though he is the only male working in the office). When we turned in our keys we told him we wanted to be present for the move out inspection. It was a weekend when we turned our keys in so he let us know the manager would be in touch to schedule it. We didnt hear from her so we followed up with a phone call; he answered the phone and told us again, he would relay the message to the manager. Low and behold, the message was never relayed and the inspection was done without us being present. I could easily write his name on this review, but I am trying to take the high road and not hurt this individual personally. I do believe he is not qualified to work in the administrative side and is a poor reflection on the apartment complex

After searching endlessly for a home to rent in the Apex / Cary area we happened upon Broadstone Station Apartments. The apartments were beautiful inside, the location was right beside Walmart and the amenities were great. We were the very first to occupy our apartment. I guess you could say we were the lucky ones to get such a private spot near the woods. We enjoyed the spacious rooms immensely, and the rental price was great. We were fortunate to have great neighbors as well (which we miss dearly). Our reason for leaving was to pursue our dream home. I know you may read some not so nice reviews - but we never had a single problem. Any maintenance issue was quickly taken care of and the staff was always nice to us. Of course we do keep to ourselves and maybe that kept us in good standing with our neighbors...

Staff was not bad to deal with. Nice places but dont count on getting you deposit back. We left the place in really nice shape, normal wear & tear but no damage. We also spent a week cleaning the place. I never leave a place in bad shape. Every other apartment I have stayed in I get my deposit back, except here. Not only did they keep my deposit but I got a bill for carpet replacement, paint throughout & other miscellaneous things. $666.78 to be exact. Only damage to any wall was one 1 spot my couch hit moving out, I spackled it but apparently that is cause for wall to wall paint. Renter beware!!!

Do not even attempt to rent here. They are in the business of taking application fees without giving you a fair shake.

Cons: Very thin walls and ceiling, you will hear your neighbors constantly (walking around, going up the stairs outside, playing their tv through shared walls, coughing/showering/talking, slamming doors, etc), maintenance will enter apartment frequently and with little notice, highway noise from US 1 all day and night (Loud trucks, jake braking), high electric bills, parking limited on weekend nights, and you can often smell the propane from the plants down the road... Pros: Close to Hwy 55 and Hwy 1 and Walmart

My family had a few problems with our unit and when we reached out to the office staff about it and they seemed very unorganized. They dont ever follow through on what they say that they are going to do to solve the problems. Day after we moved into this apartment, we noticed that the gutter wasnt built right and every time it rains the water gets flooded up to our doorsteps. Its been over a month since we have requested about this issue and nothing has gotten done. The office manager told us the date that she will send the landscaping person to come take a look, but no show no call. I had to call the office again to find out that they are coming later that week. What kind of management doesnt have a courtesy to call back the tenants that have been waiting patiently over a month? I wont recommend this apartment to anyone.
