Justin has been awesome helping us with our service. We recently had some appliance issues and some random stuff and he was always quick and responsive to get things resolved. Shaun and Ashley are always super friendly and help out with any other issues. Well done to them for making this place a friendly and safe community
Justin has been a great help with all of our service requests. We really appreciate all of our service requests being taken care of the same day.
My AC quit working and a new unit had to be ordered and installed. The maintenance staff were always checking on my comfort and even brought window units to keep me from the heat of the summer. They were all very kind. Justin promptly installed the AC “back-up” plan and was super friendly. Thank for making what could have been a horrible start to the summer a much more pleasant situation!
Today I reported a maintenance issue with my central air. Justin responded quickly, solving the problem at hand. I appreciate that he used shoe covers without grumbling, had a smile, was knowledgeable, and even hummed a tune for me! My many thanks to you, Justin!!!!!!
Great place to live. Excellent location, friendly staff, and well maintained. The maintenance staff is great; Justin is extremely helpful and takes pride in his job.
I seldom write review but I have to write this one for anybody who are planning to rent here. The designing of their room layout is not reasonable. Your bedroom might be right next to others living room. Early in the morning or late in the night you can clearly hear music and TV from your neighbors due to the thin wall.Because of this, I have to force myself to change my habit to cater to my neighbors schedule. Also, their required technology package, almost $100/month, includes both TV and internet. I dont use TV cable at all so it is a total waste of money for me.The only good thing is that their maintenance team responds quickly and most requests can be done within the same day.
Thank you so much, Justin, for taking care of our maintenance request! Always fast, efficient and friendly!
I have been living here for a little over a year and I love the community. The staff is friendly and always goes above and beyond, but a special extra Sixth star for Justin the maintenance guy who is responsive and fast with requests!
I just moved in less than a month ago, and one maintenance man, Justin, is the best employee I have encountered. Truly deserving of the five stars ⭐👍
Ashley at the front desk and Sean the manager are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The top drawer maintenance staff (Mark, et al.) was always available to fix the little and big stuff. Love the old growth trees, dog parks and right next to Apex Lake walking trails. Location, location, location. So glad we picked Camden Lake Pine for our temporary home before we bought our house.
So I wanted to wait a few months to write this review so I could reflect on my 7 years at Camden Lake Pine. The thing that stands out most is how over that 7 years there has been a steady decline in the quality of the tenants and how well the apartments are being kept up. When I first moved in both management and tenants were really first rate. When I finally left the opposite was true. Heres an example of how bad things had gotten. One of the tenants in my building who moved in at the start of 2020 wouldnt bother taking their 2 dogs out to one of the lawn areas to go. Instead they would just allow the dogs to do their #1 and #2 along the walkway and stairs that other tenants used and the tenant with the dogs would not even pick up the #2. (I hope the CLP management challenges this because I have e-mails from them reporting this to tenants of the building. I am happy to share those e-mails). Another example of the type of tenant they have. Again these people moved in in early 2020. About a month later I and other tenants noticed a lot of car traffic coming to the building Friday and Saturday nights. It turned out they were dealing drugs and eventually the Wake County Sherriff raided the apartment. Anyway that gives you an idea of whats going on at CLP.
This place thrives on the location and close proximity to Lake Pine...which is awesome. Services that are initially offered to you are later explained as required if you try not to take them. $31/month for trash service is assinine, assuming that everone is too lazy to take out their own trash (but you still have to take out your own recycling, if you choose to recycle). As well, if you dont watch TV and dont need their internet, the $100 technology fee is a scam. The units are tired and dated and maintenance is done at the absolute bare minimum with no attention to detail (several appliances and fixtures permanently installed as crooked, etc). The location is awesome though.
Ill get the good out of the way. When moving in the staff was very nice and helpful. I think the upfront price is solid. The location is great and the apartments are more or less well maintained and clean.I have so many issues here, though. Most importantly, I felt that in order to keep their nice appearance I gave up WAY too many freedoms; weird nonsense rules around when you can put trash out, regarding patio furniture, you cant put drapes up, not being able to smoke anywhere, and things of that nature made my life a little bit annoying. Management ignored many, many noise complaints I had when the people next to me played music so loud things fell off my shelves and when the people above me seemed to be jumping rope and doing construction day in and day out. Another big issue came to how business is handled, especially since this is my first time out of my parents home. I felt I was getting nickeled and dimed all over the place, was constantly way over charge, and often felt management deliberately mislead me in order to be able to charge me more at a later date. There are so many other little things like constant leaf blowing, email spam, key issues, and so on.In the end its a pretty nice place but because of draconian rules and management that is careless and, at worst, even malicious I cant really recommend it.
Best apartment experience EVER! If you are looking for an incredible place to live - this is it- it is amazing! From the consistently clean grounds, super friendly neighbors to an excellent location you can not beat! Every member of the staff is professional, knowledgeable and goes way above board to help you with anything you might need. I can not thank Jordan enough for all she has done for me and my family, she is a superhero rockstar !! There is no other complex in North Carolina you want to live! The apartments are spacious and beautiful. The trees keep the shade going throughout the complex, lake walking trails are easily accessible, the exercise equipment is plentiful and up to date and the crystal pools are cool! Plenty of parking, great safety and friendly, happy pets! Thank you to every member of the staff for taking such great care of us while we where here, if it wasnt for work - wed never leave!
Justin was friendly, helpful, and efficient! Thank you Justin
Ive lived in a dozen apartments and this is by far my favorite. The apartment complex itself is quite attractive. It has an excellent layout; the hills and trees give it character and make a very large complex feel more private than it should. The location is perhaps better than any in the area, being immediately adjacent to a first-rate public park/lake and across the street from groceries, restaurants, etc. The place is perfect for runners and dog owners. Our apartment (2br/1ba) has been a wonderful place to live the past two years. The design is great and our view of the park makes the balcony a usable, relaxing space. Neighbors are quiet and courteous-- Ive never had anything but good experiences with them. The staff is simply stellar. Maintenance requests are answered promptly by a competent, friendly crew. When a small leak appeared in our ceiling after a violent storm, the leasing office took immediate action to investigate and within a week, we had a new roof! Later, during the process of repainting the complexs exteriors, we were given continual updates. In sum: ideal location; well-designed apartments; first-rate management and maintenance.
I was living in Camden Lake apartment for almost 1 and a half years and had a great time leasing there as the staffs (Ashley and Team) were very friendly and their service was very professional. I would highly recommend you to lease at camden for the quality of living they offer at Camden.
The staff is great, management is great, maintenance is great! Aaron S has always been my main man when it comes to maintenance issues, he doesnt just fix one issue, If I think of something that wasnt in the work order, he just handles it. Just a pleasant person who knows that hes doing. Thanks Aaron and thanks Shaun for the team you lead!
My husband and I have really enjoyed living here! Everyone that works here is helpful and very responsive to any questions or issues that we have. Also we just wanted to thank Taylor Sellers, who has recently helped us out on a couple service requests. He was great at keeping in touch and updating us on the status of the requests and getting them done as soon as possible.
First off, Camden is a nice place to live and very convenient. We stayed for 1 year and moved in to an apartment where we could only smell paint. Shortly after, all we could smell is cigarette smoke. We informed the staff and nothing much was really done. We told them it must be the people below us and we got a well look into it.Camden Lake Pine is a nice place to live, very quick maintenance, but when it comes to moving out they completely swept us to the side. No moving out list, no email, nothing. We had to ask THEM for information on moving out procedures. Would not live here again.
So far, so good! Quiet community with plenty of stores within walking distance plus trails. Beautiful community and the best apartment Ive lived in.
I have absolutely LOVED living here for the past 2 1/2 years. The office staff AND maintenance team are second to none. The apartment manager, Sean, provides personal, caring assistance to all residents, keeping everyone apprised of apartment upkeep, maintenance, and anything the residents need to know in their everyday lives. The assistant manager, Ashley, provides excellent customer service, professionalism and attention to detail with managing leases. The two leasing agents, Matthew and Jason are personable, kind, and caring. The maintenance team is the very best maintenance I have ever experience while renting or leasing apartments. The team is timely, professional and ensures every job is done correctly, & always checks with the residents regarding services provided. I am not moving because I am not satisfied with the apartment and staff, but due to recent health issues. I HIGHLY recommend Camden Lake Pine Apartments!PLUS I reviewed this complex right after I moved in too!Justin Kendrick, Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is fantastic! He assisted me with a front door lock which was getting stuck when I tried to lock it AND worked on window blinds in my dining area which I could not get to go up and down. He completed these tasks all in one afternoon before I left on a weekend trip. I was SO impressed! The maintenance team here at Camden Lake Pine Apartments is the best I have ever seen! Highly recommend!
Our washer machine water drain popped off, late at night, and we had a bathroom water leak and maintenance didnt waste a second but came here within minutes and resolved the situation. Taylor who helped us was really awesome. He was professional and knew exactly what to do and also was super nice and helped us with other little minor things.
Great place to live. Beautiful atmosphere and service. Maintenance team is very prompt and helps whenever it is needed. Fortunately for me Taylor Sellers has been the maintenance guy for our building. Very sweet and respectful.
Absolutely love love love Ashley and Lauren at Camden Lake Pine! They are amazing! Not only were they so helpful during the transition process into North Carolina from Florida, but they always take the time to see how we are doing. Lauren and Ashley have continuously reached out to us to ensure that our experience has been top notch! Thank you both for such an amazing welcome to North Carolina!
Great place to call home. The staff is friendly and the maintenance is very prompt on requests. One person that stood out to me when getting any maintenance requests done was Taylor. He was quick to get the job done, clean and friendly. What I thought was going to take days to complete was done within the day!!
Love this place, especially our handy man Taylor Sellers. He’s extremely reliable, goes above and beyond to make sure things are done correctly and our family is happy in our unit. It’s a huge difference from other places I have lived. He’s the reason we will renew our lease. As long as Taylor is our handy man we will keep renting here.
Yes and yes! So happy I chose Camden Lake Pine. It is a friendly, comfortable and safe place to live. I have a beautifully upgraded apartment which has quality amenities. The grounds are kept perfectly, the maintenance is friendly and efficient. The lake, the lake, the lake!... and the 2 1/2 mile walk around it practically from my doorstep! Convenience of stores and essential services adjacent, but not in view. Tucked away amidst lush greenery. Friendly staff, valet garbage, and fun things like food trucks and activities.
Have a serious parking problem: one resident is allowed to run a used car lot while the management team looks the other way. Cant park near my unit because one individual has seven cars in the same lot THAT DO NOT MOVE. Brought this to managements attention and not only was it disregarded, but was told to suck it. Potential customer, stay away; youve been warned.
I’ve been living in Camden for two years now and I love it! The office staff, management and maintenance staff are amazing. They are professional, friendly and will email you back right away with any concerns you may have. The apartments are nice, quiet and the grounds are kept up nicely. I would recommend Camden Lake Pine to anyone who is looking for an apartment.
Ashley was excellent in finding my new apartment. The process of applying and moving in was done very well. The community of the apartment is clean and looks to be very well maintained. Every apartment will have some issues upon move in and Ashley made sure these issues were resolved most expeditiously. I like the ease of travel for dining and shopping around the complex, as well as the nearby park.
Great place to live - Great staff especially Taylor and Justin. The two has made my stay at Camden even better. Thank you for everything you do!
Just incredible! I cant say enough about Camden. From the moment Ive arrived I have gotten 5star service from all the employees. I am not the easiest tenant (packages arriving while on vacation, setting up the alarm, maintenance calls for random things) and yet the employees (both the office and the maintenance team) are always there to greet me with a smile.I want to give them more stars but this is the best I can do.A BIG thank you from our family! We LOVE Camden!
Really loved living here. Maintenance and leasing staff is awesome! Living so close to Apex Community Park and the lake is great. Justin (maintenance) and Ashley (leasing) were especially amazing during our stay here.My only complaint is that we were charged an additional $60 for cleaning on our final statement. This was for heavy traffic stains. These were in common walkways in the apartment and should have been covered under normal wear and tear, yet the charge was passed along to us. We took very good care of the apartment, so its frustrating to be tagged with unnecessary fees. Just beware that this may happen regardless of the condition you leave apartment in at move-out.
Camden Lake Pine has been such a family oriented place to live, we love it! Both my children have so many new friends, the staff is absolutely incredible an my dog LOVES the walking trails. My family highly recommends Camden Lake Pine!
If you are looking for an amazing place to live, choose Camden Lake Pine. Clean grounds, amazing neighbors, awesome office staff, lovely lakeside, two gyms and two pools! We love our 3 bedroom, open floor plan apartment. We have a very large kitchen which was hard to find in an apartment. The remodeled unit we rent is pretty near perfect. We have a lake behind our unit in which we call our back yard. It always makes for adventure, especially if you are a dog lover! Your pooch will not tire of walking the lake! Oh, and the lake has a fishing pier, and makes a great place to hang a hammock if you are looking to just relax. We feel like we live the life of luxury, lakeside. We are sad to leave. Camden Lake Pine is home to us.
We lived here for a year before buying our house - having moved from NY. Its beautiful, peaceful, and the leasing office is always available to assist you. Anything needing to be fixed was done so in a timely manner. The area is pretty and close to all you need, being on the border of Apex and Cary. I used the gym often, and the business center. I thoroughly enjoyed living here. No negative comments whatsoever.I never had bugs in my apartment, and all fees are clearly outlined from the beginning. It may become more expensive as time goes on - the area being super popular. Take a look at your options, of course. However, it was our first home in NC and I will always miss it.
Wonderful apartment complex! The staff are one of the best assets about Camden Lake Pine Apartments. I worked with Ashley Jones in the leasing office and would recommend her to anyone looking to lease at Lake Pine. The complex is very dog friendly, and another bonus is the fact that the complex is connected via walking trails to Lake Pine and the surrounding sports courts and fields. I have exclusively lived in Camden properties and will continue to rent with Camden because of their 5 star treatment.
We have been here for 3 years! We love the community - with all the trees! We have two pools, two gyms, and the plus of having a beautiful lake in our backyard. The maintenance crew is prompt! We even had AC unit problem and it was fixed within hours. We have lived in NY, FL, and Texas - but we love NC. We picked Camden lake pine from the website and out of state- but we are glad we did.I would see Jen F for any leasing - she is awesome and so helpful! The new upgraded apartments are amazing too. Thanks Camden!!
Great service performed today by Taylor!Camden Lake Pine. A screen was damaged by the roofing workers, he came out right away and replaced it with a new one!Always a pleasure dealing with the maintenance guys! Always friendly and courteous.David Dodrill#426
I have lived here on and off since 2007. We came back this last time before looking to finally purchase. We have loved it each time. You can’t beat the location on the lake with the trail and it’s close to literally everything. Anytime I had a work order, maintenance was always quick to respond, the office staff was great to interact with, and the neighbors are always nice. We will miss living here.
Camden Lake Pine and the entire staff is absolutely incredible!!! EVERYONE at the office is always willing to go above and beyond to help make your day!!! Especially Lauren...my husband and I were out-of-town and had left some important documents...Lauren was able to get the documents and overnight them to us!!!! That type of customer service is so seldomly seen in todays world...and we have it right here at Camden Lake Pine!!!!On our first visit here, we knew immediately that we had found our new home!!! We love living here!!!!
Awesome place to live. Beautiful surroundings, clean, safe, and dogs are welcome too.I live here since 18 years and cannot be happier.I highly recommend Camden lake Pine💖
Very nice place. Camden runs this property very well. They do a lot of fun things like bring food trucks for the people to enjoy. They have a gym, oversize pool, car wash port, and car garages. The best part of the property is that you can walk right on to the Apex Community Park, Lake Trail. The inside of the apartments are very spacious with high ceilings. Also a great location to near places like grocery shopping, restaurants, and many more local places. If you want to Live in Apex and are looking for an apartment please give Camden a look.
Okay place - nice quiet community. A lot being built around it within walking distance (Im sure theyre very happy about that!) Although my only issues are the trash being stock piled through the weekend and over flowing, the grass is basically filled with dog droppings, no place for smokers to dispense so its like walking through an ashtray at times, no sidewalks for kids which keeps you on high alert when driving ... even at 5 MPH. Other than that the staff is super friendly, they really care, work orders were completed within a day. A great place - but like everywhere. There are issues.
We just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Taylor Sellers at the Camden Lake Pine apartments. We have been here for over 6 months now and he always make sure our apartment and our appliances are taken care of. Whenever we submit a service request it is taken care of quickly and the quality of work is extremely good! Were thankful to have such a caring and hardworking team taking care of our unit.
I lived at Lake Pine for about a year and a half, and to this day I consider it to be the best apartment I’ve ever lived in. The only reason that I left is because work took me back to Florida. I want to give kudos to Jen, the assistant manager who was amazing to work with from the first day I met her until the day I moved out. I recently learned that she was leaving Camden to pursue other opportunities. Whoever takes her place has some big shoes to fill.
Love living in Camden Lake Pine. When we did have an issue that required maintenance they were prompt and professional. The office staff have always been polite and professional. Grounds are clean as well. I love the location, its convenient to work and my kids schools and the prices are comparable to other communities in the area. I would definitely recommend this community.
This place is beautiful! I highly recommend the complex for anyone who is looking for an area to live that is above the standard. It has a very friendly and quiet environment. The staff is attentive to our needs and immediately responds to any issue. We have garbage pick up at our door, beautiful pools, well equipped gym, office center, cable/internet included in our rent, well kept grounds, and have direct access to the Apex Community Park. We are in walking distance to the grocery store and many restaurants.
Very professional and very friendly staff. Anytime I email a question it gets answered right away. They make you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door! They listened to all my concerns and helped us so much! Thank you :)
I have lived in the Camden Lake Pine community for two years, I think the grounds are extremely clean and that the community is beautiful. I believe the landscaping company is called Heaven and Earth, but they do a great job maintaining the grass, flowers, and trees. The biggest benefit of living in Lake Pine is the lake in close walking distance, the path is two miles long and also has good fishing spots and trails for mountain bikers. By living here you can also save money by living very close to Kroger, multiple restaurants, and two gas stations. In 2015 the Coctco construction project started right beside the community off Highway 64.
From the very beginning Camden was very professional and honest about everything. Every email and request ive had, their response was very quick. Maintenance keeps up with the neighborhood its clean and also safe, being that i have 2 small children.
Service is always performed in a timely and professional manner. If you do need service ask for Justin.
I have had nothing but good experiences with camden lake pine. The price of rent is competitive with other Apartments but the location of this place is what makes it worth while. There is shopping centers and restaurants within walking distance but the complex does not see extra traffic because of it. The lake, breezeway, and park are an amazing bonus to living at Camden Lake Pine. The maintenance staff is very quick with addressing any issues and the office staff is very professional, courteous, and dare I say down right gorgeous. I would recommend Camden Lake Pine to any one of my friends and family.
Moving in on the 20th, coming from another state because of a job. I was in and out and approved within minutes. I cant remember her name at the front desk female with glasses. She was nice and very responsive to my 1000 questions I had about the community and what they had to offer.
Thank you to the office staff Ashley,Jen, and Jordan for helping me pick the perfect apartment to spend another year at Camden lake pine!! The office staff is very professional, courteous, and they always take the time to listen to the community!!
I have always enjoyed living here at Camden Lake Pine apartments (7 years). I love the trash pickup available from Sundays to Thursdays. The office and maintenance staff have always been pleasant and professional. I love the prompt service given to service requests. I love the new Food Truck Fridays and Sweet Thursdays and the efforts being made to make this community a little more enjoyable. The community is located near the Triangle Expressway, malls in either direction, and now, we will have more shopping options just down the street real soon. The gyms have been updated. It is a relatively safe area. We have a trail connecting us to Lake Pine. If you are not looking for perfection (as things will and can go wrong, even in the best of circumstances and with the economy the way it is, everything cannot be free), but you are looking for a decent place to live, nice staff to work with, and some nice amenities, Camden Lake Pine is it!
Unfortunately I am stuck with the lease. They charge cable and valley trash in rent. Valley rash is disgusting. They dump trash bags from 2nd floor with bottles in it. Next day you can find the rotten food lying on the floor. When the issue was brought to the management attention they simply say that its been taken care of. You pay 30 dollars per month just for the valley trash and they decide how many trash bags you can trash every day, how much it should weigh, what time it should be out even if you are not home. Emails are sent out that valley trash is being picked up in the afternoon due to inclement weather but the trash remains at the door step for the next couple of days. This has lead to huge increase in ROACHES coming out of walls, nukes and corners. But if you have a trash bag left out in the day because you are traveling out of town you get a notice of violation and a fine of 25 dollars. If you want be be healthy stay away from this community. There are better communities for less price.
The community is beautiful, and the staff is helpful and friendly. Great apartments!
I moved here on November 2013 because my best friend invited me to stay with him until I got a job (I just came back from 5 years in Italy), and we ended up moving into a bigger apartment, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. So far everything is great, actually I think the management has improved in the last year and half. Every time something is wrong in the apt., they take care of it right away. The grounds are clean, the grass is very well kept, and its quiet. Also, we are at a walking distance from the lake and a shopping center, thus we dont have to drive far to get things or go to the Vet.If I could improve something, Id say: give us the freedom to choose which cable company we would like to use; build another pool, (2 are not enough for such a big community); and it would be great if hoists could be added to each building: carrying stuff or furniture on the second floor with stairs is no fun. I also would like to see the number of cats allowed in each apt., its kept to max 3, which is good already, but I wish it could be more. Other than this, life here is good.
I love living here. The staff is always so helpful and kind. Anything that breaks gets fixed right away, even the stove light being out. I havent lived in an apartment in 6 years so I was skeptical but Im so glad my sister talked me into it. Thanks Camden!
I moved to NC a year ago, into Camden Lake Pine, and found it to be in a great central location. It is close to the high school, shopping and highway! The gym and pool area are great and very handy. The staff, from the office folks to the maintenance workers, are very pleasant and very responsive....!!
I just want to say thank you to taylor feorm maintance for always coming in here expecting to fix one or two things and ends up with a huge list ! And you always do it with a smile and so quickly
Moving is very stressful and Ashley made our family a top priority finding the right apartment in our budget. Even when the week of move in became a little tricky the staff jumped right in to work with our problems. They listened and worked with us to make our transition as easy and with as little stress as possible.
The apartments at Lake Pine are great. They are very well maintained and the staff are exceptionally friendly. The only reason I do not give 5 stars is the price. I am not an experienced apartment shopper but in addition to the monthly cost pets are expensive as well. We did not have a pet when we were moving in so we were not aware that it would be so expensive to have them at some point. (I am sure they have their reasons for the price, it is just steep in my opinion) Overall, the facilities are great and service problems are taken care of pretty much the next day. Would recommend for a couple or single individual.
I have stayed in a lot of places in my lifetime and this one is number 1 in my book. The price and the amenities are just unbelievable. They cater to your every need and after 19 weeks of living there on a job I was doing in Apex NC. You have everything you need there just bring your clothes and food and they cover the rest. When ever I am traveling for business or pleasure to with in 100 miles of there I will stay there. The surrounding community has so much to offer as well and if you like big cities Raleigh is not but 20 minutes away.
Jordan A. was amazing to work with! She turned a very frustrating situation into a postive one. Found a perfectly priced townhome for us, and we are super excited to move in!Running trails, the lake, pools, gym, car wash station, AND super close to Costco and many shopping options. And it’s close enough, yet far enough from work.
Got a new job in Apex and knew what I wanted but knew nothing about this area. I looked hard for a place that would check all the boxes. From the start of my search Camden Lake Pine Apartments pictures were impressive. It was going to be my first place to look. Made the call to set appointment and was treated with a well spoken professional. Great communication via email and text. Impressive club house and office. OUTSTANDING staff welcomed me and treated me beyond my expectations. JORDAN ACKLEY was great. Extremely informative and great with staying in touch with me on available units of my liking. After my appointment I knew I had found a place I would be happy living. The grounds, unit selections, garages, location and staff were perfect. The application process was easy. The move in process was clearly translated and easy. My unit was perfect from day one. I have been here a week and have had a pleasant experience with the friendly residents. One last thing. The complex is right next to a great public park with large lake and walking distance to restaurants, bars and shopping.Cheers!Happy New Resident
I have loved living at Camden Lake Pine over the last 2 years. The location is perfect for walking, running, hiking around Lake Pine and the staff is amazing. I would highly recommend this complex!
Kim, Jen, and Jordan are an awesome, kind, and always smiling bunch. They hold the fort down and are always willing to help. Maintance request get taken care of promptly and the crew is always friendly. Camden Lakepine is a great place to live!
There were multiple issues with Camden when I lived there. The buildings are old, the dumpster was broken almost every week it seemed so there were piles of trash always surrounding it. The pools were also closed almost every weekend. The apartment that I was in was taped off with caution tape for about 11 days because of a plumbing issues. It was an enter at your own risk type of ordeal. Then within a couple of months our washing machine broke and flooded the laundry room/kitchen/part of the living room. Then a month later our water heater broke flooding our upstairs and bathroom downstairs. Paint was falling off the walls. There was an issue with mold to which they just cleaned it off with bleach. Be aware that they have a $300 pet FEE not DEPOSIT. It doesnt go towards anything. I know quite a few people who live/lived in a Camden resident and whom all have their own horror stories with the apartments. I would not recommend Camden to anyone.
The grounds here are beautiful. Peaceful and relaxing. We love living here.
Barking dogs make it feel as though you are living at the animal shelter. If you enjoy feeling like you live in a dog kennel come on over! Management is unresponsive.Traffic continues to be a problem on 64 in Apex and is only getting worse since they opened the Costco shopping center.. Pine Plaza drive speed limit makes crossing the street at Shepherds Vineyard Drive unsafe..this is also the school bus stop! People trying to avoid hwy 64 now use Pine Plaza Drive. Traffic and road noise is only getting worse. 4 story apartment buildings are planned for the west side of the complex next to Costco so noise, dust and debris will continue to be a problem.
It is a great place to live! The price is right and it is kept neat and clean and the management/staff is super friendly and always willing to help if there is an issue.
When i moved here nearly four years ago, i got an awesome updated apartment which i love for a very reasonable price. Since then, the rent has increased to the tune of 350 dollars. We are forced to pay valet and cable which together equal another 100 dollars per month! The quality and service is pretty good i must admit, however the attitudes of some of the people here leave much to be desired. I keep my apartment in brand new living conditions and due to the rent increase i will be leaving next spring. For apartment living i believe camden does its best, however for the price im paying i will buy my own townhouse and still pay less per month.
Excellent place to live and the ladies in the office are the best!!! Im glad we chose to live here over all the other choices we had.
Where did my review disappear to? Very strange that I left a negative review and it vanished?
The staff at Camden Lake Pine are top notch, maintenance team is great, very kind and accommodating, and the grounds are constantly kept neat, clean, and beautiful!
Great community with awesome/friendly staff members. The community is well kept, people are friendly, and it is conveniently located next to amenities such as grocery store, starbucks, dry cleaners, gas, etc.The people who work in the office and the maintenance staff are especially great people!!
I have live there for 3 years and its a great apartment complex. The location is great and the staff is friendly.
I lived here for a little over a year and absolutely loved it. There were some things I was not thrilled with like some of you, but let me make this perfectly clear: I KNEW ABOUT THEM WHEN I SIGNED THE LEASE. I am not a fan of time warner, but thats what they had so I went with it. Same with valet trash. That is becoming the norm everywhere, and I knew about it upfront. You can pretty much tell by the reviews which are objective and which are not. The grounds were beautiful. True, some people dont pick up after their dogs, not managements fault. There was not trash everywhere. There were people who did nothing but pick up trash/debris all day long. Price increases of this nature are now a norm in Cary, Apex, and Morrisville. No one is fond of that. But again, they hide nothing. Read the lease. I had no problem understanding it was a pet fee that I would not be getting back.Pools being closed were not managements fault. If you read the paper, you know that our entire area had problems with pools carrying disease, and many were shut down much longer. Bottom line, I love the people in the office, they listened when I had a complaint, and they did whatever they could.
The absolute best living experience i have had since moving down south by way of Manhattan, NYC. 100% friendly and attentive staff, from the office staff to the maintenance staff. They collectively help build a sense of community among the residents. Maintenance is super prompt and extremely friendly! it just seems like no matter the circumstance any issues that we have had with our living space have been resolved quickly! There has been a noticeable & substantial effort put forth to not only maintain but go above and beyond when providing care for resident amenities. From the new card/fob entry; to the amazing new grills! Management and staff just seem to get it! Daily, i proudly walk our little guy Charlie through the complex and without fail, the friendly staff always greet us. As far as building a sense of community among residents, you just never know what they will do next. They have had a movie screen set up for residents to come and watch movies outdoors, on my way out one morning i remember Jen standing by the exit with Duck Doughnuts offering a doughnut on my way out to work. ice cream days, food trucks...the list goes on and on. I also do not want to forget to mention the level of connection and effort that the staff put toward keeping up with resident posts on their facebook like social media page. My only complaints about living in Camden at Lake Pine is that some residents do not offer more appreciation for the Luxuries they receive. I would highly recommend Camden Lake Pine as a great place to live! oh and Costco, Kroger and a load of stores are with in walking distance, thats a super plus. Oh and almost forgot the (2mile) Lake that is in our backyard, where there is also a basketball court, tennis courts and picnic area! Been here two years now and we are looking forward to spending a few more years here! Im just a happy resident :)
The repairs are never done right and they always leave a mess. They dont clear parking lots when it snows, which caused my car to be hit. They wont take money off rent for problems caused by them.
I live in Camden two and the Half year. My experience too bad. Many roaches in my building. And nobody slove the my problem. And when I move this apartment I have a some problem in my home my father in law hospitalized and my husband not in town . I am alone with my little babys and I am done my all moving alone . But I am did good cleaning my side but apartment stuff charge me a huge amount . I am really disappointed . Nobody understand my problem.
The grounds are DISGUSTING! Not only do most people not pick up after their dogs, there is trash everywhere!. My dog almost choked to death on a chicken bone during our walk. The bone was right by a leaking can of beer, several grocery bags and an open box of a dozen donuts. Cant wait to move out.
I HAVE BEEN LIVING AT CAMDEN LAKE PINE FOR 6YEARS. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE. STARTING WITH MANAGEMENT AND THE OFFICE STAFF. THESE FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS PEOPLE ARE ALWAYSWILLING TO LISTEN AND DO EVERY THING THEY CAN TO ACCOMODATE YOU. THE MAINTENCE. TEAM ARE THE BEST. POLITE, EFFICIENT AND WELL TRAINED. THEY DONT STOP UNTIL A SOLUTION TO ANY PROBLEM IS FOUND. THEY ARE THE BEST RATE 11. ALL OF MY NEEDS ARE QUICKLY TAKEN CARE OF. THE GROUNDS ARE BEAUTIFULLY KEPT. I HAVE A NICE 2BEDROOM APT. (BIG ROOMS).THERE ARE 5FT WINDOWS IN EACH ROOM 2 IN LIVING ROOM. MY APARTMENT IS NICE AND BRIGHT. I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO CHECK OUT THESE APTS. ALL MOST FORGOT, MY APT HAS 2 LARGE WALK IN CLOSETS AND FULL SIZE WASHER AND DRYER. I THINKYOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY HERE
Kim at Camden Lake Pine was not friendly and nor willing to help. Not sure why but will look at other great communities to live. She was very short, cold, and snooty. First impressions do count when interacting with future residents.
Beautiful view? Check. Nice Clubhouse with pool and green nature hikes, Check.... It doesnt offer much incentive.I checked it out myself there are more cons to the pros here. For one the cheapest 1 bedroom they had ran $785 not bad right? Well with the MANDATORY technology package it runs another $80 a month, plus waste fees so my quote went up to $906. The room had no renovations and was all white traditional and you can see the craftmanship is OK not bad but nothing excellent at that price I can guarantee that. The renovated one which costs more didnt look that great either. The carpeting is plane and so is the walls with the color, it isnt much in terms of renovation. I dont know how new this place is but it didnt feel new.On top of this, the room layouts for the 1 bedroom werent too exciting or creative, a simple design as you have seen anywhere else that isnt luxury. This place may come off as luxury, with its nice clubhouse and grand scheme of things, but honestly, as a new renter and looking at multiple places the PRICE is too high for the QUALITY of the room... dated look, and traditional all white counter tops doesnt do it any favors for young folks. The saving grace is the beautiful natural green hikes and surrounding areas it is in, the new COSTCO is downs the street and local retailers are very close. This place is too costly for what you get and the mandatory tech package killed any interest I had. $80 and you are forcing HBO?? most people my age only use internet. Thanks but no thanks. This is a review based on my tour, not living currently. Lawrence Spivey was a gentleman and was very upfront about everything, he made the tour and experience nice though! :)
I will start off by saying that Jennifer in the office was very helpful. We moved here from out of state and she sent us pictures of apartments and sent multiple pricing/floor plan options. This helped a lot.Beware of a few things. If you have a noisy neighbor (e.g. stomping, excessive noise at obscure hours, loud music, exercising, or a child running etc.) you can complain all day but in the end they cannot do anything about noise. One can only deal with so much noise. You do not enjoy your time at home and you do not get good sleep. If you tap on the ceiling as a courtesy to say hey, its a little loud the front desk will lose their damn minds- because that is instigating. Seriously?Camden has areas designated for dogs to go to the bathroom and they even provide waste bags for pick-up, but people still allow their animals to pee on side walks or do not always pick up animal waste. Camden does not patrol so you are left to deal with that or you have to be tattle-tail and good luck with that.Cockroaches. Enough said. When you get your technology package it is through TWC set-up by Camden so if you have a problem you do not have an account number. TWC is already incompetent. Throw in that curve ball and you have yourself a headache. Our electric - OMG. We have multiple outlets that have only one working plug and two that shoot out sparks when you plug something in. Someone came out and said that they checked it and everything was fine, but its not. They needed me to put sticky notes on stuff. This is electrical - you would think it would be in the best interest of the company to check each outlet (in addition to the problem ones to make sure it is safe). Guess what? I got tired of the BS so I have outlets that do not work.I will plug another positive - when we do log a maintenance need they are quick to respond. Here is the flip side, after being assured that no one would enter our place after 3pm (because our son would be home alone) they did anyway and gave him a hard time when he did not know what needed to be checked/fixed. Really - you are going to give a kid a hard time.My husband and I are reasonable and after relocating we did not expect perfection. We expected some noise and apartment living type stuff. When you are clean, quiet and courteous it becomes grinding to have to deal with one thing after another. One weekend we left our trash can outside throughout the day and got a warning notice. That is a violation so I am not disputing that, but here is the kicker - almost every other apartment around us just sets their trash out without the can. The rules clearly state that you must use the can. So was I a violator - yes. Is it annoying though to get caught the one time you do violate by leaving a trash can outside (that is clean and empty) but your neighbors can let their dogs pee on the walkway, they can create excessive noise - admit to it - and not be held accountable? YES!We are not alone. I am sure some people live in ignorant bliss. I am not one of them and a few people I have spoken to have had the same problems we have had.I almost forgot. MOLD. We had it in our bedroom and den windows. The remedy - bleach. So much bleach your eyes and nose burns for several days. When it returned I asked if there was another alternative (aside from bleach). No one responded, just a maintenance person with bleach. They left a note too suggesting that I open windows from time to time to air out areas. Um, in January when it is freezing cold I should do what? They recommended we use fans in the kitchen and bathroom - which we do and that isnt where the mold was. Then they suggested that our fish tank was part of the problem. A 5 gallon fish tank three rooms away from the area with mold. Sure. That must be it. Not the lack on insulation. Gotcha.Would I recommend moving here? NO. Are there worse places to live? SURE - but why use that as the benchmark? One star for spacious living area and for allowing pets. The lack of stars is for everything else.
Hi, my name is vicki, i moved to nc in july of 2011 from the south shore of long island, ny. it was a really big adventure for me. i had to find some place to live . my daughter and her husband came to camden and met this lovely girl named jaimie. jaimie was so upbeat and friendly to the point where she won over my daughter and husband. that was the start of my new home here at camden. i was a little uncertain about living so far from my home of fourty years. .that did not last long. everyone here at camden went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and and welcomed me warmly. . everyone i met outside was saying hello and waving. what a beautiful place to live. trees, plants and beautiful grounds every where i looked. i was in my new home. it is 2015 and i still feel the same only more so because of all the terrific people who work here and the friendly people all around me. i know this was the right place for me. i have two really big bedrooms with walk-in closets big enough to put a bed in them. big closets, this woman is in heaven.. never had so much space. each bathroom is a very nice size and the kitchen fits perfectly . my rooms all have large windows about 5X5 everywhere. it is so bright and peaceful to look at the beauty that surrounds me. they will have to evict me to get me to leave . i must mention the super staff who maintain our apts and come usually the same day if i need them. with outside barbeques, 2 pools, beautiful surroundings i find myself nestled in very comfey. there is a supermarket, aplace to have my hair cut, spa like nail salons, bank, chinese restaurant and much more right outside, less than a 2 block walk. fast food is right here in the supermarket complex and so many restaurants, shopping places. parks and so much more. what makes my story a little different is the fact that ihad a serious fall in 2012, the results left me unable to drive around now i am driven, i was here alone (my daughter and her husband live nearby. the best part is that i was not afraid to be here on my own. .i depend on family and some very special taxi drivers who spoil me... i have adjusted and enjoy life everyday with my best friend samantha my cat. thats all hope, you will check camden out i dont think you will be disapointed. best to all. vicki
ROACHES. Really big Cockroaches. Noise disturbances with neighbors, management does nothing effective to handle problem.Would not recommend this place.
Very good staf
Worst place ever. I left after 6 months because it was terrible. Ice maker never worked, bugs in the apartment when we moved in and we were told they would be taking care of but they werent. Flood in our apartment because of a pipe burst and it wasnt fixed for 2 days. Never anyone in the office to talk to or get out of the apartment.
Every issue I’ve had the “Camden Crew” went above and beyond. Especially Jen, Jordan and Tim with maintenance.
Good place to live, great management!
Very high rent
