We went for my daughter’s swim meet this weekend and found the facility to be a very nice family recreation center. The have a skate park, basketball, racket ball and a nice sized swimming pool. I was impressed with their facilities for ADA as well. I highly recommend as a good winter facility to get your workout on.

The girl at the front desk, I think her name was Michael, was very bad at her job and she scanned my scan card 16 times so I had to stay at the pool for 16 hours they wouldnt let me leave I had to stay from 5 am to 3 am. :( But the sauna was nice!! One person at the front might say the sauna is closed but dont worry its definitely open! The front lobby is great for loitering too!

Everything is here. I swam with my family of five for a day pass of $25. Not crowded and friendly staff.

Nicely put away in the woods. Good skatepark but needs renovations. The pool could be better and the workout space is limited. It’s main customers are older people trying to stay in shape and not really aimed for younger kids. Can still do great for them but not a place where a kid will have a blast

Wish they had a bigger gym with some more equipment, other than that the facility as a whole is nice with a friendly staff.

My mom and a friend rented 2 diving boards for an hour and 15 minutes. We get there and there is a class going on that the staff never notified us about, but the instructor was still kind enough to let us train. But then about 15 minutes after that the fire department comes in for training. We were only there for 30 minutes out of the 1hr and 15 we paid for and the staff also failed to tell us about that as well. The lack communication was terrible and unprofessional. There are definitely better facilities in the area.

Audrey Moore rec center is a hidden gem. I didnt know about this place until my son started a Pottery class there. They have baseball fields as you enter the park, which is conveniently located off of 495 at the Braddock Road exit. They have an amazing pool (you need a reservation to use it due to Covid-19 protection measures), and they offer Pottery classes and have open pottery sessions available.

They have a lot of activities here. They have large fields and outdoor spaces, a decent indoor facility (the gym is much better than Providence) and Ive enjoyed a few exercise classes offered here.

Currently there is a mask mandate but several gym goers don’t bother wearing one. Also, instead of wiping down the machines with disinfectant, after using, I see people spraying the machines until dripping and then just walking away. Maybe there should be an attendant on duty. Or more signage.

Conveniently located right off 495 and Braddock Rd. Plenty of activities. Large indoor pool.

Mask Making for Fairfax County - FCPA employees whose hours have been cut because of Park and RECenter closures can make up their hours by signing up as volunteers for mask making - among other things!

The rec center is always great. I think its only open for swimming if you make an appointment. The park outside is also great. Neat rocks in the creek and plenty of wildlife including deer and foxes.

This rec center has a big pool, gym and all kinds of courts for playing different sports. I bought 25 visit pass for $175 and got complimentary 3 sessions with a coach. It is a great program to help new members to become familiar with gym equipment, get a free body composition analysis(fat, muscle percentage), set up fitness goals and steps to achieve them. I highly recommend this rec center and this Get Fit program!

Great pool, racket ball, and decent weight set.

I have a 1 year membership at the moment. Cozy gym area with everything you need. Friendly staff. I love the competitive basketball they have on Tuesdays! Showers are well maintained and pool is large and nice! I would recommend getting a membership and staying active!

Good beginner mountain bike trails with several easy skills features. Perfect place to introduce a new MTBr. Slow to dry out after rain / snow. Biking Bad with TC.

My family was trapped in an elevator for 2.5 hours and when we complained about it, they told it’s not their fault that their elevator did not work and they are not responsible. Do not take their elevators.

Temperature checks, online reservation system, practice COVID safety protocols, pool, fitness center and locker rooms receive hourly scheduled cleanings.

Glad to know its open. Kids who dont have access to a private pool membership can swim now.

This is a really nice rec center. They have a pottery lab, a skate park, lots of tennis courts and fields for soccer and lacrosse. The person who teaches the dog obedience classes there is phenomenal.

This is a beautiful place to enjoy with the family. They have different kind of classes including yoga and other fitness related, or handcrafts. Gym has new stuff and its easy to find our own way. Pool is huge but I think showers need some mainteinance.people make the difference, they are nice, always smiling, kind and helpful. I think this is the most important value they have.

Huge facility, big indoor pool, nice area for birthday parties, and very friendly and helpful staff. We had a great time here for our friends sons birthday party! It was a lot of fun and wed love to visit again!

We have been taking kids enrichment classes here for years. Most of time the classes are just so so. However, our most recent 2 classes were so bad that we dropped both of them just a couple weeks in. Id recommend Audrey Moore to hire qualified instructors that are 1) show up, 2) on time, 3) understand how to work with children and 4) fun.

I go to the Farmers market on Wednesday afternoons from 2 to 6. Its a small market, but a nice selection of vendors. It has an herbalist there along with local honey. A pie lady, whos pies are to die for.

I went to the swim meet there and everything looked very organized.

There are great mountain bike trails that range from beginner to intermediate skill levels located all around this park. The accotink lake trail or cross country trail its also called is gravel and is very easy. There are bald eagle nest all around the lake and several mud and dirt trails leading off the main trail that are much more challenging and a log of fun with some jumps and stream crossings. Tons of fun and the trails run for miles in all directions.

The basketball rims are really rusty and the nets are ripped. Hopefully they fix this issue and I would love to see them expand the gym. However, they have one of the best swimming pools out there!

My son takes martial arts class there an my daughter & I take a art class there. The facility is great and the pool & skate park are awesome.

Were doing campus at Audrey Moore RECenter and they are great. The first 2 camps are science campus which are great for my son who is 6. Next up is biking and skateboarding.

Staff is great

The place is nice and all but there is discrimination against skaters. The lights are on the tennis courts and fields when nobody is using them. Then the skatepark lights dont turn on when there are 40-50 people in the park.

It has all of the neccessaryWork out machines to continue rehab plus a pool.

My wife was receiving physcial therapy at the time of my visit. And the rec center seem like a pretty nice environment to bring the family to patronize all the services they offer. I wish i was a fairfax resident to take part of the great membership discount.

I come here for the gym and fitness classes. There are more older folks in the gym so its pretty relaxed. The gym has plenty of aerobic exercise equipment; I never have to wait or feel rushed. The free weight area is on the smaller size though. Depending on the time of day, the place can be very crowded with kids coming for the pool. Finding parking could be a pain during these times.

Love there deep water aerobics. Instructor Laurin is fantastic. Front desk folks are friendly & very welcoming. Lifeguards are friendly & professional. Facility is clean.

Nice facility with wide variety of activites including raquetball court, swimming pools, gym, basketball court, skate park, and several rooms for classes such as dance and yoga.

This place receptions are the worest! While we where stand waiting them they all sell ice cream for all cump students.

Shut up,Idiot. Stilts would not help - it easily gets airborne. Its a, most thorough -☣️☢️☠️BIOGAGHAZARD☠️☢️☣️Ull have to wait forever for the clean up contracting crew to never come off of being on their unofficially undeclared labor strike - and/or the FX County government oversite management staff to do same and get up off their lazy rear ends for a change and do their jobs! The OakMar ReCenter and the rest are no better or even worse! And, dont bother trying to say anything about this serious health hazard to anyone at these facilitys - they will make up a LIE to get you thrown out for good. So, if you go to one of these places - be prepared to deal with the very expensive consequences in doing so - and even more - such as sacrificing your very own life, even, in doing so!

If your child is taking tennis here be sure to avoid Joseph Carruth. He was 15 mins late for our class and was angry when he arrived. He didn’t identify himself as coach just walked right passed us. He brought his grand daughter to class with him and explained she was out of school and she would be playing with the class. No problem right? School was closed due to inclement weather and so I brought my 6 yr old to class with my 4 yr old who is enrolled. The coach said my 6 yr old was a distraction by playing on the vacant side of the court. I removed him closer to the entrance away from class and my son was bouncing a small tennis ball, no distraction no big deal right? Nope the coach just wanted to find a reason to cancel class since he was already late. Considering the fact he brought his 5 yr granddaughter to class and had her run drills with the tennis class although she isn’t enrolled, but my son is the distraction? He rudely announced I needed to “remove” my son. I told him I could not remove my 6yr old. He canceled class, kids only played 10 mins since he was already late. He wasted an entire class time and parent’s time. Rude and arrogant behavior should not be overlooked because you are USTA certified.

Staff were are super friendly.

I am a senior citizen who has recently started using AMRC on a regular basis (3 times/week) -greatly due to Ria Hiponia, a personal trainer, who has been helping me strengthen my back (and body). She is great! Also - the AMRC has all the equipment I need and the staff is most helpful.

Everything is good except the price for a youth/student.
