Pretty disappointing quality for an Acura Dealership. Only positive was the Salesman, Michael, who was able to get us accommodated. Outside of that, test drove a car that apparently is “182 point certified,” yet was making grinding and rattling noise over bumps and had parts of the seat attachment coming off. Probably better off going to Jeffrey or Troy Acura.

After finding a vehicle we liked online, a 2011 Lexus IS 250, we went in to the dealership without making an appointment. Michael Onwuegbuna greeted us when we arrived, and arranged a test drive for us there on the spot.Even though it was right before the time they were supposed to close, they were accommodating and never mentioned the fact that they are scheduled to be closed shortly. There was a slight hiccup in the process, as after we started the car, it shut off, and turned out it was out of gas. Not a problem though, Michael apologized and then this was quickly remedied and we were off on the test drive.We were pleased with the car and negotiated a fair sale immediately afterwards, which was straight forward, and we were pleased with the acceptable price and overall experience. The next day we signed the financing paperwork and drove the car off the lot. Michael, and the financing person, and the dealership manager were all pleasant, professional and polite. I would recommend Michael and the rest of the team there at Fox Ann Arbor Acura for your car buying experience.

Went in for a tire rotation and oil change on my TSX. Maintenance man came out with near $2,000 of service “required”. I went and got second and third opinion of all items. They claimed the brakes were shot (verified twice that they were okay), the fuel injection system need to be cleaned, the drive belt (verified in good condition). Overall experience just felt like a scam from entrance to exit. Highly recommend “run”

I recently purchased a used vehicle at Fox Ann Arbor Acura and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The communication was friendly and clear, the price was fair and the trade-in valuation of my old car was also very fair. There was no hard sell (a pet peeve of mine). The car had just recently come on the lot and they hadnt been able to do a full detailing and clean before I asked to drive it, but even after I decided to go ahead and make the purchase, they went ahead and did everything after we shook hands, so to speak. The Customer service is Rude and they dont even care about servicing the vehicle once you purchase a vehicle from Acura. Its better to go for other premium cars instead of buying Acura Vehicles.

Besides the very competitive price I was able to purchase the vehicle for, the overall buying experience was nothing short of fantastic! Ive been in the customer service industry for over 22 years so Im fully aware of what it takes to provide great customer service. The communication via email and phone calls was extremely prompt from the start. They answered every single one of my questions to my 100% satisfaction. The delivery process was absolutely seamless. I had lined up my own financing with a very competitive rate but they put me onto a lender who saved me a full percentage point! I have been purchasing a lot of stuffs from Fox Acura’s parts department lately and the experience was satisfying. Kyle from parts was very responsive in picking up the phone and knowledgeable on what part I need for the job. For any special order parts, they can get it in the next day! At one point when I messed up on a coolant flush job and had to order another set of coolant fluid (2 gallons). I told him about it. With some empathy, he knocks a few bucks off for each gallon. That is not a lot of money or saving, but it shows that Fox Acura really cares for its customer and always do their best to make their customer happy when they walk out. I will definitely come back to get more parts from them.

I have always been a Ford family. After 2 decades of driving Expedition ELs or Excursions I finally decided to downsize. John the manager was amazing! He work for months to find me the exact car I wanted. I was very specific, picky and also nervous about downsizing. He never pressured me to make a decision and ultimately that is why I went with Acura. He was always upfront about the numbers and very straight forward. There was no pressure at all to purchase which I loved! Fast forward a few years when life changes and I actually no longer need a my MDX. I call and talk to John again who put me in touch with Jade which is the used car manager. He was amazing and worked so hard to get me the most for my Acura MDX. Once again no pressure they told me all my options right up front with estimates. I honestly couldnt be more pleased with a dealership. All service was amazing each time and everyone is so friendly. I do not write reviews often especially where people can see my name. However, when I experience amazing customer service I think everyone should know. I will 100% be back to Fox Acura when I purchase again. They go above and beyond to make it as stress free as possible. 2020 has not been the best year for me as far as vehicles go. Ive lost two due to accidents within a short time, and while searching for my third, I happened upon a listing on cars.com for a GMC Terrain.I had been trying to do all correspondence via email, and it was a bit of a rocky start, but then I was put into contact with Lindo Bautista, and everything was a breeze afterward. The LCD display. The dash display. Then the headlights. We were thankfully able to get off the highway, and creep it over to a nearby gas station. Brent in service was rude and unprofessional. He assumed I was a customer that called in prior and didnt want to listen to what I had to say. It is obvious that he didnt want my business and was unwilling to work with me at all. All I was asking for was a quote for a repair. He insisted on me driving in (45 mins 1 way) so the technician could look at the car. I asked to talk to someone else and he transferred me to the parts department. I called again and left a message with the manager of the dealership awaiting a call back. I have never experienced anything like this in the past so I decided to share my experience. Hopefully others have better luck than I did.

I ended up purchasing an additional feature to the vehicle that they ordered and installed without issue. Also, they got me a better loan rate through U of M credit union than my own credit union. Overall very satisfied with the whole experience. It went very smooth.

I had a good experience with this dealership. I had set up an appointment to test drive a car that same day and they were able to get me in. Everyone was so polite and they even let me temporarily keep my old car on their property until I’m able to come pick it up. The only drawback to my experience was having to wait around about 4 hours before I was able to finalize buying the car. I didn’t have any plans so it didn’t mess up my schedule but it was still a long time of waiting around. They did make sure I had water and that I was comfortable while I waited.
Great parts department here, often times they offer price matching with bernardi acura if you ask. Worth making the drive over vs waiting for parts to come in.

Initially, we did have some negative experiences with their repair service, but the management reached out to me after seeing my initial review and the problems were all resolved. Its really impressive that they actually follow up with their customers like this. It is very apparent that they really care about customer satisfaction.
Update: My old trade in vehicle was finally paid off after 3 or so months. The finance manager was really nice and helpful trying to fix the issue I had with contract. So finally after few months of struggling to get my old vehicle paid off, get new contract started, now I feel like I own a Acura. Thanks, John for following up with my situation. I updated to 3 star for the average of 1 and 5The dealer that makes a luxury car look like cheap used car. We bought the car at night and asked for gray but they gave us a silver model. The new mdx has its own issues being dirty and this rubber piece by all windows falling off. Then they mess up on my paperwork and send the statement to wrong place. They mess up on the down payment not being processed. And they asked for me to sign a new contract, which I didn’t. All my years with Honda and my parents experience with Honda was the best. So I thought I should give Acura a chance and this dealer just ruins the whole experience. I would drive few more miles and go to other Acura dealer because this one will most-likely go out of business again with the new owner..

I really truly liked and recommended the service department at Ann Arbor Acura - until my air conditioner imploded a couple weeks ago. I now have to purchase a new car because of a known faulty part issue. While the part failing was not their fault, my frustration is that they could have prevented the issue, and that they didnt do enough to try to keep me as a customer.Its honestly tough to lose my car and the people I trusted to work on it.
I went their for safety recall, their service was fine and on time but as soon as I got my car back and hit the brake, the pedal went all the way in. I went back to them and told them that there was no issue at all when I left the car here and now as soon as I turn this on, brakes are like non existent.I was told that they only did airbag sensor and nothing else. I showed them something dripping underneath, they then lifted the car and confirmed what I pretty much told them that brake lines are leaking. I asked them whether they hit the car as it sits very low but they kept on saying that they had nothing to do with it and lines had rust on them. They did however filled in some brake fluid and handed me the keys.I still cant wrap my head around how Ive been driving this around for months and no issue with brakes what so ever, and now at this very instant, brakes just gave up. Thats some timing. Either way I expected more from them then just offering me to provide an estimate.
I bought my 2015 MDX from this Dealership and the process was pretty smooth. I worked with Sales Person John and the manager during the buying process. They were honest and very professional in their job. There were no hidden surprises. What is in the quote is what I paid. There follow up is also good.
I went in there prepared to trade in my 2016 TLX for a new lease. A salesman named Mike approached me and took the vehicle identification number as well as the last four of the social security number. A woman then walked up to himand he started waiting on her and went into an office and started talking to the woman and I assume her husband. I would have understood that if he is simply told me excuse me I need to help these people for a minute. That did not happen he just left me standing there and after 10 minutes I finally just left. I would have to believe theres another Acura dealership that would like my business.

Fox Ann Arbor Acura is a GREAT dealership. Ive been going there with my leased and owned vehicles for more than ten years now and have never had an issue with them. They have courteous and competent staff and a nice, well-equiped waiting area for service calls or a drop-off service if you wish. Cars are always washed after a service call.
Poor management. Will not return for sure. All your calls will be transferred to a voice mailbox that nobody ever checks. I called 5 times for service, and eventually the front desk Stacey (man shes not polite) transferred me to the manager Mike after I asked her to. At the day of service, They made me wait for 3 hours because they forgot to let me know there were issue on my car that I need to decide which one I want them to deal with. Thank goodness they arranged a rental car for me otherwise Id be stuck from noon to night. The only pleasant thing is that the cashier lady was friendly and helpful (sorry I forgot her name).

I leased an Acura RDX over a year ago. The dealership and product information shared by Acura state that Apple CarPlay is a feature of the car. It hasn’t worked since I’ve had the car. Well, it works intermittently. Maybe 1/4 of the time. It cuts in and out. A few months ago when I went to the dealership to inquire about this I was told by a service and sales person that there was no known issue with Apple CarPlay, and they suggested I get a new iPhone. That didn’t help. I’ve since learned that it’s been a know issue by Acura that all dealerships must have been aware of when I sought information and help with this issue. In a conversation with someone in the service dept about 6 weeks ago, I was told that Acura had a planned release of a software update to resolve this issue due out before Thanksgiving and to call back after Thanksgiving if it was not yet working. Today I called back and the service department told me they had no information on when a software update might be coming.I’m disappointed in Acura and this dealership. I’m looking to turn in my lease earlyA buggy infotainment center and Apple CarPlay may sound trivial. But when my navigation cuts out or when I need it or I can’t place a call out, etc. it becomes a safety issue. Also, “Luxury” vehicles having these kinds of issues that aren’t being resolved is particularly annoying.
I just purchased my first Acura and Im so glad I chose Fox Ann Arbor. They excel in professionalism, friendliness, and walked me through many financing options. I left in confidence and in style in my new RDX.
I just received correspondence from Acura financial that Im being charged a $371 lease turn-in fee. While I was clearly negligent in thoroughly reading the contract and signed at the bottom, I am very disheartened by this. Ive been leasing vehicles every 2-3yrs for over 20 years (two of which were Acuras) and have never been charged a turn in fee. I can tell you with 100% certainty this fee was not specifically brought to my attention during the signing of the paperwork, because I would not have agreed to it.At the time I leased the Acura, there were some shady things going on. Days after I leased the car I was told the sales manager was let go and I all of a sudden was sent a refund check because more money was charged to me than what was supposed to be. Now in light of this turn in fee that was slipped in, I feel completely duped by your dealership and by Acura. For this I will never do business with your dealership again. I sent two different people at the dealership an email about this, giving someone an opportunity to make this right but no one was bothered to respond.Another thing, I turned in my Acura a month ago and your dealership keeps harassing me with emails and phone calls about making arrangements to turn in my vehicle. Clearly you guys need to get your act together.

I never had a better service advisor than Ryan. My Acura ILX has audio related issues that are very difficult to find solutions to, but Ryan works above and beyond to make things right. He’s the reason why I drive 3 hrs to this dealership to have my car looked at when there is another Acura dealership an hour away. You absolutely cannot go wrong if you have him as your service advisor. Ryan treats his customers so incredibly well. He deserves a promotion!

Bought my MDX new at Ann Arbor Acura in 2008. Nicole Winkler, the service manager, is always professional, friendly, and extremely accommodating. Today I had an unexpected flat tire and a doctors appointment I needed to get to. Nicole was able to get my tire fixed quickly and I was on my way to my appointment . I ALWAYS buy my tires at Acura because of the incredible service, and I’ve had all my maintenance done there as well. Thanks again Nicole and Acura!!
