Best auto quick service experience I have ever had. It is stressful and nobody likes going, right? But these guys were fast, honest, friendly, and professional. They didnt try to upsell me in any way. They accepted that I truly wanted standard instead of ultra grade synthetic based on my unique vehicle and needs, without argument; and the only thing they gently suggested was what I knew I needed, a genuinely overdue transmission fluid replacement). They even were kind enough to show me how to secure the new battery I had been messing with the other day (I didnt anchor it right). Special shout out to Antonio (upper) and Bill (lower). I now feel safe driving, it runs smooth as new, and will recommend widely.

Let me get straight to the point as this story will restore your faith in humanity during these trying times! So after my oil change my car wouldn’t start because my wifey had the key fob as I dropped her off from work. I was so worried that I was slowing down their business as I took up a bay during peak work hours. Not only did they not get mad they helped me out and didn’t even talk about paying knowing that I was stressed with figuring how to finish my errands for the day. I was obviously going to have to take a couple ubers to get the key from wifey and then back. I didn’t even ask for help as I came to pay my bill so I can call an Uber. Out of nowhere they offered that they can take me to the where the key was. I was just in awe that they offered that without a word from me. I tried everything I could to pay them for the ride and time. They wouldn’t take it no matter how many attempts I tried to give them cash. What made me stop trying to give them money were what the owner said he said. He said we are just all people out here trying to get thru life! Talk about perspective. Not only did they give me a ride. It was one of the owners of the family owned business who took time out of his day to take me. Not only that. It was one of the most pleasant car rides I had in a long time. I got to know about his life and he got to know about mine! It was one of the most enjoyable experiences I ever had with a stranger on this planet. If you want your faith restored in humanity! Support this family owned business!

I needed an oil change, and the gentlemen here went above and beyond by doing the little things. They checked my car lights, took out the leaves that got under my hood, the man even knew how to reset my check engine light, which requires specific knowledge about my vehicle. Really like going here. This was my second time, and Ive referred others as well. The team is very friendly, not pushy with upsells on extra services or products, and quick with their service. I went today with what I thought was a need for a complete oil change. Instead, they informed me that I just a quart low, added it at no cost, and sent me on my way in about 6 minutes. Im so grateful for the guys at Choice Quick Lube! I went in today without a service appointment, desperately in need of replacing my rusted license plate. Al came to my rescue, spending over 30 minutes to make it happen. He tried different tools and in the end he had to drill the old screws off because they were so rusted. Alex also came to help. They put my new license plate in place so I can drive it around now without worries. These guys are so friendly and I cant believe that they told me not to worry about the payment for this after they spent a good 30 minutes to help me. Thank you, Al and Alex, especially Al! Swung by here on my way out of town at a friends suggestion. My change oil indicator came on yesterday during Easter, but I have another 1000 miles before Im supposed to need it. He checked the oil, said it was good. Safe to make my trip back to Wisconsin and do my regular maintenance there. Didnt charge me. Said they had even been open yesterday if I had wanted to come in. Really nice

Never had to leave my car and they were very fast only about 10 minutes. Went for an oil change and they ended up checking all my fluids and even refilled my windshield wiper fluid.

I have been going to Choice Quick Lube in Ann Arbor for about 1 year now, and have had a positive experience with each visit! The workers go out of their way to ensure we are satisfied and answer all the questions we ask. They are fair and honest with the pricing, and the wait time is minimal and very reasonable. They give us straightforward answers regarding both pricing and the benefits/drawbacks of getting or not getting certain work done on the car. I will recommend them to everyone I know, as I have never been disappointed or had a bad experience!

Called yesterday to ensure they’d be able to perform a Freon replacement today. I gave them all the details of my make and model. I was assured if I came in between 10-3 they’d be able to have it done within 30-45 min. I double checked to make sure that would work since I knew it was Labor Day weekend and students were arriving. Was told it’d be fine.Arrived today to be told “it couldn’t be done on a Sunday”. I mentioned my call and the tech poked around a bit in my engine before telling me he didn’t know how to do the repair and I’d have to come back Tuesday to get somebody who did. What’s the point in calling ahead if my expectations are going to be set so poorly? Very frustrating experience.Edit: Spoke with the owner and he apologized about the experience. I was able to stop by later in the day and get everything taken care of. Thank you guys, I appreciate it.

Struggled searching for a good mechanic we can trust. And we was referred to Vince here at Quick Lube we had two vehicles that needed a lot of work and Vince took care of us. Seriously love getting my oil changed here! The staff are always so welcoming and funny, and service is always impeccably fast. Ive had some horror stories when it comes to car service, and I always know Im getting the best, and trusted service when I come here.

I cannot recommend Choice Quick Lube highly enough. In over 4 years, I have never had anything short of exceptional service. Vince and every single member of his staff have always been respectful, kind and helpful. They kept my old car going well beyond its life expectancy, performing repairs far beyond oil changes. However, they never misrepresented their abilities. Things were explained in a manner that was easy to understand, yet not condescending. They addressed my concerns, although they never pressured me to buy anything. I rely on my car for my livelihood. Its good to know I can depend on Choice Quick Lube for excellent service.

This was in August. Then they sent me a follow up asking for a review. Naturally, I did it giving them 2 stars: 5 - 3 stars for no discount, overpricing, and longer than declared service. Guess what? They sent me a coupon for %10 off, valid... until September 19, 2019. No kidding guys! So, they expected me to run 5-7k miles in about a month?!?! What a joke?!?! This is why my new review now is 1 star. Very bad overall service and experience!

I visited Choice Quick Lube for an oil change. The service was completed quickly and I was able to sit in my car while they performed it. They also checked my other fluids as well as filled me tires. They advised me that my tire had a nail in it and recommended me to another place that could fix it for free since they were out of plugs.

These guys have taken great care of us for years, they are incredibly friendly and warm, and go the extra mile. In the end, it may cost a few dollars than at the dealership, but the convenience and service makes it completely worth it.

Such a fabulous place to go! Rich and his team are knowledgeable and honest. Aside from mastering their skill, they are truly a great bunch of guys. If you need a place to get your oil changed in the flash for a good price or get your car fixed, they are your guys.

I was on the highway and my light for engine oil low change oil came on. Its New Years Eve and its close to closing time. I called the shop and the gentlemen went above and beyond for me. I have a 2014 Chevy Spark and it was becoming a major pain in the butt because no one had the oil filter for the car. After calling around to a dozen places I finally called Choice Quick Lube to ask if they had the filter, they said they did not but would be more than willing to run down to the dealer and grab it for my oil change, an hour later I was pulling into the shop, 10 minutes after that my oil was changed, tires were filled and I was on my way. Now that is what I call superb custom service! They will MOST CERTAINLY be getting my repeat business.

This place is the best in Ann Arbor. The guys working there are top notch and you can tell they take extra pride in going above and beyond. I was in there today and Rich took care of a dislodged bumper for me. What would of taken me hours, he did in 5 minutes. I cannot even explain how much I appreciated that. Update (9/2017) - Responding to reply from Vince (owner). I think you are quite mistaken. First, Ive never driven an Explorer. The Vehicle I drove in was a Pontiac Aztec. Further, I was not a repeat customer - that was my first and only visit to your shop despite that I pass the store frequently. I cant speak to the ethics in place now or the experience of other customers, and your ratings dont seem particularly bad overall. All I did was share here the facts of my one and only visit, on which occasion I was presented with precise information about a hose leak that could not be replicated by myself or my regular Chevy dealer in a matter of days following the service. There are at least two possibilities: 1) I was deliberately given false information, or 2) at the very least I was given completely incorrect information that should have been easy for a mechanic to verify. If I ever break down and roll into your shop, amending this post will be my first order of business.(Previous post) I live in the area and went here for an oil change, once. While one guy changed the oil in the pit, another brought me fluid samples to plus sell additional services I hadnt asked for. I try to replace some fluids myself, and so declined. At one point, the mechanic returned and asked me to look at the radiator. There he indicated the lower radiator hose was leaking; it was indeed saturated and dripping coolant. Choice Q Lube could repair the leaking hose and flush the radiator at a cost of over $400. I was suspicious and declined. Once home, I wiped the hose off and could not detect a leak. I drove it through the week; no leak. I later asked my regular mechanic to inspect the hose during a break servicing; no leak.

The owner, Vincent, is professional and responsive. We exchanged some messages about their pricing for synthetic oil and he even price matched other competitive offers for 5w30. Ive been here 3 times already and am glad I found a reliable shop for no nonsense oil change. Techs are friendly and professional.

We were in Ann Arbor for an appointment at the U of M Hospital. For us its nearly a 7 hour drive. We stopped in because they sold the specific oil we wanted and our maintenance light had just popped on. At first when we called, they said they thought they didnt have it. We were about an hour from Ann Arbor at the time. Within ten minutes we received a phone call from Choice letting us know they did sell the oil and quoted us a price. When we arrived, Richie asked us if we wanted a filter checked we didnt even know existed. Of course we said yes. When he showed us the filter, it was entirely filthy. Richie replaced it for us and even cleaned out the ventilation system with a special spray. That odor wed noticed, but couldnt place, was gone! He explained that our Toyota dealer had been shirking their safety inspections and charging us for replacing items and not doing it. The transmission fluid needed to be flushed, and a few other minor things that had been ignored by our usual Toyota garage. Thanks to Richie, our car runs better and the gas mileage improved. Our allergies have been acting up as well, but our return trip with the new ventilation filter was sneeze-free. Thank you Richie and Choice Quick Lube! Our next trip down will see us at your shop again.

I visited for an oil change. Not a single employee was wearing a mask. I felt unsafe especially when employees were sticking their heads in my window to speak to me. Ill visit again after pandemic fears subside.

Went here for a simple oil change based on reviews, left with a great respect for this place! Over and above my expectations. Quick, easy, and cheap. They did so much more for free. They checked liquids, inflated tires, washed windows, checked many other systems like brakes and calipers, lights, etc all for free! They never tried to sell me on anything, but they did offer suggestions for possible problems and things I should be aware of. Very professional and courteous. Go here!

Their website lists them as a place Where customer satisfaction meets Quality workmanship. I found that this is not the case. Took my high-mileage car there for the first time to to get an oil change after deciding to switch over from regular oil to a full synthetic. Discussed it with the technician there and received great customer service from 2 of the staff. When I got home from work that day, I realized that they had put 5W30 into my car instead of 10W30. Called the next day and was told No problem, come on in. When I got there, I was told that it was my fault for not telling them to put in 10W30, despite the fact that the sticker from my previous oil change listed the oil type as 10W30 (same as is listed in the owners manual). I wrongly assumed that an oil change place would have the tools to look up what type of oil goes in which type of car and they knew what they were doing. Instead of simply solving the mix-up and keeping a customer who had an initially great experience, they lost a customer.

Love these guys, been going for years!! They are true to thier name when it comes to speedy results. They are not only fast but efficient too, checked lights, wipers, filters, etc. and my tire pressure, and filled my low one up free along with a full inspection, including my power steering fluid. They even walked me through how to reset of the oil life index display in my car. I dont even have to leave my vehicle bc they have a downstairs work area. They have even scanned in a coupon for me in the past that I didnt know existed! A lot of oil change places will push more expensive services on you and make you feel like youre dealing with a salesman, but these guys are here to get you what you want, inform you on what you might need, and let you make the decision without interjecting. Very reasonable price, best price for what you will get inside Ann Arbor by far!

Fast and trustworthy service. I dont know anything about cars. I took our family van for an oil change and had a coupon for several other services. Instead of doing things that were unnecessary, they only did the things my van needed--and still gave me the coupon rates! At the end, they noticed that my radiator stop rusted out. Instead of covering it up or letting it go for the next service visit, they replaced it in the spot--at not cost!
