I used AJ’s automotive for my 2007 Lexus RX400H for 2 years and they were always extremely professional, upfront, and accommodating. Any time there was any kind of bump in the road with fixing my car they always made sure to keep me in the loop. One time there was an issue with getting a part from Lexus that put a delay in getting my car back to me and the owner even let me use his car for the day so I could get to my doctor’s appointment. Truly the best and the prices are fair!

AJs is an outstanding shop that I cant recommend highly enough. They are extremely professional and fair and really know their stuff. Ive gone to them several times over the past two years for diagnostic and repair and not once did they try to upsell me or push me into any unnecessary services. This is one of those auto shops that you are lucky to find and keep going back to for great work, great customer service, at a fair price. I have recommended them to all of my local friends and honestly this online review is way overdue.

Such quality work, they made my old suv like new. Great advice, listened to me, trust worthy, and no upsales or unnecessary work (my truck was a perfect candidate for a greedy shop to take advantage of, they are not one of those kinds of shops). The cost of labor is sooooo reasonable, I have found my new permanent mechanic, although I wont need them for a while they really fixed everything. Thank you guys for making my ride reliable and comfortable to drive again.

Best service Ive ever had at an auto repair shop! Excellent service and very kind guys! They fixed my fuel pump and did not charge anything extra for the extra time it took to get to the fuel pump and remove it. I was very pleased with the service. Highly recommended!!!!

I brought my car there for an oil change that I won. Ive always worked on my own stuff for the most part or used the dealership I worked at for quite some time.I bought another vehicle and knew it needed some work and brought it here even though I normally wouldnt and honestly the team at AJs has been very fair, honest and quick. Nobody likes spending lots of money on repairs but at least this place is honest about what you need.While I was there, the guy running the phones spoke to numerous folks and went over all of their options, told them consequences of not completing recommended repairs and did what he could to save them money.Ann Arbor is flooded with crooked repair centers, but AJs is definitely worth the trip up Liberty.Thank you for your help.

Great place and experience! I was going to buy a used car from a dealership and I brought the car to AJs before buying and thank the Lord I did! They saved me from buying a terrible car and gave me the honest truth about it. I pass AJs Service regularly, but hadnt had a problem come up that needed my car serviced. Well today, a terrible rubbing/grinding noise started come from my front tire. I gave them a call and they had a slot for me to come in immediately to check it out. After I got there, they put it up on the lift and checked the suspension, tires, and brakes. They told me it was a wheel bearing going bad - ugh. The good part was they could fix it today! So they arranged a ride for me back home, and started work before I had left. Within a hour of when they said it would be done they called and said it was all fixed, and I could come by any time to pick it up. My wife took me over there and the car was ready, at the price they had quoted when I dropped it off. Its not often you can get in for service so quickly, but they did, and it really helped. I really recommend them for getting your car fixed - they did a great job for me!

Fair prices, and theyll let you know if your car is worth the price to fix it. I dont know much about cars-but they dont take advantage of that. They explain whats wrong and try and help you the best they can.

I had a difficult situation with an old car and that needed a new transmission. AJs put in a rebuilt components, which unfortunately, did not work right. Doubly unfortunate, a 2nd rebuilt drive train was not to be found anywhere. Fortunately, AJs stood by their work and made a fair offer to take this car off my hands. I dont think many garages would do this and I hope they can soon find the missing parts and resell my old car. I have only good things to say about these guys...

Great Guys, fast service no complaints. Dropped my car of at 1pm for tire rotation, oil change and i had a weird oil leak, 2 hours later got a call it was just a lose oil filter, they replaced the oil filter showed me where the oil had been leaking on the engine and didnt jack me around. Honest because i know they could have told me 30 parts could have been at fault but instead they fixed and didnt charge me for any repair outside of what i expected. Good guys.

I went to AJ the first time today, just putting out feelers. I have an old BMW with AC issues and Josh, the owner spent a very decent amount of time talking with me on the phone explaining his repair plans before I made an appointment with him. He stayed on top of things, kept me apprised of the findings, and even gave me a ride home despite being busy up the wazoo. I was so impressed and grateful that I tried to tip him, but he would absolutely refuse to take it. Oh, yes, he did a wonderful job on the AC and charged me only a mere pittance. Its really hard to find fine, honest people like him in this day and age. Definitely old school, in spite of being a young man. Thanks, AJ Auto! I will switch all my car maintenance and repair to AJ from now on.

These guys have blown me away! After going through a nightmare of ineptitude and dishonesty at Ann Rbor Auto Repair and another shop, Id started to believe that an honest mechanic didnt exist. Not only have these guys corrected all of what the others didnt, theyve also done service work at thier own expense...no cost to me! Who even does that nowadays? These guys do. And to top it all off when I dropped off my vehicle the other day the owner PERSONALLY dropped me back off at work! I cant say enough good things about AJs...ill be a customer for life!

I trust AJ with my 1972 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus, they installed a new 727 trans for me and tracked down a hard to diagnosis high pitched sound that turned out to be the fan clutch, IF YOU HAVE A CLASSIC OR MUSCLE CAR THIS IS WHERE YOU WANT TO TAKE IT, they themselves have an interest in classic cars and they are HONEST, anything i couldnt fix myself or didnt have the time I would trust them to do, so thankful they are local right here in Ann Arbor, Thanks Guys
