I just bought the most gorgeous diamond earrings today from Kyle and Staci at Kay Jewelers in Ankeny! They were both extremely helpful an so nice walking me through the entire purchase. They also cleaned and inspected my solitaire diamond ring 💍 I had previously purchased there. I’m so very happy! Thank you Kyle and Staci! I’ll definitely be back again! If you value you good customer service after the sale, never buy from here. Two of my three necklaces from here have broken. The first one broke the first day I was wearing it. I feel like asking them to fix something simple should be a curiosity to the customer. My second necklace broke within a few months. Since I didn’t have the $80 warranty on it, they wouldn’t replace it or fix it without charging me. I should not be expecting their jewelry to break! When I buy a nice piece of jewelry, I expect it to be of good quality. They said they recommend purchasing the warranty because of how often their necklaces break. So clearly they know there is a problem with their merchandise. It would be much more business savvy of them to replace a chain - which I am sure the cost to them is only a few dollars, than to lose a customer. I will never buy from here ever again because they don’t care about having quality customer service after the sale.

I would have given 5 stars if it wasnt for a 15 day waiting period to get my ring back from being sized and having lose diamond already. Only have had it a couple months. The people are very nice, but if you spend that kind of money on a ring the least they could do is get it back to you in a week NOT 15 days later. Its ridiculous. I do love my ring and would love to have it back.

We went in there last night and we will never be going back to the ankeny location! I was wanting to order and look at a watch. I had the numbers from another location and gave them to the lady she looked them up and said nope we don’t have it. Never offered to order it or anything. My wife asked her about our warranty on her mother’s ring, as one of the stones is cracked. Again no help what so ever never even looked at the ring or our account just nope nothing we can do!! And sent us on our way!! One other customer was in there being helped by someone else — but obviously she didn’t want to bothered with a customer and interrupt her! Worst customer service from any location very disappointed! Cost a big sale last night as we were planning to get the watch last night! Now know why there was only one other customer in the store!

Everyone here is super friendly! The workers are incredibly knowledgeable, and always there if you need help! They worked around our budget incredibly, and even gave us a discount! I would definitely recommend this Kay Jewelers! Great atmosphere, and amazing service!

I had an older piece without my paperwork. It needed to be repaired. The staff at the Ankeny location were friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. They were able to locate the paperwork and start the repairs! Im very pleased and impressed. Thank you for making this an easy process!!

Im only giving this a one star because one lady helped me out just fine with cleaning my ring but when it came to my fiancé making a payment we were such an inconvenience to them. They didnt think the first time they said that to us was enough so they kept repeating it. I will also add no one else was in the store and they didnt even want to help in the first place. Sorry for being such an inconvenience we will take our business else where.

No public bathroom. Wanted to buy for anniversary, limit of $250 to $300 for one item. Spent my $ elsewhere.
