This is how my clear nails came out. Dirty looking. I am usually satisfied with there service but today I am upset about my nails and Ms. Cindy charge me the full after me telling her I was not satisfied.

Asked for a correction for a tortoise shell design and they were very nice about trying to make it look better. Originally the person who did them used a green chrome base which was interesting. There were some customers yelling and giving them a hard time, seemed like they were having a tough day.1st pic after corrections.. second pic inspo..

My nails look like men hands after Lou from ATL did them I mentioned to the owner she didn’t have much to say 65.00 for a mess….I have called my attorney bad service. I had to keep telling him it wasn’t correct he used to much product, I want refund or my nails done over actually a new set he have my nails really jacked up….view the pictures

What I asked for versus what I got. For $70! Very unhappy. I asked from the beginning if they were capable of doing this design. They confirmed they were able to, yet these are the results. I got them redone the next day somewhere else.

The receptionist at the desk was so awesome🎉. She realized I was new she jumped right in to tell me all about the salon.The wait wasnt long. Mr.Lee was amazing as well. It hasn’t even been a week and my nails have already fallen off. I had to use super glue to re glue some back on. I’ve been getting SNS dip for years now and I’ve never had a set last no shorter than 4 weeks. So pretty much, I paid $50 for 3 days of pretty nails.

I love this nail place over all others in Anderson,SC. Especially since they have remodeled. They are all so nice and give you exactly what you ask for every time. They can usually have a long wait time if your a walk in so maybe make an appointment if your running low on time.

Got an abrasion on my left ankle but it was an accident. Lou was very kind and apologized. Did not have to wait long. Tulip did a good job with my eye brows.

I had an appointment, but another customer had been waiting a long time so they gave my time spot up for that customer 😳 I said to the technician are you going to be able to keep my appointment time? Then another technician on the other side of the room said yes when she gets done with this customer because she has been waiting a long time... I was blown away!!! No reason to make an appointment because that doesn’t seem to matter to them. Very disappointed!! I have enjoyed going to this nail salon up until this point. Looking for other options now. Customer service is super important to me!!!!

Called in advance to see if I needed an appointment for fullset and 2 pedicure and was told no, ended up waiting an hour to be seen. Charged me $25 for my 8yrs olds little feet. Took my 13 yr old to get her nails done for the first time. Gentleman did a horrible job, nails were crooked and paint job was horrible. I dont know if they didnt care because it was a kid but Im going to have to repaint and file them for her because its so sloppy. Was really hoping to have a good experience, unfortunately wont be going back here.

Today my Mom had a appointment at 4:30 she sat their watching them take walk-ins before her several times. She told them that She have an appointment several times. No one ever acknowledged her or even was concerned about her sitting their. My mom ended up sitting their for two hrs and never got serviced. They didn’t even offer her anything for the way she way treated they didn’t even apologize. My mom or I will NEVER go back to start nails again and I will tell everyone I know about their horrible customer service and how they treat their customers 😡

I just moved to the area from out of state and wasn’t sure where to go to get my nails done. I’m on the picky side and I depend a lot on reading reviews and referrals. I called ahead the day before to make an appointment. The salon is clean, comfortable but busy. When I arrived I was asked to sign in and take a seat in the waiting area. There were 7 people waiting. I was not in a hurry so I signed in and took a seat to wait. I waited almost 30 minutes. That was a bit disappointing(which is why I gave 4 stars)as I did make an appointment. The salon I used in Wisconsin didn’t allow walk ins during these Covid times, you had to have an appointment to avoid others in a waiting area. The chairs were spaced out in the waiting area though and everyone was wearing a mask. I had Lee as my nail tech and he was a true gentleman! He spoke to me most of my appointment. Many times i have been to a nail salon where the techs don’t converse with you but to the other workers and it makes it uncomfortable. Lee welcomed me to the area and thanked me for giving their salon a try. He was gentle, no excessive drill or roughness and he didn’t rush through the fill. He made me feel like I was the only one there. Because they were very busy his attention meant a lot. I will definitely go back.

Love this place! They are very professional, kind, and care about the quality of services they provide. The salon is always clean. You can tell they are taking extra precautions during the pandemic, but they were extremely clean before also. They always make you feel at home!

I got a simple gel full set and whoever had me rushed me through it my nails have never been so bulky looking it looks like she glued legos on my fingers other than the quality of the nails and all she was very nice but her work isn’t for me though...

I was searching for a decent place I could get my nails done while I was in town. Based on searches and reviews my selection was slim. Star Nails doesn’t have the most reviews or pictures but they are pretty darn good! I went in during the morning so I didn’t have to wait. Tulip started the removal process of my old nails and then moved me to the pedicure section. Rudy did my toes and was very friendly and did a great job. Tulip finished my SNS manicure and I’m very impressed. I’ve been in the Atlanta area for about 10 years and have yet found a place with this quality. If you’re in Anderson and need a nail place I would recommend Star Nails. Oh and they give you an itemized receipt at checkout which I have never seen at a nail shop.*UPDATE*This nail shop has some of the cheapest products ever. The SNS I previously mentioned started cracking after about 3 days. I got gel over Easter weekend and the “gel” is peeling like cheap paint. It’s also rigid at the bottom of my nail. I also got my toes polished and that’s starting to chip and crack. HOW can regular polish crack????? It’s like they purchased the worst brands they could possibly find. I wasted a good $50. Won’t be going here again.

I had an 12:00 appointment I got there at 11:50, and at12:45 I still wasn’t in the chair.I went to ask what time would I be getting in the chair and I was told she will get to you when she’s finished so what’s the purpose of having an appointment very rude and unprofessional tha owners daughter

First time visit here. Ladies were nice and had an pleasant, relaxing time, but the older woman Lisa was a little bit impatient she was kind of in a rush and I got my two rings fingers with design but the lines were not neat and clean like they should be like one hand had thicker lines then the other hand . I expected a better job. She does really good eyebrows though

They do not deserve even one star! I had the most terrible experience at Star Nails. The owner/manager was VERY rude to me after I asked her how much longer until someone attends to me and she responded that I can go ahead leave. I had called her before showing up and she said there was no one at the store and when I showed up 20 minutes later she was somehow fully packed with a wait. While I understand that MAYBE everyone showed up in those 20 minutes, I wish she had been honest with me over the phone and moreover respectful to me in person. I was on a time constraint and was simply letting her know that I needed to leave at a certain time. I was VERY disappointed with this service and my nails were not even done well.

Just got done waiting on my boyfriend to bring me the money to pay. The smell was starting to make me sick. While I’m waiting on him. She pulls on my arm . Try to make me come inside. Had use my phone bc my brother was outside with my phone. Had no right doing that.

My wife went in to get a French manicure. The first thing the non English speaking manicurist did was to start cutting her nails as close as she could. She cut one nail before my wife stopped her. This was going to be a treat on her birthday. I was off doing errands and she was crying when she called me. They wanted to add a nail go cover their mistake. My wife can not wear false nails because they irritate her fingers. WE are not pleased at all with this nail butcher.

I went in and it was a pretty pleasant experience. Ive always went there to get my eyebrows done but this was the first time I came in to get my nails done. My nails are growing but do have tips on them so I was sure they would be able to do my nails. After I got my nails done I did have a little pain I guess because maybe my nails were a little to short to have gotten the length of nails that I had. I would have liked to know that before I got my nails done maybe like a little warning or maybe someone telling me I should get them a little shorter. Thats my only complaint other than that I loved it and it was a very good experience.

Whew Chile this place a trip they had snapped on a customer in front of the 4 girls I brought and embarrassed her I thought it was very unprofessional. The young lady just asked when someone was gonna get to her feet and they snapped said if you don’t have time to wait you can leave🤦🏽‍♀️ Literally all she did was ask a question if two of my girls hadn’t have started I would have went some where else... they were too mean to her...One of my young ladies had gel polish all over her hands I had to use a file to get it off.

50 for gel with black tips... my cuticles are shaved so much it burns... I will not be going back here at all

I was very excited that I had time to finally get my nails done on a busy Saturday night and when I got there at 545 they were closed and the door said they closed at 7. I was very disappointed because it was not a holiday and it was a Saturday. I love this place and the way they do nails but they made me very sad today.

Very bad customer service! Since Tulip left the new manager, Cindy can’t handle the customer volume and doesn’t know how to take care of business. I won’t be spending anymore of my hard earned money there!!

Stylist didnt bother to change linens between customers, reused nail file and buffing pad between customers which is known to be a BIG NO-NO for sanitation/infection (possibly cuticle tools as well). Even more of an issue after she attacked my cuticles AND DREW BLOOD. She dabbed with alcohol and barely muttered a sorry before getting right back to it. I didnt see an autoclave anywhere so no idea if they actually sanitize their tools. I hope to God they do. Yeah, my nails look good but is it really worth the risk of hepatitis????My advice, watch them like a hawk and speak up if they cut corners!!!!

Worst experience ever at a nail salon. I had my nails done by a gentlemen that could not get the nail tips on properly....finally got finished, 2 days later nails lifted. I drove an hour back to salon,only to have my nails repaired by same gentlemen, i was not a happy camper...after one day the sns nails were lifting again....i would not recommend this salon to anyone, worst experience ever....dont waste your money, overpriced too 55.00 for a set of sns nails, ridiculous.

The most uncomfortable experience I’ve had paying for a service EVER. I usually love Star nails but somebody new did my nails this time and it was awful. First of all she didn’t ask me whether I wanted to gel or not (i didnt) she just started doing it so she could charge me more. She talked about politics the WHOLE time which was very annoying but I wasn’t uncomfortable until she started being incredibly racist. She talked bad about black people half of my hour long visit. Very bizarre. I could go into detail about the racist things she said but I am not comfortable even typing those things. My hands are covered in glue and acrylic and some nails are short some long. I will NEVER return and I will warn all my friends about how racist this salon is.
