Don’t trust the posted hours of operations. Cross your fingers they’re open when you show up.

Great place to dump overgrowth & downed cottonwood trees, $15 per load is a little steep though.

This place is awful. About 80 percent of the time i need to come here its closed even though i check the availability on google and it says its open. There is zero accountability, you cant call anyone, and its a guessing game if they are open.

Friendly service and very easy to use. Don’t know why anybody would have problems with this service unless they were trying to dump something that they weren’t suppose to

The Anchorage woodlot was not open on Thursday May 30 as advertised which was frustrating. Why is the contractor not following the schedule as advertised? The next step for me was the Anchorage dump which would not accept my logs because they were too large in diameter. I ended up at the Eagle River Landfill Woodlot where my load was accepted with no problem. My recommendation for customers dumping wood is to skip the Anchorage woodlot and Muni dump, and proceed straight to Eagle River. My rating for the Anchorage woodlot is two thumbs down.

I think the wood lot is a wonderful offering but I dont understand why it is closed part of the week. Especially the first half of the week when home owners have had the weekend for brush clearing then have to carry it around or cache it in their yards until Thursday??? With wild fires popping up around us removing fuel sources from property should be a muni priority not an after thought. Access is key to compliance.

We are fortunate to have a place to take all this brush! The operators are fantastic.

We dumped a truck bed full of branches at 4:30 PM on a Sunday. Overall easy process and kind service.

Quick + easy to off load the few truck loads of branches we had and at a reasonable price

Total RIP off if you have a small load. Cheaper to go to the dump. Also 50% more expensive minimum than the muni website claims. No wonder so many people illegally dump.
