This is the way to see Alaska! We just returned from our Get Up & Go Lodge Based Tour! We had an incredible time and I would highly recommend it for anyone who has a bit of adventure in your blood. We have a family of six with the youngest being 10 and it was the perfect balance of activities and adventure.Sophie, our guide, was awesome! She really bent over backwards to make sure everyone was having a great time and doing the things we wanted to do but also making sure that we knew the cant miss items. She took us on great hikes that we would have never found without her and her cooking skills were excellent. We highly recommend her if you get a choice.The lodging accommodations were first class and we would never have picked where we stayed if we did it on our own! Very comfortable and scenic locations with exceptional, personal service.The team at Get Up & Go communicated clearly and was very organized. They helped us select our activities based on our interests and helped guide us without being pushy. They were patient with multiple emails and questions leading up to the trip.If you are the type that enjoys sitting on a beach and reading a book during vacation this might not be the vacation for you (with that said I did have enough rest to read two books). Also - remember that most of the activities are extra costs and some dinners are not included (you eat out) so you will spend more than just the Get Up & Go fee. You wont feel pressure to do anything and the costs are transparent (your choice – no surprise fees).Thank you Sophie and Get Up & Go for giving us a vacation that we will remember for a lifetime!

Fantastic 10 Alaska Explorer tour. Our guides were knowledgeable and accomodating and always kind. Jam packed schedule for the full ten days with experiences beyond my dreams. Give this no frills bucket list loaded adventure a go.
