Excellent pilots! If you are in Alaska, they get you where you want to go!

Had been to Brooks falls on a day trip with Katmai air. Had an awesome experience. It was neatly organized. The cost was high considering the length of flights are small.

Very straight forward about the chances of getting to katmai. Unfortunately we were not able to go because of the weather. Many people who were in the waiting room seemed unprepared. It was raining for like 3 days and they were going to go to King Salmon in running shoes???

Ignore the cost of what it takes to spend a day here - just do it. Its amazing and totally worth it. I flew out of Anchorage with Katmai Air and they were very easy to coordinate with. I dont know where else you would get to see such a high concentration of bears in such a small space.

Easy to book, work with, and fly. Legit company and had a flight the next day versus everyone elses 7-9day wait.

A little weird at the airport, arriving from Anchorage. We were told that Katmai Air would be there at 10:30. We sat inside ( a total of about 15 people were there). Finally, at 12:00 someone walked in and told us we missed our flight to Brooks Lodge. We asked, How did we miss our flight? Did you walk inside? Did you SAY anything? They did not. They pull in out front and if they dont see you, too bad. The guy who set this up for us (Brandon @ Brooks Lodge) did not tell us to stand outside. To be fair, others that were in on the flight caught it. We missed it. We also think Brandon & Katmai Air could have communicated better. The pilot was great, the staff was great (other than the pick up driver).

After Ravn kicked my luggage off their flight Kelly drove to his house to get his backpack so I could go on my 10 day hike into Katmai national Park with my professor. I owe this company a lifetime. They will always have my business going to Katmai.
