Sally has been invaluable in arranging complicated travel for myself and my wife. She managed to cut travel time and deliver competitive pricing. When my travel was complicated, such as getting to remote areas in the Himalayas for a motorcycle trip, she always had solutions. Bravo!

I have worked with Bill Beck for a couple decades now and he never fails to impress me with his skill and ingenuity. In addition to being a really good guy, he is truly creative about coming up with travel solutions that both save me money and add to my comfort. When I recently needed to make last minute domestic travel arrangements I contacted them again, and within minutes they were able to arrange a multi city travel itinerary. I called for help with an October Alaska trip that I am planning for my husband and one of our sons that I couldnt find anything to do on my own as the tourist season has ended by then, and hoped a professional would know something a google search wasnt telling me. I got a response with an itinerary for a cruise and asked me for names so that she could go ahead and book it on our behalf, a cruise that I was sure I already looked into and was unavailable in October, and sure enough like most everything else when I doublechecked it wasnt. I proceeded searching away on my own until I found one boat tour in Seward and one atv tour in Anchorage, and booked activities on my own. Realizing that I had perhaps found some things that this travel agent hadnt been aware of that might help her to help the next guy, I replied to her email that what she quoted me for wasnt available in October but that I found a couple things to do that she hadnt mentioned and copied her on their websites for her benefit- just to be helpful. I got an email reply that said I had asked about September (I hadnt- and I record my phone calls so theres no arguing that) and that indeed there are no activities in October. I replied again, as she apparently had missed the part where I said I did manage to find activities and gave her links for her records, and she only replied something like those people are hard to get a hold of. I had no trouble getting a hold of them- she knew about them and didnt even try. I am just glad I didnt depend on her knowledge of the area, or her ability to listen. We would have paid for a nonrefundable cruise for a date we wouldnt be there, and believed there really was nothing to do.

Alaska Travel Source provided an absolutely fantastic trip for us. Their attention to detail and follow thru was amazing. We will definitely use them again, and I wouldnt hesitate to use them again. first class service!!!

Bill Beck at Alaska Travel Source was great on the phone, but I dont think he took notes. Hed regularly send information to the wrong e-mails and call the wrong people. This caused all sorts of problems and scheduling issues.I think he lied about a booking as well. He told me he couldnt book a dinner because it was too soon, but I called and booked the same day.I would never use Alaska Travel Source again, because Bill is an owner and you cant go over him to get your issues resolved.

The service is fast and responsive, and I feel like I saved money because this group knows what they are doing. They can book mileage tickets beautifully also ! What a gift!

I have used Alaska Travel Source several times for traveling in and out of Alaska. So far each of the agents that I have dealt with each have well over a decade of experience in the travel industry. They are reliable and friendly and have saved me some money on vacation packages. I wont be experimenting with orbitz or priceline again any time soon.
