I had an absolutely amazing time at Celebrity Nails! I have never had acrylic or gel nails before, but wanted to try them. Tim did an absolutely phenomenal job and I have been loving these nails! Hes very professional and artful in his craft. It was so much fun talking to him and Alexa while watching Tim worth through the acrylic application process. Tam and his staff are the best! Years ago I stopped going (different salons) and never had a good experience. Other places either hurt me or took forever but not Celebrity Nails. Tam does fantastic work and I always go back. I used to never get my nails done till I came here.

My first time in there and I absolutely loved it!! Service is awesome, time efficient, and a polite and friendly environment overall. Will I come back? I dont know....DUH of course I will!! I usually go to a salon on the Dimond side, but I think I will be going to Celebrity Nails from now on. Its closer to home plus excellent service.

Ive come here several times... the first time I was very happy with my nails. They shaped my coffin nails correctly and had great customer service. The second time I was happy for the first few days... until the gel paint started lifting and chipping on the sides. They also kept telling me that they couldnt do several simple designs.I didnt come back for a little while, then decided to give Celebrity Nails once last chance, because I had a great first experience. I scheduled an appointment for a fill and pedicure. Upon arrival, I asked for an hombre with simple palm trees. They said they couldnt do it. Then I asked for another simpler design with palm trees. They said they couldnt do it. I asked, What can you do? He said, Very, very simple stuff. So I asked if they could just do French Tips. The man seemed like he was going to say no, but then said yes. He didnt even offer to do a different design, or show me what he could do. He also kept hurting me as he was doing my nails and I left with sore nail beds.The lady who did my pedicure was nice, and she was very attentive. She didnt hurt me at all. She gave a great massage as well. The only critique I have for the pedicure is that I wish the water was hotter. Other than that the pedicure was all right.I was not happy leaving this salon. Usually I leave a nail salon feeling happy and de-stressed. This experience gave me the opposite effect. I will not be coming back.

Tom and his staff have always been professional, courteous, and take pride in the beauty of their work to make my hands and feet look and feel great! Today in the shop it was very quiet and then I watched a lady tell the staff answering the phone that it was her husband calling to talk to the owner. The owner was doing her pedicure. Tom is so attentive and listened and then said, “You’re wife hasn’t said a word to me.” After the call, the lady got out of her chair & intentionally called her husband back to say “Everyone here is laughing at me.” It was the strangest thing I’ve ever seen. No one was laughing and we all felt bad for Tom because he really care about his clients!

Not the way I was aspected by previous reviews but its ok. I had deep nails services, no cuticles cut it, just did the job over. My nails looks a little bit big but considering I was there 1st time it was ok. The guy was a little bit frustrated because I had in the first place also regular pedi but I canceled for my friend to do her many, he mentioned I supported to call before. Well u guys open at 9:30am, my appointment was at 9:30am and was a cleast min change. I think u did more $$$ with 2 mani instead of many/ pedy!Should work at attitude!Oh after 5 days my nails dont look good, in fact start broking the many.. deep many should take at least 3 weeks!

Sounds like this place does good manicures but my sister and I had pedicures today and they were awful. There were many things wrong but the biggest thing for me was the massage, repetitive movements over the same spot caused irritation to my skin, when I said something about it I was told I shouldn’t have shaved my legs the day before which I have never had an issue with. Also the paint job on my toes is terrible. Many spots where the gel is on my skin. Definitely not worth the 75 bucks I paid. This is the first time in over 15 years of getting mani/pedi that I did not tip. I didn’t feel a tip was at all deserved.

Last week I got a beautiful gel acrylic full set done by Tim and Alexa! Tim did a wonderful job on the shape and Alexa did a stunning job on the gel and design that I wanted! I have been going here for a few years and their service and quality is always to notch. Iwould definitely recommend them and will definitely be going back in the future

They were able to book a same day appointment for me after all my other nail salons of choice were either closed or too full that day. When I arrived they seated me immediately and began working on my nails. Both technicians were extremely courteous and made sure they knew exactly what I wanted, with great attention to detail (like making sure my nails were filed the same amount on both hands). Even though their salon was also busy that day they didnt make me feel rushed and my gel manicure was impeccable for 14 days. The only reason it began chipping on the 15th day is because my nails had grown out a bit, and even then the chipping was hardly noticeable. My gel pedicure was also solid for a good 9 nine days and probably would have lasted longer had I not been walking barefoot through the forest and wading in waterfalls. Theyre a little pricey but no more than the average nail salon in AK and they do great work.

Love love love celebrity nails! They are always so friendly and accommodating. I have been here numerous times, but most recently they did pedicures and manicures for myself and my bridal party. Nails were incredible and the service was even better. Will always come to celebrity nails!

Excellent work! The man who created my nails was awesome his name is Tim, and my sisters nails with the ghosts were done by Ken. I got exactly what I wanted and more; everyone there really cares about the work they produce. They were kind and professional, Im sure theres not a better nail salon on this side of Anchorage. Will update after a week or two just to see how long these last, but I have high hopes.

Always a great experience. Staff are friendly and courteous. They get you served as quickly as possibly and the actual nail care is well done. I havent had any issues here! The few times I have had issues with how long my nails have lasted its related to the wear and tear I have had on them. I have gone here multiple times and will return!!

Excellent experience. I had a nail missing because of an extraction. They constructed a gel replacement and it looked awesome! I had a wedding and open toe shoes would have been a disaster without that nail, lol.

Have gotten nails done 3 times this year and I always leave happy with the results. Most recent time I had Tim for a fill. He listened to exactly what I wanted and still in love with my nails!

I’ve been to several nail salons in Anchorage but this one is the best by far!! Fast, clean, friendly service. The nail techs were knowledgeable and their work is always spot on and beautiful! I had a previous manicure from another shop that they fixed. The dip powder technique used wasn’t good so water was going in between my nails. It could’ve easily turned into fungus. I highly recommend this business if you want an amazing set!

Before I made my appointment I messaged Tom to see if they were able to do my desired nail art, he did not responded but I saw all the good reviews and decided to try them out after all they are called “Celebrity Nail and Spa”. However I went in and they couldn’t do the nail art I decided because it had “too many colors”, then I had to look for a different design and decided to chose a very simple design, the easiest, they could do. Although I wanted ombré they couldn’t do that so I told them it was okay to just do a full color, which was very nice of them to let me know they did not know how to do those designs. Everything was good and I overall liked how my nails were done but I had to come back the next day because one of my nails was bubbling up as it was not cured correctly. I texted Tom as soon as I saw my nail bubbling, he told me immediately to come and they would fix it. I have a job and go to school so I was not able to come in immediately, I texted him and told him I would come by as soon as I was done with class. When I came in he was not happy at the time I came, he said out loud in front of everyone “oh you did not come at a good time”, I’m sorry I didn’t come at a good enough time for you guys, but it is so inconvenient for me to have to pay $95 for a full set and have to come back the next day just on time for them to greet me rudely and disrespectful. I specifically asked what is a good time to come back and he said now! But I cannot drop everything I am doing as it was already inconvenient for me to drive all the way back again. they did not compensate me back for anything. Overall my nails lasted less than a week, which is why I am giving two stars. The place was also dirty, for a pandemic going on they definitely should do more sanitizing. I understand sometimes mistakes happen and it sucks that my first experience was this way. The staff was overall nice but my experience was not the best. I’ve never had to go back to a nail salón. I was also flying out of state the next day which changed my plans completely.

I really wanted to like this place. After losing my nail girl due to COVID shut downs, I have been on the search for a new place for a while as I can be pretty picky. I went here every two weeks to get fills for the last 2 months, however, this last time I noticed one of my nails looked dark under the acrylic. I took the nail off to see what was going on and found that I had two fingers that had MOLD growing on my nails. I called the shop to see what they do for this and was handed off to someone that told me it was my fault and I left water under my nails or didn’t keep them clean and get them filled on time. I fill them every two weeks, which is standard. I haven’t been in water much besides normal hand washing and showering, and they weren’t lifting. I’ve been getting fake nails for over 15 years and this has never happened before….the guy that did my nails last time rushed it and clearly didn’t make sure they were done correctly. Passing blame to your customer isn’t good business. Offering to fix it and apologizing would have convinced me to give you guys another chance. But immediately trying to blame me turned me off completely.

They are always timely and courteous. I can’t complain, great results every time! Shoutout to my girl Alexa and Sir Timothy for always comin through.

I reccomend two people to ask for Maisy and Alexis. Maisy for her careful and tender pedicure technique and Alexis for a truly luxury manicure.I think the heart of this nail salon is the artist and technicians who practice here. During my visit, it seemed that walk-ins were balanced with repeat clients coming in for an appointment.And ofcourse I also like to judge a nail salon by how many and how diverse are their clients. (Quality is only quality when many different people agree after all.). and here Celebrity Nails also is nail-ing it.But, at the end of this all I do want to leave an encouragement/feedback. It would be nice if the salon had a style rejuvenation. A clean up, a restyling, replacement of some of the worn down furniture, some smart storage solutions ... that kind of aesthic attention would only help Celebrity Nails grow in business and showcase its artists in the best light.

Me and my mother have gone here multiple times and always pleased when we leave. I get full sets and she gets pedicures. Great quality always.

I’m not sure if it’s worth complaining. I get pedicures every few years it’s like a special treat for me. The polish was nice but I paid to get the scrub. When I got home I felt my feet and they were still dry and cracked. I expected them to feel soft and be free of dead skin.. I’m really disappointed and wish I hadn’t gone there.

We made an appointment for two to get a pedicure thinking we would be safe, I was surprised that every chair was full of people. Too crowded for my comfort. We did get our turn quickly and everything was clean, sanitary and professionals. And we were able to stay away from other clients. Also No hard up sales which I appreciate. So many salons push stuff I just dont want. Its fine to offer but then accept my no thank you. I was disappointed that I got nicked in two places and a couple days later realized one of the cuts was getting infected so had to treat that. I also felt they overcharged us.

Alexa and staff took great care of me and were very friendly! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to get their nails done. :)

They are nice people at the shop but. I had some peeling issues with my pedicure, I had one toes gel polish immediately fall off the next day but they quickly fixed it when I called. Unfortunately a couple of my toes are chipping now and it’s only been a week and one day sense getting them done so that was unfortunate. Idk if it’s my nail? And I also some how got glow in the dark ombré nails, but I think the glow in the dark was a accident. But my husband laughed at me lol I didn’t ask for glow in the dark but they glow purple it was quite the surprise haha

After 2 weeks of having a cold and 17 months of not getting my nails done, my husband treated me to a “mom day” and I got a full set from celebrity nails. I’ve been biting my nails till they bleed since I was a kid and once I developed an anxiety disorder it only got worse & I went in with my nails in the worse shape & was so embarrassed but they did nothing by made me feel comfortable and normal. They were SO friendly, gentle and fast. So if your looking for a recommendation on where to get your nails done definitely try out celebrity nails!!

This is the fourth time, I believe, that Ive been to Celebrity Nails, and every time I go my nails are amazing. Ken did my nails this time, and theyre absolutely adorable (I got little ghosts 👻 for Halloween).I appreciate that every time I go they make the price for everything very clear, and they never pressure you to upgrade a service. The prices are reasonable (and the service is worth it!); Ive never regretted coming here. I feel very well taken care of here: they take their time and make sure that the shape and length are uniform. I really appreciate all the effort and work they out into this; they do a great job.

The service was Amazing the owner him self did my nails. Took me In at 7:50pm and the store closes at 8pm. I was running around town trying to find an open nail salon after another nail tech cancelled on me last minute. I would definitely recommend them. Very clean, very professional.

Ladies/gents,This place is absolutely amazing! They were fast, friendly and professional. Decided to get a different nail shape and was hesitant. But they freaking nailed it. Through out the whole process he constantly double checked to make sure I was satisfied. I will absolutely be coming back.

$75 for a pedicure and was supposed to be hot rock MASSAGE, not hot rock skin rub. I get pedicures mostly for the massage and they do not, at all. She rubbed my skin for 15 minutes. Super annoying!!!! Will never go back and didn’t even stay to get my nails done.

My experience at Celebrity nails was great! Jess did my SnS (dip powder)and she did an amazing job. Theyre shapely and smooth with no ridges. A little more expensive than SnS at other places, but worth it for the quality of work. The only downside (and this is a personal con) is that nail tips arent available for SnS at this location (no stiletto, coffin etc). Not a deal breaker though because the work is so nice. I definitely recommend, and Ill be returning.

OMG they are the best!! I called in for me and my mom for mani pedis and they were booked!😔 I was going to book for another day and Someone who was booked for 2 cancelled! What luck! Thank goodness I live on JBER cause it took us 5 minutes and we were in the pedi chairs. Woohoo! While our pedis were being addressed Tim and Alexa were able to give us our manis at the same time. My mom is in her 90s and not necessarily patient but it’s obvious that Celebrity Nails respects our ‘OHANA’ and treated her like the queen she is. We were so happy that when we went home my Dad had me call for an appointment today and they fit him in for an evening appointment. He’s getting spoiled now.😁 Mom and I spent $100 on our mani/pedi each. Well worth the gel since the color stays on so long. Dad had a clear strengthened put on his nails so they don’t crack so much. Just 20 for him. So pleased. Bringing back my ohana to continue the great treat of being at Celebrity Nails.

I dont usually like to write bad reviews but I was disappointed with this service. I got my nails just over a day ago. The male that did my acrylic manicure seemed very rushed and it sounded like they overbooked. He rushed through my service and didnt do cuticle and nail maintenance that I have had everywhere else Ive gotten my nails done. My cuticles look really bad and it looks like Ive had the nails for a week or more. He was on the phone several times during my nail service making appointments. The nails arent that bad, but I dont think it was worth what I paid, especially with the quality of service... I will use a different salon next time.

I came here with my mom and she got manicure and a pedicure with a reflexology massage, and I got a full set which they did a pretty good job with. But she was pretty upset about the massage, and said it lasted about 2 seconds and felt more like rubbing than actual massaging. She paid 120 for herself, really just wanted the massage and didn’t really get one. This place isn’t bad but it doesn’t have a very welcoming energy to it.

I had a full set done by Tim. He was very pleasant and friendly. He did an amazing job on my nails and I was definitely in love with them!!! I’ll for sure be back next time I’m in town. I highly recommend going to Tim.

I had to cancel last minute because of my grandmother & I get a very unprofessional text from one of the workers saying “omg we turned down 4 walk ins for you, don’t book with us again, etc”. Extremely disrespectful since I had a inconvenience and apologized.

I went in the other day to get acrylics and the man who did my nails didn’t clean or cut my nails before applying the nails. He also got very agitated because I wanted to switch from the clear pink to a more nude color and told me that once he puts it on he can’t change it anymore. There was no cuticle care and I didn’t get a hand massage. I walked away with really dry hands. My totally was $65 and I definitely do not think it was worth the amount from how poorly I was taken care of.

I needed a place that would take me in at the last minute on a sunday evening because it was getting to be time for them to close, but They took me in 15 minutes before they were closed. Thank you for that! Tom was very attentive to what I wanted. I previously got my nails done somewhere else and I was not quite satisfied with how my nails turned out and he made sure to correct the issues I had going on with my nails. I love the outcome and my nails are a absolutely beautiful ombre, Like I like. A little bit pricy for a fill but he did have to fix the mess someone else did. The nails are beautifully shaped and I will certianly be coming back here the next time I get my nails done. Great Job!
