Jim def knew what he was doing and is work was great when fixing my dishwasher/air gap. Definitely using him again for any appliance needs.
I like these folks. They were always great on service. They always called when they said they would. They always showed up when they said they would. Their technician was fast, prompt, thorough, and friendly. Just good folks all the way around. As far as service pricing goes they were less expensive than our local sears shop and more prompt and accommodating to boot. The only thing I could fault them for would be charging a lot for the replacement part. I looked up the part after the fact and found it on Amazon for less than half the cost. All in all I am pleased and would call them back again if i needed more help.
Fantastic! Our refrigerator went out. They came the next business day within the agreed window of time, repaired it quickly and the cost was very reasonable. We were worried wed have to buy a new one but this was much better. Highly recommend!
Jim is the best appliance repairman in the entire universe.
Avoid this place. Call anywhere else, or Google how to fix your appliance, that would be more reliable than Anchor Appliance.I initially called them the last week of June to look at my Stove Top and Oven. They came by within 48 hours of my initial call (which I appreciated) made an estimate which was reasonable to replace the circuit board, which I was grateful for, than proceeded to never call me back or return my calls ever again. They said it would arrive from Seattle within 1-2 weeks, likely by the end of next week, June 5th. By the following Monday after June 5th I called them and they said there was a delay. There continued to be setbacks for the next 5 weeks and I am fairly convinced this last week theyve been lying to me about most of my questions an what they say. They told me on the phone today (August 12) they first told me it would take 4-5 weeks to arrive, which is incorrect, but had it been correct, the part should still have been put in my now, 7 weeks later. They didnt charge me anything to take a look at the oven and stove to begin with or order the circuit board, which is good as it saves me the hassle of a class action lawsuit against their business. It isnt life and death, I dont mean to exaggerate the issue, but I want to be able to cook food in my home again, something I havent been able to do for most of the summer now.I called Reliable Appliance here in Anchorage and will see if theyre better than Anchor, I certainly hope so.
