I live on a military base where Bugman services the rodent traps. After their visit this week, I noticed a significant amount of rat poison spilled in the yard around the traps. I have small children and pets and this is unacceptable. The whole point of the black boxes is to contain the poison away from pets and children...unprofessional and potentially dangerous.

I just got my annual Termite Inspection and treatment. My Inspector was the same guy who came out last year., He actually remembered details about the conversation he had with my now deceased husband, that he relayed to me, that brought me up to speed. Talking to Ignacio Lopez was like turning on the Discovery channel or insects are us. 🤣🤣🤣 I enjoyed the laughs and was glad such knowledge was at my disposal, Thanks again Bugman !!! 😘🥰

Its about the same price with all pest control. the customer service is friendly and knowledgeable. the man who came to provide the service was considerate of my time and showed up early in the time block I reserved.

Isaiah serviced our (recently purchased) home. He was professional and friendly and did a great job.He reviewed everything with me before service, and knew exactly what the inspector (Eddie ) had planned for our home. Incredible work. Thorough. Sturdy. Pride in their work was evident. Luis and his crew ( Nathan, Oscar, ) knew their stuff. The deck and railings had serious dry rot that extended into the structure of the house. Stucco was opened up and old wood removed, house treated with wood preservative, new wood and extra support installed, stucco repaired (including proper coloring), all wood either treated or stained (redwood), and deck and railings rebuilt. High quality hardware using all screws, not nails. Wow! Highly recommended. Good communication during whole process. Bilingual crew. Thank you Bugman!

Got estimate and thorough inspection by Mario. He was very informative and the most detailed compared to estimates by Terminix, Orkin and Kilter. Will hire them for future jobs. I did not need to contract since my HOA covered the termite issue with their own pest company.

Bees were supposed to be gone by Tuesday. Today is Wednesday and the bees are still there. I told them it was delaying the contractor. I called at 3:30pm and was told everyone was going home for the day, but they close at 6pm AND they were paid in advance!! Not cool at all! Id leave ZERO STARS, but unfortunately I have to give them one star in order to leave a review.

I heard about these guys from my mother-in-law who has been using them for many years. We opted to try them out and they set us up on a quarterly payment plan. We had our first treatment service a few days after the initial inspector/sales guy came out on-site. He did a great job and was very thorough.Fast-forward one month later, we get a notification that they are scheduled to come out again. Nice surprise. Didnt realize they would be coming out again so soon. Maybe it was a follow-up since were new customers or something?Treatment guy comes back out (different guy) and he asks about where we are needing treatments. I mention to the guy we just had our first service last month and he doesnt make any statements to make us think this is out of the ordinary. We tell him where he needs to go and he also does what appears to be a good job.Now to the rub I have with these guys....We get charged over $100 a few days after the 2nd treatment. We already paid almost $200 the first time for the quarterly treatment, and now they just automatically bill us.I call and after multiple attempts and back and forth calls/voicemails I finally speak to Lori who apologizes for the inconvenience and explains it was a billing error on their side. Im suspicious because Ive seen this happen with other similar vendors. They charge you and cross their fingers you wont notice it.Then they ask me if I want to keep the amount they just charged me as a credit on my account for next time. What???!! Why would I float your business 2 months of my quarterly payment? Credit isnt free people!It was at this point I shut down and expressed my concern and disappointment. They should have just refunded me immediately without any hesitation. Lori did ask me if they could credit me for a free treatment my next quarter but at that point I was not going to agree to this since the way she acted was like I was asking for something other than my money back and I dont like being accused of being unethical as a customer when the vendor CLEARLY made the error.Instead I said I would think about cancelling my service and she said they were having trouble refunding the amount to my card. Huh? You could take the money no problem, but now you cant refund me?She then says shes going to put in the cancellation request, says that she will have Management reach out to me and contact the inspector that came out to see what happened.Of course, I hear nothing. 3 days passed and I called and had to leave another message. I call again the next day and leave another message with their answering service. No return call.Then finally today Lori calls me back. I speak with her and find out that they put the credit in a couple days ago and that it will take 2 weeks to show up on my card. 2 weeks??? Seriously? Most companies are maybe 2-5 business days. 10 days?? Yikes.Unbelievably shady experience on the billing side. I wish they had just apologized, issued the refund, gave us a discount on our next service and that was it. She had to complicate it, make me feel like the bad guy, try to keep the money they took from me and float their bottom-line for the next 2 months with it. Pretty ridiculous.

I moved into a home last year and found myself dealing with a major Silverfish infestation. Two extermination companies and hundreds of dollars later, I still was living with a house full of Silverfish. I contacted The Bugman to see if they had a Silverfish specialist to help me. This was the first company that I felt confident in their advice. The process to get my house prepped to be treated for Silverfish was tedious, but at the end of the day, The Bugman got rid of my problem. I now use this company for ongoing services and I am forever grateful.

Art Gonzalez came out to spray my attic in regards to some termite activity, and do some lattice work on my backyard patio. He was professional, friendly, and explained to me what he was going to be doing. I needed him to come back out one more time and he brought a co-worker named Travis to help with one more issue and they came out quickly and were very helpful.

We have an annual service agreement with Bugman and it is well worth the fee. After a storm, we experienced a swarm of termites in the garage. We called Bugman and they were so helpful. They sent out Ignacio to help evaluate the problem and then he returned to do some termite treatment. Ignacio was fantastic - he found the colony and treated the area. He was extremely professional, kind and respectful to us. He is very knowledgeable on termites and how to treat and prevent them from spreading. These guys are the best. Weve used them for 24 years. When we first moved in, we had a huge ant problem. After our second service, weve only seen ants once in those 24 years. Our technician, John Sharp has been outstanding.We are moving and needed a termite inspection. The Bugman performed the inspection, fumigation, and repairs. I have to say I am disappointed in the service I recieved from this company. What is most troubling is that I have recommended them and continued to use them but when I moved from Termites to Rodents, they fell short.I have had an ongoing issue with something in my attic. I hear something in a certain section of my attic but never found it. So I called a professional.They inspected my attic, said they did not see anything but would seal it up and lay traps for a month.After they sealed it off another rep came and put traps in the attic. Here is the first issue. He placed the traps near the access hole. That is the only place he set them and it is almost the whole length of my home away from where you hear the rodent.He came back 3x checked the traps, always standing on a ladder in the hole. Nothing.A few weeks later,the scratches are back.When we eventually call we are told it is outside the warranty time. Now I am looking for a new exterminator.I believe in doing a job right or not at all. Well not at all is now the amount of business I will be doing with the Bugman.

Juan has been great. Hes on time, professional, gets the job and leaves. He responds quickly. He provided information about what to expect after 1st and 2nd spray (15,000 sqft yard). I am going to be using them quarterly to keep season pests away.So far Bugs Be Gone! 😁

Paul has been with us for many years and is an excellent exterminator. He is always on time, courteous and respectful, nice to the dogs and protective of their feeding area-etc. he has done extra jobs for us like rat removal from the attic and sealing the perimeter, and taking care of unexpected pests. I have never had an ant in my house since using the Bugman services and Paul. I cannot be happier with the service he provides to our family.

Andrew was wonderful in getting rid of pesky ants. They invaded the bathroom, office and even the kids beds! Andrew was personable, knowledgeable and came almost immediately when, of course, they returned since the nest was under the house, and huge. It took 2 treatments inside, and 4 treatments outside, including all around the garden. The ants are now gone. If or when they return, Im confident the Bugman will take care of them in a proficient and timely fashion. I think the quarterly service is well worth the cost.I had the attic and outside inspected for termites at the same time. Their inspector, Jason I think, was very though and knowledgeable. He was a walking encyclopedia of termites, and poked and prodded every inch of attic and exterior wood, including my woodpile. I had those little buggers in several corners of the attic, and various places around the outside. At least the infestation was caught fairly early. But Im taking no chances, and have signed up for their yearly inspection and service, again, well worth it.Daniel and Tony were the carpenters who removed, replaced, and painted eaten wood. Very nice and forthcoming, these guys went the extra mile in replacing, rather than just patching, damaged wood. They did an excellent job, showing competence and pride in their work. 5 stars for these guys. Honestly, Im so much less anxious about pests invading, and termites eating, my house, since the Bugman is on my side.

When I called to schedule an inspection with this company, I spoke to a very kind and attentive woman named Mary who helped me. Then, we had a very nice gentlemen (sadly I forget his name) come to our house in Aliso Viejo for the inspection. We were worried we might have bed bugs, but after doing a thorough inspection he reassured us that our ankle bites were probably from the new tiger mosquito going around. He gave us peace of mind and was more than happy to answer all of our questions. Thanks to The Bug Man for having a friendly and helpful staff!

Scheduled me for a Sunday then never showed up. Called them back and apparently they dont even work on Sunday! Was waiting all day. Day waisted animals stressed because we have to lock then in other room of the house. Not ok. I do like there regularly scheduled service but they sometimes dont show up for those either. There seems to be an issue of miscommunication between the people scheduling and the people on-site.Edit: They showed up next day on time and where much more helpful, but still struggling to resolve my particular bug problem. May update rating as the situation resolves itself.

Paul Figueroa has been our serviceman for years. He is prompt and always goes above and beyond to take care of our home if there are any issues. The dogs love when he comes to visit!

This company has not done a good job for me during the last 3 years. I did not have a chance to fire them until today. They had a contract to spray perimeter quarterly and charge additional $75 for each interior unit. The units are newly built. They never did any good spraying outside, so the roaches went inside. Once they are in, this company did not exterminate them well the first time. They charged me again when they come back the second time. Worst of all, their invoices do not indicate which unit they treated. This is not fair at all. They are not ethical. They are fired! New customers beware!!!!

My experience with bugman was amazing. They were super accomodating and honest and supportive through our pest control we needed. They acted fast and swift and got what we needed done. Dan was our inspector and we really appreciated his experience in helping with our pest problem. Tenting the house was exspensive but so worth every penny. Would recommend them to anyone. Way better than orkin in my opinion.

Nathan and Tony were very professional and polite. They performed quality work replacing numerous fascia boards and cleaned up after they finished.

Have used them for two services - pest control and termite removal. Eddie arrived at the appointed time to do an inspection and prepare an estimate - he was very thorough. Pest control also thorough and removed spider webs and brown widow spider eggs (yuck!). Mario did the termite removal ( I chose not to have the house tented, preferring injection instead). All in all, I was pleased with the service, courtesy and promptness of the Bugman.

After walking the property and patiently explaining the situation and what he recommended, I started a quarterly service with The Bugman. Paul applied the first treatment that same evening (it made for a late evening for him), and I have had no ant problems ever since. So thankful for Paul and The Bugman.

A bugman representative came out to my home today to give me an estimate on getting rid of a honey bee hive on the 2nd floor of my home. The employee was very prompt, courteous and professional ; however the price he quoted me was more then twice the cost I estimated. He wanted to charge me $325 to climb a ladder and spray the bees nest. I called a friend of mine to do the job and he charged me $40.

Paul Figueroa took the time to walk around our house and teach us how to better prevent pest issues. He led us through areas that are common problems and even translated those issues into maintenance requests directly to our housing manager. I would recommend Paul to anyone.

Ben Chavez the inspector was very professional and thorough in his inspection. He reviewed and explained the process very well and really worked with me on scheduling (I wanted the wood repair done sooner than what they had available on the schedule.) Their wood repair team was fabulous! They came on time, was focused on the work, professional. Nathan Harrison and Daniel Montes were awesome! At the end of each day, they reviewed what they had done and explained what they are going to complete the following day. On a couple of occasions, Nathan and Daniel single-handedly did a half days worth of work until their reinforcements Tony Rubalcava and Art Gonzalez were able to join. They tidied up and cleaned their work area at the end of each day, and they completed their work well and on schedule. They delivered what they promised without trying to upsell me on any labor or material. I am scheduled to have termite tenting in a week and will post the results of that here.

Bugman did the worst job for my ants problem. I have treated two times in 3o days. Ants problems never solved. However, they performed good job in the past.

Great value in using the Annual Service Agreement to maintain the properties from termite and bugs.Recently our two - 4plex units In Costa Mesa required termite attention. Our ownership of 42 years gave us no excuse for delaying recognition of the extent of the termite infestation.The supervisor took time and effort to ruthlessly probe all areas of both units …. to tent or treat and repair?. We chose treat and repair Great Job!To tent and fumigate would have interrupted the tenants use of their units.Eddie Hernandez ran the projects. We received the final detailed reports in full. I decided to do some of the small repairs at ground level. The annual inspections in the future will make sure the properties are maintaining their value (when we might need that value) .

Jeff is our bugman and he’s on time, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We were getting SO many ants in our bedroom to the point where they were biting us in our bed despite the outside treatment. Jeff suspected they were coming from a tree branch touching the roof. Once we trimmed the tree as he advised, the problem was solved! Also, the reps when you call in are responsive and provide great service, too. Very happy so far!

Great service! They did a professional job taking care of our termites without a hard sell for fumigation which our level of dry wood termites did not require. We also had them take care of some areas of dry rot. The wood repair crew, Daniel M. and Doug A., did a wonderful job. The quality of their work was outstanding!

Inspector Narciso just did my annual termite inspection a couple weeks ago and he was fantastic. Very thorough in the inspection and he located a few areas that required treatment. We called to get pricing for ants and spiders. Initially, I spoke with Carmen who was very sweet and efficient, but after I couldnt get service same day, I asked to speak with the manager and got transferred to someone named Nicole. At first I was hopeful to get service, but after she quoted me, she wanted to raise the price from quarterly treatments to single treatment. I did not like that or the way Nicole handled it, she knew I was already upset and didnt try to rectify the situation. Termites are a bummer but Isaiah and Oscar were friendly, knowledgable, courteous and treated the areas I was concerned about. Would definitely recommend!!

The Bugman has always taken care of our pest control needs. We have dealt with rats, ants, mosquitos etc. Our technician Raul is always on time and asks about our specific needs. If he notices anything we missed he lets us know and remedies the situation. I appreciate the detail our technician provides. I’ve been using the bug man for several years now at my home and my company. Every technician they’ve ever sent to either one of my locations have been very very knowledgeable and professional. I’m still waiting for them to make a mistake LOLPS and most importantly, they have never try to “oversell“ they just do what they’re asked to do and make great recommendations.
