Not bad for a gym. A little too well organized in my opinion. Convenient and close to in between work and school

Everythings great execept for the music thats played on the gyms sound system. Hip hop with the N word constantly used. Just a little annoying.Update: Sept 6 2021Im changing my review to 5 stars because it appears that they have corrected the music issue.This is by far the largest location, with the most equipment I have seen so far.

Last review I gave was when the sauna was closed, its open now and rarely ever too busy to use. The only thing that there is a regular wait for is a squat rack/station. Sometimes the fly/rear delt fly machines as well. Nothing that asking to work in cant fix. I have only had positive experiences with other gym goers at this location. Good vibes and plenty of space.. for activities. If youre just trying to get strong and dont need a basketball court or a swimming pool, this is a great place to get your reps in.

I really like this place! The staff is friendly and keep the place as clean as possible. Now that other gyms have reopened, there is no line and it hasnt been crowded when Ive went. The ONLY reason 1 gave 4 stars is because Id prefer them have disinfectant wipes around the club, vs the spray bottles that break easily and paper towels that absorb the spray immediately, so by the time we get to the machine to clean it, the towels are dry. I understand there may be a slight cost increase in using wipes over towels&spray, but with the wipes, we would use less of them and they are more effective for safety purposes. Overall Id recommend this gym 💪🏻😊

It works. I havent really done much yet but so far no wait time. Not bad. No sauna still because of whatever bs restrictions from the state or county but its working for now.

The place is beyond OVERCROWDED. Even when Google maps says its not busy, its a madhouse. A good improvement would be a live counter on the crunch website.

Huge selection of gym equipment lots of space weight area is set up nicely... Very impressed with this location the shopping center is not that nice but the gym Inside is amazing Sauna for women and Men separated inside isolated area near the showers. Nice staff, I have a pass that allows access to all gyms this location is the best. No sharing the Sauna with men 👍🏾😍💪🏾

It’s a great gym but it seems like it’s Black Friday everyday in the morning. To be 1-3 in line you have to be there by like 3:30am unless you want to be in Front of the people that bring 3-6 of their friends & skip line just because one of their friends was there already waiting. A lot of their equipment is not functioning because they need maintenance. I’d imagine with so much people in the gym paying for their membership crunch would have enough money to fix the machines a quick as they could. Other thing that I will never understand is how even though we are still in covid restrictions why they would ever let the gym reach capacity, that is so unsafe all they care about is the money not the safety of the people attending the gym. Extending the hours would be great as well

Decent gym, most people don’t clean the machines after using them. But as long as I do my part 🤷🏽‍♂️

This is the largest Crunch Ive been to. They have around 50 treadmills, two turf mats, dry sauna, hydro massage, tanning booths, and a extra large area with machines and free weights. A fun place to work out with no judgements.

Extremely rude! When a store says that they close 5 and I get there 4:31, I’m supposed to be able to get in till 5, there excuse was that they close the doors 30 min before. This is unexeceptable! Asked to cancel the membership, they say you can’t, you have to email my manager that’s the only way. This place is a joke don’t come here!

Enjoy the environment, people know to be efficient working out to wait less in line, super friendly, and they have a good playlist which makes your workout enjoyable.

This is a new review. The club manager reached out and ensured all was fixed. This is a reputable club and operates with integrity. Great club to workout at, too. Lets of amenities for a low price.

Its a very beautiful gym, but they make my guests pay an extra $10 per visit even though I pay more monthly for a membership that includes guest privileges.

I went to the gym Website (Crunch in Garden Grove) to fill a form to get a 1 day pass to try the gymEverything normal, i received my pass for 1 dayAnd i went around 6 pm the line was huge outside waiting to get in took me 40 plus minutesWhich is ok i understand al gyms at this time get packed...My negative review goes because the guy at the front desk told me WE ARE CHARGING $10 For 1 day passesI showed him the email where it stated free 1 day pass at Garden Grove locationAnd nowhere it says about $10He refused to accept the pass which was email to me the same day (not expired)So if you want to try the gym bring your wallet not your pass!!Its not about the $10 its about its just not professional !!!

I really love all the features and machines they have here however since they’ve reopened they have people wait outside to fit capacity. No problem. The problem is when you pay premium membership, wait in line from 30 mins to an hour and the staff left other people (groups of 1 to 3) skip the entire line bc they’re friends. They claim they have personal training appointments but once inside you see those same people working out alone 🤔

Clean, equipment in great shape. Great staff, overall a good vibe environment.

Love this gym! The staff is always friendly and you can tell they actually care about fitness. The patrons also keep the gym looking clean at all times by following gym ettique and wearing masks. So bummed they closed again. I was also going to 24 in Los Al (for convenience). Comparing both, Crunch is WAY better and worth the extra 15 min drive! Cleaner, bigger, heavy bags, nicer equipment, turf....Cant wait to go back!Update: I had to leave this gym and go back to 24 because of the hours only and lets just say, Crunch set the bar so high, there is really no way to compete. Shout out to all the Crunch staff for making my experience everyday a great one! Chris, Tony, Kevin and Jackie are the few I know. See ya soon once your regular hours are back!

Good location with a good amount of equipment. Only place with a sauna when the sauna is working.

Would be 5 stars, but only 4 bc of one biggest problem. Why is that one person can hold line for 3-4 people to come late? While everyone else have to wait at least 1 hr and will have to wait more bc those people? Especially when they have the plus membership too. It just isn’t fair.

Don’t come here at 5 pm like a chump (like me) and wait 45+ min for the squat rack. People here take way too much rest time in between their sets

Got to say this is the best gym for me. The staff is friendly and diligent with covid standards. Renee (hopefully I spelt his name correctly) is the man! He helped my cousin sign up and explained everything perfectly. Got my cousin exactly what they were looking for to sign up. But I commend the whole Crunch GG team!

So packed busy. 10 people line for squat racks and most machines were taken. Walked in and left after 20 minutes of waiting.

Cancel your membership at this place! They wanted to charge me the annual fee for canceling my membership but they didn’t charge it to my sister and she sign up the same day I did and I wanted to cancel the same day she did. Not worth your money!

If could give 0 star I would. The gym is great but the manager is out of control. She acts like an elitist only wanting Whites & Asians in the gym. She picks & chooses who they want to cater to. When addressing this concern over a review immediately cancels membership & refused to refund account. My brother has had the same issue with her & she wont refund his account either. They tell us Latinos cant bring outside equipment but when walk around gym theyre all using their own equipment & she walks past them saying nothing at all. Owner of gym also owns Tustin gym too

Crunch Fitness GG is outstanding. Large wrkout area and everything you need to get in Shape.. Great atmosphere.. 💪

As a heads up they require masks to get in but apparently dont require you to keep them on, people walking around maskless they have things to wipe stuff down but no one is doing it. Employees walk by maskless people and dont say anything

I would consider this a mecca for Crunch fitness. Huge gym, equipment is always maintained. Turf area is phenomenal. A plethora of platforms. Would definitely recommend 👍🏼

Probably one of the best Crunch gyms Ive been to.Heres what I liked:-its situated in an outdoor mall with plenty of parking-the gym was spacious. Equipment was well spaced out.- cardio equipment was plentiful- it was not crowded early in the morning-the gym was clean- all the equipment was properly functioning-the female locker room was clean and had a changing stall- the ceiling were high- the gym members cleaned up after themselves- the music level was good- the functional training area was enormousHeres what I didnt like:Its not close to home....... but Ill definitely be back the next time Im in the area.

Been working out here for 6 months. Although, it is not complex gym with many sport areas, it is wonderful place for bodybuilding and weightlifting. A lot of weights and machines. Staffs are very helpful and cheerful. Never try any class because my schedule, but there are a lot of classes for you to pick include personal trainer. Overall, this gym is deserved my five stars.

Im from San Diego and use crunch there but I came up to Anaheim to visit and the customer service from the lady without the purple here was amazing.and for the gym it was awesome differently going upgrade so wen Im Anaheim I can go back..once again thank you to the customer service I got from the girl with out the purple hair. this was on Sunday 11/1/2020..sorry I forgot ur name but thank you

This gym is quite good. Large, clean, good amenities.. and enough squat machine. Especially I love this gym has 10 squat machine. The reason I give 3 stars is their opening time is so tight and shorter than other Crunch branch or other gym.

I love the fact that this gym is huge and has a lot of weightlifting stations!! One of the best gyms Ive been to in the area.

Great amazing gym, lots of free weights and machines, youre set to workout however you do. Do know this gym doesnt supply their own barbell clips. So bring your own to workout safely.

This place just opened. Its huge. I have a membership to the one in Cerritos but this gym is closer to work. They have EVERYTHING you could ever need to workout. Spin classes, group classes, dry sauna and every piece of equipment you could ever want. Inexpensive, I think, especially for what you get. They have 3 different pricing tiers and a fairly large parking area but at peak hours you may have a hard time finding one. The staff is nice and friendly. They also have trainers for groups or individuals. Worth checking out. Theyll give you a tour and answer any and all questions you may have.

Very spacious. I go in the morning so there are not many folks presents. Love the sauna and the body scanner available there. Bathroom is clean. Love the HIIT classes too!

One of the best gym I ever been to, they offer many different classes, my favorite is zumba with Luis, he is the best zumba instructor, always motivating. The only thing i dont like is that hes not there every day😏

This place is new, clean and my favorite part huge. There is always room to do something, thats always a good thing when you have your workout planned. It is never too overcrowded hopefully it stays that way. Thanks for opening this gym for us its awesome.

Good location. Friendly staff. Clean venue. My only complaint is that there is only one place with mats to do situps, stretches, crunches near the front of the entrance where there is a lot of traffic. Would like there to be an area near the side so I can feel like Im not standing out by being in that area. Overall good place though!

Half of the gym requires a premium membership - that means access to basic equipment like squat/deadlift racks, AstroTurf for aerobics, punching bags, etc., are restricted to the entry level membership - I wasnt made aware of this upon my signing up. The staff has been a mixed bag - one girl was very pleasant but the guy I just dealt with was an a**. Bathrooms are relatively clean. The benches are unfortunately bolted to the ground and very close together, I cant scratch my a** without getting in someone elses space. Would not recommend - go to planet fitness instead.

Before I get started, this is the CROWN JEWEL OF CRUNCH GYMS - California. I dont know another Crunch within shouting distance nor an owner group that is as competitive in Orange County in the gym chain globo gym scene. Its huge. YUUUUGEClean, most people practice good gym ettiquette. Reracking etc. The staff is solid! Especially trainer Peter! His bootcamps and personal training is excellent. Yeraldine deserves a promotion before she gets stolen by another gyms corporate. If you are from equinox, fitness 19, EOS or another recruiter looking for diamond level talent Ill be their reference. Ive watched them work for more than a year and I used to work for LA Fitness.Equipment selection is a B- and in some instances C+ for certain pieces. The purchaser, buyer choosing the equipment isnt interested in picking B+/A grade gym equipment I.g. there are 20 different calf raise machines on the market many same brand as what this crunch buys from but the buyer selected the worst one. So if you are coming from a fitness, CrossFit, bodybuilding, physique or bikini competitor background and are used to better equipment, machine and station choices you may not be as big of a fan.Its designed mainly to cater to general population but many do make do with what it has to offer while holding onto a 2nd or 3rd gym membership.The competitive powerlifter community has mainly left due to the barbell choices but if you are a novice or journeyman you can possibly still get some work in.If you are into bodybuilding - fitness/bikini/physique your choices are limited in this area although EOS and others are also moving into the area for the fitness gym goers IG scene - crunch does an excellent job positioning itself for the general population market.Clean although showers could do with a little more attention. Some showers have weaker pressure. And there are some gross patrons that leave mementos.Morning and early afternoon crowds dont pack the gym.Parking usually is good unless its Friday-Sunday then you are competing with the banquet hall for parking after 6pm.Wifi [x]Without the annoying login of 24 or other crunch gyms app requirementHydromassage! Except one station has a unwashed body heavy body odor stain.Tanning beds (standing)The ownership group favors CNN so you wont see Foxnews, OANN, or Newsmax on TV.My suggestion ignore it and dont watch TV.

This is by far the one of the better Crunchs they have around this area. Considering this isnt my home location its worth the travel.

Great gym plenty of space plenty of machines better than planet fitness good prices except my only problem was the fact that I saw a homeless person there which is really unsanitary considering they are coming in contact with the machinery and spreading their germs which could lead to diseases and such since they are homeless and live on the streets without a proper form of mantaining themselves clean

Very clean. Not too busy even at 7PM on a Wednesday. Staff is friendly. They now have 150lb dumbbells 👍💪.This isnt the gyms fault... but the only negative is that the people arent as friendly as the Fountain Valley crowd. Saw a lot more people being supportive and helpful in helping others lift safely and properly in FV, while in GG I even saw friends not helping each other and ignoring potentially dangerous form. Makes no sense to let your buddy hurt themselves.

Gym was not as clean as i would of liked it to be there was the same trash in the cup holders that i saw 2 weeks ago, they have a good variety of machines so that was the best part.

Awesome place for work out

Its ok. Mostly clean restrooms, plenty of water. Parking is not good. The culture here is not to judge, but most times, all you see are kids and young adults on their cellphones while on a machine or bench. Judgement cant be made if your not doing anything. Reception is good, with awesome solutions and attention. Equipment is reliable and consistent. In a shopping center next to Popeyes chicken. No pool here. Showers are useful. Lockers are big with benchs to accommodate. You have free weights, most cardio machines and a space for cross fit.
