I was in and out in about 5 mins and I got my free upgrade like I should have. Great service and I was able to pick from 3 different full size cars. Car had only 4,400 miles on it and was pretty clean. The windshield could have been cleaned better as it had a lot of bugs on it still.

My group and I had a reservation set that was placed 2 months ago for a premium SUV, and 26 hours prior to our pick up time, the manager of the store, Jaenae/Jenae (sorry, I dont remember how she spelled her name), called us and left a voicemail saying (at 7:09 AM) that our premium SUV was being recalled due to an airbag issue (I called Enterprise and other rental car locations and they told me they have not heard of a recall but unsure due to differing branches, all 3 people working at this location that day kept repeating there was a recall and I could look it up if I wanted to check if they were lying). We were told that they were working on getting us a car, but we were not guaranteed a car. Because we were unable to contact that branch directly for 4 hours, I called the call center, and 3 different people there tried to contact the manager 3 times but was ultimately also unable to contact that branch and connect me to anyone there. I was told that my call would be prioritized at the branch, but after waiting for 4 hours, I never received a call. My coworker and I had to go out to the branch, and I saw the manager walk away from where she was sitting and walk to the side when my coworker and I mentioned her name (unsure if it was a coincidence but not a good look) where she likely thought that I was unable to see her (but I still could). She was on her phone doing whatever and did not look up or try to resolve the situation until someone else there called her to resolve the situation. She did not come to where we were, but instead walked a few steps over to where she could be seen more at the counter. She then admitted that she was the one who called and stated that she has been trying to find other cars for all reservations the entire week (seems like she knew longer than 26 hours when she called us) but has not been able to find replacement cars due to a car shortage. I was told that they would be able to give me 2 midsize cars or possibly a van if the van came back (she said first come first serve, but no guarantee if you come first). I asked for a quote for 2 midsize cars to which she said she wouldnt be able to do unless she saw our reservation; she was not even able to give me an estimate of costs. I asked her how I would be able to get the quote from her the next day as I do not live close to the area, and she told me to call her. I told her that I called her multiple times over the last hours but no response was given. She then gave me a different number with an extension, but upon calling, I was unable to reach her and there actually was NOT on option to enter in an extension. There seemed to be such a lack of empathy. I wasnt even able to contact them through their phone number. Judging from other reviews too, avoid this location at all costs if you can.

I enjoy renting from National. They are typically my go to company to rent from even though their rates are more expensive, they make up for it in customer service and car selection. That being said, you may ask, why are they at 4 stars instead of 5? Well, I am used to the pick your own car lots, but the one I went to recently did not have that AND even though i had reserved a premium car they were going to give me a ford focus. If I didnt use them consistently I would not have stood up for myself, but since I do, I politely asked for a different car, which they were very accommodated after some waiting and calls. It would have been a 5 had they done that automatically or told me up front that they didnt have any cars ready at this moment. It would have sucked to pay more for a lesser car, but i am happy that we were able to come to an agreement.

One of the best rental places in Anaheim. Kindest employees and nicest manager!! I had rented a car here for the first time and drove off without the key fob by mistake. By the time I was 45 minutes away from the car rental location I realized I didn’t have a key fob when I had turned off the car. Bill was so nice he sent somebody for a 45 minute drive to drop off the key fob to me and checked in with me every 15 minutes to make sure I was safe. The manager, Evram, even gave me credit for the car rental because of the difficulty which he did not have to do but I thoroughly appreciated it!!! :) All they cared about was good customer service and that their customers were happy with the car rental... which I very much was! It is also very close to hotels and Disneyland/Knotts berry farms!

I reserved a vehicle premium suv in advance and confirmed my reservation 2x this location has no direct contact number provided but customer service assured me that they have the vehicle. This location is 20miles away from my place but decided to choose them because of the size of vehicle I needed. Upon arrival the manager said they dont have the vehicle and offered no solution to the problem and just simply returned my license and moved back to the office. While I was there I also noticed that the crew that was cleaning, moving vehicles in their lot was not wearing masks some has mask but not in the face. No gloves or anything. I dont recommend this company. Dont waste your time renting with them.

Update: I’ve talked to over 20 support reps with no progress, manager still has me blocked, and the “upper management” support who was supposed to reach out never has. They stated they had video footage of me picking up car and that justifies the additional charges never agreed to. I am extremely disappointed in this company and their services for businesses.Do not rent here, fraudulent charges, rate change, and extras added onto vehicle after another location in Anaheim under enterprise had to move my rental here because they had rented out my vehicle after confirming they had it. I was notified last minute I’d be taken care of by Evram who ended up changing my rate and upgrading all add-ons even after I mentioned no place had ever included additions for free. He said “always rent here and we take care of you.” Seems far from the fact since the manager was caught on phone admitting to adding charges and then promptly hanging up and blocking my number. At this point I have no option but to dispute fraud with my bank and I’ve put over 4+ hours into trying to solve this with the company. We will be moving our business account to another company. I liked driving the car though, good job Infiniti.

Excellent service. Not everything can be on track all the time so it is important managers can adapt and provide excellent service. The managers at this location provided exceptional service and followed up with on their promises promptly. I would highly recommend and especially for elite members. You will get better treatment than most National Rental car location.

Never rented a car before. It was probably one of the best experiences I had. When I called on the phone I was connected with operator and she reserved me a car for free no obligations. Ensured I could take it or leave it with no hidden charges and gave me a great quote. She was also very easy to understand and very professional. (I tried 2 other places and hung up after a couple of minutes. ) Family walked down to rental and met Nick at Anaheim location. Again, very easy and professional. Very nice and made us feel very comfortable with the process. He got us a great car with exactly what I wanted. Over all bill came in cheaper that what Uber would have cost us. We dropped car of at Long Beach airport. Little bit confusing but a worker met us outside and directed us where to drop car off. The whole experience and employees deserve the highest remarks from us.

The staff is amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. I rented from this location two days in a row. The first day I was helped by a young woman (that makes me sound so old), I didnt get her name, but she was super sweet and had me in and out in less than 10 minutes. The second day I was helped by a guy named Nik. He was so friendly and remembered me from the day before as soon as I walked in, before I even had a chance to say a word, he greeted me like hed known me for 20 years. Not gonna lie, I felt special. He offered me an upgraded vehicle that was SO nice. It was just an all around awesome experience with this location. My job has me renting cars all over the country multiple times a week, and Im definently going to make sure that any time I need to rent a vehicle in Anaheim, my company books at this location. 10/10

This is one of rare cases where a 5 star review genuinely reflects a 5 star quality of service.I rented a car twice in the last month and from National several times in the last few years and the service was always outstanding reflecting that it is not only a person or a location but rather a company culture that results in great quality of service.Fast service, great selection of cars, great price, no hassle pick-up or drop-off. Helpful, efficient and very friendly employees.I posted almost the same review for the airport location as I rented in both locations and the experience was similar.Specific for this location, I would like to add 2 additional comments one good and one bad :)The bad: they tried to put in the contract some weird and expensive additional insurance and when I confronted them they say it is mandatory, but in the end they backed down and removed it.The good: they paid 15 USD for the taxi to go to the hotel and pick up my passport. When I rented at the airport they did not ask for it and at this location they said they needed it. Not sure who was right or wrong for the mix up in this situation, but they solved it elegantly by paying for the taxi. It was a nice gesture, not only for the 15 dollars, but also made us feel better.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company is the absolute worst company to rent a car from. We chose this location to drop off our car because they offer after hours drop off. We had called earlier that day to confirm that the drop off process was as stated on their website. Customer service rep on the phone said yes everything is correct. Their website instructed us to drop the car off here, and drop the keys off at the AMC theatre. We found out the AMC theatre was not nearby so we took a taxi to get there. We run around this theatre looking for the drop box with it to be no where in site. Our taxi driver told us there used to be an AMC theatre at downtown Disney if we want to check that out, and so we went there. No AMC theatre. The next morning we missed our magic morning hour at Disneyland to go and return the keys to them. They apologized for the inconvenience, but as we try and contact customer service reps to reimburse us for our $45 taxi ride, the best they can do for their idiotic mistake is offer a partial.National needs to own up to their issue. We followed the instructions on their website, wasted our time, wasted our money and they cannot even offer a full reimbursement for our taxi driver. Absolutely unbelievable and stupid.Needless to say I will never rent from National again. Absolutely idiotic.

Excellent, quick service - friendly staff and I felt cared for - even though I booked the reservation via agent (expedia) just one hour earlier, walking away with the car was a breeze. On top of it, it was start of weekend at XMas time, one of the busiest times around Disney.Returning the car was very simple too.I would go there again in a jiffy.

Worse experience ever. they dont treat their customers with respect. i inquired about an upgrade and the guy said they do not have time for that. He continue to insult me by telling me next time i will give you a lollipop. How do you ask a grown person do you want a lollipop? if i shut up. To make the situation worse he talked down to me in front of my friends. i dont understand how do you treat your customers that way. Someone before me got a free upgrade without any problems or talk back. I dont know if you treat all your customers like that or just because Im hispanic but this is un acceptable.
