I paid for the car in advance. The place was closed when I got there at the pick-up time. I called ahead of time to confirm that the location was open, and the rep told me it was. I get there, and theres no one there. I call the Hertz main line and ask what Im supposed to do, and the rep HUNG UP ON ME. After they filed for bankruptcy, Hertz just doesnt give a s*** about customers as long as they take your money upfront.
Did not have the car I reserved when I arrived. Drove me to another hertz to get a more expensive van. It was a Very nice van.

Well not happy with a customer service..Instead of helping you, they make a lot of excuses..They try to make me a reservation in 2 weeks, when and really need a car at the next day...It seems like they choose the costumers,Because later on my wife call with a different phone number and they told her that they could make her a reservation at the nex day...

I booked a Full Size 4 Dr. Group F FCAR - (F) Chrysler 200 or similar through Hertz, Anaheim and was left incredibly frustrated and bewildered.I booked a Full Size car through Hertz Anaheim because we had numerous large suitcases and were driving up to Sacremento, and when I went to pick up the Full Size car, the lady who was serving me had terrible attitude and said I have got a Mazda 3 car. I know a Mazda 3 is not a full size car and I argued this point to her but she insisted that it is a Full Size car. So I reluctantly took the car because my family (wife and 2 young kids) were waiting on the side of the road with all our luggage near our accommodation. The lady didnt care about me, the customer.The Mazda 3 was not enough room and we had to squeeze our suitcases in the back seat with my kids and we were crammed up all over the place.This to me was terrible service and organisation and I would never recommend this place to anyone to hire a car from.

So, as a partner with Uber, there are NO GREEN COLLECTION vehicles available. Hertz/Uber want you to pay a lot of money on gas.
Terrible customer service. We made a reservation 3 weeks out and reserved a midsize SUV. We also requested the pickup service. When we called to arrange the time that morning the gentleman at the counter said he couldnt do it since he was the only one there. We took Lyft over only to discover a second person working there. We also found out that they didnt have the type of car we reserved - no apologies, just excuses. No one goes over the car with you - we were told what stall it was parked in but it wasnt there. Had to hunt the parking garage to find it. And the car they gave us was a nice car but much bigger than we wanted to drive - its been an uncomfortable experience.
Had a terrible experience renting a car here.I booked the car through expedia to go see Legoland with family - arrived there with my wife and two kids.at 9am, my rental time. The lady at the counter didnt have information about my reservation and asked to wait for 5 mins. A couple of excuses later, it was 2 hours before we finally had the keys!!She had problems with internet connectivity, she said - but, there was no regard for my time and my familys. Her attitude was I told my manager and asked for his help and Im just going to wait. I had to urge her to call and have it resolved. More over, she was non-apologetic - which means that, she hasnt learnt anything and will continue her attitude.Just before she resolved it, she offered an alternative solution to walk over 2 blocks to another Hertz office to get my rental car. She should have offered this TWO HOURS earlier!My advice: Avoid this place.A day later, I booked through National and had quite the opposite experience - go there, it is on W Katella (5 mins of walk away) and renting there was a breeze even though I reserved the car just 1 hr earlier.
