Nice complex with friendly management, but the cost is unreasonable after the rent goes up once or twice (thats when the move-in discounts expire). There also seemed to be a lot of criminal activity. One of my neighbors got their door kicked in and their unit was raided (one of the roommates was shady or something)
There was no difficulty in the self-guided tour.I like soaking tub !
I am a current resident and have loved every moment here so far! The amenities are amazing! All the staff is so friendly and attentive to our needs! I love that this place has space to park! There are dogs!!! And very friendly to pets. I love that it is close to work and other people places I visit regularly! I could not be more happy!
It was very easy to go through the process. It was so simple all being online. The staff was very pleasant to work with. I love my new apartment and am very happy I chose here to be my home!!
Very nice
We lived here for a year and a half and loved it for the most part. The units are really spacious and extremely quiet. That was our favorite part. We literally didn’t hear our neighbors one time. The complex is clean and well maintained.Only thing that bugged us is EVERYONE smokes even though it’s a non smoking complex and i wish management would’ve been a little more proactive about stopping people. We sleep with our windows and balcony doors open and we could always smell the smoke. I’d take pictures of who was doing it from the balcony and send to the leasing office and nothing was ever done really. But overall, really good experience and would recommend.
Easy approach the highway. Cozy and luxurious place with great neighbors.
Now that I have moved out, I feel like I can give my honest review as I know management would have probably used it against me in some way or another. I had lived in this apartment building for over three years. At first, it was great. Apartments are spacious, amenities are nice and well maintained, and it wasnt too loud for the most part. But then, management changed and thats when it went downhill or when I started noticing the flaws with this place. For starters, when you submit any service request, no matter how urgent the request, it can take days or up to a couple weeks for them to come out and fix the issue. They dont even give you a call before they enter your apartment and you have to submit multiple service requests if you have multiple issues going on at the same time.Parking was terrible. Even if you paid for a single unreserved parking pass, you were not guaranteed a spot as they could all be filled by people who did not have parking stickers or who had tandem spots but they parked in unreserved spots. In the beginning, I could call the leasing office and someone would always pick up. Now... every time you try to call, you are automatically sent to their voicemail and even when you leave a message, no one reaches out to you. You have to actually go down to their office to talk to them in person if you actually want to get an answer or see results (sucks if you work during the leasing hours).Overall, I would not recommend this place anymore, its not as good as it used to be. And dont be fooled by these other reviews, they charge you a ridiculous made up fee and then theyll waive it if you leave them a Google or Yelp review.
They dont ever pick up the phone. As luxury and nice as it looks, there are extra charges for parkings and receiving parcels. And its not cheap! Theyre just trying to be nice (only the new tenants) and sell the apt to you. I regret living here.
At first it seems like a luxury apartment but location, location, and location. Its off of a major cross streets on Katella Ave & State College Blvd. Now, I didnt realize until we moved in, so many bums congregate around there. We constantly hear bums screaming outside and beware which side your apartment faces. We got the back side of the apartment where its a dead end street. And two apartments share garage entrances across from each other. First of all, there are constantly cars parked on the street, mostly Uber/Lyft drivers or shady guys waiting to sneak into the gates garage. The main reason I say waiting to sneak into the garage because weve had our storage unit broken into twice. And not just ours, our neighbors storage units as well. The security on property is useless, they just sit in there car at the front side of the garage and never patrol the premises. Never use their storage units, they are built terribly, it is easy to break into them. And worst part of the backside of the apartment are the amount of dumpsters out there. All the apartments near by and the restaurants puts all their dumpster on that street. So you can see dozen dumpsters 4-5 days a week. Not to mention dumpster trucks are just loud AF. If you want to sleep in on a weekday, forget about it. Our apartment was on the first floor so we got see these beautiful dumpsters right in front of our patio.(see photo) Weve asked management and maintenance to put the dumpster away from our patio, where theres plenty of space at the end of the street, but I guess that was too much work for the maintenance crew. Also, they had the fire alarm go off constantly. For what they charge for rent, you can find lot better luxary apartments in the area for the similar costs. I would never go back to this place.
Great leasing office. The amenities are over the top amazing with a huge theatre room, roof top pool and beautiful clubhouse and courtyards. Ive lived here for 4 months with my pet and have had a great experience ! Super dog friendly and always clean. Also has super huge dog run. And the gym is all brand new and perfect with a free trainer several times a week. You wont find anything like this place!!! Also there are often events for the residence to get to know each other and have fun!!!
Horrible place, Management is useless!
They will charge you $400 for cleaning, shampooing carpet, carpet stretching, & painting once you move out. Even if your walk through has every inspection marked as good. They will pass these charges along to you because they have zero knowledge of what good business practices are. After a good final inspection, you will receive this $400 bill in the mail, which you will then have to dispute with a very rude agent. This dispute has consumed more time and effort than I could have possibly imagined, but I refuse to give in to the unethical bully tactics that UDR is trying to impose on me. My final inspection even notes $0 charge to resident, yet they are still trying to bill me. Must be why the deposit is only $100...they try to get you for the rest post move-out.
The place is fantastic, and I say that after over 11 months living here in a 1/1 and getting ready to transfer over to a 2/2. The building is very elegant, the amenities are superb including the heated rooftop pool with views of Angel Stadium, Disney (and its nightly fireworks in the distance), and the surrounding mountains and area, and of course the game room, fireplace, and theater room, etc., etc... The units themselves are decked out really well with nice stainless steel Maytag appliances (even a double oven), black granite counter tops, a ceiling fan AND light in bedroom (big deal for me), washer/dryer of course, light dimmers, and a huge bathtub/shower. Oh the tile and wood floors arent a bummer either. The whole building is very well maintained and attractive inside and out. Location is really nice too from being by the baseball stadium and near the Honda Center to many important highways right around the corner (5, 57, 55, etc.) to easy access to the Amtrak (a 2-3 min walk) to the proximity to Disney and DT Disney or the Block in Orange mall.Wondering about the leasing team and their service? I sincerely think they are an enormous positive here and are very helpful and professional. They have shown utmost kindness since day 1. Kelsey, Matthew, Michelle, Blake (previously), and Andre now always look to help and be thorough. Love em and the complex here. You definitely get a lot for what you pay for.
1818 Platinum Triangle quickly responds to all needs of tenants! It’s a great place to live!!
Great property. Good security measures. Nice pool and fitness facilities. Well built and laid out apartments.
Great place to live! Very clean and well run, with wonderful amenities.
The leasing office isnt on top of things. Their focus is on getting new tenants and they dont keep up with existing tenants daily needs. Case in point: In any time, there will be one to three equipments in the fitness center that are out-of-order, and they stay like that for weeks. They let the trash accumulates in the trash cans around the property for days. It takes them days to respond to service requests. I would not recommend the place as is.
Rented unit. Paid the app and holding fee only to be told the apartment was not available. Leydie the leasing agent literally told me they were keeping my deposit on an apartment they did not have. I asked to talk to the supervisor and Leydie says no, she will contact her with my insistence that I be returned my deposit on an apartment that was not available. YOU WILL WORK WITH LEYDIE AND SHE IS A CORPORATE TOOL THAT IS LIKE TALKING TO A BRICK WALL. It is three weeks and they still have not returned my funds.
My family loved this place. If your looking for luxury and nice kitchen and living room this is the place. Maintence responded fast to things. Sam and Christine who work in the office are great and work hard. Before them the office wasnt as friendly and productive with things. People complain about how expensive it is, well its the quality and location your paying for. The only issue we had and was dealt with was a few roaches when we came back from a few weeks of vacation. Parking garage is a plus theres no cap on how many automobiles you have. Would love here again, we moved for school relocation.
I have been living here a little over a year and overall I love this place. The bathrooms are covered in luxurious travertine tile and the high ceilings in my unit make my place look much bigger than it is. The staff here are friendly and the recent management change is more responsive to tenant requests and also very helpful. Even during this holiday season when things are busy, the leasing office was willing to help with my Christmas package deliveries despite being on their own personal lunch breaks. Alice and Andre are very friendly and residents here seem to socialize a lot with them. Lately there are a lot of events that bring the residents together and they were nicely done. This community however, is not perfect just like any of the other communities that I have lived in before. I live near the courtyard and the echo can be quite bothersome when residents host their parties in the club room and especially when theres alcohol. Recently, there was an incident around 10 at night when the DJ and guests were being so loud that the management had to step in. There was a lot of yelling and shouting from the drunk guests but in the end I think they were asked to leave. Wheres security when you need them? I hope the management will consider banning alcohol because things are getting out of hand lately. Sadly, some people just cant handle their alcohol.Unsurprisingly, the resident parking garage has a lot of expensive cars and thats to be expected from this demographic who can afford the high rent. However, people here have a tendency to drive pretty fast in the underground garage and I hope they will either install speed bumps and/or post speed limit signs. You see more German marques than other imports and the spirited way they are being driven here definitely seems to reflect that.Overall, the management does a great job despite having to deal with some noisy people partying every now and then. Watch out for the drivers who think the garage is the autobahn.
Great place to live! Best in Anaheim overall!
Great apartments at a good price. Worth renting here or the brand new units across the street.
The leasing office staff is amazing and super helpful and the building is amazing!
Dont let the smooth taste FOOL YOU.The amenities will wear off.The rent goes higher & higher.Forget about your deposit with STRONG ARMED cleaning invoices to absorb your money. This truly represents a turning point in the apartment market. With construction outpacing demand, the national vacancy rate should slowly drift higher over the coming years, said Ryan Severino, senior economist and director of research at Reis.Vacancies are rising, but rents are also still rising at a robust pace, up 4.6 percent annually. This is well ahead of core inflation and the strongest performance for rents since 2007, before the recession.
Apartments are beautiful, wooden floors, garden bathtubs, great amenities and friendly staff especially Rachel Thomas!
Im not a resident, but its a beautiful apartment complex in an ideal location....I visit family often that live there.
