The Technician was ontime. Explained the process of diagnosing the issue. Explained because my fridge was a Kenmore Elite my warranty was better for sealed parts, and the compressor. So, the compressor was faulty, and one other little 15 dollar part. So I ended up spending $569.00 (Labor and small part)He also explained that it would take the fridge 24 hours to come all the way back down in temperature. And it did.I will use them again.

My 2.5 year old (purchased it in 2018) refrigerator was out from 6/11/21-7/29/21. My experience with Sears was AWFUL. I called everyday for the first week and after being sent to the call center in the Philippines, I finally started asking to be sent state side. Simply because all I was told from the representatives in the Philippines was “our system is down.” Then finally after WEEKS of calling, Sears sent Stella appliance company on 7/5/21 and when the tech arrived he said we needed Freeon, so he said he ordered it and it should arrive in a few days. Then a different tech came out 7/8 and he said he was there to replace the freeon, but shortly after he started, he stopped working and said “you need a new compressor” therefore he was unable to replace the freeon without a new compressor. So we waited from 7/8-7/29 for them to return and replace the compressor and freeon. However Stella Appliance company rarely answered their phone between 7/8-7/28, never gave an update on the status of the new compressor and they only came out after being called by a Sears representative on 7/28. The tech from Stella Appliance didn’t speak English, so it was very difficult to communicate with him. But midway thru him replacing the compressor and freeon, he told me the coils needed to be cleaned and it would be $80 cash, as it was not covered by the service contract. After almost 7 weeks with no refrigerator, I just said fine and had him clean the coils. However as he completed the repair I asked him for a receipt to show what I paid and what repairs he completed to which he stated “you don’t need, it’s fine. You don’t need.” I didn’t argue because I was completely fed-up with the entire process! But FINALLY after almost 7 weeks without a refrigerator and living out of an ice chest, my refrigerator appears to be working.I was extremely disappointed because EVERY Sears representative I spoke with was TERRIBLE, unhelpful, and simply rude (except for Jessica, she was nice, and did what she could to help guide me in the right direction). If I had the means, I would have just thrown out my refrigerator and purchased a new one.

Terrible experience. I had scheduled an appointment, only to find out that it was never scheduled with the technician. I called several times to reschedule and I was always put on hold without no assistance. The representatives were no help and no supervisor was available.

My experience was terrible, hard time understanding associates, set the appointment, waited for 2 hours for service only to find the appointment wasnt set after all. Next available, 5 days away...tried again, couldnt understand associate, hung up. Love Sears! But not their maintenance service.

The drier is fixed but the service man and the telephone customer service rep were not in good communication so he showed up with the wrong part.

Customer service here is really bad, takes too long to book appointments and my last experience was horrible down to the technician that went to my home for the repair. i have a contract so i cant get out of it unfortunately.
