We used Alps Heating and Air Conditioning 2 years ago to replace our furnace and had such a good experience that we called on them recently to replace both of our ancient air conditioners. As before, our representative took his time in helping us make a decision on air conditioners that we were very comfortable with. The team who installed the air conditioners was excellent. They were friendly, unobtrusive, informative and kept all of their stuff organized and picked up. When they left, they took all the trash. We even found the office staff to be very responsive and quick. Wed definitely use Alps again and wed recommend Alps to our friends, family and anyone in need of heating and air conditioning services.

Alfredo was the technician. He was professional yet very friendly. He told me exactly what was wrong with my heater and what my options were going forward. I was totally surprised when he told me the charge for his services because nothing is that inexpensive anymore! Two other things I really appreciated about this company - a representative from Alps kept me apprised of Alfredos whereabouts and when he would be arriving so that I didnt have to guess as to what time within the two-hour window he would show up. Its too bad more companies dont adopt this practice so you can go about your business until the tech shows up as opposed to wasting time waiting around for 2 to 4 hours until the doorbell rings. Also, I liked the idea that they text you a picture of the tech who will be coming to your house along with a short paragraph that describes him. This way you know who youre opening your door to and inviting into your home. This is a thoughtful level of protection that someone like myself - a single female, appreciates.So if you are looking for a class-act company with reasonable prices and expert technicians to service your heating/AC, Alps Heating & Air Conditioning is the place you want to call!

Really glad we chose Alps for our Heating and AC needs. Our home needed the entire HVAC system replaced as it was nearly 30 years old. Had three places come out to visit and quote. The price between all the companies was essentially the same, but the level of detail and care received from Allen and crew at Alps easily put them over the top. The other companies were OK but Allen took the time to explain everything in detail that we would be doing, including time to select the exact right model that was needed for each piece of equipment. The day-of install crews were phenomenal - Manny, Alexis, Jerry - and all the other guys did a fantastic day during the installation. Everyone was prompt and polite, and were respectful of being on property with booties and masks worn all day. I received a walk-through of what they had installed before they left, and a check-in follow up call a few days later from Allen. Superb all the way around!

This company gave a fair estimate when others inflated their prices. The work done was fast, thorough and complete! The workers did not leave a mess and stayed to make sure everything ran smoothly and to explain all mechanical devices and how they worked. Very happy with them and I would recommend them!

ALPS did a great job. They were able to schedule my appointment to occur within a week of my call saying I wanted to move forward. They replaced my AC, furnace, ducts in my attic and more. My AC unit used to be right next to my front door and they came up with a wonderful solution of using the crawl space to move the unit without having to cut through concrete. This helped save me so much time and money. The team showed up on time and took their time to make sure the job was done right and well.

After 26 years of faithful service, we decided it was time to replace our HVAC system to include: AC compressor, gas furnace, coils, smart thermostat, and air purifier. We had two basic requirements, energy efficiency and quietness. We received five proposals. Alps we definitely not the least expensive but we went with them for following reasons.When Alan came to our home for walkthrough in order to generate proposal he did a very thorough job. He looked at all the equipment, ducting, electrical and so on. A couple other companies basically walked in looked at the furnace asked a couple questions and left. Alan listened to what we wanted and showed us Lennox equipment that he thought would match our needs. This was important as we had received several proposals quoting “builder grade” equipment that was made in the “same” factory as Lennox. The proposal we well written and described in detail the equipment and all aspects of the installation.Installation was on June 24, 2021. The installation team consisted of Jorge, Walter, and Erik. All three true professionals who took pride in the work and very pleasant to work with. Really hardly knew they were here most of the time. They left the house probably cleaner than when they arrived. Great install group!We really love the new system. The old blower sounded like a jet taking off when AC was on. This one you really don’t even notice it. I really like the variable speed operation the keeps the temp very constant.Electrical usage is down substantially. Today I reviewed our usage on SCE. I compared June 22nd (old unit) to June 26th (new unit) there was a 46% reduction in electrical usage between the two days! NOTE – High temp on 22nd was 86F and 85F on the 26th.If looking for a new system or system tune-up/repair, give these fine folks a call. I don’t think you’ll be sorry you did.

I had a complete system put in from scratch on my 100 year old house. Enrique, Lazaro and Erick did an amazing job and Im very satisfied with my new central air and heat system. Allan was the salesman who helped me get the price down with everything I wanted and was competitive with the other company I was talking to. I had a few minor issues and they were back out the next day with easy fixes and all is perfect now. They installed a heater and ac unit as well as put vents and ducts in each room. I have a WiFi thermostats and an air purifier. All in was 15,400k for my 1200square foot house. Much needed for the crazy hot summers in Long Beach. They also installed my parents central air system and they are very satisfied as well. Theyve had theirs 4 years with minimal issues. Highly recommend Alps.

Changed the motor and he did all the checks to make sure we were all set. He was very professional and gave me some great info on my system and what the latest standards are. I met with Allen to discuss very particular requirements because I am also installing a solar panel array. Allen went way beyond my expectations, spending over an hour learning about my solar project to understand my energy requirements and then spending more time to assess how to route all the cabling and piping for the proposed system. The installers, Kiki, Gus and Lazaro, were excellent, thoughtful, and professional. They worked really hard to make sure the installation was beautiful while finding ways to route the cabling and piping so it was pretty much invisible.Allen even came back during the install to make sure I was satisfied with the progress. I am very satisfied with Alps and their entire team.

Alps just finished installing a top of the line Lennox XC25 A/C and corresponding furnace along with some additional duct work yesterday. If you dont want to read everything below, suffice it to say we are extremely pleased with their service from start to finish and wouldnt hesitate recommending them. They were also very COVID-19 aware and compliant. No messing around, which we as science loving folks appreciate.From the get-go when asking for an estimate we were very impressed. Allen (owners son) was quick to schedule, on-time, extremely professional and very thorough in discussing what we needed and didnt need. We already had a strong idea of what we wanted ahead of time so we could compare apples to apples, he talked about differences between systems anyway so he knew I knew what made the one we wanted different. Allen also took the time to address concerns to our home in specific and suggested a few solutions individual to our home that were low in cost. I told Allen from the beginning that were seeking multiple estimates, and there was absolutely zero pressure to make a decision that day. Allen pointed out some areas where ALPS might have been different than other companies to make sure I had done my homework (I had). Other companies I had out tried to entice me to sign a contract immediately. Other companies were also not nearly as thorough in their explanation and individualized approach.Fast forward a week and we had made our decision to go with ALPS. They were not the absolute cheapest, but the differences were negligible between them and other companies and ALPS had impressed us with the additional things they were adding to help take care of one room that ran hot and increase the efficiency of our system overall. Allen also had no issues with me removing their UV light air purifier to save a few hundred dollars. No pressure to keep it whatsoever.We were scheduled within 2 weeks for install which given the time period is pretty good as far as Im concerned and the system we wanted is currently in high demand. Unbeknownst to us the A/C they ordered from Utah was not received by Monday and our install was Wednesday. There were no other units to be had. However, they went out of their way buying the unit off another contractor and driving to Vegas to get it in time to install at the scheduled time. That is awesome service.Install team (Jorge, Walter and Alexis) arrived 30 minutes early and didnt bother us because it was early. We noticed and told them they were welcome to start. All three guys were gentleman, wore masks at all times, made sure to watch out for our pesky animals and were patient with our 6-year-old. We primarily holed up in our office while they worked and they were sure to ask us about anything at all that they needed approval on or alert us to anything that might affect us. They worked from 8:30 to 6:30 virtually non-stop and when they were done they cleaned up after themselves and took plenty of time to test the system and show us around the new equipment and controls. Nothing felt rushed, even at the end of a 10 hour day. Allen also came by early on to make sure things were going as planned.So far, things definitely feel better than our old system, but we were also working with a 25-year old system prior! That said, even the best system installed incorrectly is no good, and I feel confident that they did the job correctly. The one room that ran hot before feels great. Ill update this review when city inspection gives their work the all-clear. On that note, Allen suggested withholding $1000 of payment depending on city inspection passing. I love that confidence and I took him up on it.My only minor critique is that ALPS prefers to package their UV light and advanced filtration within their quotes without you seeing exactly how much those things are going to cost. I understand why, though these are add-ons that our family didnt find necessary. The important thing is that Allen readily gave the cost when asked and gave no fuss when we asked to remove.We highly recommend ALPS!

Contacted their front office staff to make a scheduled service call appointment that was calendered two(2) weeks out for Friday 9/4/2020 from 2-4 pm. We did not receive a text/email/phone confirmation that week, the night before or the day off so it would be assumed that the appointment was on and expected them to show up between the time frame of 2-4 pm.They were a no show. No communication regarding them blowing the appointment off, no apology, no reschedule on their part.POOR/NO concept of positive customer service/client satisfaction, we guess they dont need repeat business.

I called Alps on 1/27/20 for my heating maintenance and was able to get a same day appointment. Travis M arrived promptly. Travis was very personable and courteous. I felt the quality of service was very high as he spent 2+ hours inspecting the furnace, thermostat, registers, testing for CO2, etc. He also fixed one of the registers that was rattling which I completely forgot about, so I was very impressed that he caught that. He gave me advice about running the fan, and also took several photos so I could see the actual condition of the furnace, and he advised what issues may arise in the future. I appreciated his professionalism as well as his ample knowledge of his craft.

I recently replaced my aging 5 ton HVAC system. Due to the cost, I received several estimates but ultimately chose Alps for a few reasons. Joey provided a few different detailed estimates and was very responsive in answering any follow-up questions I had regarding the installation and system. Their estimate was also very competitive especially since it included a Costco cash card because they were a HVAC Selected Service provider. The installation crew led by Manuel completed the job in a day, were very courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and answered any questions I had about the system. Since the weather has been pretty nice, I haven’t really exercised the system extensively as of yet but so far so good.

Had a great experience with our new AC company. We have using other companies and they simply aren’t doing what they say they will. Travis came to my home today to service my AC and furnace (tune up). He was pleasant, respectful and efficient. My service window was between 12-3 pm. I received a text from Travis at 12:07 notifying me that he was on his way. He arrived quickly and after listening to my concerns, he quickly went to work . Travis was thorough and professional and was cognizant of my time constraints. Satisfied customer.

We love ALPS. They did the original AC / Heat install at our home, so when the AC wasnt working right, I called them. They scheduled a next day appt and their tech Alfredo Leon showed up within my time slot. He took the time to check the entire AC system top to bottom and figured out that it needed to be cleaned. He cleaned the compressor, reassembled everything, and left the work area clean and debris free. He also came with appropriate PPE (face mask, gloves, and booties) which I was really appreciative of given the current health crisis.I highly recommend ALPS. Give them a call and you wont be disappointed.

We had our Lenox air conditioner services as part of our annual maintenance. Also for some reason when we turned on our system a week ago we received an error message. This may have been due to my turning off our house power and the thermostat didnt reboot properly. Our service tech was great. I watched him and he explained all thru the process what he was doing. He recommended that I hose off the condenser coils every couple of months. Something I didnt know but I will do. He not only did it, he wipes the entire unit down drying it like it was a new car. Very please with his work. He also wore feet covers before entering our home, which we appreciate He also wore his protective face mask. Great job Alps.

I contacted Alps for a complete upgrade to my HVAC system and Joey gave me a couple of options and was always available to discuss pros and cons as well as answer any questions. It was not an easy project and modifications had to be made as the project progressed. Manuel S, Alberto T, and Victor did not proceed with any modification until they discussed it with me. They were very respective and professional. I am more than pleased with the work and the efficiency of the system.
