I truly cannot say enough good things about this shop. Everyone there is SO friendly and personable! I worked with Justin on a necklace design that was a little out there and he was super creative with the process. Each and every person I spoke to went above and beyond to make sure my piece was perfect!

I worked with all the wonderful people at Gilger to have a custom engagement/wedding ring designed. They were all so helpful in the process and willing to work with my ideas, wants, and budget. You will feel very supported and cared about during your time there, it’s almost like working with family. I cannot say enough positive things about Gilger Designs! When my partner wanted a non-traditional wedding band the folks at Gilger talked us through different metals and finishes and helped us pick out the perfect band. When my late mothers wedding ring split after a previous resizing with another jeweler, they fixed it within 2 days and it looked better than it did initially! So incredibly friendly and talented!!

Called ahead to find out if the store sized fingers for rings and was told they did and it would be free. When I arrived I explained the same things as I did on the phone only to be interrogated on the specifics of my graduation ring to eventually be denied. Staff was curt and unprofessional while also giving out inaccurate information from a call. Would not recommend using them for sizing or purchasing from if staff is that combative even when offered to pay for the sizing.

Amazing place run by wonderful people. I went in with some ideas for my wedding ring and they created exactly what I was looking for. It truly is a piece of art and one of a kind. I would recommend Gilger Designs for anyone looking for unique jewelry and artwork.

We went to Gilger Design for my engagement ring and band. They were great to work with and every thing turned out beautiful. The ring was unique to what I wanted and they created a band to fit that vision as well. The whole family is usually in there with a warm welcome!

WoW!!......A couple weeks ago, I took my family diamonds in to Gilger Designs to see if they could follow a drawing I had done on paper for an heirloom ring. No one else seemed to be able to do it. Justin was not only able to accommodate what I wanted, but he added his own expertise to make this ring even more exquisite then I could imagine. Took my breath away when I saw it in the black box.If you have not visited this family business, you’re missing out on this great gem of Ames.The artwork by Mike in their store is beautiful and mesmerizing. Everyone in this family business is warm and welcoming, even their dog, unless she’s policing the shop when closed.

When it came time to have a ring made for my wife I decided to go to Gilger Designs. Mike is extremely talented and did a fantastic job. The ring is very unique, well made and definitely one of a kind. My wife gets comments on it all the time. Ive known Justin and MJ Gilger since high school so this was the first place I thought of when I was looking for an engagement ring. From the moment I walked in the store the whole staff (which is a whole-family operation!) was completely supportive and helpful. Mike Gilger crafted the ring I wanted with his own hands and my fiance absolutely loves it. Awesome service and craftsmanship, and a cool store too filled with art!

My fiancé and I had our ring designed by Gigler Designs. They did an excellent job matching exactly what we had in mind and suggested helpful feedback. They created a wax mold from our requests, in which helped us make small adjustments on the design of the overall ring. They were very helpful picking out our diamond and we are in love with finished product! I would definitely refer them to another couple!!

I have always had an excellent experience with Gilger Designs. Everything was so easy and Judy Gilger is so nice to work with! My custom designed jewelry set gets so many compliments! I also always get free cleaning anytime I stop by. I have even recommenrd my friends from out of sstate to work with the Gilger family.
