Ive been here several times, and every time has been amazing. This time, I brought in a piece I had bought there for cleaning, as well as three other pieces to ask about maintenance needs on them. They cleaned them gratis, and told me the pieces didnt need any work, and didnt try to sell me things I didnt need. I bought two more pieces that day, and there was absolutely no pressure to buy. The staff member patiently explained options regarding what I was looking for and spent a long time helping me find exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend.

I stopped by Friday afternoon to see if they could repair my box chain necklace. This necklace is over 30 years old and has sentimental value. They were genuinely kind and very friendly and helpful. The gentleman that assisted me looked at the chain and said he would take it back and look at it quick. He came back shortly thereafter and had it repaired. It wasn’t only me that I observed receiving great customer service but also others in the store as well. It is worth it to go to a small family owned business that is vested in giving their customers the best service. It was my first time into the store, but not my last. I being at work could not get there until today, by 4:00pm they had my ring fixed and the band soldered. I went to Ames Silversmithing yesterday to have two rings re-sized, and received EXCELLENT service. First, everyone in the store was wearing masks and they had hand sanitizer right by the front door. I was greeted right away and helped immediately; resizing my rings took no time at all! Great service -- I love this shop.

Absolutely amazing customer service, high quality employees, and great atmosphere. They started working on my ring resizing on Wednesday and got it back the next Monday. They even said 7-10 days! It’s so perfect and beautiful. Hammered band that doesn’t even look like it’s been resized! Very reasonable price as well. $110 for 2 rings from an 8 size down to a 5.75. Very happy and will keep them in mind for any future jewelry.

I’ve been coming to this place for 2-3 years now & they never fail to disappoint. I have this really fragile, sentimental gold chain that breaks if it gets snagged on too hard, and that’s where ames silversmithing comes in. They generally propose needing a “few days” to fix the chain, but every time they always call within the same day or two to let me know that the chain is fixed and ready for pickup. Excellent service & excellent pricing. Highly recommended!!

I’ve got a vintage wedding set. Took it in today to get a loose stone and rough prong fixed. In less than 30 minutes it was fixed, cleaned and good as new! The only place I’ll ever take my jewelry for maintenance and repairs. Hands down the best.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. I was initially working with Kyle on a potential design I was given a picture of and he actually found it produced by another large scale producer. He was extremely honest and told me that since I don’t now the exact ring size, through the other place I would be able to return the ring and at Ames Silversmiths it would be individual and no going back. So if all goes well with the other vendor or through Silversmiths, Kyle helped me through the process either way!
